Do you think she might be copying Rylee?? I know Rianna copies both the big girls, and Dion depending on whom she thinks is getting more attention.. Maybe she is starting to realise Rylee screams, and gets held by mommy because of this.
Dunno. Maybe just put Rylee down in her bed for 5 mins whilst you put Kels to bed, read a little story, cuddle a special friend (even if Ry cries for a few minutes whilst Kels gets mummy all to herself??? ) that would be my take on the situation. After being sick, and in hospital, Kels is scared you will be with Ry all the time and never her??

Im sorry life is rotten ATM. Maybe with DH home for the day tomorrow will be better ( will "x" still be bugging you ??)

    Hi there,

Found our new thread and rated it :-)
Kate - I dunno about Kelse, but sounds like typical Al behaviour there. Although he's getting much better over the past week or so. He can scream like we've done the worst possible thing to him. So I can relate! I sing a song..read a book...all quiet and dosing...then get up to go and all hell breaks loose. So I am getting good at slowly and quietly moving (sneaking) out of the room..one step at a time..inch by inch..if he goes to cry a little I just say shhhh...and he knows I'm there so he's quiet again...then creeping out slowly... By the time I'm out he's usually gone. Deep breaths!!!

Vanita- sorry Dion had a bad day. More teeth? Thanks for sleepy vibes.

HI Brooke - love the new site and piccies of Maya. She looks very cute and clever!

Hi everyone. Hope you're enjoying the weekend.

Dion sounds very similar Brooke. He goes to sleep between 8 - 8.30 at night, sleeps through til 7 - 7.30, and then usually sleeps for 3 hrs between 11- 2. He doesnt have an afternoon nap anymore, just the one big sleep, unless he only sleeps for an hr in the morning.

Though today has been a bad morning for him again and he has cried all morning. then we went to the shops. He has been asleep now for only 1/2 hr, so I expect him to sleep until 3.30 I guess. will hopefully put Rianna down soon and have a littlie free arvo.

Pup goes to bed at similar times to your bubs (8 - 8.30pm) and sleeps through until 8.30 - 9am nearly every time. He has a sleep in the arvo of about 2 hours from about 2 - 4pm.

Kate, sorry hun, can't offer any words of wisdom on the sleep issue. How frustrating tho.

Ugh, we're still sick. Pup is now on PredMix (predniselone), panadol, demazin and nurofen if needed!!! Good god. I, on the other hand, can have nothing but Strepsils and a revolting cough medicine called Senega and Ammonia. Bloody awful stuff, but I am feeling marginally better....but still awful. Oh, and I'm eating panadol like lollies (don't worry Vanita.....every 4 hours!!). I'll be glad when we're better.

Well I can't remember what everyone has said, gee. A girl doesn't come in for a bit and look what happens.

Jonah is being a pill with his sleep lately so he's been up sometimes still at 11pm, so it's yet another cycle of going to bed late. I find when he's in this cycle he's picky with his food and doesn't eat much, so I don't know what's going on with that. He's definitely in his terrible 2's atm and will have a tanty for the slightest thing, one of today's ones was because we wouldn't let him stay in the garage after taking something in there.

Oh Kate, you poor bugger. You are doing marvellously, maybe like Brooke and Vanita said, Kelse is copying Rye?? I'm not sure what the solution is though. Let me know if you need a hand though, happy to come and sit with the girls whilst you have a nap.

Have a great night tonight Brooke

Vanita- What did you get Chris for his birthday? Ben's is next month and I'm already wracking my brain to try and think of something.

We took Jonah to see Happy Feet yesterday, think we should have gone to the drive in. He sat for a little while and danced to a few of the songs but he was more interested in running about, making noise and chucking popcorn on the people in front of us
Next time we want to take him to see a movie I think it will definitley be a drive in thing, lol.

Oh I forgot to tell you Ben is going to be in the "mob" (the 100) on 1 vs 100 (the new game show on channel 9), his taping is on Friday so I will let you know when it is going to air And yes he is a game show junkie.

Oooooh cool. Yes I will definitely let you know, if you don't get to see it we will have taped it anyway. Poo about Dion's mood

Kate- It's cute when they say please isn't it, hehehehe. You may be right about the milestone thingy though. Having a station wagon would be cool at the drive in, especially with a mattress and doona. Ummmmmm, the show is very complicated but you win money being the 1 and being in the 100, I think everyone will have to watch because I can never explain what the hell goes on, lol.

Poo I rememberd something that I think Brooke was asking about but now I can't remember what it was, bugger.

Wow you girls can chat!! At some stage there I was really starting to get worried with the things you were saying!

Kate – Sorry to hear you are having a tough time again. Hopefully the RCH session will really help. I agree with Vanita about Kelse copying Rylee but you said you don’t think it is that so I’m not sure. Having to deal with ‘x’ is the last thing you need, hugs to you Kate. You could always e-mail us if you want to vent about ‘x’. My BIL & SIL use the word ‘pop off’ for fart. Not for me though. We don’t have a word except we say ‘excuse you’ to Amy and used the word ‘pooooo’ when my brother was at our place farting. Amy started calling him ‘poo’ after that and she waves her hand in front of her face. I am definitely interested in going to the Mattel outlet. How cute Kelse saying ‘please’ what a good girl.

Brooke – Fluff for fart, I though we were the only ones that used that. Won’t be using that one either. It sounds like Maya is ready for TT. Maya and Amy seem so similar with their talking and mannerisms. We bought a toilet seat but then bought a potty which is referred to as ‘Amy’s toilet’. She is pretty much doing everything in it on her own now which is good and we go through about 2 nappies in 24hrs. We were looking at the expensive potties that look like camping toilets but ended up buying a cheap one which is fine. Amy is still going to bed at 9pm and gets up at 9am and has been doing that for close to a year. Her feeding/sleeping times are based around my working full time so I play with her for 4hrs every night. She has been having only an afternoon sleep about 2-4 but has recently been going down in the morning instead. It is great that the cod liver oil is working for Maya, it does stink though! A doctor would probably never have said to give that to her.

Vanita – LOL at Dion being 17 when he is TT, that is a slight exaggeration don’t you think! He will probably pick it up fast because of his bigger sisters. Hope Dion is a happy boy again now. Has Chris been away lately to fight the fires? My BIL just got back and he is exhausted. They are getting some more help from the US, it is scary how serious these fires are. I hope Chris likes his birthday present.

Hay – Sorry to hear you are all sick. You have had a bad run of it and you live in the cleanest, country air. The rest of us live in towns so maybe the pollution is helping keeping us well. Hope you are feeling better. Do you still have ‘cow duties’ when you are sick or do you get time off?

Bec – That’s funny that Jonah was under the bed but it wouldn’t have been funny at the time! We downloaded Happy Feet and Amy liked the songs. Just went and played in the playroom for most of it. Good luck for Ben for Friday! A game show junkie is a good thing and he did well on Deal.

Rach, Viv sounds like she is doing really well with her skating. You could have a National or International champion on your hands!

Deb – I hope you got your homework done, you do seem to have a lot on especially with the move coming up. Make sure you get plenty of rest.

Hi Bel and anyone else I have missed.

We had a busy weekend, farmers market on Sat morning can’t remember Sat afternoon 50th Sat night which Amy had fun. Market and a horse show yesterday. We bought a cubby from eBay last week and it has a carport. I have to stop buying toys. Some of you have seen our rumpus/playroom, well it was full so we took out 4 large boxes of toys to make room. I have seriously gone too far with buying toys and DH says we could open up a toy library. Amy has her 18mth MCHN visit today and her vacc tomorrow. Yesterday she fell asleep with a water bottle in her mouth, it is a normal one with a pop top kid of lid and she was so cute. She is saying ‘set’ ‘go’ after I say ready when she is on top of the slide. CD 22 toady, maybe testing on Wednesday – 10DPO.

Oh, oh, oh, I remember what it was now. Brooke was asking about TT. We have a toilet insert but we're not trying yet. I bought it a while ago now and we put him on there sometimes but I wanted him to get used to it before the whole TT thing because I didn't want him to be scared sitting on there. He loves sitting on there though, has a big grin on his face the whole time. He's never done anything though, just practice sometimes before he has a bath.

Gemma- You certainly have been busy. Lol at all the toys and the cubby having a carpot, that's hilarious. Awwww how cute falling asleep with a water bottle in her mouth. Good luck for testing on Wednesday, I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Bec, this may be a silly question but do you TT boys to sit or stand? I can just see Jonah sitting on the toilet with a big grin on his face. Amy goes too many times standing up just like dad! She did it on the grass out the back yesterday but mostly goes on the potty but it is funny to see her standing. The carport is handy as we have put the cubby in the alfresco. Amy parks her cars there but can only fit a couple.

Kate – Maybe with X you should pull her up on what she is saying like you have done in the past. She may need a consistent message to change her behaviour. The four boxes were the ones we took out, there are heaps left in the playroom. Check out cubby houses on eBay as you can get a good price if you spend the time looking regularly. When you said you were going to look in the WW book I actually thought you were looking in ‘Women’s Weekly’. Why I would think that I do not know! Will be interested to hear how Kelsey’s appointment goes today too.

Just a quick question for you all. As you are know I am testing on Wed but it may be too early. I have been asked to go to Sydney this Thursday but I am not sure about flying if pg. It is a short flight and it should be okay. I will take my piece of lead to help with the Cosmic Radiation...I know it sounds weird and it is tough getting through the screening at the airport. What do you think? Last time I flew at 9 weeks and up to 29 weeks but now this early. But I might not even be pg so maybe I should go?
