As for the wrapping, the Danes would give me strange looks when I said I wrapped the baby - like I was inflicting some sort of bizarre torture on the child. They believe in the baby being 'free to move' I guess. There was no real reason given to me, just that it wasn't done. My MCHN likened it to something she had read about in Russia where they wrap the baby and hang them from the ceiling - like a hanging cocoon sort of thing. Obviously she thought I was being rather exotic! \/
