Baiza - good luck with Bailee's needles and with the nurse. It's lovely when they smile and giggle.

Mumof2 - don't worry if you have to drive around just to get Ky to sleep. I would consider doing that too. It could be a growth spurt. Who really knows. We just cope the best we can.

Kel - I wish I was in Melb so I could meet up with you guys too! I feel so alone over here with no one really to talk to about stuff. I guess that's why I'm always on here. Good to hear you are getting better and Charlotte is on the mend. Poor Madison having asthma. I've personally never had it but I've seen people who have got it and it's not nice. I hope she's OK.

    Hiya Em!!

Hi Dee - glad to hear from you. I hope you recover soon.

Fee - HAPPY BIRTHDAY FOR TOMORROW!!!! I hope Cooper and Mark spoil you!!

Cassie - make sure you take your Mini Pill right on time. You only have a 3 hour span instead of 12 hours with the normal Pill.

I have some news and I don't like it. AF has returned already!!!!! 10 weeks to the day that I had Danielle!!!! I discovered it almost to the hour that I had her too!! Freaky!!!! I guess it's my fault for not producing enough milk for Danielle and not being able to BF properly and giving up. I jinxed myself last night when we were out for dinner for a friend's birthday. We were talking about Britney Spears and it would be like Ken and I trying for another one now and having it the same ages part as her two. And then guess who decided to show up this morning - AF!!!!! I was hoping it would come a little later but I guess I can't do anything about it. On a good note is that I can go back on the Pill again now. I wanted to wait until I had my first AF before I went back on.

I better run - off to my first Mother's Group soon. I hope it's fun. Have a great day everyone.

You know my wife has always BF our baby's and has always produced plenty of milk but on our first two children AF visited around week 5 but so far with corban we are still AF-free.....which is a bit nerve wrecking since we dont know when she might sneak up on us and since we basicaly do NFP it makes it hard to know when the "safe" days are...lol. At the same time, its been nice for DW.

I'm having a good birthday so far, even though Mark is in Sydney for work and won't be home until 8.30 pm tonight.

Last night Mark gave me a cuddle and said he was very sorry, but he had forgotten to get me a birthday card. He knew I'd be sad because I love getting sweet cards from him! He's just had a shocking week and forgot about the card. So I was bummed cause I knew I wouldn't be getting a present from him today either. I had ordered some Dermologica the other day as I'd run out so we used the money from our "present budget" for this as it was expensive.

But anyway when I got up to feed Cooper last night, I found a card in my bag. He must have found a spare one (we usually keep a few on hand). He wrote a lovely message in it.

Also we have a magnet "to do list" on the fridge and he'd added some new points:

    - Wish Fee Happy Birthday
    - Say "I love you" to her
    - Kiss her
    - Miss her
    - Bring her home Krispy Kreme donuts

I've just checked it this morning and the first 3 points have been crossed out.

He had to leave around 4.00 am this morning but he just called me to say he'd landed in Sydney.

And I've found a few other things around the house. When I went to dress Cooper, I found some things in his drawer. A note saying happy birthday from Cooper, a Cleo magazine (I never buy mags), a Vanilla Lipsmackers (my fave) and some white chocolate raspberry bullets. Yum!

I've also found another note just now on Cooper's play mat!

So I'm very happy now. I love little things like that. It's the small things that make you smile!

Baiza – I was glad to finally join in one of your chats yesterday. It was great. Hope Bailee's needles go well today. Good luck.

Deejoy17 – Glad to hear Adrian is doing so well. He is the same size as Cooper, but Cooper is 8 weeks old! And even Cooper is quite big compared to some other babies (I have found).

Fraser – Hope you can catch up on all the posts soon.

kmh – How is Charlotte's cough? Hope you have a great anniversary on Sunday!

mumof2beauties – How's the monster of yours? Turned back into an angel yet?! Yes, Cooper can have days where he won't sleep, but you can tell he's tired as anything!

Bubseykel – Glad to hear you enjoyed the Mother's Group. Were there many people there?

chantal25 – That's great your cracked nipples are beginning to heal. About the needles – isn't it meant to be 3 needles? That's what Cooper got.

Hi girls I was going to reply to everyone but Adrian is wanting Mummy, so I better put myMummy hat on again, I`ll be back when I have 5 minutes, in this house it`s very lucky if I have 5 seconds LOL

Adrian is doing well, he`s sleeping between 5 - 6 hours at night now, then has another sleep of approx 4 hours, by then it`s about 6/7am that`s good in one way but in another I think AF is arriving not happy Jan, why can some women go months without AF yet here I fully breastfeed my babies and still get it within 2 months.

    Hope your all well.

    Take Care

    Hi all

It was a busy birthday weekend. I feel exhausted!!!

Question for you – who does a dream feed or rollover feed with their bub?

Cooper often goes 7-9 hours from his last feed of the night until the next. The problem is, his last feed is usually at 5-6 pm. So that means he wakes around 1-2 am. He then usually feeds again around 4-5 am.

I currently go to bed at 8.30 pm.

I don't know whether to hang out until the day he goes 12 hours between feeds (I assume this happens eventually?) or to try a rollover feed now. I guess I can just try the rollover feed and see what happens.

The thing is, I'm not really tired or anything like that but it would be nice to sleep a little longer!

If I did a rollover feed, what happens with dropping that feed one day? How do you know it's ready to be dropped? Just leave it out one night and then see what happens?

I might post this in a general forum too.

Baiza – Hope Bailee has been okay after getting his needles.

kmh – Did you buy many Pixi photos? A friend of my is a photographer and she has taken some pics of Cooper. One of them is in my ticker. I'm still waiting on her to send me all the photos on CD. Once she does, I'll put them on my Yahoo website.

Cassie – About the flat patch, do you put Dylan's head on different sides each time you put him to bed? Or if he always moves his head to the preferred side, then be tricky and place him to sleep the other way in his bed. This might work.

We also got Cooper's needles done at our family GP instead of at a clinic. I didn't want to line up for ages etc. And we wanted our GP to meet Cooper.

Bubseykel – Cooper has a bald ring too. He looks like Friar Tuck! But ages ago he lost heaps of hair from the top of his head (I think when his skin was very dry and flaked off) but now it's growing back.

Oh and yay about the Eagles! You must be very happy.

I hope Danielle goes back to her good sleeping soon.

Fraser – Oh Em what a problem you have with your SIL. Can your brother say anything to her? Have you spoken to him?

Deejoy17 – Sounds like Adrian is doing fabulously.

Chantal - I'm glad your cracks are starting to heal. I don't think 3 needles is right too. Danielle only had 2.

    Fee - Happy Birthday!!!!!
Mother's Group there are 9 of us but only 5 of us seem to want to talk about things. It's like the other's are scared. 4 of us are catching up for coffee and a chat on Tuesday at one of the girl's home. We are all the very chatty ones so it should be good.

I've got a personal training session today at the gym but I'm so not up for it. It only goes for half an hour so I guess I can manage for just that time. We are going to a Fair tomorrow but it's meant to be raining. I hope it doesn't - I'm so looking forward to going.

I hope everyone has a great weekend.

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY FEE!!!!

What a lovely hubby you have - that sounds so amazing - way better than just getting a present - how very thoughtful of him. Hope you have a great day.

Well I have resigned myself to the fact I am never going to catch up on all the posts - so can I please have a clean slate and start again from now?

Stupid roadworks happening outside at teh moment - they are reaplcing all the water pipes in the street, so Charlie has been waking every 15 minutes or so when he hears a loud or scary noise.

He had his 8 week injections on Weds - I cried my eyes out, he was fine, the Dr and the nurse spent more time consoling me than him - I was so tired we'd been up since 4am and I think I was just a little overwhelmed. We;re ok now - he didn't have any reactions apart form sleeping for 8 hours straight - so that was nice and gave me a chance to get my sanity levels back to 'near to normal' as opposed to 'needs to be dropped off at the nut house'

sorry for not many personals - there is so much going on and heaps of new people - hello to those I haven't met yet - I promise I will be good and read everyones posts from this day forward, for ever and ever, til death to we part.

Has anyone heard from Tanya (Tulip)? I couldn't see any posts from her.

    Speak soon, Em.

Bubseykel - is suppost to be 2 needles but they forgot to mix one and so he had an extra shot.
I am so stressed and worried - took Zac to the DR and we have been refered to a specialist. he also has to have an ultrasound and had to do a urine sample. (that was fun to collect lol) I knew there was a problem with his belly - i am just glad the dr listened. hopefuly i should know more on monday.

Well Cooper is being a grizzle guts today and won't settle in his cot. So he's doing quite a few cat naps on me. Also he's feeding a lot. Such much for being a good boy for my birthday!

Bubseykel – Have fun at the fair tomorrow. Hope it doesn't rain.

Fraser – Tulip still posts regularly but in all the other forums. I often visit them too. Such as the General Baby Discussion, Breastfeeding forum and others like that. She's always posting there with various questions!

chantal25 – Cooper had 3 needles. Two in one leg and one in the other. One is the triple one and I'm not sure about the other two.

we are all doing much better now, thanks to all the people who were thinking of us. Charlotte has her neddles on monday. She has done really well with putting her self to sleep, in the morning she will normally lay there for about 30mins before she falls asleep, normally i wont have to go in there, however at night, i have found that she will have a bit of a cry and then will settle.
We went to the health centre yesterday and Charlotte now weighs in at 4.45 kilos and she is 54.5 cms long she went through her growth spurt as she was normally putting on 300g for a fornight and she put on 455g this fornight plus she grew 2.5cms, she is nearlly out of her 0000 clothes, some jumpsuits she can still fit into, pants and tops she will fit in to for a while yet, which is great, she is getting lots of wear out of them.

Fee- you Dh sounds so sweet, Happy Birthday for the other day.

Biazar- i hope to be able to chat with you on Monday.

Em- glad to see you are back.

kel- Hope you enjoy your mothers group on tuesday, i still attend mine from Madison was born, plus i go to another one for young mums, however i am the oldest, and we go to play group, we are always busy. I feel sorry for you getting AF so soon, i can not remember when i got it back with Madison, as i wasn't B/F her. I hope i don't get it back for along time.

We DTD the other day, it still hurt l little, but not as much as the first time.
Also i forgot how hormonal you get when you are pregnant, My SIL is 11 weeks, and we were over there the other day, and she cried about everything and then could not stop.

also we got you pixi photos back, i love them, we got them all, cost us alot of money, but photos are worth it.

    Hi girls

What a gorgeous day here in Melbourne, I am seeing two girlfriends today, we are taking Dylan for a walk down the shops and then to a cafe for a coffee, for me that is no coffee for Dylan tee hee! I have my last formal mother group tomorrow which is a bit sad but there is a core group of about 6 of us that have vowed to still catch up and next week we will be meeting at a park or cafe. I am glad because I think I need a mothers group to discuss things with and to just get some adult female company. I hope it works out. One of my friends mothers group is still together and the babies are all over two and now there are lots of second babies too. I hope this heppens with mine. Tomorrow we are also taking Dylan to get his two month needles, aaaggghhh I am dreading it. DH will be with us and our MCHN advised me to give him boob afterwards to soothe him, poor little mite he does not know what is coming. I started getting what felt like the flu on Friday night but it has just manifested itself into a little sniffle thank goodness. Oh and at our appointment on Thursday Dylan weighed 4.9kg and had put on 420g in three weeks, he measured 58.5cm having grown 2 cm and his head was 40cm another one cm. And he is doing well except for a bit of a flat patch on his head has anyone elses babies got one of these and what can I do for him? I am doing loads of tummy time but obviously he sleeps on his back and his head always goes to one side which is where the patch is.

KMH Good luck with Charlottes needles on Monday. We haven't DTD as yer I am too scared cos I am still a bit tender 2 months later.

Fee HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU FOR THE 15TH Your new photo of Cooper is just gorgeous I will have to update mine too. Your husband sounds so romantic you lucky thing, my DH has never done anything like that.

Baiza HAPPY WEDDING ANNIVERSARY Hope you have a great day. BTW I didn't get your email as yet with the link for chatting.

Fraser I am sure I am going to bawl my eyes out too when Dylan gets his needles. Sorry about the roadworks.

Bubseykel It is good that your mothers group has some chatty people in it. Thanks for the mini pill advice I have not started taking it as yet am still thinking about it do I really want to be on the pill again? Maybe we will use condoms or just have another baby, tee hee!

    Chantal Hope Zac is ok.

Mumof2beauties Hope Ky is being a good boy now for his mummy!

    Have a great day all.

Cassie - Danielle doesn't really have a flat patch on the back of her head but she does have a bald ring from where she rubs her head on the ground/matress/pram. The MCHN told me to put her head to the side and then the other side for each sleep so it helps with not having a major flat spot.

Baiza - Happy Anniversary for yesterday!! Sounds like you had a lovely day.

Kel - Yay for Charlotte!! Sounds like she's becoming a great sleeper. And yay for DTD becoming better!! I still haven't got our photos done yet. We've been so busy with other things. I must make it a priority now.

Fee - I hope you enjoyed your birthday. Danielle had a grizzly day on Saturday.

What's happened to my daughter?? She won't sleep through the night anymore!! Saturday afternoon she got really grizzly. She must've known we were leaving her with Mum while we went to the Eagles game - our first outing without her. Mum said she just grizzled about everything. She only had a bottle and a half when she was with her and fell asleep at 6.30pm which is not like her as I'm usually still sitting with her at 8pm. We picked her up at 9pm and took her home. I thought I would be smart and wake her, change her, feed her and put her in her cradle at 10.30pm with a full belly but for some reason at 3am she was awake and wanted a feed so I did. She got up at 7.30am and had a reasonably normal day. She fed normally and had her few little catnap but at 6.30pm she was trying to sleep again. We sort of kept her up until 8pm with dozing in between waking her up but this morning she wanted a feed at 2am! I want my full night's sleep back!! She woke at 6.30 this morning so that's almost normal. Maybe it's a growing spurt again - I hope so!!

On a better note - I've lost 1 kilo this week - yay!! That's 3 now - 13 left to go!! If I keep going this way I'll be there my Christmas but I don't think that will happen. I'm going to treat myself to a set of digital scales this week for being so good (real treat hey!!). The Fair was good - no rain!! I found the wine tasting stand - whoops!! Ken let me go on my own for a walk whilst he looked after Danielle at one of the stands (Ken's Uncle was running that stand). I got to show off my little angel to some people who I haven't seen since I was pregnant. I must have looked ten feet tall with pride!

I better go - heaps to do today - food shopping, gym, vacuuming - fun fun fun!! Have a great day everyone!!
