Don't be sorry star... you needed to know who was trying to join the group ;)
*hugs- Megan, it is terrible when they are like that. Have you tried baby massage?!? Just a gentle rub might be relaxing?!?

Hugs Megan - dont be sorry for venting to us - I know how hard it can be with a baby who doesnt want to settle anywhere but your arms. We had the same problem with Jesse (DS2) and one of the things we tried was a day sleep clinic at our child and youth health clinic. The nurse gave me ideas on how to settle and watched how I was doing it and offered suggestions as well as being able to pick up on any medical issues such as reflux. Might be worth contacting your local child nurse and seeing if they offer anything similar. Our baby carrier also became our saviour as he would settle there no worries. Like Mel said maybe try some gaviscon and see how he goes - it cant hurt him to try and you never know.
take care and let us know how you go
Jem
Sorry ur having a hard time megan. I know how you feel with the screaming.
Lachlan will now sleep in our bed, with me there to begin with. Is this an option? He also loves the sling, but I am finding its too hot for his sling at the moment.
Lachlan has always been a horrid sleeper, but he is now falling asleep on his own on the floor on some occaions. Also, do you let Lucas sleep in a bouncer? Lach also loves this.
Sorry I can't be much help. The weather is playing games with the poor little bubbas of late:(
Hope everyone else has had a good day. Thank god for AC!!!! It's going to be another scorchers tomorrow.... over 40 degrees again. I don;t like going out with Lach on days like this, so it's another day at home.
For those of you formula feeding or comp feeding - Do your bubbas completely dislike water on its own? I can't get lach to drink any. I know that BF bubs get enough from the breast, but as I'm comp feeding when I have to, I am trying to offer him some extra water. He tends to get constipated very easily. I am putting more water into his formula as advised by MCHN, but he still seems to suffer:(
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Hugs to all:)
xxoo
Nicky- I am comp feeding and tried to offer Oscar some water today and he just spat it back out!! It was just cooled boiled water as they say to give but I think maybe I might warm it up a little and see if he drinks it.
Hi girls,
just a quick hello from me - I have been really busy all weekend and then this morning I woke up with a sinus infection. Yuck.
Will be back on tomorrow to catch up on everything - hopefully I'll be able to focus on the screen a bit better as my eyes are so watery.
Hope everyone is well and all those beautiful babies are being good....
Hey All
Jem - I couldn't find one lighter than the grobag .5 tog so I ended up getting mum to make one for me out of material that is much much lighter and has an open weave so heaps cooler. Good luck if you decide to keep looking.
Dani - I love the grobags - Autumn always sleeps better in one, but as you can tell from my message to Jem, they are not made for an Australian summer. It's also a great sleep cue for her too.
Leah - I know what you mean about them changing all the time! I give up and just go with the flow now. With the clothes and the grobag dilemma, I usually dress Autumn in a singlet onesie then put a stretchy Bonds cardy over the top of everything if it gets cold during the night.
Megan - Big squeeze :( If he has reflux like Mel suggested, maybe he would be happy to sleep sitting up a bit, like in a bouncer or carseat, or even a swing if you can afford one (wish I could!) I found it helpful to sing a sweet sounding lullaby of swear words to Autumn when I really couldn't take anymore - helps you vent a little without upsetting them.:shhh::D
Raels - hope you're feeling better. I know that pressure behind the eyes headache - so draining.
Hope everyone has a restful night.
Sacha, the sweet sounding lullaby of swear words cracks me up, he he he. What a great idea, must remember that one. How did the sleeping bag your mum turn out? I might put in a order. I should actually try one myself, since I got a sewing machine for my birthday last year. Just can't seem to find spare time these days. Saying me typing away on BB ;)
Megan, how did the dinner go?
Raels, I hope you feel better soon.
Dani, good luck with the water. I have trouble trying to Jack a bottle at all.
Does anyone have any tips on getting bubs to take a bottle. Jack the little bugger refuses to drink from one. I've tried Avent, new Tommee Tippee one for BF babies, and he still won't take it. Last thursday when I had my surgery done, he went from 5am until 2pm without a feed, as he refused to take one. He does suck a little with the Tommee Tippee but no more than 20ml. Any ideas would be great?
Thanks Sacha and OMG I love idea of the sweet sounding lullaby of swear words. Only trouble is that some days I might be singing nothing but that song hehehehe (not really)!!
I'm trying to remember all I have missed!
Firstly Megan, why dont you call your MCHN or someone GP? To discuss Lucas's screaming, it may be reflux (I have experienced this with Zyon) it could be teething, it could be a milestone where he feels he needs Mummy more or he could have a tummy ache or something causing pains!??? But dont beat yourself up about it & your definately not a sook, babies dont come with rules, books etc so we have to try & work out whats wrong & you will see that in a few days or a weeks time he will settle & there will have been a reason & then you will be saying.. "Oh it was because of X, Y or Z, but then like most Mummies you'll feel guilty you didnt realise it sooner!' Just 1 big circle of guilt this Mummy bizo!!! hee hee..... Baby #3 for me & I still get days like yours & have no idea what to do with him! So dont feel bad it's all part of being a Mummy who loves their baby so much!!! But if you talk to MCHN or someone they may have other ideas? Baby massage is good, even if it's just undressing him & rubbing his body...? Bathing him, or if he wants to be held put a DVD on sit down relax & watch it with him in your arms!
V, flying is easy, done it with all 3 as littlies... although there isnt much room in the toilet for changing nappies, but you make do... Request the bassinette seats, the motion of flying helps soothe babies to sleep too, so Avaleigh should be fine, Just take a familiar toy/blanket so she feels safe & secure, I have always managed to breastfeed on the plane too, wear loose comfy clothing. Feed her on take off & landing to prevent ear pain too..
Mel, how is your foot healing up? I express into Avent bottles & Zy man has drank from these with no problems.. It's the only bottles I've ever used for all 3! I put Zy to sleep in a singlet cloth nappy & a waffle type thin blanket over him, I have recently stopped swaddling & he likes to be snuggled in to the blanket, always pulling it over his face, but not on the rest of his body, it's a loose waffle so he can breathe through it, but when I go to bed I take it off his face, sure enough in the morningt he has it loosely on his face again... But he's back to sleeping alnight so I guess it works for him!?
Um, Ok now I have fogotten everything else... lol.....
Zyons growing well, not sure how much he weighs now but his chins, belly '& thighs have m ore rolls in them than a bakers delight!
Hi everyone
In reply to some earlier posts re shoes - Diana has a few pairs of bootiees (although she lost one bootie already when we went out for a walk once), and one pair of shoes, which are more for decoration than anything else. She wears them for special occasions, but usually kicks them off anyway, so doesn't wear them much as because of how much I paid for them, they are not going to get lost. lol.
In regards to sleeping, at about 3 months, Diana started undoing her wraps so I put her in a grobag. As we only have a 2.5 tog one, I haven't been putting her in it recently as its too hot. I put her in a jumpsuit, with feet and just cover her with a blanket.
I recently updated Diana's site and put up some of our wedding photos under family albums.
Better go. Hope you all have a great day.
Hi all how are you
my hot baby hardly wears clothes. last night at about 10pm it was still 31 degrees inside our house xavier slept in a tshirt and nappy. most nights he sleeps in a singlet suit lately oh and no covers either as he takes them off. I have removed all blankets from his bed and left the sheet but I check how cold he is before I go to bed. As the low overnight here was going to be 20 degrees I wasn't worried about him last night. I even left a fan running in his room all night (but it doesn't blow directly on him).
Feeding from a bottle I tried Xavier out back when he was only a couple of weeks old, and he's such a greedy guts he doesn't care where it comes from. he does like it hotter out of a bottle than if it were coming from me maybe make it a little warmer than you think?? This might also sound strange but I've heard of babies that have never used a bottle because they refuse to take it so their mum tries a cup style and low and behold they drink. maybe try one of the avent or mag mag cups, you can buy the top of the avent cup and it will match your bottles, they are all interchangeable.
water from a bottle xavier doesn't actually drink any of it, he just plays with it in his mouth.
Nicki are you on Bendigo town water? bendigo water tastes awful in summer as they have to filter it more maybe buy some bottle water, I've been told you still have to boil it but it generally tastes better.
Well it seems that over the last week Xave has found is new favorite toy. his toes. He grabs those little toes and hold onto them. It's funniest when he does it at nappy change, certainly makes it easier to clean his bum. I think if he starts to role over he'll get stopped because he's still holding onto his feet.
I am a little nervous today, I found my best friend from primary school on face book and she's in town today and we are meeting for arvo tea. I haven't seen her in like 15 years!! I saw pics of her on the net though and she's skinny, makes me feel a little porky
Did you all know it's hard to loose weight when cadbury keep bringing out yummy food. I love scorched almonds and this year in the jars you can get Turkish delight chocettes, I love those things. That reminds me, Xave was staring at my stretch marks yesterday, I told him they were a gift from him, don't think he understood though lol.
O O O,
I just found down in the marketplace section a thread about cheap swim nappies. I just bought 2 a medium and a large for Xavier as he will be doing swimming next year. They are the re-useable variety which I think even if you can't be motivated to use cloth for everyday use that at the very least a re-useable swim nappy. If not for the environment for the $$ that the disposable swim nappies cost.
Just thought i would share.
Oh Rebecca you crack me up! If that was the case about the stretch marks, then Alessia has been REALLY generous with me! *lol*
It's hot *ugh* I've had the airconditioning on since 9:30 this morning!
David comes home tonight...hooray!
On tank water here, and I always boil before I give it to him, so I dont think its the taste.
On the bottle front, I gave Lach a bottle of EBM every so often from when he was about 2 weeks aold, adn he's never had issues. I use the tommie tippie ones that connect to the breast pump, and htey have the gigantic teats, but he absolutely loves them.
I have found that if Lach is drinking from a bottle he likes the milk a little cooler than from the breast. No idea why.
Lach wears shoes purely for ornamental reasons. I can't see the prob as he is not putting any weight on his feet when they are on, and they are not at all tight. I am sure that the Nurse from prenatal classes was more worried about shoes when they start to crawl walk, and that they had to be a certain type. I only have soft soled ones and they also fall off a bit. lol
Well, Stinker here today, as It is in most of Vic. I have aover 100 mozzie bites all over my body, they are everywhere up here!
I cant stop itching!
We have been using the plug in things from the supermarket and they work a treat... unless u havent turned them on. I guess its better they bite me than Lach. he has only one or two thankfully, but I wish he had none!
Going to purchase some netting this week for our bed and lachs.
Oh and first alst night!!!! Lach slept for 4 hours in his cot on his own!!!! It s a miracle!!!
hes never really liked the cot. I have really wanted to get him in there when I can. 4 hours was awesome I was very proud! Hopefully, he can do a few hours every night for a few weeks, and then a few more, adn then a few more gradually till he sleeps in his cot all the time!
anyway, best be off
have a cool day all:)
Rebecca, do you use cloth nappies? I do... I love them!
Zyon rolls all over the place now... Is annoying when I am trying to change his Butt!
I've just had a look at that site Rebecca and I'm tempted! *lol* Just deciding whether to get 2 mediums or 1 med and 1 large. Alessia is just sitting on 6kg at the moment.
Fran, yay for david coming home, you survived!!
Nicki, yucky on the mosquitoes, and fingers crossed lach starts sleeping in his own bed all the time
Tracey, no I don't use cloth, I had every intention of doing so but got too lazy. plus this boy sure does poo a lot I would be up to my arm pits with nappies. I own one that I figure I can use in emergencies. But I do figure with the swim nappies, your likley to only use it once or twice a week and it just makes sense to buy cloth. I now have a medium and a large on order. I do already have a swim nappy but it's more of just a wet suit material cover and if you don't wear a nappy under it wee gets out but poo doesn't. so now I will hve a couple of options. I also bought me some flushable liners a while ago to make it just that little bit easier to clean up too.
I do a load of nappies (cot linene, clothes anything of Zyons & also nappies of Indah's) ever 2nd/3rd day... so it's not that much washing really! If its'not a full load I throw in my maternity bra's, undies, socks or whatever else of ours to fill it up...
I have a bambino mio pink fishies swim nappy that says 9-12kgs that Indah refused to wear if anyone wants it for $5!? plus postage!
I got some too Rebecca. 3 actually, 1 for Charlize and 2 for Jack, as well as two of the animal ice packs, what a great idea they are, can't wait until the arrive.
Well finally, found our Jolly Jumper and Jack has been in it for the last 40mins giggling and talking away, he loves it. Will be funny when Charlize wakes up and sees him in it. She will probably have him doing 360's all afternoon.
Hi everyone,
Feeling heaps better today.
Rebecca - you are funny, and I know what you mean by the chocolate!!! Hope you enjoy the arvo with your friend. I would be nervous....
Tracey - I use cloths - only need to wash them every third day. Use disposabals at night though and when we go out of course.
MM - I am seriously thinking about getting a jolly jumper. How good that Jack has stayed in it that long! I need to get me one of those.... Hope your foot is healing well.
Veronica - finally checked out your dress. Gorgeous - you are going to be a beautiful bride.
Well Oliver is sleeping and my eyes are getting very heavy, I was up all night blowing my nose. Might go and lay down for an hour.
Hope everyone is well.
Raels, I use cloth full time, we do have a pkt or 2 of disp, for when DH has the kids alone or a family/friend os watching them... not that it happens often... lol
Hi all
I also got a swimming nappy - hot pink YAY!!
Raels - we also have a jolly jumper and Charlote loves it - she giggles and jumps like crazy and I also love it as it allows me to get things done without having to entertain her myself and it gives her a different view of the world..
Mel - I had to laugh at you saying Charlize will probably have Jack doing 360's well that is exactly what Jesse and Oliver (more so Jesse) do to Charlotte. I have to be right there next toher when she is in the jj and the boys are about. Poor girl probably gets sea sick LOL!!!
Charlotte is in bed at the moment and I am trying to get her to sleep - she fell asleep in the car for about 10 minutes and she thinks she has had enough but she hasnt LOL! She is just lying there at the moment talking to herself so I am hoping she just drops off to sleep as I have to go and pick Oliver and Jesse up from childcare in about half an hour so I need her to have a quick catnap. Fingers crossed. I feel so bad sometimes with her sleeping as she gets woken and fed in between all the running around I do with Oliver and Jesse. Oh well cant be helped.
BBL
Jem
Fran - hope you are enjoying having david at home.
ooohhh - sorry have to run Jesse has just woken up. He is on antibiotics for pharangitis (sp) so he is a bit fragile.
Will bbl to finish off
J
Mel - the sleeping bag is great, a million times cooler than the real grobag. Mum would not put her name to it - she calls it a 'prototype' as it was quickly run up one afternoon without a pattern, but to me it looks like something you could sell! Wish I inherited her sewing skills - my christmas present this year is a sewing machine (from DH but I bought it ) I know what you mean about time spent on here - housework is the first to go! The only advice I have for bottle feeding is: Autumn takes one better when not being held - sitting up or lying flat instead and with the teat pushed in quite firmly. Otherwise, I would try moving on to a sippy cup type deal and skip the bottle altogether.
Bec - She doesn't do it anymore, but Autumn started rolling by holding her toes and falling to the side - like a kind of momentum thing I guess. Could be coming up for you!
Nicky - congrats on the cot success! Your plan sounds like a good one.
Jem - I bet Charlotte is more easy going than only-child babies who have their mums wrapped around their fingers, jumping to every demand (yes...I'm guilty..)
So DH left again today and it's just the two of us again - we had a very laid back day today. Autie has started trying to push herself forward on her tummy - bum up, push with feet, pull with the hands, stop head down for a rest, try again etc. so much effort and they never give up! I need a dose of get-up-and-go from my daughter I think.
Does anyone else measure the months in lots of four weeks? For instance, 20weeks is 5 months? Or do you do it by calendar dates, as in the tickers? Just curious.
Hi Ladies
Just popped in quickly to have a read and say hi:) Its been a loooong day and im exhausted, so im off to bed.
Goodnight:)
OMG Zyon fell asleep at 6:30 last night while we were having dinner & Dh popped him into the hammock... at 9pm he was still asleep so I showered & gave him a dream feed & popped him back in the hammock, he is just starting to stir now! I am so so in love with him when I get more/enough sleep!!!
I know the girls used to move head first on the floor to get around like I'd lay them on a blanket or under the play mat thingy & they'd move up head first as such, but Zyon always moves down wards, his bottom half is alsways off the blanket/mat!!!
Hi Everyone! Sorry I have been MIA lately. Lucas has started sleeping through so it’s been awhile since I’ve posted. I’ve actually been on facebook too when I have any time for the computer, and low and behold you are all over there too! I’ve requested to join the group and I’ll start adding everyone today if that’s ok! My name is Melanie and my picture is black and white and I’m pointing in it so you recognise me!
Tracey ~ Ha that's funny, must be a boy thing!
Tears~ TTC again, that’s great news!
Star ~ Hope you are feeling ok and have had some time off.
V ~ Not long to go, very exciting!! Will be back to look at your pics.
Nicky ~ Lucas is FF and I’ve always given him extra water as he suffered from terrible constipation. He won’t drink it from a bottle so I usually just drip it into his mouth. It’s a bit easier now it’s hot and he’s teething. He will hold onto the bottle and bite the icy cold teat and will swallow some this way. Still I’m lucky to get 10mls in.
Megan ~ How is Lucas? I lived in Melbourne for 3 years so I could only imagine how he must be coping with heat there. Being from the NSW mid north coast I could never get my head around how the hottest part of the day is in the afternoon. It would be hard to get bubs to sleep when it’s still so hot at nighttime.
Star ~ Lucas has been very clingy with me lately too.
Mel ~ I will have to backtrack to read about how you went with your surgery. Hope all is well for you and the kids.
Fran ~ That’s so romantic that you and DH have never been apart, how did you go with the bed all to yourself?
Blue ~ MILS! It must be hard for you. I lost count how many times Lucas’ great-grandmother told me how there were no ‘titty’ bottles and ‘pipes’ (dummies) in her day last weekend, and that was bad enough.
Dani ~ Hello and welcome to you and Oscar, I had Lucas via emergency c/s 22.7.07 four weeks premmie. Look forward to getting to know you both more soon.
Hello and lots of love to everyone.
Melanie xox
Morning Everyone!!
Not long now until my wedding!! Jason's step dad pointed out last night that its going to be 3 weeks on SUNDAY! OOOOO Its getting close!! I made Jason put on his suit last night (I've put pictures up on my gallery - HOT!!! HAHA and excuse the face hair! lol) and I asked him if he is going to be nervous and he said that he already is nervous!! This coming from the man that never gets nervous, didnt even get nervous skydiving! I'm not nervous, yet! Too busy to be nervous!! My schedule before the wedding is crazy, but I guess everyones is crazy before a wedding!!
Well I better get going. Got to change and feed Avaleigh before getting to the gym. Hopefully she hasnt fallen asleep.. BBL to do personals
Good morning everyone,
Veronica - your man looks very good in his suit. I can't believe you're not nervous yet! I'm nervous about my wedding and we haven't even set a date yet!!! ha ha....But like you said, you're probably too busy to be nervous.
Tracey - well done for using cloths full time. I just find that if we use them at night Oliver will wake up too much - he hates being wet. And how nice to get all that sleep. Oliver is the same with moving downwards. He almost ends up doing a complete 360 off his mat!
Sacha - good on Autum for trying to move along like that. Yes I wish I had some of that get-up-and-go as well! Or maybe I just need some get-up-and-get-off-the-computer!!! Oh and I measure the months by the calender dates. Would get a bit confusing the other way I think.
Well after a couple of weeks of having the rice cereal I have started mixing a little pumpkin into Oliver's food. When we first gave it to him I got DF to feed him while I had the camera ready, expecting maybe a funny face from this new taste. But he just smiled and opened his mouth really wide for the next mouthful! What a clever boy. His big brother hates pumpkin but other than that he is one of the best eaters I have ever seen. Loves all his vegies and anything really. I have never had a problem with getting him to try new stuff so I really hope Oliver is the same!!!
Hi girls! I have been a bit MIA for the past few days - had a couple of really bad days with Tom, and developed an addiction to Facebook. I have read thru all the posts but brain too frazzled to remember everything!
Veronica - i cant believe your wedding is so close. I remember before my wedding my diary was just booked up with things to do every single day so you are like superwoman doing it with a baby!
Somebody mentioned about giving bubs water (sorry cant remember who) - i brought Tom a thing from the chemist called the Fresh food feeder (Tommee Tippee brand). It has a handle and little mesh pouch on it that you put food inside and the baby sucks on it. I have been putting ice in it and Tom has been sucking on that. When he gets older, you can put fruit and stuff in it. He is a little bit unco at holding it so i have to help, but he seems to like it.
I think Tom is starting to teethe because we have had a nightmare couple of days with him. I thought that it was a reaction to his needles but now his top gum is all bumpy and red. If he gets the teeth in the place where the bumps come up, he will look like Dracula. i have just been giving him Panadol and a cold face washer to suck on. Is anyone elses bubs teething? Any advice from any of the supermums on here? If he isnt getting teeth, i dont know whats going on because i have even lost my fabulous little day sleeper. Nights arent too bad but days are a different story:cry:. Yesterday he screamed for two hours straight. When DH got home he put him in the pram and took him for a walk so i could have a rest.
We had mums group yesterday and went to the cry baby session at the movies - Tom took the cry baby part literally but apart from that, it was quite fun. i cant remember the name of the movie but it was the one with the Rock in it. It was a good one to watch with kids because it wasnt too taxing on the old brain!
Better be off - i have my niece today because of the teachers strike so better go keep her entertained. Touch wood - Tom has been down for 1 hour so far. i really dont want cranky baby today!!
V - i just looked at your gallery. Jason looks gorgeous in his suit. Is it a pin stipe? i absolutly love your dress too. Just showed my niece (age 7) who loved it but is concerned about how does the dress stay up? Am about to sit her down and give her a fashion lesson!
Em - I have the same addiction to facebook! The fresh food feeder sounds like a great idea with the ice in it. Would be good for teething as well. I thought Oliver might be teething too. He really chews on his thumb at the moment and anything else that he gets in his hands - including my nipples when feeding - ouch! I know that the teeth can move around in their gums for ages, I remember my firstborn being like this for months - you could almost see the tooth but the next day it would be gone. This went on from about 4 months when finally at exactly 9 months old he cut his first one, then the next day another! All bubs are different and it's really hard to tell I think....maybe try a teething ring or some of that natural teething relief. Have you heard of that? I can't remember the exact name, somebody else on here probably knows it though?? Hope he feels better soon.
Raels I added a puc of Zyon in the s[ecial Berry Plush AI2 nappy with embroidered Geckos, tooo cute !!
Tracey that is the cutest thing!!! Where do you get those?
Hi everyone!
Thanks so much for all your posts when i had my melt down the other day. Things just got out of hand and nothing was going how i wanted it to. I think maybe the control freak part of me is causing havoc because with a baby things just cannot be controlled and i have to accept that. But gee things can be tough sometimes! I just cannot decide what to do with his 40 min day sleeps...do i accept it and move on or put in a big week of settling and crying which i dont have faith in working anyway! At least i seem to have got him back in his bed for now.
Sorry i haven't caught up with personals for ages i am just having trouble remembering what i read at the moment!!
Hope everyone is going well..can someone let me know how to get onto that group that was made up on facebook for us????
Megan, I would just except it. Both my babies have only ever been cat nappers during the day. Charlize now sleeps longer but Jack still only ever sleeps for 2 cycles around the 45 min mark. But that suits us fine, as we are always in and out, so several short naps works well for us. Glad your feeling better though, I hate days like those.
BBL ladies.
BTW, just weighed Jack and Charlize. Charlize has put a little back on, which is really good she is now at 10.41kg, so she is nearly back onto the 30th %ile. And Jack my little piggy is now 8.35kg and that puts him just over the 90th %ile. I have Charlize needles on monday, so will have them both properely weighed and measured then.
Wow Mel, Jack is a little piggy!!! Just kidding. Oliver was 6.5 kgs when he had his needles a week ago.
Thanks Mel, I tend to agree...i have just gone with the flow the last two days and got him up when he wakes and put him back when he's tired again. He seems to be up and down all day but we have both been alot happier!
Lucas was 7.2 at 4 months!
Em - I hope Tom has been better. Lucas turned into the devil after his needles so somehow i reckon it has an effect on them for a little bit!
Just a quick questoin for the brisvegas gals.
we are gowing up there on fri and I was wondering what you dress them in at night. I have a 1.0 tog sleeping bag, and usually put Kaetlyn in a short sleeved vest.
We are staying in motel style appartments at indoorpilly. is it cold there at night but hot in the days? I really have no idea what to pack and also how much to pack.
Can anyone give me some suggestiosn for ones with bubs that have been away?
I am starting to panic about the whole trip  esp seen as she has been really bad and whingy today.
I am a hopeless packer, I tend to take three times what I need 'just in case' Maybe you could start by imagining a typical day and all that you would use for sure. Then you can add extra stuff as you think of it. What about breaking it down into routine times? eg. sleeping, eating, playing, bathing, etc. The weather here is difficult to judge right now but probably does tend more towards hot. I use a .5 grobag or my other even lighter one with just a singlet onesie, though it sometimes gets cool towards morning. I personally haven't used anything long sleeved for quite a while. If you had a light kind of cardigan for her, I would say that would do for the cooler times. It's so hard when it's someone else's baby to say what you would miss...
