Nay, I don't see why you can't mix and freeze the rice. I give autie rice pasta which I cook then freeze in bags and just snap off a bit to mix when I'm choosing the other veg and meat to defrost. Haven't given wheat pasta yet.
Mel, you'll have a great time all dressed up in new clothes and kid-free for a bit. Hope you do manage your sleep in. Haven't had pork roast in ages...mmm, crackling...
Jem, good news on the eating. Hope she keeps it up for you and that she doesn't have a sore throat. Autie's sleep is out the window again too, I'm really feeling it today - hope it passes soon so we can both get some proper rest.
I'm getting a new car!I've been driving an old commodore since we had autie as my car didn't have four doors. It's been fine I guess but I'm definitely looking forward to something a little newer where all the buttons work! Hopefully, we can organise it this week while Dan's home. Gives me something to look forward to at least. I've been dragging a bit lately.
Autie pulled herself up against the safety gate yesterday. She was most upset when I sat her back down because it was on the tiles and I didn't have time right then to sit and help if she had problems. No more attempts today though.
Has anyone tried the Snugtime blanket sleeper suits? Tog rated like sleeping bags but with legs? I'm thinking I might get her one for winter as she doesn't like the restriction of the bags anymore, but they have sleeves and I'm not sure about the whole overheating thing.
Hope everyone is having a relaxed weekend.![]()

At the same time, I can't wait to see her running around and talking to me and wondering what her voice will be like and what she will be interested in (sigh)
Happy 8 months Jack
I'm so scared he will choke as he always tries to put the whole lot in at once!
