Apologies for no personals, just too tired to go through them all, but, as always, loving reading all your posts.
Took Liam to the MCHN today, little champ has put on 260g since last week - not quite as impressive as Lachlan's weight gain (Nicky, you must be doing a super b/f job), but I was pretty happy with it, although not overly surprised given the amount of time he spends feeding. We then went to do a little bit of shopping, but, like a true boy, he cracked it, so it was a quick trip. Going to have to work on his shopping endurance, as he's not going to be able to avoid it whilst he's hanging out with me
Also got myself enrolled in a mothers group that starts in a couple of weeks, which I'm happy about, because the next one being run by the centre doesn't start until October, and I'm not sure that I could wait until then. Once Pat goes back to work next week I think I'm going to go a little stir crazy being stuck in the house without adult company during the day, so now I've got something to look forward to each week for a few weeks.
Other than that, we've not been up to much (I know, surprising!).
Quick question - is it just me, or do other people also kind of miss being pregnant? I'm really missing my belly sometimes, even though I'm loving having Liam, if that makes sense. I don't miss all the pg symptoms like heartburn, cramps etc, but I was really enjoying the last few months, and I think I'm a bit sad that it finished earlier than I was expecting (I know, stupid, as it was only 1 day early, I just was fully psyched that I wouldn't see any action until 41 weeks). Plus having it end in a c/s makes me sometimes feel sad too, cos I'm worried that I won't get a "normal" birth opportunity now, and I really wanted that.
Anyway, that's it from me for now, going to try to get a couple of hours sleep before Liam wakes up for a feed.
