    in a super happy place!

Hi girls! Finally have had time to sit down and post and my computer has decided to have a fit so hopefully this works!

Jas - fantastic idea on the birthday list! I cannot believe they are all turning one. This time last year we would of all been little waddling pregnant ladies - except Mel. What an amazing year it has been!

Mel - So glad Jack had a good day for his birthday and that everything went well at hospital. Haven't had a chance to say how sorry I was that it happened. They are just so quick at this age - yesterday Tom found a can of flyspray (have no idea where he got it from) and sprayed it. Thankgod it was pointed away from his eyes but I just couldn't believe how quickly it happened.

Nicky - are order prehaps? Certainly sounds like it to me. I know absolutely nothing about temping etc - but I do think 4 faint tests are a pretty good sign. I never had a strong positive on mine and I was definiately pregnant. Let us know how you go xx

V - glad you are enjoying work. Daycare is so expensive - excellent news about Jason's mum looking after Avaleigh. So much nicer to have money in your own pocket!

Jan - I am drooling over your cooking..

Megan - so nice to hear from you! I have been wondering how you were going. So sad about the funeral and that your friend won't have counselling. I guess all you can do is be there for her if she needs you. I had to laugh about Lucas loving milk. Cheeky monkey.

I think I have run out of time for any more personals.. A quick update on how everything is going here - birthday preperations are full steam ahead. We are having two parties - god help us, but thankfully both only small. The night of T's birthday we will have all DH's family here and then the sunday after, have all my family (they live a few hours away) and some friends. I haven't really thought about food too much which I need to do. I keep adding to the present pile - naughty I know but can't help it. Yep, I have pushed my luck here - better be off to play with the boy. Will try to come back later.

Quick question - what does everyone give for lunch?

    Hi Girls

Jas- Thanks for the birthday list, its a great idea. Good luck testing tomorrow

Mel- Thats great that 2 of Jacks fingers are healing already

Sacha- WOOHOO for Autie taking her 1st steps

Sarah- How exciting to be getting a new car, we are thinking of selling ours (xr8) for something smaller coz of the fuel costs

V- Cant wait to hear your test results... Thats great that you have family to look after Avaleigh while you work, I would love to find some casual childcare work again but the cost of putting Tayah into childcare would not make it worth it...

Nicky- I had a high temps and then a drop when I was pregnant with Tayah, then the day after my drop it went back up again. So stay positive and il keep my fingers crossed for you

Em- I hear you on adding to the present pile, everytime we go shopping I seem to be buying more presents but its so hard not to.

    Hello to everyone else

Jas, sometimes I would say I would love to have a few more, 4-5 total, I always thought I would growing up. Then some days, I know that 2 is my limit. I guess DH has decided for us that 2 is it, he is definate that he doesn't want anymore at this stage anyway. But he is 40 next year so I can sort of see his point of view. But I feel totally blessed with the 2 we already have, so I will adjust, for now anyway

Em - most commonly we do avocado on bread/toast, vegemite on bread/toast, cheese slice (the Bega cheese slices, sooo yummy, better than Kraft IMHO). Today we did baked Beans on toast for the first time, not a great hit, but I'll give it a few more goes before I give up. Sometimes soup - pumpkin or vegie w pasta (so I guess minestrone..) or a chickpea one that I do. The pumpkin flavour is particularly enjoyed. Am thinking of trying hommous on bread, although personally hommous is not for me, so I won't be upset if liam also doesn't like it. . Also, cream cheese & tuna sandwich is on my list of things to get around to trying. And I try to get some natural yogurt into him most days, mixed with cooked up apple. I use the Jalna brand of yogurt as I reckon it's the creamiest & yummier than the other natural yogurts I've tasted. Also, I found a preservative free dried mango slices for a treat (from Health food store), which I cut into 1cm squares, eat most of myself & occasionally give to Liam. He has also taken to dates quite well, which make a very handy snack for when we're out & about, I cut each date into 6-8 pieces so that they fit straight into his mouth, rather than being spread everywhere. I've also come across some snap freeze dried apple slices that would be good for a snack, but a bit like the mango, Liam hasn't seen much of these yet...

Apologies to everyone else for no personals tonight. I wasn't planning to do anything other than a quick read through, but Em asked about food & I couldn't help myself. Will be back tomorrow though, when it's not so late...

    Hi girls,
Just thought I would update you all and let you know that I am no longer pregnant. Obvisouly the little one did not implant. AF arrived this morning with cramps which is very unusual.
Anyway, not too big of a deal. Serves me right for testing early! LOL

Thanks for all your wishes and good luck JAS!!!! I hope you get a BFP today!

    Hugs all

Jas - good luck with testing!! I hope its a positive for you.

Well I feel like adsolute $h!t this morning. I am not sure if it is because I slept in til 7.30 - I know not really a sleep in but it is when you get up at 5.30 every morning! So i woke up feeling weak and real headachy. And we didnt have a good night last night cause Avaleigh brought home her first cold from daycare. I got home at 5 last night and she looked soo tired, I wasnt sure if she had slept or not during the day and Jason said daycare didnt say anything. So I gave her a BF and she went to sleep for about 2.5 hrs and then woke up all snotty and with all gunk in her eye. So cleaned her eye up, gave some nurofen and we played until 9.30pm when I finally managed to get her back to sleep. She is OK today, is sick, and just gave some nurofen. Isnt it soo funny how much babies love that stuff??!! Her eyes light up every time she sees it!!

We got the kmart toy sale in the letter box yesterday and we are going to go and put a whole heap of toys on sale!! This is what we are going to have a look at..
    Sing & spin alphabet zoo
    learning drum
    counting maracas
    animal sounds guitar
    pots $ pans
    laugh & learn piggy bank
    pull & spin caterpillar
    laugh & learn puppy
    learning bird bath
laugh & learn cookie shape surprise
    press & go train
    gobble & go hippo
    activity table (stand up kind)
    sort & learn car
    bright lights ball
    busy ball popper
    my little pony
    flipout sofa
    kid's sofa chair
    royal step stool potty

LOL! There are a heap of stuff there!!! I dont think we will be getting everything, we'll get her the real good ones and then whatever we dont get we can tell friends and family to get if they ask us.

Anyway, I better go and spend time with my daughter. These days off are going to be precious now!
