oh bummer Bec!
Just jumping on quickly so sorry for the lack of personals once again
This morning at 5.00am Jett woke up (which is unheard of in this house), and instead of crying for food or attention, he decided to try and help himself!!! He wiggled over to me and got in as close as he could and started searching. He still had his dummy in, but when he thought he may have found the right spot he would do some vigorous sucking!!Not the first time he has done this either. Last time it was later in the morning, but he wriggled over to me (imagine a worm cos he is still wrapped at night)
and this time not having a dummy in he latched on to my arm and started sucking away!! And both times my boobs have started flowing and I have ended up with wet patches on the bed!!! His aim is still no good obviously, but
mg: helping himself!! He'll never get there though cos I have to wear a bra to bed to stop the leaks!
Hi all
LOL at holding ice-cream for ransom![]()
Squidipa, with the ice-cream maker its basically just cream and then depending on what kind of ice-cream you want, add chocolate or berries or fruit or vanilla etc. You can make frozen yoghurt too, though I've only heard that from someone who doesn't have an ice-cream maker so![]()
Jazz has been an absolute horror, our nights are terrible, she's been waking at least 3 times a night, crying, won't settle without the boob no matter how hard I try (I spent an hour last night rocking her, patting her, walking around with her, with no luck). Could be a wonder week, we're just hitting 19 weeks I think...
Ummmmm, what else? Dunno, my brain is mushy... I'm onto my second coffee, but I'm no more awake than I was when I woke up! *yawn*
Going to SILs for Christmas lunch. Can't think of another way I'd LEAST like to spend my day, except that she has a pool. Thats life though right? At least I don't have to cook or clean up!
Got a physio appointment on Jan 5 (did I say that already?).
Gonna go read some BB threads and then maybe clean something... BBL
ETA: PMSLMT, Jazz does the same thing (she's in our bed full-time now since her multiple wake ups started two weeks ago), rolls on her side and just starts looking for it LOL I have red patches where shes tried (but nothing has come out of my arm/cleavage LOL). Sometimes she gets it right (I sleep naked generally) but usually she needs a little nudge in the right direction.

MT - LOL! It's scary that they are slowly becoming more independent!Veygas tends to pull on my shirt if I'm holding him and he's hungry!
Leash -for mushy brain hun! Hopefully Jazz settles down for you! Good luck witht he physio! Bummer about christmas, but yay for the pool!
Bec - 3 words babe - COPY AND PASTE!! If I do a long-ish post, I always highlight the whole thing and copy it, so if BB decides not to play fairly, I can always just hit "reply" again and then just paste the message in again!
Squidipa - thanks hun!
oh and
HAPPY FIVE MONTHS VEYGAS(for Sunday! lol!)
Better get these kiddies breakfasted![]()

HAPPY 5 MONTHS VEYGAS!!!!!!
hi all
happy 5 months for V on sunday MM - and I LURRRVE your nappy - will have to PM you about something later
(I say later cos I'm at work - supposed to be doing an account - and wasting time on here instead - better get off though)
Boss got me a bottle of malibu for xmas - what a star - gotta love him.
Right.
Better go.
BYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
*mwah* to all
Oooookaaaaay Mel, I'm intrigued!
Malibu?? I'll see you tomorrow chicky!! LOL!! Yummo!
Kel - wooohooo for budgets! Don't men ever get the idea that they will NEVER get their own way when it comes to renos??? I already have a list of them for my new house!!Gotta love being prepared! lol!
Anyways, I'm addicted to making nappies now - got another one just about ready to go under the sewing machine!
I am ECSTATIC!!! My nappy passed the poo-splosion test!!!!Don't ya just love how they have to "christen" EVERY new nappy????
ETA: I added photos of V wearing the nappy on FB - same link as before!![]()
Hey all
Thought Id jump on quickly while the man is asleep.
MM - Well done on making your own nappies, thats great!!
Kel - funny you mentioned about bubs being thinner cause I was thinking that just this morning about K. I was just about to give him a bath and had him facing the mirror (he loves looking at himself now) and thought K looked smaller too .... weird!
Question for all of you - I tried him with a bit of mashed up pumpkin on Sunday afternoon and yesterday morning he woke up blotches on his face. Dunno whether it was just a coincidence but I'm thinking maybe it's a sign he aint quite ready for solids yet. The spots look like bites but they are really red. I noticed this morning too when he had a bottle he developed a rash![]()
He seems fine, is happy enough and isnt running a temperature so I'm not too concerned but yeah was just strange to see. What are everyone's thoughts? he has them on both cheeks and then a couple of patches above his eyes and a couple on his forehead. I thought hives maybe???
Anyways gotta run and get myself something to eat!
HOPE EVERYONE HAS A MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
Sash -could be a lactose reaction?? My DD was like that whenever she had formula - had to change her to lactose free formula (she still has intolerances) ... but did you just give him mashed pumpkin, or mix it with something??
Then again, like you said, might just be coincidence ... or heat rash ... Sorry, I haven't really been much help have I???![]()
supposed to be helping the Bear with dinner but just popped in to say
HAPPY FIVE MONTHS VEYGAS!!!!!
and MMfor your awesome nappy making capabilities!
MM: nappy looks great, i could never do that!!
Squidipa: thought g was thinning out a little, getting longer but not fatter. still not sure about the blotchy legs? asked my midwife friend and she didnt have any ideas!?
Leash: hope jazz is better tonight and you get a goos sleep.....
...talking of sleep, better think about bed myself. G had a bit of a shocker last night aswell, she is getting so mobile in the night that she wakes herself up, squashed against the sides of the cot or rolls over on to her tummy and squarks till i go in and right her!! four times + two feeds last night, luckily managed to get a sleep in this arvo.
AND!!!! Grace slept in her cot for all of her day sleeps, she was still sleeping in her rocker in the day but would wriggle around so much and get in the most stupid positions, she was abit shocked at first and it took me a while to settle but i think she was ready, no screaming...woohoo!!
anyway....off to bed.
hi everyone thanks becka for asking ya friend. i am thinking he is over weight for his length. But wont be doing anything about it till i seek medical advice.
i decorated my kitchen and table with stuff and it looks awesome hey and DS3 gets back from day care and was so exited and said "for me, thank you mom, you made me very very happy. You a good boy mom"
i have with hubbie's slight help lol finished off doing a little jumper thing ya know those tramps with the handle. My hands are sore i worked up a sweat and i was pulling and pushing with my legs oh man do anyone of you own one or have had to put one together. there were legs flyig everywhere but finally its done. YAY![]()
i am buggered, lots and lots to do today buy yay ds3 in daycare till 12 today so gotta drink my coffee and roll.... oh stuff it... im staying in my pj's. Josiah wont sleep with blankets or sheets it disturbs him anyone else having this issue?? As for the restlesness in feeding ive started to hold his hands carefully on his tummie and feed him and this helps him not to disturb him self.
cook cook cooking today and some more wrapping and light cleaning HOPEFULLY and some sewing. Gotta scoot love to all and merry Christmas. I am looking forward to our special Christmas with Josiah.
hope the prep for xmas is going well for all, we are just having a quiet one, probably last year we can get away with it!!
Squid:G gets very restless sometimes when feeding, she grabs handfulls of my skin and hits herself in the face, and the slightest noise distacts her, when at home we sit in her room where its quiet and i give her a blanket or wash cloth to hold, gives her something to concentrate on, tends to work.
Oh im so excitied about tomorrow, havent been this excited since i was a kid, hope everyone has a fantastic christmas with their little ones....and bigger ones!![]()
