Nicky - how is your belly going? I love looking at your facebook pics - you look great. Big claps to Lachie for sleeping in a big bed. Clever boy. No way would Tom do it yet. And I noticed the name in your sig... Love it! What a gorgeous choice.
Jan - I love Morning Star. One of my closest friends got married there and it was gorgeous. I posted in much more detail regarding her decorations for the reception in my lost posts, so will come back over the next few days to explain more. Bridal expo was a nightmare.. Lots of aggressive pushy women that had no regard for the fact I had a pram. Not even sure how much my sister gained from it. We just come home with piles of phamplets! Tom and I spent the last hour sitting in the car because he just got so overwhealmed by all the people. That was the best part of the day - he 'drove' for the whole hour and played with the radio and I layed on the backseat and read my book. Bliss! How is job hunting going?
Sacha - have you been in the paper yet? They obviously chose Autumn because she is gorgeous! Love the cubby idea - Tom has a tunnel which he loves but I think a cubby (and a trampoline) will be next on the list. The box from our new tv is getting a good work out by him anyway. We haven't done 18mth jabs yet - I keep forgetting to make the app but also I am a sooky lala and he is so much more aware of the pain!

Jan, the winery looks gorgeous. Very lush and GREEN in the photos LOL I think it's a good idea not to have fish - I just think it's a really hard thing to get right when you're cooking it for a large group (and I don't like bones either) What about the cake? (Maybe a secret?)
Em - Oh hooray, you made it! Autie loves to 'drive' too. Dan puts her in his ute when he's got it parked in the backyard and she'll play happily for ages, the horn is her favourite, along with climbing the steering wheel. Not in the paper yet, but I did as Jan suggested and called the paper to get some copies of the pictures. They are sending me the proofs so I can choose, so that's nice. I think I will do the jab while Dan's home this week if I get around to it. He always holds her, then I get the comfort cuddles after. She didn't cry at all last time with the three though, so I'm crossing my fingers it will be ok this time too.
And yeah, where is everyone else?

Jack had his needles couple of weeks ago, and all I can say is I'm so glad it's over for a couple of years now. He didn't cry much, but I hate it. :(
My doctor was amazed at his vocabulary, he can probably say 50+ words and can hold a conversation with you, it's basic but very cute. He is also a Thomas the Tank Engine whizz, she was gob smacked at this one, he can name and point to Thomas, Percy, Edward, Diesel, Gordan, Emily, James, Stantel, Harold the Helicopter and Fat Troller, it's amazing. If you point to Edward who is Blue like Thomas and say Thomas he says, noooooooooooooo Edward. Very clever.
But that's enough gloating by me.
Jan, when is the big day again?? I can't remember but it must be getting close, it's so exciting reading all about your plans. Brings back great memories.
Nicky, your doing a great job coping with the morning sickness and running around after an 18month old. And love the name choice. And good boy Lachie for sleeping in his Big Boy Bed, I'm sure he won't look back now. Jack loves his bed.
Em, I'm so paranoid about letting my kids play in the car, my nephew when he was 2 some how managed to take the parking brake off and roll his Dad's car into the side of the house, no damage to the house, but a few $100 in damage to the car :doh: But he a hewdini (sp?) so I'm sure most other kids are safe:) I hate crowds, especially when they are so rude when your using a pram/stroller, book and cheofer (sp?) sounds much better.
Sacha, I love the Avocado green colour, one of my 2 favs, I wanted the same colour but didn't have enough time to get dresses made, and I had a size 8 and a size 22, so it would have been perfect to pick the material and let them choose their styles, but had to go with a more minty green, as they found a style that they could get in their sizes. Oh well they still looked nice. Do you have pics of your wedding? Are they of Facebook? I would love to see.

Well, day 2 of the official job hunting process, and I have to say I reaallly dislike it. I'm so bad at finding jobs, I find it really difficult to do the "upsell". Which is crazy, because I'm really good at helping other people. But it is only day 2, so trying to stay on an even-keel with it.
Liam has developed an obsession with phones - EVERYTHING can be a phone, it gets picked up & put to his ear & he says "Hiya'', then does a really fake laugh, then says "Bye Bye" & hangs up. It's hysterical. We have his 18month MCHN appointment tomorrow, which I'm really looking forward to cos I want to see how much he weighs & how tall he is. Not cos I'm expecting anything unusual, I'm expecting him to be mr 50 percentile kid, but just cos I'm curious.
Anyway, enough from me - going to see if it's cooler than 300 degress outside so that I can open the house up a bit.

How are we all handling this heat? It's horrible here, well over 42 degrees and my a/c is really working overtime. Who's idea was this whole being pregnant over summer thing. LOL Should have thought about that one a bit better. haha
Em belly is going well! I think there's been a little growth lately, but not tonnes, which I should be happy about! hehe. I am getting lots of jabs all the time in the groin.

Jan good luck with the job hunting! I remember being unemployed for not quite 2 weeks at one stage, and I was having a massive melt down thinking noone would want me! hehe. Of course, there was nothing to worry about, but my mind tends to tick over in funny ways.
Lachie has the same phone obsession as well, picking everything up and putting it to his ears. It's so funny. He won't say Hi or Bye though. He doesn't like talking on the phone much. All the best for your Appt tomorrow:)

Oh and thanks heaps for all of your lovely comments on the name we have chosen for our little one. It was actually going to be for Lachie if he was a girl too. It's a name that popped into my head the night before I tested with my very first pregnancy back in July 06. Unfortunately, that pregnancy didn't continue, but I have always kept the name Allira just in case. Never thought I would get to use it. We had been tossing up other names before our morph scan this time around and I wasn't convinced I was going to use it this time, but when the sonographer told me I was having a girl, Allira came straight into my head.
Just a quick question. Do your kids mind the heat? It tends to make Lachie quite uncomfy and a little on the feral side a times. I find his temper is alot shorter (haha so is mine!!), and he's actually quite clingy, which I can't stand when I am sweating away.

Nicky - a quick answer to your quick question - Liam isn't bad in the heat, although today & the other really hot day we had he was in daycare, in airconditioned comfort. He does seem to get a bit tetchier, and his eczema flares up a bit, although it's hard to know if this is not also brought on by a bit of teething that's also going on. And he drinks water like it's going out of fashion, starting to make me wonder about diabetes, although I'm pretty happy that he's so keen to drink the stuff, it's a healthy way to be.

Jan, I'm a complete FB rookie and I don't mind admitting that it's a bit confusing for me atm - all these people's pictures popping up, friends of friends of friends...etc. :dunno: But, hooray! where I once had no friends, I now have 5! I guess making it known that you're actually on there helps... LOL
Strangely, I cannot look at the word 'friends' atm and not see it as really weird looking. Like when you say a word over and over, and it loses all meaning.
Nicky, I added you as a friend. Now I have 6! Ha Ha somebody sssstop me! You poor thing being preggers in that kind of heat! Autie seems to handle heat ok, except for being a little less energetic maybe, and a bit more eczema.
I am really enjoying the MCNs, even the washing! (especially the bit where they're all clean and fresh off the line) I have tried some different brands but am in LOVE with Ittis. Now if only I could get proficient at Little Squirt use...:rolleyes:

Well, anyway, it's nice to have a face for some of you guys now. Not everyone was as I pictured. I can't remember if I told this already and I can't be bothered going back over posts so forgive me if I did. I think I've mentioned how obsessed Autie is with balls. The other night she was up later than usual and the blind was open. She was just watching tv, nearly asleep when she noticed the full moon out the window. Well, you've never seen someone so excited - pulls me to the window pointing and saying 'ball! ball!' It was a cute moment and I keep remembering it with a big smile.

Now to Facebook - yay to some more of you being on there. It is good to put faces to names isn't it. I must confess that I believe I have put in a friend request to another Jan Skelton.. opps :redface:. I have found 'our' one now and maybe the other one will just ignore my request.. Sacha - you can do PM's on FB. Up the top it says Inbox, click on that and there is a part to 'compose message' which is a private message that no-one else can see. I do find it that you can see the comments of other peoples a bit strange at times. Especially when people can read the ones between me and my sisters. We have our own language at times! I have only got one wedding pic up at the moment (profile pic). We *think* we have lost the disk with all our photos on it so will have to sit down and scan them all so I can put some up. The one that is on there is just one taken by a friend, not a professional. I love your pic of Autumn in the boat - she looks like a little starfish! And "ball ball' is the cutest thing ever.
Nicky - Tom is definiatley not coping in the heat either. We have had a few massive meltdowns over the past few days. I thought he might have been turning feral until I read your comment about Lachie and realised that's what it was :). Poor things. Tom's main problem is he can't go outside either. He hates being copped up but its just too hot. I made sure he had a good run around this morning before it heated up too much.
Jan - good luck with job hunting! I hate interviews. Thankfully for my job now it was a chance meeting then out for coffee and a sort-of interview which is exactly my stlye! Hope you are getting lots done on your child free days.

Politics is really not for me, but I must admit, I'm quite interested to see what happens with Obama. It genuinely feels like some things are going to change, and I think America needs that. LOL Sacha - I've just come back on here cos FB is giving me a headache - there's just too much stuff to look at. I have had a look through your photos, and all of your wedding looked just beautiful, I love your table decorations, the green is just divine.
Raels - good luck with oliver starting in FDC. I found it really hard to leave Liam for the first little while, but after a couple of weeks started to be in the swing of things a bit, both of us really, and then I actually kind of enjoyed my time at work. Still love picking him up though, it's the thing that I most look forward to on his daycare days.
Em - a mystery is solved - now I know where you live.. One of my grandmothers lives in Moe & the other just out of Thorpdale, so I kind of know your neck of the woods. Notwithstanding the Moe reputation, it's some of the most beautiful country in the country IMHO, especially round Thorpdale. And I agree - there's something about Obama.
Mel - hope you had a lovely anniversary.
Well, today I went stationary hunting, and I've found the colours I love for the invites, but the price....OM GOODNESS, the price....So I'm going to take my cards around to a couple of other places & see if I can't source it at a cheaper price but the same stuff. Anyway, hard to describe, a dark metallic-y grey-green, a much lighter green & then a pearly white sheet is the combo, and I'll use a grey ribbon to tie it all together. Very hard to describe, but I'm quite excited because now I can use this to start somewhere with BM dresses. Which I'm now thinking will be the darker green ( I know, so surprising), but with a grey wrap of some desription.
Now, FB experts - is there a way I can post things that say only non-attending interested parties might be able to see? Cos then I could give you much more detail as it comes to hand, maybe including photos if that can be done.
Oh, and getting measured up for the dress on Friday morning...

Ok, thought it was about time I posted again. I have been reading everyday but for some reason just never knew what to say without being a total downer because of the breakup. Well.....downer no more.....we are back on!!! :dance: Loooooooooooooong story but in short we are working out our differences and becoming a family once again.
Lexxen turned 10 yesterday, can't believe how quickly that went! I just put some photo's on facebook of his day. Strange to think that in a few years time I will have a teenage boy on my hands. They scared me enough the first time around, not sure how I'll cope with one living in my house!!
Oliver is doing really well, not many words here still, just lots of sounds and chatter but he is trying. I ended up getting his 18 month shots, wasn't going to but gave in when I started to remember how bad chicken pox was as a 9 year old. I had to call an ambulance for Oliver just before xmas. I was decorating our tree and he had climbed onto the couch and fallen off face first. I ran to him expecting him to cry out but when I turned him over he was turning blue. It seemed like forever for him to take a breath but when he did it wasn't a big one and he still didn't cry. He then went all limp and floppy so I called 000. They came and checked him over, he was fine, just seriously knocked the wind out of himself. I probably didn't NEED to call them in the end but ah well, better to be safe I think!

Jan - Your wedding plans sound so exciting. I really hope to get married one day, I've been engaged three times :o Maybe one day I'll make it down the aisle *sob sob*. My sister is getting married in exactly two months and I am a bridesmaid, very excited about this. She lives in Dubai but is having the wedding back here near Byron Bay. With FB you can send private messages like you did tonight and attach photo's as well. You can send the message to more than one person just like on here.
Sacha - Really nice to put a face to the name! LOL at the short black hair - I have been many colours in my time but never black. I love your photo's on FB and gosh Autumn is a stunner! No job yet, I have no idea what I'm going to do. I am a bit fussy too as I only want to work two days a week and maybe two nights. I will get Oliver settled into care first and then see how I go, but I will definetley get something just for a bit of extra money. I am feeling better about putting him in care now after meeting with the lady today. I know he will enjoy it. And yes, he is a very busy little boy, never stops!
Mel - You are looking hot girl! Your photo's on FB of your visit with your sister are great. How did things go with Jack at the hospital? He is so clever to be speaking like that, I bet it's so cute.
Nicky - How's the ms going? Gosh you poor thing. The heat doesn't do Oliver any favours either, unsettles him so much, to the point where he just wants to be held but that just makes it worse! I too love the name you have chosen for your daughter, very pretty.

Well as for me, I am still breastfeeding. I change my mind on an hourly basis whether I should wean or not. I always said I would be happy to go until he was 2 but at the moment I am not having a good time with it all. The constant pulling at my top/dress/bra is so frustrating. Then there's the biting - holy moly that hurts. Some days he will only have two feeds then others he will want to be attached non stop. I probably sound like a bit of a whinger I know but I am confused!!! I would love it if he self weaned - say next week ;) - but then the thought of giving up also makes me quite sad. Now that his Dad is back though it has certainly made things easier. During all the upheaveal I got into a bad habit of feeding to sleep ALL the time because it was simply easier for me. Now though I feed him at 7 and send him to bed with his Dad at 8.30 and he's fine with that, just drifts off to sleep.
Well I am getting very tired and this post is getting a bit rambly I think.

Like a few others i havent posted for a few weeks.. I have kind of been reading but I have a VERY demading 18mth old dat keeps interuptting me when i try to read ANYTHING..
Things are ok here Bayleigh has had a fever for the last few days and we couldnt work out why but then last night we found out why.. He has a rash all over his tiny body like a heat rash so im thinking he has just on of those annoying viral rashes going round....
I have him booked in for his !8mth old needles next week and his 18mth old check with the health nurse. Cant wait see how much he has grown. LOL even tho i know it isnt much He is still under 10 Kilos by my scales he is only 9.2kg.. I cant seem to get enough food into him.. He eats ALL day long..
While everyone is talkign weddings i will talk too EVen tho DP and i arentoeven engaged YET(i will get my way ) We went and had a look at a few venues in Melb while we were down there for my dads wedding. I have my heart on getting maried at the Melbourne Zoo.. I have a friend there that helps organise the weddings so he took us thro the rooms and gardens where we can have the service and so on.. It is awesome so when we do get around to getting engaged and so on i think we will get married at the Zoo....
Em- I like obama too there is just something about him, I HATE politics but i watched most of the Inaugrial yesterday...

Raels that is fantastic news! I'm so glad you are feeling positive again. OMG how scary for you to have to call an ambulance - thank goodness Oliver was ok. These kids really know how to give us a good fright huh? I would definitely agree it's better safe than sorry. I don't think the paramedics mind at all, especially when it's children. I can remember falling off the cross bar on my swing set (which, of course, I shouldn't have been climbing on) right flat onto my stomach when I was about 6 or so and totally winding myself. It's really painful and scary when you can't get any air in. I think it's awesome that you are still BF but I understand the back and forth feeling you must have. I guess you will just know when you are ready to stop. Autie suddenly noticed my boobs in the shower the other day and thought they were quite amusing - makes you wonder how long they remember the BF for.

YAY YAY YAY for Raels, that's such great news that you're working through things together, it's so lovely to hear you sounding happy. I'm with you on the BFing, although Liam doesn't bite he does do the pulling & tugging at my bra strap, mostly when he's tired & emotional, but gee it can be annoying. I'm probably a bit like you, pretty happy for it to keep going, but sometimes it would be nice if they decided to self-wean, instead of making us do the hard work. I've been a bit naughty in the last few weeks & taken to wearing an underwire bra occasionally - so, so comfy, until I got mastitis a few days ago, so I'm back to wearing the ugly maternity bras again. Not bad mastitis, cos I got onto it early, but still uncomfy for a couple of days. And wow that Lexxen is 10, he's a gorgeous looking boy, (they both are). I hear you on the scariness of having a teenage boy in the house. My cousin has one who's about 14, she reckons the biggest change is that they just stop talking mostly. Oh, and they get interested in girls, which is too funny. I would also have called 000, I think you did the right thing. Better to be safe than sorry, it would have been so scary, poor little man.
Sarah - the Zoo would be an amazing place to get married at. Hopefully your DP will get himself organised sooner rather than later ;) Sometimes men can be so slack. I hope Bayleigh gets over whatever is bugging him, it's no fun when they're constantly demanding your attention, even if it's warranted.
Well, we did our 18 month checkup today - Liam is 11.65kgs & 83 cms long. And his head circ is 49.5, which is how long he was when he was born, which is just fun trivia for the family to play along with. So height/weight makes him mr 50 percentile, which is what I expected, given that that's where he's been all along.
No wedding stuff today - but I do have a job interview with an agency tomorrow, so fingers crossed they like me & I like them, it would be such a weight off my shoulders.

Jan, the invites sound lovely - very classy. Can you possibly do them yourself? I bought some rainforesty transparent paper online and backed it with two shades of green, each slighter larger than the one before. We printed the invite on the transparent with the computer. From what you describe, it sounds similar to what you'd like. It worked out really inexpensive, though a little labour intensive (that's what BM are for LOL) I can try and find the site with the paper if you are interested - they had heaps to choose from.
Sarah, LOL yes, I did wonder for a minute who you were as you came up as one of Em's friends. Then I clicked but I still checked with Em just to be sure! Is Bayleigh feeling any better? It's hard when you just know there's something but can't put your finger on it.
The zoo sounds like an amazing place to get married. You would get some awesome photos I imagine.

I have a grumpy, easily-upset, tantrum girl today. Her cheeks look a bit swollen though, so I'm thinking molars. On the plus side, I'm getting sooooo many kisses! And she has learnt to pucker up a bit, so they're a bit less on the sloppy side.
You might have seen my post in the general discussion - I'm looking for a cup holder that can go on the carseat. Any suggestions about where to look? I'm fed up with the tannies that happen when she throws her drink on the floor, then wants it again. :rolleyes:

Jan - Head circ here is 47 cm, exactly what Oliver's length was too! That's good that you got the mastitis sorted early. I have never had it myself but I can only imagine that it's not nice. I wear underwire bras sometimes but not for long periods, but sometimes I just want that little bit of lift and extra padding that mat bras just don't offer!! The bfeeding is a funny thing after all this time. I absolutely love it and feel so lucky that I can do it, but yep, it's getting a bit much sometimes. I spoke to an LC today at my support group and she told me that when a toddler is getting close to weaning they will have a time when they will feed a LOT, so maybe that is what Oliver is doing, who knows. I'll just keep going and follow his lead I guess. Good luck with your interview.
Sacha - You know what, I think the paramedic that I called did mind a bit. He seemed a little annoyed about the whole thing. I didn't worry though, main thing was that Oliver was ok. I wonder too how long they remember breastfeeding for? I heard a funny story today from one of my bfeeding buddies. She was at the pool with her two year old who is still feeding and he pulled her boob out and offered it to another child who was upset!!!! I thought it was very cute but mind you if it was me I probably wouldn't have been laughing!! Not too sure about the cup holder but I'm sure they would have them somewhere. Have you googled??
Well Oliver slept for a whole 10 minutes today but went to bed at around 7.30, an hour earlier than usual. He is loving having his Dad home, we all are. Oh and he is completely obsessed with The Wiggles!! I am reliving them all over again as Lexxen was a huge fan too, so I know all the words :redface:!!
Well it's bed for me, have to cover twenty school books with contact tomorrow and it's more time consuming than you would think, so I'm going to try and get up early and do it before the kids wake up in case Oliver decides not to have a day sleep again.

So sorry...I posted my message about the two lines on the stick and then disappeared..things went a bit crazy :rolleyes:
I went to doc Mon who did preg test and she was worried about the very faint line given i was probably about 5 weeks. So ordered hcg blood tests for tues and thurs to see if levels were rising. Then Lucas came out covered in spots, he looked awful the poor thing so he was off to doc on wed. The outcome of that was possible rubella (not confirmed) so more stress for me and more blood tests ordered to see if i was immune!! So after being at doc everyday last week, my hormone levels are rising, i am immune to rubella and lucas' spots have gone...so things looking up! Then this week i went to get Lucas out of bed and he had thrown up all over himself sometime in the night and then threw up his breakfast. I am convinced he was trying to get out of going to childcare! He is proably still screaming there as we speak! They had to drag him out of my arms this morning! Fun! I did get him into a new one and then the first one i was booked into ended up staying open..grrr! Not changing him again though! Oh and amongst all that my computer got a virus which his why i haven't posted!
So things have been CRAZY :o
I must go and ring and see if lucas is ok so i will be back again to catch up!!
Megan, thats great news your levels are rising. I wouldn't be worried about the faint line. Some women conceive later in there cycle, so there levels wouldn't be as high, they might be a week or two behind their EDD from last menstral cycle, if that makes sense, ;) Sorry if it was a mess, lol.
Wow this is funny how some of our babies are measuring the same HC and the birth length. I'm to scared to see how big Jack's boof head is now. Just for laughs let me go see :) OMG 52cm around the head, but he was 54cm born, so that's not too big right :rolf: No, he is adorable. And in proportion now, 12.8kg, and 87cm long.
Raels, I'm so happy for your family. I bet it feels wonderful having him at home again. Best of love and happiness to you all. And Jack's hospital appointment went great. We are hoping that maybe in 2 months time when we have our next appointment, they might be able to tell us, that he won't need to wear the gloves anymore or the splint at night time. They don't bother him, I just wish he didn't have to wear them, but know it's for the best.
I think it's great so many of you at still B/F. In hinsight (sp?), I wish I didn't stop. But my doc felt a lump at the side of my boob, and wasn't sure if it was BF related or a lump lump. So she said when I stop B/F she will have another look. Well didn't that scare the begeeses out of me. So within 2 weeks Jack was on Cow's milk at 14 months. And thankfully within a month the lump was reducing in size. So I'm happy with 14 months, I miss our bond but at the same time I enjoy my freedom (I hope that doesn't sound selfish:( )
Well, havne't I had a colourful past 24ish hours on BB. Someone thought I was having a personal attack on them, which I wasn't and have now told her I wasn't numerous time, and apologised if I made her feel that way. Well that thread got closed, another opened, this time personal attacks were made to me, even though she claims she is just saying goodbye. I'm sorry she feels this way, but there is only so much I do to say sorry, and try to explain it was by no means directed at her. So I feel it's best left alone now. Still dissapointing that you can't try to explain to people to try and look at things from someone else's point of view, without them getting all fired up, judgemental and vindictive as a result. I don't know........... I'm lucky I guess I can let somethings roll off my shoulders.
What is everyone up to Aus Day? Nothing much here. Going away for 2 nights on Tuesday for our anniversay for the other day. BTW thankyou so much ladies for thinking of us. It's means a lot to know you all care. Had a great day just the 4 of us. DH even had flowers delivered before we went to the hossy. My favs. lillies, carnations and roses. Ummm the smell is great...

I just read that thread - okay, I searched because I was really curious, and I have to say I just can't see why she went mental at you, I don't see how your post was a criticism of anyone in the way that she was making out it was. Some of these posters just make me shake my head - fancy getting so huffed up at someone you don't even really know, who's just sitting at the end of a computer. Like, why care so much?? Take a chill pill & build a bridge I say. There's been a rush of people "leaving" - the cynic in me sometimes thinks these things are done for the drama & the protestations of others not to go.
Anyway, must go & pick up my little man. Apparently he fell off a chair & bumped his head today, as you can see I'm obviously over-concerned, leaving him there until after 4 to be picked up. I've been running around like a chook today, so needed a little sit down & some lunch before I have to run around with him again. Terrible mother I am ;)

Em, I can't believe the chaos that thread has caused either. But by the sounds of it from other threads, it hasn't been the only one (personally not sure what they are talking about). But from what I have read, I feel a little better knowing that most of everyone knows it was never a personal attack and that those who got offended took things the wrong way. Pitty though, it ever got to such a point.

We were going to the Maccas to use their play gym and to have a coffee, but DH had to take the car this morning, so we are again house bound for the day as it's wayyyyyyyyyyyyy to hot to venture outside for a walk. So looks like its Dora, Thomas, ABC for us today. Might do some more baking. DH can blame my flabby tummy on his needing the car so much, as I stay home and bake yummy sweet things instead.

Mel, how horrible has this weather been? Dry heat is so much easier to cope with than this constant humidity. We aren't doing much for the long weekend except for Dan's mum's 60th which is on tomorrow. We are all putting in to get a photographer to come and take photos of all the grandkids together as that's what she's wanted for ages. It's a surprise and I think she'll love it. Not to mention we'll get some good photos too hopefully. The breast lump must've been scary. You didn't need a biopsy then? Getting to 14m was better than I did, though it was pretty much Autie just not wanting me anymore (sniff,sniff)

Jan, how's Liam's head? Autie ran to kiss Dan goodnight last night and tripped falling straight onto the corner of the coffee table leg. By the time I'd picked her up she already had an egg with a straight line bruise running down the middle of it on her forehead. Dan barely took his eyes off the cricket saying 'she'll be right, she's tough' - and she is, but I was a bit cranky at him for that. Luckily she has a fringe so it won't show in her photos tomorrow.
Em, c'mon - Igglepiggle is ok! Much better than a Boobah. And the Pontypines are waaaaaay more annoying and boring. I personally prefer obsessive compulsive Macca Pakka. Is he supposed to be constantly stoned? :dunno:

Mel - I'm starting to think this whole everybody leaving BB is a bit of joke. I agree with Jan - I think they want the drama and the prolonged fairwell. I don't think I would ever do a goodbye thread - firstly no-one would reply and secondly I'd do the big dramatic "I'm leaving" then Tom would turn feral and I'd have to come back on looking for advice..

Jan - your invites sound beautiful.I remember when I looked the speciallty shops where way more expensive so I just got the ideas from them and then ordered the stuff in at a stationary shop (like an Officeworks) and got the ribbon etc from a craft store. I had a bronze card with cream ribbon on the front and metalic pearl for the invitation part. I made every one by hand - I shudder to think how long it took me now but I loved it at the time! In regards to your F/B question about PM's, you definiately can. I currently have a very long one running with my sisters and the other bridesmaid - lots of dress talk and planning and arranging goes on in it!

Ahh Sacha we posted at the same time I think! I think I'll have to change my ticker comment - seems everyone loves Iggle! I am completely sick to death of him. And Tom every 5 minutes coming up with the dvd in his hand saying "Ille Ille Mummy?" (I'm not sure how to spell that but he says Iggle without the G) and "Uppy Uppy? Peeeesssee". How can a mummy resist? Don't get me started on children's show because I seem to have a lot of ill feeling towards most characters. I hate Boobah - my boss gave T 2 dvd's the other day.. Urghh. Em, I totally agree with the Night Garden and Yogabbagabba. And that guy is very queir!!! On speed or something. Bummer my kids like it though. Same with the night garden. well, I left for a day, and none of you missed me, so I'm back again hahahahaha.
What is this yogabagabba show? I only switch the TV on long enough for Liam to see ITNG, and now not even that cos it's not on at 9am anymore (relying on taped eps, how sad is that). When it was on I shamefully switched it on 5 minutes earlier cos the Pocoyo show amuses me, think it's Stephen Fry's narration that I like. Liam was given a DVD of Brum for Christmas, but I've been too scared to let him see it more than a couple of times, in case he develops another obsession. I think I'm delaying the inevitable though, he adores cars, EVERYTHING is a car atm (beep, beep, brrmmm, constantly)
Anyway, I'm not really hanging around, I really just logged on to check my emails to see if I'd got an email from a DJ that I'm hoping to book. I'm sure I'll be back though...

My brother and SIL were so disappointed with their DJ. He was an annoying idiot that wouldn't play the songs they specifically gave him, and made stupid comments into the microphone about people he didn't even know. Hope yours is a much more accommodating kind of person. We hired a jukebox - no matter what someone entered in, it was something we had chosen - whoohoo!

Mel, thanks for your birthday wishes. The party went very well, the kids all got their photos done, plus we got individuals and family shots so looking forward to seeing those. I was SO happy with Autie's older cousins. They did a fair amount of babysitting and included her in all their games so I wasn't constantly having to follow her around. Did you say you were going away this week? Where to?
