Oh I'm all excited because I'm first but I bet one of you girls posts at the same time .

Lis - poor you! I completely feel for you. Tom is a huge fuss pot with most foods lately and it's driving me nuts. He had a screaming fit last night too and go put to bed having not had much tea at all. I felt terrible but he refused to eat. He won't even eat pasta and would exsist on crumbed chicken and mashed potato if he could.
I brought a book called "Eat right, don't Fight" today. I haven't had much of a chance to look through it but if there is any handy hints then I'll let you know. One of them was offering the main meal for lunch instead, as some toddlers are just over it by dinner time. Could that be her problem if she's happy to eat at other times?
I'm hoping the food thing is just a phase too. A very frustrating one at that. I guess as long as you offer as much healthy food as possible during the day then that's all you can do, otherwise it turns into a stressful horrible situation.
Actually Lis - I am just flicking through the book and there is about a chapter or so on toddler's eating. I am happy to photocopy it and send it to you if you like. Just let me know.

Sasha - so many people have said the same about the dog ad. unfortunately ours is not the waterproof variety. If only . It is covered by our house insurance but after ringing them yesterday, it's going to cost us $300 in excess, our insurance will go up by about 10% next year and we have to get a certificate of proof that the camera cannot be repaired. So lots of running around. I think we'll just buy a new one and not worry about insurance. Although it was an $800 camera, its only because we brought it a few years ago. Now there is so many around and they have high megapixels etc, so we should be able to get something for the $300 we were going to spend on insurance.

Jan - hope Liam is ok after his fall. I walked outside today and Tom was standing on top of our outdoor setting table. He has obviously realised he can climb onto the chairs and then onto the table. I'll never be able to leave him alone again

Well, I booked T in for swimming lessons today so that should be fun - now I just have to find bathers for me. I attempted to try on bikins today - not a good idea when your topless and your toddler decides to lay on the floor and escape out under the door. Grrrr!
