Yey Tracey, that is great news. Just in time for Bali too. Is it still just gaviscon he is on? I'm thinking about trying some instead of the mylanta.
Rebecca - Xavier is such so cute!!
Tracey - yay for Zyon. No wonder you feel terrific today - 8.30 until 3am in great.
Mel - lot of house selling vibes coming your way. I hope Charlee and Jack are both feeling better.
Charlotte had her longest sleep last night as well - she went from 10pm until 5.35am so I am pretty happy with that and Oliver and Jesse slept until 6.30am and 7am respectively so we are pretty happy here!!
Wow...yay for sleeping bubbas last night! Alessia also decided she was going to do a long one...10pm til 5am...trouble is, once I feed her again at 5am, she doesn't want to go back to sleep until around 9-10am!!! I guess I shouldn't complain!
Thanks for sharing those pics of Xavier Rebecca, he's gorgeous!!!
Hi Mums,
Tracey – it’s so good to hear that Zyon has improved finally. And YAY for the long sleep – you must feel like a new woman, and he probably feels pretty good too. Here’s hoping it continues.
Rebecca – Xavier is such a cutie, you’ve got some gorgeous photos. I can only ever seem to get cranky face photos of Liam, yet he can look so angelic in real life (hmm, slight bias there I think). And another YAY for the long sleep in on Saturday morning, lucky thing!
Veronica – sounds like your GP visit was really positive. Good luck with the sleep training – I find it so hard to be tough with Liam, but keep telling myself it’s for the greater good. And a few days to establish better routines & sleeping habits is probably way better than months of the alternative.
Zofia – how scary that Diana fell off the couch. It’s so easy for these things to happen in the blink of an eye. I’m sure she mostly got a shock though. The toilet training is very impressive, she’s a very clever girl from the sound of it.
Jem – another one with a long sleeping baby. I’m starting to be really envious of girls who’s bubs sleep more than 4 hours
Mel - I think I might have said this before (either that, or I definitely thought it), but it’s so good to hear that things are improving for both Jack & Charlize, and by definition for you & your DH. And good luck with the house selling, hope that you’ve had some good luck with that this weekend.
Fran – I know that you’ve been having lots of B/F trouble, but you must be doing something right for Alessia to be growing so much. LOL for having to buy another bath to fit her.
Well, my little whinge for the day – I’m sick of not fitting all my pre-pregnancy clothes & no longer fitting pregnancy clothes either. I’ve been reduced to about 1 pair of trackies, everything else is either too tight, or I spend all my time hitching them up – not a good look. And because we have such erratic sleep patterns, getting out to buy anything more is just too complicated at the moment.
Anyway, have pushed my luck a bit here , better shove some food into my mouth before he wakes up again, which given the grunting noises I can hear probably isn’t that far away!
OMG Jan I hear you on the in between sizes ATM. It's very annoying isn't. I can't wait to get back to my normal size and go shopping for some clothes. I haven't been shopping for normal clothes for like 2.5 years.
Fran, yey on the big sleep, that it great.
Well, when you think things couldn't get worse they do. Now both my bubs have a cold. Charlize is worse than Jack. Jack just has a runny nose, sneezing and sounds very conjested. But Charlee is still suffering from light fevers, runny nose, conjestion, coughing and last night she had a big spew in bed. But slept through it and it dried all over her and her cot things. Poor little thing, I don't know how she slept in that room last night, I almost got knocked for a sixer when I went in there this morning, it stunk of spew:doh: I just about to take both of them to the pharmacy to see if there is more I can do for them. Charlize is taking Dimatapp, panadol, nurophen, and saline drops for her nose. And for Jack I'm just using the saline drops as I don't know what I can give him while he is on the Zantac and Mylanta. Hopefully the pharmacy will be able to help out more. FIngers crossed it doesn't hang around too long and doesn't come back. And Charlizes eczema is still causing her alot of grief, not to mention her teeth too:cry: I hate seeing them so sick.
hi all
tracey yay for zyon sleeping!! thats great
jemima sounds like you had a good night too!!
and fran you too??
well it appears good things only happen in 3s the rest of us appear to have missed out, serves me right for re-joiceing in friday night. xav went to sleep at 8.30 woke at 2.30, 4, 7 and 8.30? not sure about the last natha got up. hungry every time so hopefully this is just a growth spurt.
Hey everyone!
Its great that everyone bubba's had a long night!! Avaleigh didnt! She was waking up every 4-5 hours I think.
Just a quick on from me. Am feeling tired from a busy day. Cant wait to relax around the house tomorrow.
Night!
Mel, Zyon is having the infant Gaviscon 2-3 times a day & just 1 satchel a time even though it says 2 as I express about 150ml during the day & add a satchel to about 50ml of EBM in a bottle then I offer him breast & he has 1ml of Zantac in morning & again at night...
That's it & he's much happier, he doesnt sleep much between day feeds but last night it was 6hrs from last feed & then 4.5, so that's so much better than the 25mins we were lucky to get!
I hope Charlee & Jack get over their colds quickly!!!
Mel - sorry to hear that Charlee & Jack have both got colds, the poor things are still in the wars. Hopefully they'll be better in a day or so, and you get some healthy happy kids back.
A little woo hoo for me - had my 6 week post natal check up today( delayed a week, cos the OB had to do an emergency c/s last week), & all was good, but the best news is that he'll let me go for a VBAC next time. I was really worried that he'd be an automatic c/s OB, so I am just rapt. On top of this, Liam had a really happy day, with lots of smiles & some really good feeds, and good sleeping. Not long sleeping, but compared to the last few days, it's been really good. It's so much fun being part of the Mummy club sometimes :)
Hi all, not much to report today, hope the days are improving for those that need it and that for those having a good time that you continue to.
Hi to all the ladies we haven't heard from for a while, hope your all going ok.
HI there,
back from wagga in one peice.
Jealous of all you girls that have babies sleeping through the night :(
Having a few small Bfing issues, and sleeping at night sucks, but hopefully this will get better with time.
Not much to say, not so sure people wanna hear my dribble.
Have a good day.
Nicky,
ofcourse we want to hear it all!!!
We had Maddy's school Rock Eisteddfod last night & Indah was in awe of all the kids dancing, but Zy wasnt impressed as he was all snuggly & warm then it was freezing outside & then stinking hot in the Auditorium, then freezing when leaving again, but we were home at 8:30, I got DH to bath him whilst I got Indah off to bed (she was all hyped up !) Then I fed Zy & he went to bed, he woke at 1:30, I fed & changed his nappy & he then woke at 7am!
Gosh my boy is just so different now!!!
I hope everyones going well, 4 more sleeps til we are off to Bali!!!!
Hi all,
Its me, Flossie, I hope you all remember me! I have been absent for such a long time since Olivia's birth and I am very sorry!!! Its been crazy, still healing from my tear not sure what is going on there - going to see my OB again on Monday. Its driving me crazy and I get a bit down about, its nearly 10 weeks since Olivia was born and I didn't think it would take so long to recover - nor did DH - we are itching to get back into 'the swing of things' and its quite depressing and making me down.
BUT, Olivia is a gem. Although the breastfeeding didn't go to plan she is such a good baby. Last night she slept from 8:30 - 5am, then got up at 8:45am this morning and she is back asleep.
Mel - so sorry your angels are sick, I hope they get better soon. This up and down weather around the country doesn't help!!
I am going to check out all your pictures today and see how your little ones are growing.
I am starting to ween my 'express pump' off my boob hahaha I have bought some formula and hope Olivia likes it and I don't have much trouble with it. She LOVES her food so I hope not, I just don't want her to get constipated or something.
Hope all of you are well
Floss xx
Hi everyone
Just to let you know that Diana is okay after her fall. She is as bright, happy and alert as ever.
Rebecca - re potty training - I started it when I noticed a pattern, that she would nearly always wee after I took her nappy off. So I started holding her over the potty at nappy changes and went from there. It wasn't hard. I imagine it would be different for a boy, but I'm sure you could apply the same principle, i.e. look for a pattern and work with it.
Welcome back Nicky and Flossie.
Hope everyone else is having a good day. :)
Hi All
Nothing much to report here.
Baptisim gown is gowing really well, invites are out today.
Kaetlyn has been a little unsettled the lst couple of days- I think she is going through a growth spourt again and during the day is feeding about2 hourly so my nipples are a tad bit to sore at the moment.
I am also starting to express a little each feed for Aaron so that he can do an odd feed for her (and to give my boobies a little rest!!).
From those of you that express, how much do you save per feed and also how much do you express at a time? I want to make sure there is milk left in my BB for the next feed IFYKWIM???
Hape a good day everyone....
I get about 200ml per breast & freeze it in lots of 180ml usually... But if I leave it in a bottle to feed soon after I have it about 150ml... He usually drinks it all.
I'd express about 45mins -1.5hours after a feed, there will be milk & enough time to make more before next 1 too...
Just quickly popping my head in. I have to express and dump all my milk before Alessia wakes up! (I had some medical tests yesterday & as a result couldn't breastfeed for 24 hours)
Sara You work out how much milk Kaetlyn needs based on her weight & how many feeds she has in 24 hours. Might be best to ask your MHCN when u see them next. I've been giving Alessia 110mL at each feed. She's currently 4.25kg and has 7 feeds per day. I tried to express 1 hour after I'd last fed her & if I knew there was less than 1 hour before her next feed, I wouldn't express as I don't have a massive supply. HTH :)
Hi to everyone else!!!!
hey everyone!
I hope all is well. Things are good over here. Avaleigh, myself and the dogs have been on major walks yesterday and today!! Yesterday we walked to the beach, it was about 30 mins to get there and 40 to get back (Had a major hill to walk up!) and today we went to the next suburb over to walk around the lakes. Not sure how long it took to get there and back but we were out for about 1.5hrs. The dogs dont know whats hit them!! I wonder if they are still going to be getting excited about going for walks knowing that we are out for so long! LOL The good thing is, I have lost 1/2 a kg, so thats now 1kg in a week!! Hopefully it keeps coming off and I am looking great for my wedding. :crossfingers:
I've had a bit of success with Avaleigh and her cot today. I put her down at midday, she slept for a while but then woke up so I put her mobile on and she fell asleep for a lil while until she lost her dummy. So in went the dummy and mobile back on and she is still nice and quiet!
I bought her an electric swing yesterday and she loves it! We were having dinner last night and she got in to her unsettled mood, so we popped her in it, turned up the speed and within a few minutes she was asleep!! First dinner in peace for a while! YAY! But then I made a mistake of bathing her and OMG was she screaming cause she was so tired!! Wont be doing that again.....
Well better go, movies is on foxtel that I want to watch.
Hi All
Nicki of course we want to hear!!
Tracey, so good to hear Zyon is doing so well now. I hope everything stays good for the trip to bali. Thanks for listing the info on expressing.
Hi flossie, Glad to hear your going ok, I hope the healing finishes soon for you.
Zofia, glad diana is ok, I imagine it would be difficult with a boy, because I think he would manage to spray across the room and not in the potty  but at least if your watching you get a little warning ;)
sara, I was wanting to know the answer to that as well, big 6 weeks this friday, so I need to start experimenting so that i'm prepared to return back to work next year.
Fran thanks for providing your info on expressing too, it's good to hear everyones experiences.
Veronica, yay on the weight loss you will look fantastic for your wedding. I seem to have plateaued, but I must admit i'm not trying and I'm eating way too many naughty foods. Glad to hear avaleigh is getting better in her cot, and that the swing works well, I looked at one in the target catalogue today and had to tell my self we don't need one, 'cause seriously I don't think he would like it, it would be a waste of money.
Well we have little to talk about, being a very sleepy little man this week, can't complain. Our new favorite time of the day is around 4 am, Xavier likes to smile at me then, and I know he's smiling at me 'cause there is nothing else at that time of the day!!
Counting down to the end of these 6 weeks on Friday, don't think the growth spurt has happened yet though. Might try to weigh and measure him and see.
Well heres to everyone having a good day and night.
Veronica - do you put Avaleigh in her cot during the day? I am thinking of the transition of bassinette to cot and just hope Olivia sleeps the same in the cot than her bassinette. She is very tall and will be wanting more room soon....she is 59.5cm....9cm more than when she was born!!
Yah! on the weight loss also - when is the wedding?? I have been lucky and my weight dropped overnight it seemed - back into the size 12 and I wasn't even in them before I was pregnant...maybe over 18 months ago I was. I have to be careful when I finish expressing as I will probably put it all back on  I don't.
So exciting, a friend of mine had a baby boy yesterday, 2 best friends just had the 12 week scans today and another friend is due in 2 weeks....babies everywhere!!!
Rebecca - Avaleigh loves the movement so I think it was a good investment. But I know what you mean about buying stuff you dont need! ARGH! I bought a HAB that I've only used once and this other thing that vibrates!! LOL Waste of money!
Flossie - I've just started putting Avaleigh in her cot last week and its been a bit of a mission!! Avaleigh doesnt sleep much during the day as it is so she wasnt happy going in there last week, but today she seems a lot happier. I'm happy that I have started the transition now cause I thought it was going to be a lot easier!! My wedding is on the 16th of December, so not too far away!! I have 10kg that I want to lose but would be happy to lose 5kg.
WOW, Veronica, I use my HAB, almost daily, sometimes it's a few times each day, but I wear Zy & push Indah in the pram...
I have lost 9kgs & have 5 more to get to a weight I'm happy with...
I too hadn't used my HAB much until last week, now I'm using it daily.
I did the shopping with it on the other day and these ladies pointed and giggled because he looked so cute tucked in there. I also find that it puts xavier in a good position, and he quite often burps when i put him in.
I have had ppl say "OMG your still pregnant!" whilst wearing Zy in the HAB, as his hair is black & so is the HAB!!!
What is a hAB?
V - yeah I think I might try her in her cot on Thurs as I am home all day and see how she goes. I don't think I will like it as much as the bassinette as the bassinette is easier to put her in and out.
DH just feed Olivia and I walked into the room and she was holding the bottle all by herself!! haha bit young I know but she likes to 'help' us out when we feed her. I took a photo so will post it on the website soon. She is asleep now which is great. She feel asleep on me while I was keeping her upright while digesting.
Have a good night all - I am going to have a nice long hot shower and wash my hair....I love it when DH comes home :)
Hi Flossie, great to hear that you and Olivia are doing so well. Sorry to hear about the tear though. It must be longest 9 weeks of your DH's life:p And I think HAB is a hug a bub baby sling/carrier ??????????????
Tracey, so glad to hear that Zyon has improved so much. Fingers crossed he only continues to get better. Only a few more sleeps now.
Rebecca, hope cute that Xavier is smiling at 4am.
Veronica, well done on the walks. But I don't think you have to worry too much about losing too much weight for the wedding, you look wonderful to me, and that by going from a shot taken a couple of days after you gave birth;) The wedding is in December isn't it?
Blueflower, when is the christening? I'm still to organise this for both our kids and me too as a matter of fact:redface:
Nicky, hang in there it all gets easier, just might feel like forever. What did you go to Wagga for?
Fran, when do yo uget the results of the test?
Zofia, sounds like Diana is setting the standards re the potty training, maybe she can give my 15 month old some advice;)
Well for us, things are still really hectic. Both kids still have colds. I woke up yesterday with one too, so we are all miserable. Charlize is staying at my mums tonight as we had another open house. Had alot of interest, so fingers crossed something comes of it. Going to take Jack to the doc tomorrow about his reflux meds, as he is refusing to swallow the zantac, so he is not improving. Plus I'm starting to get worried about his cold, it sounds so hard for him to breathe. I use an aspirator (sp?) that seems to help, but he just scares me to hear him struggling. Charlize is still suffering from the eczema too, and she is nearly finished the tube of steroid cream, so don't know what do next, maybe a stonger cream, probably another trip to the quak for her too, we seem to be paying my doc's wages at the moment, just lucky for us she bulk bills for the kids.
Anyway must be off and bath this little guy.
Take care.
Hi everyone
I am supposed to be writing my assignment rather than being on BB. :p Have to get on to that next.
Diana has had a good day today. She has been very active and playful and vocal. She is beginning to make these cute cooing noises. She is 12 weeks old today and was weighed today at 5.05kg. Woo hoo. She has become really strong recently. She can hold her head up and sometimes when I hold her up and her feet touch the surface of whatever she is on, e.g. the floor, my lap, the couch, etc, it seems that she is almost able to stand and only needs my support for balance. I can also almost hold her on my hip (the way women do in movies).
Mel - thanks for the comment re potty training. :) Sorry to hear that your babies are still sick. Hope you all get better soon.
Flosse - a HAB is a baby carrier. LOL re Olivia holding the bottle. Diana has done that too. It's so cute, isn't it?
Sara - good on you for making Kaetlyn a baptism gown. :) I don't think I'd have the skill for something like that. I am getting someone else to make one for Diana, although I will attempt to make her a hat. Re expressing milk - the formula I was told to use to work out how much to feed bub is as follows: baby's weight x 150ml divided by no of feeds in 24 hrs, e.g. if your baby is 4kg and feeds 6 times a day, the amount is 4 x 150mls = 600ml / 6 = 100ml. This is only a rough guide, but it seems to work for Diana.
Tracey - wow re expressing 200ml per breast! I'm lucky if I get 180ml from both...
Hi to everyone else. Hope you're having a good evening.
Bridee ~ So sorry to hear about your DS, hang in there it won’t be for long and see what the paed says first too. I’m sure everyone will be more interested in your beautiful little girl rather than any brace at the party but I understand how you feel and hope that you are ok.
MMel ~ I hope everything is working out for you after seeing the doctor. Try not to be too hard on yourself about not trusting your intuition sooner, it’s hard to find the time!!. What natural methods do you use for her?
Fran & Jemima ~ My DP has been home for 5 days and it’s the longest we have been together since DS was born really. (We didn’t bring him home until he was 17 days old and DP was back at work already by then). He’s been really hands on the last few days and Lucas has bonded really well with him because of it.
blueflower ~ would love to see some pictures of the Baptisim gown, all the best for your special day.
Flossie ~ Wishing you a speedier recovery so you can get back into the swing of things. I wish I had some more advise but I hope you are feeling ok.
Ngala ~ Hope Avaleigh is getting used to her cot. We finally separated ourselves from Lucas and put him in his own room. He is actually sleeping a lot better day and nights now but we have a cradle by our bed incase he needs us. DP and I miss co-sleeping :(but bubs is happy :D!
tears ~ the pram walk sounded like fun! I'd love to do something like that here.
And I hope everyone else and their babes are well. We are all good and recovered from the last two weeks dramas. I'm very happy to say that I just did a nappy change and there was poo! woohoo for Lucas! I was doing it in the dark and somehow it got from in the nappy to on the floor and I didnt even know until I trod on it putting him back in his cot, weird I know! Luckily it was hard as a rock! He has had really bad constipation and I gave him some of those coloxyl drops last night, looks like they work! Thank goodness. I've been trying to get a hold of his paed for the last two days unsuccessfully which I'm a bit peeved about actually...
*Big Love* to all.
August x
Mummy Mel, Have you squirted breastMilk in Jack's nose? I did that with Zyon a few times & it kept his cold/sniffles at bay! It's brilliant stuff, actually I had a patch of eczema on my face (stress related when I was getting no sleep!) & I put EBM on it in morning & night & in 3 days it was gone, might work on Charli's ??? It's worth a shot!?? 3 sleeps to go! YAY!
Flossie HAB is a hug a bub, it's a long material that ties the baby on to you (basically) Zyon sleeps in it during the day for 5 hours if I leave him in there whiolst we do stuff around the house, walk to the school etc!!! It will be my saviour at the airport!!!
Zofia, I have always been a decent Dairy cow!!!
Ok he's waking better go!!!
Good idea Tracey with the breast milk. I will try it on Charlee tonight. Thanks:) Wow 3 sleeps to go, how exciting. Are the girls really excited too? When was the last time they were over there? when do you get back?
Last time I was there was 4+yrs ago, since then we bought a hpouse, 2 Harleys (DH) had 2 kiddies & so it just never happened!
We brought the Inlaws out here last year, but now FINALLY we get back there!
We come back on Oct 10th!
Oh you must be busting to get over there. Where aboutsin Bali is DH from?
OOOOOO Tracey- Have a great time, ENJOY IT, and good luck with the two little ones on the plane!!!
Thanks all for the info on expressing. I am getting about 50mls per 'expressment', and that is with me getting bored with expressing. I told Aaron that he had better enjoy feeding her, becasue its no fun getting the milk out!!! I have enough for a feed now, so what I will do is when he feeds her EBM, i will express that feed and save it for next time he feeds. I expressed this morning about 1.30am wehn aaron got home from work and Kaetlyn had last fed around 10.30 so there was plenty of milk there, and this morning there was ample supplies for her morning guzzle.
BTW Kaetlyn has turned into a power pooper!!! Everynappy I changed last night had amega poop in it. Not so fun when the nappy leaks either!!
I am having fun with the gown making.. It is so cute (but hard) as everything is mini sized- like little sleeves and bodices. aOh I hope it turnes out ok!!!
Well am about to go to morning tea with two of my cousins- one is PG and due in about 4 weeks. I might have to public breast feed- AAARRRRGGGHHHH still never done that as i have managed to avoid it or sit in the car and do it!! I have worked out that my issue is not with BB it is with people seeing my ugly hairy scarie stomach. If i cover that up i should be right.
Oh and tomorrow I am meeting the local BB members at a ZOo, should be fun!! Except for the feeding every two hour thing that Kaetlyn has a t the moment. Zofia if you are free you should come along to!!!
When's the meet-up at the zoo? Sounds like fun.
OMG what a mummies boy!!!
I cant do anything without Lach with me at all times!
He wont sleep in his cot for any longer than an hour, and hates being in a room without me!!!!
Slowly going insane............
Mel,
Dh is from Tuban so it's not a remote area!!
Indah has flown twice before so I am hoping she will be OK, a littkle bored so i have bough books & pencils etc for her! Zy will be fine just keep him on the breast & he'll be happy!
He now weighs 5.425kgs!!! Such a piggy! I grabbed Maddy a couple of girl mags to read & will grab myself some trashy mags too, DH will grab Tattoo & Harlkey mags & we will be fine!!!
I have always fed in public, I think once you've done it, it just doesnt phase you anymore!?
I grabbed a singlet top today with buttons, for Bali but then giggled as it's the only one I have the others I'll be showing my belly I guess? Oh well!???
Hi all,
How exciting lots of posts to read
Tracey, LOL on still looking pg with the HAB on, the first time nathan had it on I thought oh my he looks pg if you couldn't see the bubs. I've only managed to get Xav to sleep for 2-3 hours in the HAB, but then I'm sitting on my backside and not rocking him, so I can't complain.
Flossie, how cute and very helpful, I've been saving some of my showers for the night when Nathan gets home too, I can't stand when there is a big cry and I'm in the middle of a shower, at least when DH is home they can look after things, even if just for a minute.
Mel, you poor thing, I think your almost destined to get a cold when the kids both have it, your probably spending every waking hour with them both. You do still sound in good spirits though, you must be a super mum! And I'm sure your Doc loves to see you every week ;) brightens up her day
Zofia, naughty naughty, off and do your assignment young lady. It's great to hear about all of Diana's accomplishments, reminds me of all the cool stuff we have to look forward to.
august moon mum, oh not so good your little one was a bit backed up, but glad to hear it's all out now. Can't imagine it would be very comfy, poor little tacker.
Sara, Does katlyn need to go up a size with the nappies. I found that the aldi brand ones are good, and the newborn ones seem a little more generous in size than huggies, plus they next size up I think starts at 5kg not 6 like huggies. I'm sure the dress will turn out really well.
I know what you mean about flashing the tummy, I don't think anyone wants to see my tiger stripes. Target have some good feeding t-shirts in maternity section, but I'm finding these don't work too well for Xavier, as lol I don't get enough boob out for him (such a boy). I had a thing to cover my belly while pg, maybe something similar to that, but in a much smaller size might work.
Have fun at the zoo, I wish there where things like that near me.
Nicki, hang in there, every little boy I have met in the last 12 months is a huge mummies boy. I believe they grow out of it, only to fall back in when they get older I think, 'cause my DH is a bit of a mummies boy. Try to enjoy it, 'cause one day you won't be cool enough and you will wonder where you little man has gone.
Well us, we got another 7 hour sleep last night. I think the other day we got screwed up by the weekend, 'cause we go to mums for tea on Sat and he just doesn't feed very well when we go out. only took till tuesday night to get my good child back. I'm just crossing my fingers he starts to maintain the 7 hours and then starts increasing them, although I'm still waiting for the nasty non stop feeding etc for this 6 week growth spurt. Maybe he already had it, he is definetly feeling rather heavy the last few days.
Wow Tracey sound like you guys are set. Zyon is getting so big too, we won't recognise him when you get back.:p
Well just got back from my docs. She has put Jack onto losec. So hopefully we will have some more relief with that. At the moment he is sleeping really well, but that is just cause he is sick, poor little thing, but good for mummy:rolleyes: BTW my little piggy now weighs 6.5kg WHAT A LITTLE SUMO!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks Rebecca for your kind words, but definately no super mum here, I just get by cause I have too, but thanks, your comment made me feel good.:)
Hi to everyone else, don't have much time ATM I have a little hungry singing out to me.
BBL
Hi everyone...hope you are all well! Alessia and I have been doing ok today - she had her first 2am feed in ages, so I guess I can't complain, but it's strange feeding at that hour! We're still working out some sort of routine at night...just have to say, thank God for the bath. It tires my little miss out like a treat!
Mel *hugs* I hope your little family is feeling better soon. Hopefully the onset of some better weather will bring warmth and most importantly health! I'll be getting the test results this Friday from the MRI that I had on Monday. I'm quietly *****ting myself cos if my tumor is back, I don't know how I'll cope! :(
Rebecca Woohoo for Xavier and his long sleeps! It's great when you hear your baby stir and you look at the clock and it's 5 or 6am! I'll have to keep an eye out for the feeding tops in Target. At the moment, I've only fed at home and am surviving on singlets and zip up hoodies.
Tracey Wow, great weight gain for Zyon!! How's your little one going now that he's on the right meds?
Nicky *hugs* those days are hard when you can't get much done! Pop a good DVD on and sit back and relax...there's not much else you can do unfortunately!
Sara Well done on your expressing! I found that it would be a little easier if I popped my 'bosom buddies' (little gel packs that you can heat or ice) inside my bra about 15 mins before I would express to help my let down. I can't wait to see the beautiful gown you're making once you're done!
August Yay for Lucas having a poo! Alessia went 2 weeks without doing one and it worried me so much...I was 'this close' to having to use the coloxyl as well! Now she is a little more regular.
Zofia Hope you've found some time to work on your assignments! I can't wait til Alessia makes more sounds other than 'feed me!!!' *hehe* I had a look at your website the other day...boy Diana is just so cute!
Flossie Wow, Olivia is long! I think that when Alessia is her age, she'll probably be the same - she's already at the 90% percentile at the last check! Yes, gotta love when the hubby comes home to enjoy the 'little' but so important things!
Veronica That's great that Avaleigh loves the electric swing that you bought her. Alessia HATES hers with a passion! *lol* Hopefully when she's older she'll take to it a bit better!
Well there goes my baby again...major wind problems today! Take care everyone!
