I spoke too soon. Today I woke up feeling the worst I have felt with this cold. It seems to have spread to my chest, as I have a yucky chesty cough, Jack too. If it were just me it wouldn't be a problem, I just hate seeing him weezing and coughing and sneezing.

Sorry for the whinge, but I always feel better after I have a little sob session, just sorry you guys always have to hear it

Jem, good to hear your starting to feel better. I just had another look at your site, and saw the latest photos of the boys and charlotte. Jesse is a handsome little man, we might have to hook him and charlize up But seriously all your children are gorgeous, you and DH must have good jeans that mix well.

Rebecca and Nicki, hows that, what a small world. What a great story to tell your kids when they are older, how their mummies met

Fran, hope you have a better night tonight.

Sara, glad to hear you had a good day out, and its sounds as though you have got outings all sorted out, well done.

Veronica, I hear about the fustration of spotting. Mine sounded the same as yours, not everyday, but most. But I haven't now for 2 days YEY YEY YEY.

What type of contraception is everyone using? We decided to get a mariena (sp?) inserted into my cervix. But thinking we are going to try something else. DH doesn't like it much, he says it pokes him and it hurts Says its just cause he had a big willy, men it's always about them and their big (well in their minds) willies. I guess I will talk to my GP about other long term options. Just curious to know what your all doing. All though, most of you who are wanting more kids wouldn't be looking at long term solutions, but still just curious.

Going to get my hair done tomorrow, can't wait. I always feel like a different lady when I walk out. Wanting to try a new colour, maybe a little darker, but I always chicken out at the last minute, I'm sure tomorrow will be no different.

Anyway ladies, I'm off. Have a good night.

    Hi all

so much to catch up on!!

Mel - poor you - I hope you and Jack are feeling better today. A pamper session at the hairdressers should help. I was going to get a Mirena but I have heard a few funny things about it so I am not sure now. What do you think you will use for contraception instead? We were going to go straight for a vasectomy but when Dh saw the specialist he was asked if we would want another child if one was to die as morality rates in infants is high in the first 12 months of life (I know this sounds heavy) and after talking we said yes we would so we have decided to hold off for a year or two on the vasectomy (not that I think anything is going to happen to one of the children). Any news on the house? Hehehehe about charlize and Jesse - they would make such a cute little pair!!

V - have fun at the Perth meet up. SOunds like it is all go with the wedding plans!!

Fran - how did you ob and paed appointment go? I have my ob appointment today.

Sara - I hear you on the stinky nappy bins - some of them are revolting. There is a really really nice new parents room at a shopping centre near where I live - I love going there to feed/change Charlotte which sounds rather sad but it is so clean and modern. Have you been getting some early nights with Aaron home?

Rebecca - sounds like Xavier is sleeping like a dream - yay and thank goodness!! Sleep makes for a happier mummy and a happy mummy makes a happy DH and so on!!

Nicky - Thats so funny how you and Rebecca met - especially as your mums work together. it is such a small world isnt it!!

Well not much is new here. Charlotte is still sleeping and feeding really well and without sounding like I am going on about it I am just so thankful as I dont know how I would have managed with Oliver and Jesse if she was an unhappy baby. I have a wedding to go to in Sydney next weekend and I dont know what I am going to wear. I am almost back into my normal clothes but not quite so I dont know if I should go and get something new or just try and make do. I guess alot of the new styles are quite loose so if I get something new i should be able to wear it again hopefully. I just dont know where to start looking -I love going shopping but feel a bit out of touch with fashion at the moment!!

Charlotte has her immunisations today (we are a bit late in getting them done) so I had best go and get ready for that.
    Take care everyone

    hi all,

jemima and mel, sorry to hear about all the sickies. It's no fun being sick.

Mel, at the moment my only contraception is abstinence but really we will only be sticking with natural with some condoms thrown in for good measure. we have been together for over 10 years with no accidents so hopefully that keeps working for us. Once I've decided that I've had enough I might look at a long term under skin implant or something, but that's years away.

Nicki, oh how long until you have to move if your starting to pack?

Veronica, you are not going to know your self at the end of your whirlwind of having a baby then getting married. your going to be buggered.

Well, sory ladies but we had a pretty good night last night. Xav went to bed at 8.30 after being grizzly and clingy most of the day stirred at 2.30 but went back to sleep without me having to even go in. then at 4.15 I woke up laying in a pool of milk with giant aching bazombas (he wasn't awake!!!). Well I wasn't waiting for him to wake up. So I went and picked him up, sat down and started feeding him. Imagine his surprise and happiness where he woke up not a single complaint. changed his bum half way through, got him to drain one side, and put him back to bed at 4.45. He then slept till 7.30 and instead of doing an I'm hungry cry it was more of a hello, is any one there kinda call.
The only down side to it all was that at 4.45 this morning I was standing in a cold kitchen expressing the other very full boobie, and do you think I could get back to sleep? no.

Can't complain though, he's being pretty good today, so far.
