lol Sara! good question.. the huggies nappies says that their newborn nappies fits bubs up to 5 kg so maybe thats when they are no longer newborns???
We just tried some of the magic juice andgot a nice big burp out of avaleigh!! she was a little unsettled afterwards but is happily sucking away at her dummy in my arms..
Rebecca - welcome to the thread!! great that you got to go home so early. looks like you were hit with the baby blues, all normal i've been told! Imfeeling good since my lil break down the other day. I read your birth story. Well done for doing it all with only gas. I dont know how people could manage it. I hated the feeling of the contractions and even with an epidural it hurt to push avaleigh out so well done!!
Kylie - good luck with the infacol, i hope it works for you. Its so bad when bub gets blocked up with poo! Avaleigh has been a lil blocked up but all good now. So the seed-like poo is normal for a bf bub?? I;ve been a lil concerned but too afraid to talk about my baby's poo!!

Wow! What a great night we had here last night!
between 11pm and 6 am, Lach only woke twice. Fed and changed him both times, so that took an hour each as he was mighty hungry... but I actually got blocks of sleep lasting longer than 1 hour! lol
We went shopping again yewsterday, adn boy does he love that! He loves the car rides and pram rides. He stays asleep the whloe time, which is good, cos I am a little bit worried about this breast feeding in public caper!
How long will Lach be a newborn? well... I dont really know. If it is this magic 5kg mark... then Lach may not be such a newborn anymore!
MCHN is coming today for weighing and measuring. So I am looking forward to hearing how well/ not well he is doing. I swear he has gotten bigger. His cheeks have def gotten chubbier!
Better go, MCHN will be here in halfa, and I need to tidy the lounge room.

P.S Sara, thanks for the reassurance in regards to the rash. I did speak to a pharmacist yesterday who told me somehting very similar.
