OOOh havent popped in to confirm that I am havinga BOY!... Yep all is perferct the scan was about 45mins & she was super thorough & I am so glad he looked perfect & is perfect, looks like he'll have Indah's button nose!!!

So Zyon Jaya is growing & halfway to meeting us!!! Indah's already saying Baby Zyon....


Just a quick one to say That maddy won a prize at a festival today, I am waiting for her to get home & tell me all but it was a Helicopter flight so my Mum went with her (as they'd gone with my sis & her kids & I was baking & napping!) so they flew over our hpouse & I was out side waving, I cant wiat to hear all about it...... What a winner!!!

Wow Brooke..its all so close for you..its so darn exciting! Cant wait to hear what you have growing in there....i think im going to say girl! Thats great your hubby could help with gymbaroo..its sometimes the little things that are the most touching isnt it.

Lisa the new playgroup sounds great and wow at the great sleeping...id love a bit of that! Im thinking about joining a new alternative playgroup out here but i will have to see how im fitting everything in..am hoping to go and check it out on wednesday.

Hello everyone else.

Had a lovely weekend. I still have classes tomorrow unfortunately so miss out on the long weekend. The kids have been great. Weve had sleepovers on both nights and we had family around this arvo for afternoon tea. Sammy is growing up way too quickly and just repeating just about everything we say. He is sooo into trucks, cars and bulldozers, Storm and Fletchie are you noticing the same with your boys???? Its so funny given how hes surrounded by girls and his dad certainly is not a 'blokey' bloke.

Well have a few chapters to read so best get on to it...hope you all have a lovely day tomorrow.

Jo - Ah Sammy is a sweetie. Bugger you don't have a holiday. I started going to a new playgroup last week and LOVED it. They have this big back yard and heaps of toys and a sandpit and stuff. Lucie ran around for the entire 2 hours and was literally a walking zombie at the end. Can't wait until we go again tomorrow! Best thing is it's FREE!

Ned has been restless the past 2 nights so i need sleep.............

Bummer you don't get the day off Jo! & Yep Zac is in to cars & trucks too! It's so cute.
I think Angel is setting an example for Zac when it comes to sleep, he goes to bed great, but wakes up through the night & wants to play! I was up for 2 hours with him last night, he kept passing me his cars saying "toot toot, mummy" Gorgeous, but not at 2am!!! Maybe it was the storm that woke him up.

Yay for a new playgroup Soph, Lucie sounds like she has a blast! Hope Ned has a better sleep for you tonight, maybe he is just settling back in from your holiday. How's the BF going? I still get a bit upset about not being able to feed Angel,I wish there was something they could have done to help with my supply, or rather I wish they had different drugs which they gave me to help me recover, instead of the ones that stop milk production.*sigh*. Yep been getting out heaps, not scared anymore LOL.

Hey Brooke, are you still here? Sounds like your bubba is going to be here soon. Did the contractions keep coming? Wow for your DH coming to help you too. Men, they can be human sometimes!

Dh is home from work today, but he & zaccie are curled up in bed still, Angel is asleep & all the big kids are at school. I've moped & unstacked the dish washer & I have this horribly big iron pile looking at me, urgh, why can't I be the one still in bed?
Best go do it.

HUGE congrats on having a boy Trace, boys are super :D Awwwwwwwww at Indah saying baby Zyon, soooooo cute.

Storm - that's great for getting out a bit. And don't stress about the BF. If it happens, then great, but when it doesn't work then you know bub will get fed anyway! After what you went through with the birth I reckon you are doing a totally super job. BF going ok. I still stress about supply etc but Ned put on 550g in 3 weeks and now weighs 7.65kg at (almost) 5.5 months. Lucie only weighed 8.8 kg when she was 1!

Wow Soph, you are going really well huh? Great weight for Ned too. Isn't it a weird feeling going from terrible feeders to fantastic ones? Angel already weighs 5.2kg, well that was last weeks, she is almost 1/2 the weight Zac is now! He only weighs 11kg. :(

Indah is 17months (Yikes already!) she is just over 9kgs & is a huge eater, but the kid doesnt stop, she is just constantly walking!!!

A guy from works son was born about 10 days before Christmas & weighs 8.5 kgs!!!

Wow Trace - that guy has a hefferlump! They are all so different.

Storm - Lucie is only just over 10kg, so not much difference between them at all! 2 people have actually asked me if they are twins (but what the ???? it's obvious that developmentally they are VERY different!)

lmao Soph..twins??????? Its so strange what people are seeing sometimes!!! I used to get asked that with Jess and Em and they are two years apart...too weird lol.

How you feeling Trace..is it sinking in yet that you have a little blue passenger?

Storm you have done a great job with Angel..dont be hard on yourself..shes putting on such great weight!

Had a great day at uni today. Darren and the kids had fun at home and awww its so nice coming home and seeing Sammy so excited to have mumma home! Tired tired though.

Brooke I think Charli is just perfect!!!! Besides Kaitlyn is over 12kgs so I would not worry to much - she is in Size 3 tops from pumpkin patch and almost size 3 pants ..can you believe that!!!!!!!!!!! Wow at the contractions - you must be getting soooooo excited!

Ohhh Lisa I will keep everything crossed for you! ( well almost everything LOL) I so hope that you have a sucsessful month TTC!.

Well good news here ...so far no BIL coming to stay ..thank goodness. He is a good kid and all but I like my own space!. He appears to have a job in a kebab shop ...mmmm even though he just completed a 12month , $10,000 marketing course ( paid for by my MIL and FIL of course). I would not be impressed but am happy as it means he can stay home!. As I said ..great kid , love him ...just like my space. Besides I am sure he was even less impressed with the idea then I was hehe.

Kaitlyns mystery illness seems to have passed. ...may not have posted yet on this. Picked her up from daycare on thursday and she had a temp . Then I basically had to alternate Panadol and Nurofen every 4 hours as the fever just kept coming back as soon as it would wear off!. Took her to the Drs and they could not see anything ( thought maybe a throught thing - plus she had fluid in her ears ). Anyway Sunday morning gave her Panadol at 630am and I said to DH if her fever comes back after this wears off we are going to hospital - I was getting worried as she was not drinking and nappies were getting dryer . Anyway ..temp didnt come back and then yesterday she drank and drank and drank!. Then I got a really bad ear ache and sore glands so I am wondering if I have the same thing ( as she has been rubbing her ears). But she she is eating again ( thankfully as her cute popbelly has gone!) and seems in better spirits...oh I cant wait until she can tell me what is wrong!.

Had a great time at the wedding ( in between worrying about Kaitlyn as she was home with my mum). ....and that was about all for my weekend!

Hi Cass - Yeap we went to playgroup - not many there though cos of the rain. We are checking out abother one today but it's rainy again. I'm fast becoming a playgroup addict! Glad Kaitlyn is better and i so know what you mean about them being able to tell you what's wrong.

Soph glad you enjoy playgroup. We went to one ...and a 4mtr plank of wood almost fell on Kaitlyns head ( hit my foot instead). If it had hit her we would have have been in an ambulance ..so that kinda turned me off as it was not a safe enviroment. I also decided that I only get 3days with her so I wanted to be greedy and have her to myself hehehe.

Hello everyone else..hope you and your bubs are all fairing well. Bec, Alex, Fletchie and Rae hope you pregnant mummas are doing fantastically.

Sammy went really well yesterday. Hes such a champ...he happily goes to Neya's (Nessa's) house and even waves bye bye to me. He got a bit upset after the first hour but thankfully she took him for a walk so was distracted.

Well best be off...little man is beckoning. He wants me to help him wash the bubbas in the baby bath outside.

Playgroup was good, totally different to other group which is all very interesting. The one today is a paid one and the Tuesday one is run by a govt run family support group for free. Not sure which one I prefer as yet. Lucie slept for 3.5 hours in the arvo after yesterdays though!

Lisa I hope you get a better nights sleep tonight ..you need your energy this cycle hehehe. Work is going well , thanks for asking! Although I asked for a job transfer back in November and I am still waiting for it to happen so that is driving me a little nuts!. This role is just so full on and I really want something a little more relaxing!.

Fletch thanks for the heads up on Rae ....she must have been so worried about Ella and now she has to worry about Tia and herself...fingers crossed she gets good news tomorrow.

Sounds like Lucie loves playgroup! Love it when they get so tired they have a great big sleep like that . How is our big boy Ned going?.

Sammy sounds so cute playing in the bath Jo. Kaitlyn is obsessed with her cabbage page doll now, she drags her around and wraps her in one of her old wraps !. She even feeds her making the sounds "gulp gulp gulp".

Man I am just so smitten with Kaitlyn! I swear this is just the best age , she is learning so much. I tell you she made my mums day the other day when she called out "nannyyy"..made her so happY! Now my sister is working so hard to get her to say "aunty Nikki" I think that may be a little way off though hehe. And she is just such a little mimicK...ooohhhh love it.

She seems to be so into daycare as well at the moment which makes life much more relaxed for us all. I think this is the age when they like the interaction a bit more .She is just really settled in there now...I still have my concerns but I think if she is happy there is no better proof it is the right place.

OK ..off to watch the end of Prison break ..that michael is such a hottie!.

Mmmm my bet is Brooke will have a girl, 8lb 6 oz, on Saturday. Or she has already had her now ;)

Storm I love the sound of your boring day :-)...I have been working from home today and thanks to a nice quiet one I have dont 3loads of wash and mopped the floors yay!

And this morning we had about 10 ****atoos in our backyard ..I tell ya the are noisey buggers!. There is a seedpod of some type in this tree we have and they all love it so they come most mornings at the moment. Toby (Dog ) sits at the base of the tree and barks at them ..and honestly they are so big these birds they just look at him and continue on eating almost like they are saying " oh what is that annoying little thing doing!"..hehehe. Love seeing them happy in the wild and they are so big and white in the wild!

Oh and Kaitlyn is such a mummies girl at the moment ..does not want anything done by dad if I am around ....and all she shes is MUMMMM ...MUMMYYYY. Poor DH is jealous heheheh I am loving it hehehe!.

Cass i love those days too where u can potter around at home and not rush off anywhere..bliss!! The ****atoos sound gorgeous! Hehe..everything that comes our way here laughs at my dog too...hehe. We have roaming guinea fowls that dont pay her the slightest bit of attention despite all her efforts ..its tough being a small dog lol!

Storm I thought of you today when i saw a mum with a new bubby girl in the pram and a little boy running around. Hope you had fun shopping!

Sammy didnt have music today..it wasnt on this week but we picked up Livvy's moped..its a groovy pink one and she just loves it. She deserves some spoiling! Dont you just love the things that they have out for kids now..man it was so different when we were kids. My girls laugh at me when I tell them about my super special doll i got when i was 7 where you pulled the string at its back and it made its arm wave lol.

Soph your socialising sounds lovely!. Sounds like it is doing wonders for Lucie as well, I know Kaitlyn gets bored if we stay home all day...guess it is just the age.

Well yay to Friday!. We have a nice weekend planned , off to see my sisters new apartment for brunch tomorrow and then tomorrow afternoon we have a friends little girls first Bday which will be great!. Then Sunday a quiet one I think as DH is working ...might pop in and see some friends we have not seen for 2months and I am feeling a little slack!.

Oh and they finally got approval to hire my replacement ..yay. So I will be able to move out of this role. Although..at my company we have what we call bands which is like the ranking for a role which determines the pay ( we are not Govt but it is a similar ranking system as we are an big American company) . Anyway I have been doing this job as a "band 6" which is what I came back from maternity leave under ..but I have always thought it was a pretty intense roll to only carry that ranking . Anyway they are replacing me with a "band 8" level person!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....what that basically means is they will get paid approx 50K more then I do !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I should go ask to be increased to at least a "band7" and backpaid...buggers. Oh well ...time to change roles no point crying over split milk!

Last night I decided to have all my long boring dry dead hair cut off & it's really short razor cut & whispy into my neck, in an all over dartk brown colour with some caramel highlights!! I am happy with it as it maens not having to actually style & do it!!!

Gee Trace, she's getting a shocker! Only the other day she swore at me, & the "F" word at that.Dylan uses it alot too kinda under his breath, but just loud enough to hear. Well I cracked the hugest tanty at them both for it he he he haven't had a foul word since. Even I've been good!
