I hate sickness as well Soph and I am the one with ANOTHER cold.
On the good side I only have another 24days of work to go and only 16 of them are in the office. Maria had her check up at the Paed the other day and she is just shy of 10kg (gets there then has another energy boost and loses it again) the Docter is happy with her though and said if she was born on time she would be in the 10th percentile so from being so small to being with she is doing well I suppose. His way of putting it was that she is 5 times her birth weight and that is good.
Thanks for your well wishes for Sammy girls..hes had the BEST day..spoilt little man has been singing happy birthday and practicing his blowing out of candles all day! We took a bus into town and went to the fun centre, out for lunch, had a little party tonight and is now tuckered out in bed. We are heading to Perth for the rest of the celebrations. Awwwwww cant believe hes 2!

Sorry I have been such a slacker...again. SO busy with the new job ...having to go to Melbourne next week and it will be my first night away from Kaitlyn. So aside from the nerves of the presentation I have to give I have to also worry about her :-(. Sad Mummy wishing for a boring job here.
Kaitlyn is wonderful! Spents all her time chatting , loves to tell off her "bubba" and also our dog . I hear her in her cubby house saying "no bubba" "sit bubba" "cuddle bubba" very cute. She is up to three word sentances so that is exciting.
We are busy house hunting but have not seen anything we really like just yet.
Sorry....been a stranger again. WE were all really sick with the flu, NEd was really bad and at the hosp a few times but hopefully he is on the up now.
Happy 2nd Birthday to any I have missed. Wow still can't believe it. Lucie is 2 next Friday and then can you believe it, 4 weeks after that Ned will be 1!!!!!!!!!

Soph wow you will have fun when the kids get older having the birthdays s close lol. Sorry the kids have been sick..that really sucks..ive been so blessed so far to have no illness at all this winter..but i wont count my chickies just yet!
Trace sounds like you are settling in well with your new little bubba. What do the girls think of him??? Hope he doesnt get Indah's snotty nose too..its too awful when littlies get sick and they cant feed properly.

Louise hope you guys are doing well.
Weve been fairly flat out since we went to Perth and then got back....we had sleepovers all this weekend too and now am trying to furiously get through some readings for class. Sammy has just taken off in his talking...its no come on daddy do it....daddy do it for most things really....not mummy! Weve put a gate on the cubby on stilts so he thinks its just the best cos he can be in it without us being with him all the time..and the tramp is just one of his favourite things ever!...
Trace - How is Zyon? Didn't get the snuffles I hope? He is soo cute and another bubba blessed with a great head of hair!
Jo - Sammy is a very lucky boy with the cubby and tramp, I am very jealous that you have the backyard to do it LOL.
Kids are heaps better now. Ned just has a bit of a runny nose now. Still VERY slow on the solids but I really think I just need to resign myself to the fact that both my kids are sparrows lol.
We are having a combined party for both of them next weekend. Can't believe Lucie will be 2 next week. She is slowly starting to talk more, still pretty behind on that front but we are getting there.
Aww Soph..well you guys have stairs and Im jealous of that! LOL Glad the kids are on the mend..so what do you have planned for the party. Its a great idea to share it between them
I spoke too soon....Sammy has deveoped a cough and sniffle...poor little boy. We are keeping him home seeing as I was so annoyed and grabbed him out of the way of a sick family at the shops the other day...i dont want to spread the germs around as well...seems like there are enough around already. How scary is this influenza A?
