I was going to hold out till 6m but then I did some googling on introduction of gluten and incidence of coeliacs disease (no one in family has it but both DH and I react to wheat/gluten. Turns out that the delayed intro of gluten (past 7m) is as much as a risk factor as early intro (before 3 m). Recco is that gluten is introduced 4-6m. So given I want to take about a month to build up to bready stuff, we gave Flynn some rice cereal and he wolfed it down. Ok, we cheated and gave it to him before boobie, but he still loved it.
