IK - didn't go to MIL pool today so won't make you jealous!!!! I had to pick up my new prescription sunnies from Knox, then had a bit of browse and got some toiletries for holiday then realised that DH had to leave for work at 1pm and it was 12.40pm! Had to fly home and let him go to work. Was going to take Chelsea for a swim but Marley wanted a snooze, so I let her play outside in her clam pool. I can't go tonight as I have my monthly Dames Dinner with the GF's - MIL babysitting. How sad about your friends dad. Its always horrible to hear unexpected news like that. Hope you friend is coping OK. My dad is going in for heart surgery and has been on the waiting list for months. They finally give him a date, 1 March, while I am away! It couldn't be timed any worse but he can't so no otherwise he goes back on the list. I will be so stressed on that day and dad is *****ting himself, poor guy is really scared. I have to leave it to my brothers to keep me informed. I am sure everything will be fine, apparently it's a very routine operation. Cream is doing an awesome job - my little possum looks almost normal, no blothes or red marks! You sound like you have a hectic weekend, and in the heat too. Mine is pretty quiet thankfully. Just have to choose paint colours for the girls rooms as they are being painted while we are away. Enjoy all your parties!!

Rory - of course we care, thats the sort of girls we are. So glad to hear you back is getting better. Your DH is such a sweetie, what a beautiful present to buy and the right size too (how good is he!). Thats gotta make you feel better. Quickly do your housework, then sit and relax! Too hot to do much else.

Out for dinner tonight to a place called Gatica in Balaclava. Not sure what type of restaurant it is, but is sure to be a good one. MIL babysitting. Looking forward to catching up with my GF's for our monthly dinner.
