I got a marathon session in for tidying our room! I let Oscar make a mess in a corner and kept working on another area. DP cooked dinner (lovely roo roast) and now Oscar is in the sling being wooed by slumberland...
Rory - I know why he's being clingy, in my case. I don't mind him being clingy if he's sick, I'd just rather he not be sick! When he's not sick he's happy to entertain himself, but he can't do that for long at the moment without getting upset about all the snot running down his face and then just being upset about being sick. His cough sounds awful. I want my healthy boy back!! Great that work is interesting - also makes the days go quicker when you can get stuck into something. When I had an office job I looked forward to the meaty jobs, and when there was a lull I would think about how I hated working in the city and daydreamed about being out with my horse. I'm not very cut out for desk bound work, I discovered! But if it's interesting, that's different
Bath - I like how you think - I, too, subscribe to the theory that the bad times make the good times that much better (or mundane, ugly etc).
Let's see if this boy sleeps for more than half an hour. If not, I might have to hop in bed with him so that he stays asleep.
