Well I decided to ring the real estate and have resheduled the inspection, I just don't feel up to having them in the house whilst we're sick. Plus she said that she didn't want to get sick as well so now I don't have to kill myself trying to get the house spotless.

    Happy birthday Julie.

    hugs xoxo

What a gorgeous day in Melbourne today! Didn't notice the wind much though Mel, but maybe we are just on the right side of our hill. Would have loved to have gone to a park but I've had a sick Wade today... just a high temp... and he says his legs are sore... i'm keeping a close watch. At one point today both boys were asleep for about an hour at the same time! WooHoo! I got to read a bit more Harry...

Nic: yes you do sound happier! I hope you enjoy the new place and start to relax into the second half of your pregnacy... 27 weeks! time is just getting faster all the time!

Wade has just turned up beside me grisling... better see if i can help...

Well I've had a relentless day.... Bella fell off a stool in the kitchen last night and spent the whole night sobbing(even though she was fast asleep and on panadol!) this morning she woke up and seemed all right, until she slipped off one of those little plastic chairs and hit her arm again, so I went off to the hospital. She has a greenstick fracture in her left arm(Junies from last year will recall she broke her right arm) so after 2 hours in the hospital with the doctors trying to knock Bella out(they didn't succeed!) they finally plastered her arm. That gave me half an hour to get ready for Jack's Life Ed night at 5.30pm...that finished at 6.30, got home (thank god I only live 6 doors from the school!) had a bite to eat and headed back to the school for the P and F meeting AGM in which somehow I ended up as President. Now I have 4 pages of notes to write up from my course, try and get Bella and Patrick to bed and eat the rest of my dinner.

    Happy belated birthday Julie!
Congrats on the house being sold Nic! Now just enjoy this pregnancy!
Amanda, thankgod you put off the inspection, you sound awful...hope the kids and you get better soon.

Jess what a busy day you have had. Hope Bella's arm is fealing a little better poor munchkin..

Nic glad moving went well, you do sound happier ( not that I really know- i can imagine getting to the 27 week mark and thinking racca had her baby now - i did ).

Not much to say.. Caitlyn is still not sleeping consitently through the night ( she wakes once and won't go back to sleep without a bootle) but we are working on it and then she wakes up at 5am and wont go back to sleep .. But I can't complain..

Back to work now - more latter..

    Happy Belated Birthday, Julie!
Hi Emishka - hope you get an all night sleep soon.
Jess - good one, Bella! Just when life seems like it's squaring out, SOMEONE has to go and upset the apple cart!
Mel - the shoes are Laura Beninin, and I don't think there is any one website for it. If you google, there are one or two sites that come up for individual demonstratrors, and they are older styles, I think, but you get the idea from it. The demonstrator brings in the 3 latest swatches choc-full of beautiful patents, nappas, textured italian leathers! You get to pick the style you want and then design what leather, or combination of leathers and colours you want. DP has sort of approved the purchase I want to make. Well, at least, he didn't say no...which I take as an implicit approval!
    Bath - how's Wade today?
Tue and Wed were fabulous days here, although I copped wind at the paddocks and wind yesterday in Monbulk when I went visiting! Not that I cared, I was sufficiently covered for both. Oscar had a great time playing with kids all day yesterday. And he didn't get to sleep till 4pm...cos some dumb bunny forgot to pack the sling! The sun was shining to brightly for him to sleep in the buggy and I didn't have a cloth to throw over the top. That was ok, cos he slept for two hours from 4, was up and at 'em at brigade, then crashed well and truly in time for bed.
Oscar and I have nearly finished our porridge (with grated apple and cinammon!), so I'd better get going to get us in the shower...lots to see and do today and running out of time!

    Morning Lovely ladies and babies!
I am feeling so much better for only going into work 3 days a week, It is s great to have more time at home to rest and spend with Tori, she is just growing up so fast.
We have bought Tori a big girl bed, when it arrives we are going to set it up in her room so she can get used to it being there before we move her into it. I dont want to have to just kick her out of her cot for the new baby, so we are going to give her a big 9 months to get used to it.
I took Tori swimming this morning and she had an absolute ball, she is so much moe confient than she was 3 months ago when we took her last, now that she can stand she is happy to play around with me in the shallow part of the pool, she was even dipping he face in to blow bubbles without any prompting.
I have my next u/s this afternoon, I am so excited, we are finding out what we are having this time.

Julie- Happy Belated Birthday, I hope that you are a germ free family now and that you manage to get out of the house this week.

Jess- Sounds like a full on day at your house yesterday, you know what they say dont you, it never rain it pours.

Nic- Congrats on the house selling, that must feel like such a relief for you.

Anyway I had better go I can hear that baby chatting away in her cot.

Just wanted to let you all know that I got 98% on my first exam! WooHoo

Pat is grisly today, might be due to the fact that he was constantly hit last night from his sister. LOL

    Jess, that is great news
Ali, congrats on the boy - does that mean I get a girl this time LOL??

having a bit of a flat time ATM - I think I am going through my usual pregnancy career crisis - I am over it ATM and can't wait to go on leave, but at the same time wonder if I will ever want to go back, like I have a choice LOL

Hiya Rory I'm feling a tad 'flat' too ATM. Basically bored. DH is suffering malaise at work too... expatriation is at the very forefront... Thinking Singapore now.

Wade is almost better from his mystery illness. He had a temp of 39.7 and 'tired legs'. Of course meningicoccal went through my head... but that results in a sore neck doesn't it? Anyhows... he was nice and cool yesterday morning so I took him to French... loved it... then came home and he heated up again in the evening... he's cool again now... weird... hope we didn't share any germs... oh well, what ever it is it isn't a "bad" bug. Niall seesm fine, despite his perpetual clear nasal discharge.

DH going to have a late night tonight in some corporate footy box... might go in and have a coffee with him this afternoon though.

Hiya Emishka and Gabysmum, good to see you both.

Looking forward to BB meetup tomorrow too... I'll get to meet a few more Melbourne girls and their families.

    Kettle...

Hi Nic There's a really good BB article about Dads and Doulas...can't remember what it's called but it is written specifically to assure dads that a doula insn't going to put them out of a job... that she will be there to support them as well.
