Hello my dear friends!!

Have been MIA lately - the morning sickness is making things a little hard and although I occasionally lurk I havent had much energy to type :P I seem to get really dizzy when I sit infront of a computer screen!

Apart from the m/s everything is going well here. I had my NT scan yesterday and all was perfect!!! So the secret is out - Matt sms everyone he could think of last night, he's been wanted to tell ppl for the last 2 months!!

Mikayla is growing and changing in leaps and bounds - I just cant believe how quickly she's growing up!!! She starting to talk so much! She tries to repeat pretty much everything you say which is sooo cute. The other morning I sneezed and was so suprised to hear her say "beshoo" then later that day I was at the shops with my mum and she went off while I fed Mikayla. I saw mum coming so asked her where nanna was - she looked around and as soon as she spotted her said "there she's here" instead of 'there she is' - she sounded so adorable!!

She's absolutely infatuated with Daisy from In The Night Garden - I dont know if any of your little ones like it but she's glued to the TV when its on. I bought her the talking doll and it doesnt leave her sight. She walks around all day saying "daishy" which is cute but can get somewhat annoying :D

At the office so gotta go but I'll try to pop in more often. Hope you're all well.

Thanks Tina. Not having it till Wednesday. DH can hardly wait. He wants to tell all his friends at work. I'm still of the opinion that it can stay a secret till my tummy is too big. I really don't have the urge to tell anyone else. Anyone who matters knows already, so I don't see why we need to suddenly tell everyone!

My belly has turned into a little bump. DH says "Hello Number Two!" when I'm having a shower and my belly is on show. That's this one's nickname... Two. Wasn't on purpose, it just stuck. :)

Hop you are all well. Glad your scan went well Tina, you can relax and enjoy your 2nd trimester now then. That little Mikayla sounds like she is growing up sooo fast!

We are fine, Lewis went to a birthday yesterday dressed as Superman! I have put some photos in my gallery if anyone wants to have a look.

I have started taking Blackmores Conceive old and following a low g.i diet to try and balance my hormones. I would like to not have a winter baby this time so we are going to start 'trying' next month. Which would mean a September baby....listen to me acting as if I am going to get pregnant straightaway. Anyway will keep positive for now.

Mackenzie is driving me crazy!!!! She is pulling out all my pots pan plastics from the cupboards in the kitchen ... pulling the toilet roll in the toilet ... climbing over everything .. loves sitting ontop of the coffee table ... pulling EVERYTHING out of the office drawers ... pulling all the clothes out of her drawers ... drawing on the walls with texta .... AHHHHHHHH! I can't take my eyes off her for a seconds. And the way my house is designed .. you can't "section off" any areas for her to have a play room .. and do you think she wants to play with her toys?? NO! LOL Love her to bits but AHHH!

I am planning her Christening at the moment and planning my wedding as well! Very exciting. I am in cake mode at the moment .. Christening and wedding cakes!

Wow Mikaylah is leaps and bounds ahead of Kenzie, she is only saying things like "Oh no" and "door" and "no" thats about it .. apart from mum and dad. Looks like you might have a little chatter box on your hands!!!

MumofLewis :: I can't find your gallery to check out the pic's of Superman Lewis .. where are they ?? We are trying for another baby aswell starting in November, I am taking elevit for 6 weeks to get my folate and vitamin levels up .. maybe we'll end up being belly buddies!

PinkPalace :: Ashley is in a big bed now!!! How wonderful .. Kenzie is going into her new big bed in January, we are going to deck it out as a little girls room after christmas. Not long now till bundle #2 arrives ... you must be so excited!!! and exhausted . I dont know how your doing it!

Serenity - SHe isnt TECHNICALLy in it. It is still more of a toy. SHe will hae her night milk and read a book but she still wants to get into the portacot! i guess it is hard to teach a child to sleep in a bes with their little bed next to it lol... we arent pushing the matter though. will try after xmas too.
We are lucky she has been in a portacot for the past 8 months so dont need to get her out of the cot for #2! :)

Wow Mackenzie sounds like a little livewire!! I have got those drawer locks everywhere now because Lewis was always in the kitchen drawers and the bathroom cabinet.
You sound busy with your wedding and christening plans. I LOVE looking at cakes, it's the best part about functions I reckon! When I win lotto I am going to have a cake decorating business :ROFL:

Serenity I hear you on the climbing. Mikayla has started to scale everything! She got this drawing table for her birthday which I had beside the lounge and would take out when she wanted to colour in. It has a slanted table and inbuilt chair. She's always liked to stand on the seat which wasnt a huge problem because it isnt so far off the ground but I found her the other day standing on the table part and when I asked her to "get off now" she proceeded to jump off the table onto the lounge - she gave me a heart attack!!! Needless to say the drawing table is no longer in the loungeroom!!! Like Sarah I have locks on all the kitchen cupboards but its the drawers that are a problem in our house - I dont know what I'll do with my cutlery when she can reach the top one!! :D Good luck with the wedding and christening plans - it must be very exciting to be able to have your girls be a part of such a special day!!!

Oh and speaking of weddings, I forgot to tell you guys...

Mikayla is going to be a flower girl at her godfathers wedding in December!!! I'm sooo excited! God I hope she doesnt throw a tantrum and refuse to walk down the aisle :doh:

Well the scan went well. Little baby is measuring 3 days ahead of dates and is just gorgeous. Was very wriggly and kept resting it's little hand on it's face. Heart rate was 151 BPM. I don't get the results for another week or so, but the fold measured .15 I remember Caeleb's was .13, so I don't know if .15 is bad or not...

Caeleb came with us and was unimpressed by his little brother or sister... nowhere near as entertaining as The Wiggles. :lol:

GIRLS & GENT!!! BIRTH ANNOUNCEMENTS!!! Pink Palace had her little BOY ETHAN CRUZ (hope that's right) last night AT HOME!!!! (unplanned!!)

Today I was on a cleaning frenzy (you would think I was nesting ... I wish I was!! ) I cleaned out my entire house and have a whole room of stuff to ebay ... that is going to be a huge effort, but we are moving at the end of the year, so I really want to get rid of everything before we move. Hopefully make some extra money for christmas too!

Pink Palace :: Welcome Ethan Cruz, I can't believe you had an unplanned home birth!! That must have been exciting / scary / unbelieveable! I can't wait to hear all about your little boys birth!!

Celsie :: It's such a precious feeling when you see your little one on the screen isn't it! Did you get a print out of his/her picutre? Are you going to find out of its a boy/girl?

teepee2 :: I have thought of the tantrum issues for my wedding and I have come up with the perfect solution ... bribery!!! DH is going to have some sort of sweet at the end of the isle to give to her when she walks down like a good girl! :ROFL: Knowing my lucky she'll tear down the isle sreaming "GIVE ME MY LOLLLIES". We are moving house in 2 months time - interstate again ugh! - and so the first thing I will be installing is the locks on the drawers and cupboards.

Wow, I have noticed that a lot of the ladies here are pregnant or TTC, we have one baby born already and at my place AF hasn't even returned so plans for another bub here... Not really complaining but I sometimes wish I had the option of at least trying for another baby. Oh well, never mind...

I am extremely ****ed off today. I have done a week's worth of work for a person I met online and now that I have completed it she seems to have disappeared without having paid me. So annoyed as I was afraid that something like this might happen, but her emails sounded so sincere and she promised that she would pay... Grrr, so will not be able to pay off my credit card after all. Why am I such a sucker...

Diana is doing well. She is walking and talking (although nothing really coherent yet). She too is climbing furniture and we have our kitchen completely fenced off. She even tries to climb in and out of the bath these days. Fortunately she is still too little, but something tells me this will not be the case for long...

Well little miss is doing very well with a newbie in the house.
She hasnt had 1 tantrum at all.
Is more intrigued by the baby than anything - wanting to give kisses and pat him lol.

PP - That's great that Ashley isn't jealous, hope it lasts, you will have your own little helper!

Starfish - Lewis likes to throw anything and everything into the bath but he isn't trying to climb in yet. We have to be so careful now to always keep the door shut. I found a box of Shapes biscuits in there the other day!!

I took Lewis to the beach today, he has been a few times before but today he decided he didn't like the sand! He sat on my knee for 2 hours and whinged if I got any sand on him at all! So weird. It was really soft sand though so maybe that freaked him out a bit. Hope it doesn't last! :doh:
He'a also becoming alot more affectionate now and will give me cuddles if I ask him which he never would before! So I'm really enjoying that!;)

big hello to everyone!

Quick question......have you noticed that since the bubs have started walking their weight gain has slowed dramatically? I know this happens now they are more active, but Lewis has only put about 300 grams on in 2 months. He was 12.2kg at 13 months and tonight I weighed him and he was 12.4kg with no clothes on.

regarding the weight thing, Nate has actually lost weight in the last two months. he now only weights 13.5kg. hes lost .5kg in last 2 months. but hes running now and has become more of a fussy eater. we have started feeding him weetbix at night just because we know hell eat them. two in the morning and one at night(beat that MR Cricket).
other than that hes a handful and loves running at me full speed when im not looking and taking out my knees so we collapse in a heap on the floor. great fun when we go shopping! hes taller than a couple of the two year olds at day care and they all like to lift their shirts up and belly bump each other, but they just bounce off nate because hes too solid.

all you girls who are preggers or ttc, good on you and good luck. we still havent discussed in depth the possibility yet but were not in a rush. i think were lapping up as much sleep as we can.

still looking for a job. im going for an interview tommorrow so heres hoping.

Helllllllllllllloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo o!!!

How is everyone?!?!?! How are all the pg ladies going?!?!?!? How is your little newbie prince PinkPalace?!?! Oh so many questions, lol!

*deep breath in* okeedokeeeeeeeeee, well then...........oh DD#2 is walking everywhere now! I liken her to looking like an orang-utan - you know, with those dangly arms above their heads. Oh I mean it in a cute way, lol! Except she is trying so hard to run before she can barely walk. We are constantly saying, "go slow, slow down" lol! She is forever crashing on her knees which would be far better if it weren't straight onto cement outside or the tiles inside. Talking about the tiles inside.............:redface:

DD#2 is a shocker for standing on the lounge. We are forever popping her on her bottom and saying for her to sit on her bottom. DD#1 was playing with all the pillows that usually sit along the back of the lounge so there wasn't an extra barrier there......the back of our lounge faces the kitchen. I had my back turned for a minute and before I turned DD#2 was laying on her back next to her big sister on the lounge, DH was making dinner. We hear a slap noise and then DD#2 did the most horrid cry. She had fallen over the back of the lounge head first into the tiles!!! :o :cry: I felt sick to my stomach. I dropped the phone as I was calling my mum, except I didn't even think to hang up so her answering machine kicked into to hear a child screaming. I later rang back and left a far more reassuring message for mum :redface: Thank the Lord that DD#2 is ok but I still feel sick when I think of it :( So she now has a yellow circle on the high part of her forehead but no real lump amazingly. She moved so quickly its scary........I've been keeping her in almost arms reach all the time now, its crazy. Like I said, she is fine now, back to her cheeky, boundary pushing self :)

I cant believe either that my first baby starts pre-entry kindy next week - now that is crazy!! :D So we're going to go on a shopping trip to get a little back pack, lunch box & drink bottle for her, hehehe.

Oh and me? hehehehehehe...........I don't know if you remember me mentioning the fact that I dabble in a bit of scrapbooking? Well....................went to a close friends stamping/scrapbooking workshop at the end of August and fell so madly in love with it all that I thought, darn it! I'm going to do this!! LOL!! So I am now an independent demonstrator for a gorgeous stamping company!! :dance: I have been madly preparing for my first ever workshop which I held just over a week ago and it went so well!! It was so much fun and I'm just so excited that I'll woffle and dribble for ages about it, rofl! I was already looking for job opportunities but didn't want anything that would make me miss out on things with the girls etc and that I could fit around DH's work. I honestly thought that I was going to have to invent myself a job to give me the flexibility that I wanted and needed for my family's sake and then this landed in my lap! I am having so much fun with all my new toys, hehehehehehe! And I can get as busy or not as busy as I like and I decide when I'm going to work - its just brilliant! So sorry I haven't been around as I have had a bit to get my head around! Still wrapping it around stuff but having way too much fun now, lol! I am getting paid to go on playdates with other crafty people, woohoo!!

So that's my little tribe in a nutshell......a rather big nutshell! And gosh its late, I really should be snoozing now. Chat soon lovelies!

MumofLewis - DD#1 hated sand but now would live in the sandpit if she could, lol. Yet DD#2 loves it! Still slightly tentative but giggles her way through her sand pit play time. Each child can be so different, it's crazy! (DD#1 cracks it if you get water on her face, again, DD#2 laughs her head off! :rolleyes:)

Um, does anyone else have a squealer?? :redface: good gracious me!! I swear DD#2 could shatter glass! Got home from a workshop today and IL's were babysitting - well the girls see me and oh la la!! MIL was quite embarrassed thinking that I'd be thinking that she had created crazy monkeys while I was out! LOL!! But the girls had gone nuts from the minute they realised mummy was home.........oh and she had a shake from MacDonalds so there was a challenge right there for them to conquer - steal mummy's drink, hehehehe.
DD#2 has picked up how to say no. I shouldn't giggle but oh gosh, she sounds so cute! As it isn't a straight no, its more like a, 'nooooooooooo' but with an ****ney accent, teehee. Her first molars have finally cut through, thank goodness! Seemed to cause no end of grief! Oh and the little rabbit, if you ask her to go somewhere, or you turn her in the right direction away from where you want her to be (ie kitchen) DD#2 shakes her head, all the while walking away, but nattering quite loud in an almost annoyed tone! :o :lol:

I do feel the reigns may need to be somewhat tighter on #2 than #1 as they grow......she is a very strong personality!

I didn't even know you had posted the previous post Charly... BB didn't send me a notification. It does get a little quirky sometimes... :rolleyes: The new job sounds wonderful. Huge congratulations for finding something that you love AND that you can make some income from. Well done!!! I wish you all the very best in your new venture. Caeleb too has the "No" word figured out. Although, he shakes his head more than actually saying it thank goodness. Everything is "No!" at the moment. It is sweet hearing words rather than babble.

We're having a shocking time with teething at the moment. Caeleb has spent the past two nights in bed with us. He's still only got four teeth (don't ask me why... my son is strange!), so were expecting a whole heap to pop through at once. His mouth looks all swollen and lumpy inside. No wonder he's so upset, poor little love.

I had some pains in my tummy at 3am the other morning that just wouldn't go away. They were still there and it seemed like they were getting worse at 3pm, so I popped up to the hospital to make sure the baby was okay. Turns out that I have two cysts on my ovaries which are causing me pain. I have to go back for another scan on Tuesday, followed by a doctors visit on Wednesday, but hopefully they'll settle back down and not cause me any further problems.

Awwww *hugs* for Caeleb! And for you Celsie!! :hug: Sorry to hear about the cysts, but so glad that it wasn't anything too sinister, even though still a pain for you :hug: I really hope that it settles down for you love. If being pg with a toddler isn't enough hey? :rolleyes:

oh and you watch, Caeleb will probably end up with a mouth full of teeth and my little one will still be trying to cut the rest! :D lol!

Celsie - Poor Caeleb, teething really knocks them about doesn't it? Lewis is just about to sprout his final canine, and I will be so glad when he does. I think after that there is only 4 molars left isn't there for a while? Hope so, they must feel really lousy when their gums are sore.

We went to the Teddy Bears Picnic today, along with the rest of Sydney!! There were queues a mile long for everything and it was sooo hot! Never again :wall: Lewis did get very excited when he saw the Thomas ride though and said 'TSSS' about 1000 times, which means Thomas.

I'm off to get his feet measured properly tomorrow as they are so wide, not many shoes fit him. I don't know where he got his massive feet from!!!

Thanks girls. To top it off Caeleb now has a cold and a cough. Poor little mite woke up with a completely crusted over nose this morning. Don't ask me how he was breathing through it... I can see the two teeth next to his front teeth almost through, so let's hope it's just those two and then he can have a break for a while.

Sarah - I know what you mean about big feet. Caeleb has huge feet. He's walking around in a pair of size seven thomas sandals at the moment for garden shoes, although they are a little bit big. The size six only gave him about 1cm before his toes were hanging over the end. His feet are completely flat too. I was thinking that next time I take him to the doctor for something, I'd show him and see what he has to say. I think his flat feet may have something to do with the way he walks. He's still a little "thunderbird-ish" in his movement. Not badly, but I notice it.

He just walked past with clear snot running down his face and protested like a mad man when I wiped it away with a tissue. LOL - What would he rather?!? :rolleyes:

Feeling a whole lot better this week. I have some energy again and almost feel human. The great thing is I can be a Mummy to Caeleb again. I can play around and chase him and have fun like we used to before I got pregnant! YAY!

I must go. Someone is insanely jealous of the computer. As soon as I sit down and start typing he'll whinge to be picked up. :rolleyes:

Thats really weird you mentioning flat feet, we were discussing it last night too! Lewis's feet seem really flat so we googled it as dH is worried about it. However it seems it is fine until they are about 2-3 as they have alot of baby fat on their feet until then so the arches don't develop properly. DH is worried he won't become a professional footballer if he has flat feet:lol: I will see what they say at the shoe shop today and let you know.

Lewis has become very sensitive all of a sudden. He did something funny today and DH and I both laughed. Well he got so upset that we were laughing and just sobbed his little heart out and clung onto me for ages. We felt so guilty! So now we are going to have to laugh when he's not looking til he gets over it!!

Well Ethan is gorgeous. He really is a good little boy. Thank god for vibrating bouncers is all i can say! lol He sleeps great during the day and not so great at night.. lol bugger huh!!
Got him in his cloth nappies now so very excited!

Ashley is doing well. He is really good with Ethan. I am not worried to walk out the room for 5 minutes with him and her alone. SO that helps!

Hello all! Just thought I'd let you all know that DD#1 had her first day of pre-entry kindy on Friday and I am completely hopeless :redface: Its only for 2 hours, we live 3 seconds away and yet I still had a tear when I got home :rolleyes: ninny! :D She even said to me that after I had finished at the shops, not to come and pick her up because she wants to play for a long time, hehehe. THe little sweet heart looked very unsure when I did go and pick her up though, relieved that mummy was back. I later found out that she had been bopped on the head with a paintbrush! However......there is always two sides to every story ;) so a learning curve for all, lol.

Hope everyone is doing really well and for those south australians, staying cool!! Yeesh, yucky weather!!

DD#2 has a snuffly gaggy throat/nose atm, we slept on the couch one night and I on her floor the next. Poor little moochy gagged so much that she & I wore it :rolleyes: ahhhh noice! :D But still happy and chatty the little love.

Charly - sounds like DD1 is a professional already and very brave too!

Lewis got tooth #16 this week and what a nightmare it's been, sleepless nights, no appetite and really grumpy, and that's just me :ROFL:!!
He's much better today though and we've had a lovely day. DH has been at work all day so we went out to the park and sat on the swing together for ages, singing in the sun. For some reason he hasn't realised yet that I have a terrible voice!
He has started copying words that I say which is really cute. I think his second word might be duck or cat which at the moment is guck and cak!

One thing he has been doing which concerns me a bit, is when he is being mischevious or wants to get out of his highchair, he bangs his head on the wall behind him. I"m sure I've seen this behaviour on Supernanny so am hoping it's just a frustration phase! Does anyone else's little one do that?
