Babies Born June 2007 #10

Sarah - my eldest brother Nick (who is now in his 40's) used to do that. My parents took him to the doctor and he said that he was just doing it to get a reaction out of you and that he wouldn't do it hard enough to hurt himself. Little cherub. :rolleyes:

We've just helped my parents move. They now live 2 hours away, which is good and bad. I'll miss them, although it's nice to finally have my house back. They moved in 2 months before Caeleb was born... so they've been here a long time!

Charly - I can sympathise with the sick DD. Caeleb's had a similar thing. Must be going around. We finally found him a playgroup which I really really like and he goes and gets a cold the very next day! :doh: So, we missed playgroup, the playgroup trip to the zoo and swimming this week. He's been teething on-top of it all too. Although we're yet to see any evidence of teeth. LOL I bought him a baltic amber teething necklace to help with the pain and it seems to be working. DH was very sceptical at first... now not so much... maybe a little.

Don't you hate it when you sit down to catch up on BellyBelly and it goes quiet? And you think... what's he up to?!? :rofl:

Update on my cysts. The one that was causing the pain has collapsed, but the one on the left is larger. It's not causing any pain, so they're just going to keep and eye on it. It was the best scan I've ever done. The girl who did it, I say girl because she was younger than me, but she's a woman. Anyway, she was just so lovely. Went all over the baby and was showing us little fingers and toes. She took some more photos for us too. The ob that I saw at the hospital wants me to have my scan at 18 weeks. I swear I had it at 19 with Caeleb. Does it make any difference? Is it better to wait that week longer?

Okay, it's been quiet for a whole two minutes, which can only mean trouble. Hope you're all enjoying your weekends.

Hi everyone! Sorry I've been MIA lately but we're short staffed in the office so I've had to start working full time - probably till after xmas - so I've been very tired. So much for the sleepiness disappearing in the 2nd trimester!!!

I havent had a chance to look back on all the post but will try to have a look later tonight.

I cant believe all your little ones have so many teeth!! Mikayla only has her front 8 and her bottom 2 molars have just broken through. She has a long way to catch up :) We've had the sickness bug here too. Mikayla has just gotten over a throat infection but still has a bit of a runny nose and cough. It jusst doesnt seem to want to go away!!!

Celsie I was told at my 12 weeks scan that its best to have the next one at 19 weeks (or even 3 or 4 days after that). They said that they can get a clearer picture of everything they have to check if its just after the 19 week mark. In saying that though I'm sure your OB wouldnt have suggested 18 weeks if it wasnt ok - checking on your cyst must be more of a priority to him. I hope that 2nd one doesnt flare up and give you any pain :hug:

Well best be off now. I'm making home made pizza and the bread machine is beeping (yes I'm a cheat I know!!)

Hi everyone

I have been MIA recently as I have been finishing my uni assignments. I handed my last one in this week, which means that if I pass everything, I have finished my Masters. Yay! Now to find a job...

Diana is doing really well. A few weeks ago she did the cutest thing: she got one of my singlets out of a pile I was folding and insisted on wearing it out as a dress. She looked so cute in it, like she was wearing a toga or something...

She has said her first proper word: "doggy". It sounds more like "doddy", but she says it every time she sees a dog, so that must be what she means. She also understands a lot of what is said to her, e.g. the other day I asked her to get her slippers and she went and got them and brought them to me. She knows that putting her shoes on means that we are going out and sometimes she tries to give me a hint that she wants to go to the park by bringing me her shoes and asking me to put them on her. The other day she brought me my shoes... So cute... (although not so much when it is early morning and I am trying to get a bit of a lie in...)

She loves animals and tries to play with them every chance she gets. Yesterday we went to playgroups in the park and she had a great time in the petting zoo, where she got to play with baby goats and sheep, and to look at rabbits, ducklings and chickens.

Diana is a bit slow in the teeth department too. She has a total of 11 teeth at the moment, 8 in the front and 3 molars.

Hope you're all doing well, especially all you pregnant ladies. :)

Oh Charly!!! You're SO sweet!!! And it's fine. I would not expect anyone on here to know when my birthday is. But, thank you non the less. MWAH!

I'm feeling a lot better this week. I think I've felt the baby move quite a few times now. My dear, dear friend Kerry (Kbowman) sent me her doppler than she used with her pregnancy, so I can now hear my little one's heartbeat any time I like. She's so good to me.

Caeleb is now over his cold/cough that he had, so we're out and about again. Off to visit a friend in Adelaide today and going to playgroup tomorrow. And of course swimming on Saturday. :hooray:

He's standing in the ensuite, giving me a cheeky look. He has his Daddy's Ipod and is threatening to "wash" it in the toilet. He's obsessed with water. I gave him his watering can to play with yesterday... and no sooner had I turned around and he was trying to fill it up from the toilet. I guess it's quite clever when you think about it. It is the only access he has to water in the house! LOL Either way... it wasn't going to happen!

Do you all feel like you're always saying "NO!". Caeleb's other obsession is power points and drawers. He knows he's not supposed to touch either, but I'm forever taking him away. Any ideas how to get him past this stage?

Anyway, it's potty time. Wouldn't want to have an accident in our nappy. Oh I almost forgot. I bought one of those toilet training kits with the seat and the steps that fit onto your toilet. I figure that he'll feel more like a "big boy" if he's using the toilet instead of the potty. I've seen them in baby stores and they were quite pricey. I managed to get this one from Big W for $39, so I'm happy.

Starfish congrats on finishing all your assignments :clap:I'm sure you'll pass with flying colours! Did you ever find the woman who you did the assignment for- the one that disappeared after all your hard work??

Celsie it must be amazing to hear the heartbeat whenever you want!! Glad to hear Caleb is all better now. We have thought about getting a potty for Mikayla cause I think she's definitely ready but she's going to be a flower girl in December and I'd hate for her to have an accident on the day while walking down the aisle LOL

What makes me think she's ready???? Well...... DH and I left her in the loungeroom watching Nick Jr one morning while we had a bit of a clean up. We thought it was strange that she was being so quiet so DH went to check on her. The next thing I hear is DH saying that there was sh%t all over the place. Not knowing what he was talking about I walk in to find little miss with her pj pants around her ankles and poo all over her hands!!!!! She obviously didnt like the feeling of it in her nappy so she decided to get rid of it LOL Funny now but not at all funny then!!!!

Sorry guys but this one is a little bit of a brag note from me :P My little munchkin has surprised us by already learning how to spell her name. Daddy has a little ritual he does with her in the morning. He gets her up, changes her nappy and gets her morning bottle ready and on the way he stops at the name plaque on her door and spells out her name as she points to the letters. She's now starting to repeat each letter to him and when you ask her what her name is she says "M"!!! I'm so proud of her but at the same time sad that she's growing up way too fast!!!

celsie - we have one of those toilet seats and it's been fantastic for giving DD#1 her independance faster as well as DD#2 now wants to sit on it alot. I do have to pounce on her though when she heads to the toilet with a toy in her hand, lol! She loves 'visiting' her big sister when she is on the toilet too.....I think she may train sooner just because her big sister is showing her the way

teepee - ooooohhhhhhhhh myyyyyyyyyy gooooooodness!! Yes, poo episode funny now! :hug: :D Oh my! How did you go??? DD#1 had an incident the other day - she's a rabbit and waits til she's busting sometimes before stopping her play to go relieve herself and so the consequence was poo in knickers :o and I've no idea why but my brain was treating it different to if it was a poo in a nappy..... I dry reached the whole time :rofl: DD kept asking, "Are you cross mummy?" to which I laughed and reassured her I wasn't' but could she not wait so long next time?!?!?! :lol: Oh and how clever is your little one?? Isn't it amazing when they do new things? Happy sad like you said because it also shows that they are growing up!

We had friends over yesterday with their 8wk old little bubby.....who now weighs what DD#1 weighed when she was born!!! Yeouwchy mama!! :D And DD#2 looked so so big next to this little bubby! Made me realise how fast she is growing up. She also wanted to pick the baby up all the time - and if you'd seen how she treats her toy dolls, well, you can understand my apprehension everytime she went near the 'real' dolly......ahahahahahaha!!

Oh and just for the record, didn't have a tear when I dropped DD#1 off to pre-entry kindy this morning....I just took DH & DD#2 with me...... he he he he he he

DD#1 can be a bit of a drama queen (at the tender age of almost 4 :rolleyes:) and so when she's upset, mostly if she's gotten into trouble, she'll cry and then so forlornly say, "Oh dear oh dear" through her tears.....

........well had to delay DD#2's breakfast as she had done a nice little morning surprise in her nappy for me and it upset her greatly that I was taking her away from her food. Well while on the change table crying and complaining, guess what she said?!?!?

Otherwise... she is now offically part monkey.. i find her standing on the toilet trying to flush it, YEsterday i lookedin the backyard and she was standing on top of the picnic table!!!!!! one day i will find her on the roof!

DD knows the toliet and flushes it but wont tell me when she has pooed or needs to. She does cry and run off when she has done one and doesnt want me to change her....

Awww cute nappies PP!!! :D DD#2 is probably more interested in toilet because of big sister, however! She doesn't indicate if there is something in her nappy......although this morning, DD#1 jumped up from playing and yelled, "Poo!" (she informs everyone when she needs to go to the toilet and exactly what she needs to do :lol: ) and DD#2 put her hand to her bottom and said almost forlornly too, "Poo" and then threw her toy to the ground and walked to her bedroom to her change table. So there I am, all proud as punch thinking how amazingly advanced my little one is to find that there was nothing in her nappy!! :rofl: Ah but its a start, hehehehehehe

Oh and in regards to climbing, yes, DD#2 tries where possible. I turned to see her on top of an upturned box on the tiles :o (if she was sitting on the box her legs would be dangling that's how high the box is, lol)

Oh better go, DH bathing the girls and DD#1 is being a, shall we say, testing banana and splashing her sister in the face even though she herself HATES water on her face!! Good grief! :D

BTW, no I am nowhere near thinking about toilet training. I think I will wait until he is nearer two unless he shows signs before that.

Well we have both been struck down with colds this week so no swimming or much else. Both feeling better today though. Lewis was off his food for days but am glad he is back on track now.

I went for my first acupuncture session yesterday as part as my 'pre - ttc regime"! She has given me some herbs to take which luckily are in capsule form not the stinky raw ones. So another step in the right direction hopefully. We are thinking about TTC as of december, giving me anopther month to get this body into tip top condition!

Lewis did a cute thing today. I always pretend to sneeze to make him laugh and in the car I went Ah, Ah, Ah Choo. He copied me and went Ah, Ah, Ah, ...CAR! That boy is obsessed already!

wow ive just did a major read through of 6pages+ of posts WOW all your little ones are getting so much bigger and older!! Doing amazing things, saying amazing stuff and just impressing me!! Cant imagine how proud you all are of your little (well not so little) ones!!

As you can tell by my ticker im officailly utd!! Im due 6 days after Lachies 2nd bday which is scary but if its gonna be anything like Lachie, i'll be 17days over again!! hehe (really hope not)

Lachlan is doing well, a little too well iykwim, just growing in leaps and bounds and i struggle to keep up, his newest thing is to climb up onto our lounge and muck around, laughing his head off!! and fav word of the month NO!!!

Well im really glad to hear how everyone is going, i miss being in here, will try to pop in more often so not to loose my baby buddies!!

Well the past few nights we have been putting DD in her portacot to sleep then at 10pm when DH goes to bed he picks her up and puts her in the big bed. Then in the morning she wake, climbs out and comes and sees us yay!

But still wont start off in her bed big... we will get there!


Ashley also has new words... 'fall down' 'where'd it go?' and 'go' lol

PP have you tried lying in the bed with Ashley until she goes to sleep? Thats what we do with Mikayla (otherwise she'll hop out and go play!) DH will lie with her until she falls asleep and she's usually fine after that - though recently she's been waking between 3-5am and coming into our room. As soon as she hits the pillow in our bed she's fast asleep again!!! Isnt it sooo cute when you can hear them get up and toddle into your room :D

Well my sister flies in from London on Sat morning (this time for good!). I've told Mikayla that she'll be seeing her again - last time was in Sept - dont know if she really understands but she seems quite excited. We were due to go in tomorrow for her 12 month vaccination but dont want her to be sick or grumpy on Sat so have put it off again until next Friday. She's had either a cough or cold pretty much the whole time since she was 12 months and my GP told me that she really should be 100% before the jabs but if she doesnt have it soon then it'll be too late for her 18mth one!!

Anyone else finding that their little ones arent eating much? Mikayla hasnt had much of an apetite for the last couple of weels. She's still very active and happy but doesnt really want to eat. This morning I made her an egg and a peice of toast - she ate the egg but didnt want the toast. Dropped her off at mums as I had to go to work and mum said she hasnt had much lunch at all - which seems to be the norm these days. All she seems to want to eat are grapes, blueberries or strawberries but she cant just live on fruit. My GP told me to go out and get her some vitamins which i did but theres no way in hell she'll have any. She took 1 dose when I first bought it but now she starts running away saying "no" when she sees the bottle!!!

Hope you are all well. We are fine, Lewis has a new fascination with planes, when he hears one go over he points to the sky in delight, which is fine apart from when he is supposed to be going to sleep :wall:

Teepee - I find Lewis goes through phases with his eating, but if I don't put him in his high chair and sit and feed him he won't eat much at all. Far too many other things to be doing! How are you anyway, do you have a bump yet?

I was thinking the same thing. Where is everyone!!!!

Sarah I have a HUGE bump!!! I look 30 weeks pregnant instead of 18 :lol: (well not quite but just about!) I went to see my OB on Monday and he said that with your second you usually feel and look about 10 weeks ahead of where you are!! I'd hate to imagine what I'll be like at 40 weeks!!!!!! How's the new job??

Mikayla has picked up yet another cold :doh:just when she's supposed to be having her immunisation on Friday. I hope the doc doesnt decide to put it off again - its way too long overdue as it is!!!

The little miss is becoming a real parrot lately. She repeats everything we say. And I mean EVERYTHING!!!! We've even had a few attempted expletives LOL

We are so close and I am sooooooooooooo excited to be an aunty!! She will be 12weeks tomorrow. I am an aunty already but this is really special. I can't wait to be kicked in the head by my niece or nephew.......like DD#2 did to my sister while I was pg, lol!!! I'm almost peeing myself I'm so excited!! :rofl: YAY! Have an excuse to go nuts on baby things again, hehehe. Also, we've offered quite a bit of our bubby things to her and her DH which makes it somewhat easier to part with, iykwim. I'll still have visiting rights......lol! Plus, fingers crossed I may need them back one day, titter titter.

I'll be back later to do some more updates on my cherubs, but I just had to share!!! :cheer:

Teepee - ashley lost her appetite a week or 2 ago - turns out she got hand foot and mouth from the playgym! but her appetite is back now :)

It turns out Mikayla has a bad cold and yet another throat infection - 3rd one in 6 months - so we had to put her 12 month vacc off again! We weren't happy about it but our doc said that she really needs to be clear of any infection before she can have it. She's on antibiotics again and I need to take her straight back when I think she's better to have her vacc just incase it flares up again. He's told me to give her 2 course of a/b's this time to make sure it clears up - hopefully for good!!

I've been having a few spewy days lately and feeling a little off but apart from that all is going well. I think I'll probably come down with her cold soon too :doh:

Ashleys 18month shots are next month - the same time at DS's 2 month shots... so that will be interesting.... busy for me in that nurses office! lol

I'm alive!!! Sorry for being MIA AGAIN... but I have a good excuse. I've been on holidays with my gorgeous little family. So, you can't really hold that against me. ;)

Tina - I'm still vomiting from time to time too. It's driving me insane! I had no morning sickness past the 14 week mark with Caeleb and this one just seems to be going on and on. Are you having any kicks yet? I've been having little kicks and flutters for about 2 weeks now. It's funny, because when I was PG with Caeleb, they were really strong by now. I remember at the 19 week scan, I could feel the kick and see it on the screen at the same time. And my belly is so much smaller this time around. I hardly look pregnant at all... I've got the "Is she pregnant or just a little bit fat?" bump happening. :rolleyes:

Charly - wonderful news about your sister!!! :hooray: I can understand your excitement. I'd LOVE to have a sister to share that sort of journey with, but since I was the only girl out of four children, I don't think that's going to happen anytime soon. :lol:

Sarah - how's the TTC journey going? I've been hoping that you'd pop in with a :bfp: and suprise us. I have everything crossed for you my lovely. I'm sure you'll be joining Tina and I in our morning sickness complaints in no time.

PP - how's that gorgeous little man of yours going? It only seems like yesterday that you made your birth annoucement and now you're talking about 2 month old vaccinations. Crazy how time flys huh?

Update from our little world. Caeleb now has eight teeth. He had four and then while we were away, he cut another four, just like that. We couldn't believe it. And he really wasn't even that grumpy. Just a little unsettled during the night.

Speaking of being unsettled during the night... we are FINALLY SLEEPING THROUGH! I'm so proud of him. I know most other children were sleeping through by six months, but we did it our way with gentle sleep solutions and he's done it in his own time. He'd been sleeping for 7 hours or so straight since about six months, but we couldn't crack the all night sleep that we'd heard so much about. So, a big pat on the back for Caeleb!!!

We've also started to use our words a lot more. He's got loads of words that he's said once and never seemed to say again and now they're just popping up all the time. My favourite at the moment is "Bob". Bob is one of our cats. I just love the ways he says it. Like it's the most important word in the whole world.

My 19 week scan isn't until next Thursday week, so I'm a little frustrated I have to wait that long to see the little bubba again. I feel so terrible. Almost the moment that I'd found out I was pregnant with Caeleb, I was out buying things. This time around, I've bought nothing. I don't even know why... maybe because we've got SO much stuff from when Caeleb was a baby. I see loads of cute little baby things and I never get the urge to buy anything. That's just not normal behaviour... LOL

Anyway... Caeleb's getting tired and needs a nap! Hope you're all doing well and I look forward to hearing from you all soon!

Charly - Congrats on your sister's pregnancy, how exciting:dance: And I'm sure it will remind DH just how cuddly newborns are and how you NEED another one in your house ;)

Teepee - How funny that Mikalyla is already picking up certain words, who knew you had to mind your language so soon! I'm sure you don't look 30 weeks pregnant BTW, although they do say that muscle memory means it just stretches right out again don't they?! Mine hasn't shrunk back in yet anyway!

Celsie - so you're hardly showing? You must have stomach muscles of steel! Congrats on Caeleb sleeping through finally, just in time for the new bub!

Are either of you finding out the sex of your baby this time?

We are fine, I'm not TTC until next month, am taking chinese herbs and acupuncture to get my body ready, so December is the big month! Since I've been having the herbs I have noticed strong ovulation signs which I've never had before so hopefully that's a good sign.

Lewis still isn't saying many words but he does plenty of new actions. He points to the sky when a plane goes over and he points to his head when he sees a hat. He also tickles his own feet if you ask him to! He does chat non stop but still only really says car and cak (duck) that is clear to me.

I put a santa outfit on him the other day to take a photo for this year's xmas card. Well that was a challenge getting him to sit still or keep the hat on. I still haven't managed to get a good one.:wall:

What is everyone getting the little ones for Christmas? We aren't going crazy just getting him some blocks, bath toys etc. His grandparents have bought him a big tonka truck which he will love.

Sarah we've bought Mikayla a trampoline for christmas. She had a go on a friends one a while back and absolutely loved it! I know she's probably still too little but we got one with a net around it so I can just pop her in and she can play to her hearts content!! I figured it would be good for her co-ordination too - she tries to jump all the time - very funny sight. She squats right down and then springs back up again really quickly - her feet never leave the ground of course but none-the-less she thinks she's jumping :lol:

M is still not over the throat infection which is getting a little frustrating. On 2nd course of antibiotics. If she's not better in couple of days I think I'll take her to see the paediatrician!!

Oh and Miss Charly!! Just following on from my other post, in the other thread, in the other place..... You'd better not disappear on us in here too or you'll be in BIIIIIGGGGG trouble!!! We could never go on without your bright and cheerful posts!!! Who else is going to make us all laugh :D :D

Tina - have you had your 19 week scan yet? I'm not having mine till next Thursday. We're not finding out what the gender is, so it's just a case of finding out if the baby is all healthy.

Sarah - We've got Caeleb a trampoline for Christmas too. He's never been on one, but it's got padding and a net around it, so I think it's quite safe. We've also bought him a swing set. That's actually worked out to be the cheapest part of the present. Buying shade sails, poles to attach them to, cement to secure them in the ground and then soft bark chips for him to land on is far more expensive. :rolleyes:

Caeleb also "jumps". He's so funny and yet so proud of himself.

Ooooh :goodidea: girls, Lewis loves going on his cousin's trampoline, he giggles non stop! He thinks he's jumping but he's actually just standing there while his cousin jumps which makes him spring into the air, bless him!

Hope you are all doing well.

Diana has been sick recently. She had conjunctivitis and a fever, but luckily she seems to be over it now. I'm glad she didn't need antibiotics or anything as she refuses to take them.

Wow, lucky bubs getting trampolines for Christmas. I would love to get one for Diana, but alas we don't have a yard, so its not an option. Maybe she can come and visit one of you to play...

Diana is saying a few wo36rds: mama, daddy, mummy, baby, and duck. She understands a lot of what we tell her, e.g. if we tell her to bring her shoes she does, or if we tell her to pass the pall to someone she does. Its very cute.

Tina - hope Mikayla gets better soon. Hope she's better at taking her medicine than Diana is ;)

Sarah - good luck with TTC.

Celsie - congratulations on getting Caeleb to sleep through. :clap: Diana is mostly sleeping through too, but some nights she wakes up (and others she refuses to go to sleep until after midnight :rolleyes:).

Charly - congratulations on your sister's pregnancy. You will no doubt be a great aunty. :D

Celsie we had our scan yesterday. Bub was moving around so much it was hard for them to get a clear shot and took a while to get measurements but they said that everything was perfect and bubs is measuring 1 day ahead (which is right by my original calcs) but i'll just stick to 18th now. I was very tempted to find out the sex - mostly because I dont want Matt to be disappointed if its another girl - but he said he really doesnt care and wants it to be a surprise and when she asked if we wanted to know he was very quick to say no!!

Zofia its great to hear from you. I hope Diana is all better now. Its horrible when they're sick isnt it? I'm pretty lucky with Mikayla because she loves her antibiotics - even to the point that she asks for "more"!!!!

I'd be more than happy for you to come to our place and use the trampoline :D Maybe we can arrange something in the new year. I'd love to see Lewis & Diana again - they both must be all grown up now!!

I'm having my scan tomorrow and quietly, I'm terrified. I'm so small. I'm really worried that the baby isn't growing properly. We're not finding out the gender either, but at this stage, I'll just be happy to know the baby is okay. Caeleb flopped down, right on my belly this afternoon. I hope he didn't hurt the baby...

Well... I've had my scan and everything is okay I think... not that they would say if there wasn't. Baby looks a lot like Caeleb (in the face). We got a good look at the "important parts" although we asked her not to say... but I asked on the sly on the way out, so I know what baby is... but I'm keeping it to myself. My little secret. DH doesn't know I asked and he doesn't want to know, so I'm keeping quiet. :shhh:

Thats' good Celsie you must feel relieved. You must be soooo excited to know what you are having, won't you slip up to DH??

I can't share in here, because there are people who know me IRL who post on BB, who might read the posts. It wouldn't be right if they knew and DH didn't.

Tina - sorry, they didn't give me any photos of "important bits". Actually, all the photos I've had this time around have been of very poor quality. None of them are particularly clear. Even the video they took is a little iffy.

Caeleb woke up at 5:30am this morning with some sort of "issue". So, we changed his nappy, gave him a bottle, some bonjela and a shot of panadol. He stopped crying and screaming but refused to go back to sleep. So now... it's 10:30am and he's walking around like a bear with a sore head, grumping and groaning because he's tired. The poor Christmas Tree is taking the most punishment from his bad mood... decorations are flying here, there and everywhere. I'm almost at the point of taking it down.

Do your kids have computer envy? The moment I get the laptop out to post on BB, Caeleb will launch an attack on it. Trying to close the lid, press buttons or push it off my lap so he can sit on there. :rolleyes:

Celsie - ashley has more of a computer hatred than envy lol... as soon as i turn to enter the study she cracks it! doesnt matter if i am using the computer or not she hates me in here..... lucky DH is looking at a laptop so i can use it in the playroom while she is playing!!!


Tina - woohoo on your scan! oooh the fun you are all going to have with 2 kidlets! lol

Well ashley is booked into FDC in janurary. the carer is lovely but i am not sure how she will go again... we are trying 2 days this time though. hope it makes a difference!

Celsie - Lewis also hates it when I'm on the computer, unless I show him photos of himself or go on the Thomas website. I've started keeping his cars close by and giving them to him to distract him. Although he just likes to push his cars across the keyboard then....:wall:

Now, I've picked up some vibes from Tina's scan photo and Celsie's posts and I officially predict 2 boys. (Yes I know I said 3 girls originally but PP proved me wrong on that one :redface:)

Hiya all.. long time no hear. I dont really get to much of a chance to get online these days, Aiden certainly does have something against the computer, seems he can be playing happily, and, as soon as i turn the computer on, he starts playing up, or, pressing buttons on monitor, harddrive, keyboard, so, i sorta have given up on the computer thing now.

I have only read posts on this page, starting off with Lewis loving the trampolines.. Aiden has been in a bouncy castle, just sat while the kids bounced around him, loved it. Getting him a small trampoline for christmas, has a handle bar type set up so he can hold onto it, and bounce. He has started bouncing on our bed, so, i dont imagine it will take to long to get him going on the tramp.

Glad to hear everyone's pregnancy's are going well. Its abit exciting isnt it. We had a check up on Wednesday (at 16weeks) and the Obs confirmed it was a little boy. Its a very deffinate boy to. No mistaking it. Very active as well which was good. Have not been feeling over confident about the success of this pregnancy for some reason, perhaps its cause its #2, and, not having the same novelty or excitment as #1, or, even being able to have the time to focus on being pregnanent this time around, dont know, but, until my scan on Wednesday, just sorta put the whole thing at the back of my mind. Now, seeing my little man kicking up a storm in there, am finaly feeling positive, and starting to prepare for it.

PP - Aiden is throwing, and hitting me, biting me occasionally as well. But, only me, not DH. i think its a testing thing. We tell him to be gentle, throwing is for balls, outside etc. We dont hit blah blah, but, its difficult to reason with them at this stage. The biting i think is generally an attention thing, it seems to be when he's tired, or hungry, just has a need that i have figure out. Hasnt done it for a while now thank god. It may be just a stage she is going thru as she adjusts to not being the centre of attention any more. Good luck with FDC next year..hope she settles in.

Anyway, betta scoot. Aiden seems to have fallen into a half decent routine at the moment, daylight savings has been a god send really. He plays outside with Darren after dinner till about 8pm now. He goes to bed about 9pm, sleeps till 9am, and then back down for a nap from about 2 till 4, so, hopefully, if he keeps that up, I will get more done, and perhaps, just perhaps, able to catch up in here abit more. I have not worried about my belly buddies this time, its a really big group, not as personal, i much preferred the smaller one here.
