ok I shall start by saying that I am a complete ningcumpoop! I had typed this long post and for some reason, clicked and closed my internet connection, ah twit!
Anyways! Girls are in bed, DH @ work & even though I really should be 'working' I really wanted to come in here and prove to you that I haven't fallen off the face of the earth (still here Teepee! Promise!! xx) I have been keeping up with reading though.
Soooooo.....
.......Hellooooooo!! :grouphug:
So exciting to hear about all the pregnancies! :cheer: Celsie! Omg!! How are you not going to tell your DH?!?!?!?! I understand you not posting your findings in this thread but um, are you aware we have PM???
Debbie - I completely forgot you were pregnant!! So exciting!!!! I felt the same the second time around, not so 'pumped' about my pg, more focussed on DD#1 and it felt like my pg flew by so fast that I forgot to savour a few moments due to lack of concentration, lol!
So there seems to be a boy thing happening in here then?? Hehehehehehe
Well, a little update on my little piece of heaven:
DD#2 is a violent little sausage :D and all with a cheeky grin on her face the little rabbit! Oh and hair pulling! Only ever pulls her big sister's and its completely gross when DD#2 comes to me all concerned about the clump of hair she has in her hand  Also into hitting (again with the grin) and just will not listen to "Stop" - it's crazy coz DD#1 would when she was little!! So we have had to resort to cot time on a couple of occasions just to break the cycle. Its only ever for a couple of minutes with her door open - her bedroom is right next to the kitchen (& we have open plan living) so its not completely isolated. However, it seems to do the trick for that little bit of time.
DD#2 is also an obsessive door/drawer closer!! If we are busy in the kitchen, obviously doors are open and within seconds, they're closed!! So mind your head if you're looking into the fridge at that moment! Lol!
Yep, has computer jealously too! Although, only the one in the studio as that is a separate room and she really doesn't like mummy disappearing - its like we are supposed to share each and every molecule of oxygen! It got to the point of finding it hard to potter with my 'work' so have set up a craft table and cupboard out in the dining/living area so I can pop over to the table every now and then and DD#2 doesn't completely go nuts. Although, that's when she says "Peas (please)" with her arms out for a cuddle, awww, so cute!
DD#2 is trying every word possible these days. Oh and she sings her version of "Twinkle Twinkle" - never the words as such, just the sounds. Here, let me demonstrate:
Twinkle Twinkle little Star Eeee eeeee ahhh ahhhh
How I wonder what you are Owwww ahhhhh owwww ahhhh ahhhh
Up above the world so high Bup bah bah bah bup ai
Like a diamond in the sky Ahhh aiyyyeeeee
Twinkle Twinkle little Star Eeee eeeee ahhh ahhhh
How I wonder what you are Owwww ahhhhh owwww ahhhh ahhhh
I am really loving her age now! I think she thinks that she is the same age as her big sister so tries to do all that her big sister does, lol. Oh and!! This is hilarious!! DD#2 will laugh at anything, anytime, or even for no reason at all!! Sometimes, the little hand even goes up to the mouth while she laughs!! Sometimes, she'll simply start with an over dramatic fake laugh until she is laughing her guts out for real - so so funny! She also loves things on her head - hair pieces, hats, buckets.........
Then there's my first baby almost finished pre-entry gearing up for full time kindy next year, gosh time realllllllly flies! DD#1's social calender makes mine look so lame! Dance on Wednesday, swimming Thursday and kindy Friday! Next year it will be kindy Mon, Tues & Thurs, dance Wednesday and swimming Friday - gordon bennet!!!
Oh and my sister has a cute little podge happening now, hehehe. Gave her a whole heap of the neutral baby clothes the other night. Oh and so special - she has told me she wants me right outside the door when bubba is born so I can come in just after the event and be there with her and have a cuddle *tearing up* Oh I am so excited!!
So, nothing much happening here.....bah hahahahahahaha!!
HOW'S EVERYONE'S CHRISTMAS PREP GOING?!?!?!
We are taking the girls to the Magic Cave next week! Yay!!! DH has really gotten into it this year, its so fun coz usually its me who wants to be all festive and he's like, "meh". He has even bought a couple of outside lights - nothing too fancy but still pretty.
Woah, sorry long post! Just wanted to keep you up to date with our happenings and let you all know I am keeping up to date with you all!! Ok, have a 4year old on my lap who really-eally should be in bed so better go pop her back (oh and DD#2 is singing, lol)
Take care all, chat soon
Mwa!!
Just me, again :D
Had to share  if you haven't already seen my post in the baby gen discussion area..... we're missing a connect 4 piece and cannot find it anywhere :wall: so we are being left with one final explanation.........we shall find it within the week - in DD#2's poo!!
:wall:
have taken her to dr and she appears completely fine - its just the fact that I decided to pack up the game when I saw a piece of the game in her mouth (which we took out) - it was only in packing up the game that we realised a piece was missing. DD#1 has since informed me that she too was putting pieces in her mouth, grrrrr. I know my eldest is only 4 - I just find myself forgetting this so get cross when she does things after I've informed her not tooooooooooooo :wall: its alright, she is so not to blame, I am :( and DD#2 is half way through cutting 6 teeth at once!!! :o Gordon Bennett!!
On an up note, lol, we've finally gotten around to painting DD#1's wall which in turn has made us decide to do the other 2 walls a complimentary purple (prob close to lavender) to compliment the now green wall - its not as garish as it sounds, lol!! DD#1 slept on her mattress on DD#2's floor last night.......well, eventually slept and now DD#2 in particular is so so grumpy!!
Ah, sorry loves, had to vent, hope you don't mind *blush*. Ok, off to continue my mass Christmas card production, hehehe, as well as cuddles for the little lass.
Mwa!!
Well, I'm never coming over to play connect four at your house Charly! Just kidding  In all seriousness, I hope the missing piece is just under the couch and you won't have to "search" for it...
DH felt the baby kick for the first time tonight.
Oh dear, sometimes they just have the devil in them don't they? And I know what you men about him laughing at you. Lewis bangs on the TV and when I twell him its naughty he just laughs. If I bring him away he runs back thinking its a great game. How do you discipline them when they do this?
DH also works long hours and I honestly look forward to Tuesdays when i go to work and DH stays at home with him as I need a break so I know how tiring it is when it's just you.
Hopefully today will be a new day and he will be a little angel :D
Hi Girls! im back!!!
probably didnt even miss me (its ok i know you did).
well where to start?
Been missing due to....no excuse really just lazy male genes that dont allow me to do something like communicate regularly.
started work at Anaconda about three weeks ago. its ok nothing brain straining but public interaction is good.
Nate :wall: = small human that can change between angelic and demonic in the blink of an eye and is prone to bouts of greed, agression, love, hugs, kisses, singing, crying, screaming, grunting, dancing, rumaging, throwing, biting, dribbling, love, kisses, and then in the next ten minutes the ability to totaly amaze me with a new feat of independance or ability every day.
cant help but love him:lol:
its amazing to hear how many of you are pregnant. dont you know what causes it yet. thought you might have learnt the first time. lol. would dearly love another myself but just waiting for the right time to come along so to speak.
lookng forward to christmas. we had to put our christmas tree on the dinning room table and move the chairs away. problem solved except at dinner when i have to get the chairs back out again. have got some great big boxes that im going to wrap up and let him play with so we save some money, that way my present can be bigger.
other than that all is fine and dandy. might go fishing tommorrow after i drop him off at FDC or i might go back to bed. will decide tommorrow.
till next time ciao
dragonstorm
Oh dragonstorm!! you are SO funny!! Love your posts!! I was going to pull out some of the stuff you said to comment but then realised, I agree with everything you said! ah too funny!!
Hey Charly - any sign of the connect 4 piece??!
Nope! and still can't find the darn thing anywhere!! :wall: We did have a worry on the weekend as we had to take DD#1 to hospital with severe gut pain and vomiting :o ..... just looks like it was a bug, maybe gastro? but it was only top end......
so MumofLewis, the mystery deepens......
P.S. Celsie.....it looks like it may be safe to come play after all
Oh Charly that would be driving me batty not knowing where that piece is. I bet one of the girls stashed it somewhere "safe". Caeleb's always hiding his spoons and forks in his secret hiding spot down the side of his high chair.
I've just averted a Christmas disaster. Tate has been busy (working like a dog more like it!) getting the area ready for the play equipment for Caeleb's Christmas present. He's cleared the area, had 8 X 1 metre holes dug, filled them up with concrete and a 3 metre wooden poles, painted them and is about to put the shade sails on them this weekend. He's also putting up the swing set that I'd put on lay-by in July. Tate picked it up a few weeks ago. I hadn't even looked at it. I assumed all was okay. WRONG! It was the wrong one! They'd put the wrong one on lay-by for me. So, I took it back. No worries, got my money back. Problem is, no-one has any swings sets left!!! Argh!!! Luckily though, I called Hills and they had them. So, I have a courier on his way to get it for me. Saves me a few hours of driving and Caeleb will get his swing set for Christmas as planned. Phew!!!
My bump has finally made an appearance. I don't look like I've been eating too much pizza anymore! LOL And I can eat again which is nice. :)
This baby is so different to Caeleb. Caeleb was a little fire cracker from the 1st time I felt him move till... well, he still is. Never sits still for a minute. Always has ants in his pants. This one doesn't seem to kick anywhere near as much. Maybe I'm just too busy to notice...
Tina - I have to asked... how are your bits?!? ROFL - Mine are all swollen are sore ALREADY! I swear this didn't happen till much later the first time around. They never looked the same after having Caeleb... so I can only imagine what I'm going to see after this one is going to be born *shudders*.
Okay, now I've grossed you all out... I'll go! LOL
Hi all
Celsie - we all have some terrible mummy moments. Gosh, i am guilty of many. Thankfully, they are getting less these days, but, i have thrown some wobblies in my time, and spent days after blaming myself, and so hard on myself for the way i had reacted. I guess its all normal.
That play area that Tate is building sounds great thou.. I am sure it will be all worth the long days and hard work. I am glad you found the right swing set. What a pain.
Not much happening here. Aiden having a lovely day sleep at the moment. Has had a few rough ones this week, its so nice for him to actually be having a good sleep. He should sleep well tonight then.
Still not looking preg.. except for my bb's! I have put on about 5 or 6 kgs so far, (trying to be good this time around, after putting on 18kg with Aiden) and, I reckon most of that weight is in my bb's. And my butt.... Oh well, its all for a good cause, but, it would be nice to have a bump, and to actually look pregnant.
I guess all the kids are the same atm.. but, isnt it amazing how they can go from being little 'adults' almost, seeming mature, placid etc, easy going, and being like that for days, lulling you into a false sense of security.. that.. wow, you are in control, things are going great.. and then.. for no apparent reason.. BANG! suddenly this screaming tantraum throwing child is grizzling at your feet. We have had some wonderfull weeks, but, the last few days seem to have gone backwards.. hopefully, so far, today has been great. We had a meetup at a very child friendly park near the city, and it was lovely to be able to relax and chat to the other mums, knowing that the fences where keeping the little ones in. It was small area, and Aiden played happy as, not needing me at all, and it was great to see that independance develope.
Well, Charly, hope you find your puzzle peice..... it will show up, it always does, just a matter of timing really, most likely when you are looking for something else..
Hope you are all well,
xx
Debbie - Can't agree more, it's so nice going to a park that is fenced in. There are plenty near me that aren't and I spend all the time chasing him around.
So do you find if Aiden sleeps well in the day he sleeps well at night too? I've often wonderd that myself.
Lewis is starting to say a few more things like 'what's that' and what's this' to everything. He also says 'key' when we are ready to go out (which is a good reminder to me!) And when you ask him where's his nose, eyes etc he will point, although often to the wrong place. Yesterday I asked him where's your Thomas book and he pointed to his face
I have been temping this month so am unofficially in the 2ww. I say unofficially because my temps aren't that accurate because Lewis wakes up at different times each day. Anyway Christmas day would be day 28 so watch this space.....
Ooooh Celsie forgot all about the lovely side effects of being preggers.
Sarah, def, if Aiden has a good day sleep, he sleeps wonderfully over night. Yesterday, after the park, he slept for 3 hours solid. I did give him a dream feed about 30min in, as, i knew he hadnt had anything substancial to eat, and i didnt want him waking up grumpy and hungry after only an hour.
Last night, other then waking just before midnight cause he couldnt find his dummy, i havent heard a peep, where as the previous 2 nights, where his day sleeps where only about 45min, he was wide awake at 4am, and i was leaving him to play in his cot till he went back to sleep about 2hours later, and still, he was awake again at 7, and grumpy as anything for the rest of the day.
You would think it would be the other way around, no day sleep, better night sleep, but, they need to feel rested and content sorta i guess.
Anyway - best of luck. I hope you get a BFP soon!! How long did it take you with Lewis?
it took 20 months last time with IVF etc. This time I'm trying TCM and acupuncture instead, so who knows...
Good luck Sarah!!! :crossfingers:
that was going to be my next step as well.
Best of luck!
Hi everyone
Been a bit quiet here recently... Hope everyone is doing well and not getting too stressed out with Christmas shopping and stuff.
Well, I think I win the bad mummy award for the year: DH put Diana on the potty on Saturday and then called out to me in a very surprised voice "why is Diana wearing no nappy?". I went to check, and sure enough, she didn't have one. I know that she didn't take it off herself, so the only explanation is that I forgot to put one on her when I dressed her in the morning. Doh! I have no idea how I could have done that. To Diana's credit, she didn't wee or poo during her nappy free morning.
Debbie - Diana is the same - the better she sleeps during the day the better she sleeps at night and vice versa if she doesn't get a decent nap during the day.
Sarah - good luck with TTC.
Hi to everyone else. I will try to post again tomorrow.
Starfish - awww you're not a bad mummy!! Diana maybe is just showing you she's ready for TT......."Well mummy didn't put that big white thing on me this morning so hey! I'll just hold it in!" :) Oh my parents did that once but they actually got out the house to their destination before they realised upon picking their little one up that, ooh, no nappy at all!! Thank goodness for packed nappy bags!! Lol!
Sorry been MIA too....DH & I have been holed up in our bedroom .... tmi warning ..... vomiting both ends!! :o Thank goodness for MIL!! She's an angel for sure! Stayed the night and everything. Our little ones are fine thank goodness although on Sunday, DD#2 vomited all over me! She was sitting on my lap facing me and so had no where to go except me! but that's all she did so we thought that maybe she ate too much breakfast too fast and then skulled her milk too fast and then ran around too soon (now there's a bad mummy moment!) and so I bore the fruit (and weetbix) of consequence....ewwwwww. But DH & I had temps, aches, the lot so :dunno: Anyways, we're coming good to make that last mad dash to the christmas finish line now! Eeeep!
Seriously though, DD#2 shovels like a coal train!! We're trying to teach her to slow down but I swear she thinks the food will disappear if she doesn't keep it comin'!! DD#2 has also become an even bigger copy cat. She will immediately copy what her big sister does, good or bad :wall: Pegs wooden blocks straight at her head........maybe hold off on coming round to play Celsie whilst I tame my bull dozer! *blush*
oh................No game piece
Charly - sorry to hear that you have been sick. Thank goodness for MIL hey. I guess they come in useful from time to time. Hope you are all fit and healthy for christmas! Maybe Santa will bring a new puzzle peice..
Zofia - we all have moments of blankness.. especially if we're tired. You know that "i will just do that in a minute' and next thing you know, 1/2hr later and its completly out of our minds.. Good on Diana for holding it all in thou.
Aiden didnt have a sleep at all on Tuesday, we had to go to our 19week scan, so, after playgroup, i took Aiden to MIL's, he fell asleep in teh car as expected about 3min from her house, but, the moment he realised he wasnt going into his own bed, he woke up.. So, i left him, in the hope he would be so tired, he would go back to sleep, but, no such luck. We had a bad Tuesday night, it took me an hour of driving him yesterday to get him to fall asleep (after spending nearly an hour of him being a tired screaming hysterical mess trying to get him to sleep in his cot) only, to have him wake up again after being asleep for about 20min. Slightly better last night, and hopefully, will get him to have a proper day sleep today. Its surprising how quickly we get used to a full nights sleep.
I dont know what i will do know when Bubba #2 comes along. The original plan was for MIL to take time off work, and have Aiden during the day, while i was in hospital, and DH to take time off work when i get home from hospital (he's a subby, so he doesnt get paid if he doesnt work) However, if Aiden wont have a day sleep while at MIL's house, he will be a mess. He will be almost 2, but, i am sure still needing a day sleep. I am thinking that MIL will have to be my house, instead of Aiden being at her house, so that he goes to sleep in his own bed.. Just another thing for me to worry about..
Anyway, he's just about finished his breakfast, apparently, he's hungry today, a bottle, a peice of toast, and a banana. Normally, its a bottle and about 1/2 if that of the toast..
Catch up with you all later..
xx
Hi girls!
Debbie. How long are you planning on staying at hospital? I came home the next day (Ethan was born at home then went to the hospital at 1130pm for stitches)... and so no need to care for Ashley elsewhere.
She is the same wont sleep at anyones house. doesnt even like to be left at anyones house.
willbe interesting to see how FDC goes in janurary!
Sorry i have been MIA a lot girls... you know how is could be with 2 bubs under 18 months... can you believe ethan is now 10 weeks!!! omg
Ashley is a real cheeky monkey now. Very smart that i cant fool her.. we ar ein the process of toliet training . she recognises when she needs to pee and poo and occasionally we get it in the toliet lol.
today in the backyard we had nudie time and she started topee - pointed at her vajayjay and then looked at me and went pwoah (this is her word and she waved her hnad into fron of her nose lol)... hehe.
starfish. it sounds like she is getting ready for tt. easpeically if she is holdin on for a hour or two!! Ashley is the same and doesnt like nappys on atm hehe. Luckily she hasnt worked out how to get the snapped cloth nappies off! lol the velcro yes but not the snap!
we bought undies and i let her wear them occasionally but she pees everywhere !lol sick of mopping hehe.
well better go Ethan is waking... (he hasnt pooed in 3 days... so waiting for the explosion)
mwah
Hey PP fancy those Hewitts pinching Ethans middle name!
I actually feel really sorry for them. I've seen articles calling them "Copy Cats" for choosing a name that the Beckhams have already used. Why shouldn't they use it. They can have any name in the world they like!!! At least it's a nice name!!! I don't think it would have mattered what name they picked... celebrity's always get slammed no matter what when it comes to their kids.
Anyway...
Having a somewhat lazy day today. Really tired. I've baked a batch of gingerbread biscuits... and that's about it. Waiting for DH to get home and take Caeleb for a walk before I attempt another batch. It's too hard keeping an eye on him and baking. I've literally made 100's of the damn things. Christmas presents for friends and relatives. I did it last year and everyone loved them. Seemed like such a good idea at the time...
How is everyone else going with their Christmas preparations?
lol i know!!! who cares about posh and becks!
they could have asked me! lol
but i agree celsie.. is it really that bad to have 3 cruz's in this world? (4 if you count our late puppy)
posh & becks....pfft! I completely understand the feelings of celebrities getting slammed though.....happened to me...............we named DD#2 "Chloe", next minute, Carmella (character from neighbours) pops out her "Chloe"! I mean really! The cheek of it all!
Christmas presents bought and all accounted for ............ ahhh whooopeeeeeee!! Dh & I had to drag ourselves about today (dropped kidlets off to MIL) coz it was really our last opportunity to get it done. But we conquered!! And bless Mr Rudd......we have our first bbq!!  Now to finalise the menu.........
Celsie - oh you're so sweet! Yes, those things we do and think, "How great!!" But you're so lovely to do it again!! Sounds more cost effective too!
Hey Celsie,
Is it a good recipe for Gingerbread cookies? Do you want to share it with us?
Yes its annoying when celebs come out and name their babies after yours, I mean I'd love to call my next son Bronx Mowgli but Ashlee Simpson has beaten me to it!
You girls are hilarious!!! I have to agree with Charly about Neighbours though... I swear they were reading our thread around the time our kiddlets were born. Not only did "Chloe" make her grand entrance, but you may remember there was a male character who took Sky away called... you guesed it! CALEB!!!
And... Seven has been looking over my shoulder too! My top boy's name on my list... Eli. And their new show is called... Eli Stone. Coincidence? I THINK NOT!!!
The gingerbread isn't actually that fabulous Sarah, but I'm far too lazy to go trying a new recipe out now!!! I got it from the "Taste" website, but I'll be searching for a better one next year. I actually think it's missing an ingredient, because after you add the flour it's way too dry and I have to add some milk to make it to a dough.
we should be demanding royalties or commission or something!!
:cheer:CHLOE JUST DID HER FIRST WEE IN THE TOILET!!!!:cheer:
MERRY CHRISTMAS MUMMY!!!!!
Congratulations Chloe and Charly!!! Very exciting news!!! Well done!!! :hooray:
Probably won't get a chance to come online for a few days so....
MERRY CHRISTMAS JUNE MUMMIES AND BUBBAS!!!
Hope Father Christmas brings you all loads of pressies!!! Stay safe on the roads and I look forward to another fabulous year with all you lovely ladies and our one gentleman.
Yes Merry Christmas to you all, hope it's a great day for those little ones :D
Merry Christmas June Beauties!!!!
Have a safe, precious one full of sweet memories xx
To the pg ones - a big year ahead sweeties!! So exciting!!
PP - Merry FIRST Christmas to your little one!!
To those TTC - 1000 barrels of baby dust from me & my girls to you!! MWA!!
Soooooo looking forward to tomorrow as I watch DD#2 really interact with Christmas for the first time! She helped her big sister put out a nip of port and some cookies for Santa and a bowl of milk and a carrot outside for Rudolph! She even taste tested carrot dipped in milk, just to be sure ;) :D
Its almost 9pm and DD#1 has so caught onto Christmas that she isn't asleep yet......so mummy & daddy need to stay awake to wait for her to fall asleep so we can sneak gifties from 'Santa' under the tree!! Lol!!
Ok, off to watch carols now, love to you all!!!
MWA!!
Wow it's been quiet round here! Everyone must be out shopping in the sales!
Hope you all have a lovely NYE, we will be having friends over as we can see the fireworks from our place which is handy. I'm wondering if Lewis can stay awake for the 9pm fireworks and if he will really care about them anyway?!
Anybody got any resolutions for 2009? Mine are pretty much the same as usual, you know get fit, eat healthy etc the ones that last about a week  I do also want to move house and get pregnant so hopefully a big year for us.
Anyway see you all in 2009. Have a safe and happy one tonight!
Hi everyone
Hope you all had lovely Christmas celebrations and that Santa was good to all the bubbas (and the parents too of course). We had a quiet one at home, which was really nice. Diana's favourite gift was a pram for her dolls, which she has been taking out with her a lot recently. She also got a xylophone and a cute talking and singing phone from her aunty, so she has been having lots of fun. On Christmas Day Diana went to the bathroom, got the potty and insisted that DH put her on it. Her nappy was clean and dry, she sat on the potty and did a wee! We are so proud of her. She has done it again about two or three times since, so here's hoping that she will be ready for full toilet training soon.
For NYE we are going to watch the fireworks at 9:00pm. Diana has been what DH calls "nightclub baby" recently, which means that she has been staying up and going to bed at the same time that we do, so she may stay up for the midnight fireworks too (although maybe we, i.e. the parents won't even last that long...).
Hope you all have a great NYE, a fantastic day tomorrow and an awesome 2009! My resolution is to do some art every day. This year I bought lots of paints, canvases and craft materials, so next year I am going to use them.
Best wishes to everyone! :D
Happy New Year!!!!
Just a quick one, a funny one to start the year..... lol.....
I don't know if you remember my worry a few weeks ago regarding a missing game piece......well, we took the decorations down today, including the tree and we found the darn thing in the tree!!!!! To which DD#1 informs us that yes, she put it there!! She was decorating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :wall::wall:
Would of saved mummy heart pains if she'd told me earlier!!!!!!!! Eeep!!
ah but so happy!!
it just occurred to me that I can now say that DD#2 turns 2..... this year! :o
Sounds like you all had a wonderful Christmas. Mine was okay. Christmas morning with Caeleb was wonderful. Caeleb loved his presents. His favourite? A plastic contruction hat that came free with a Tonka Truck...
Nevermind the $1600 we spent building that play area (which he does love too BTW)..but, as long as he's happy, I don't care!
Went and stayed with my parents for a couple days. Didn't end up going all that well. My Dad said a few hurtful things to me and didn't make any attempt to apologise, so we left early the next morning. I've not spoken to him since.
My parents come and stay with me every 4 weeks or so. Our place is like camp for them, so they can go visit all the grandkids (they live 2 hours away, so come back once a month for visits). Right now... I really don't want my Dad in my house. They're due back again next week. I want to call and say, go stay with one of my brothers, because I'm pregnant, I'm hurt by your words and I don' want you around, but DH says it's only going to cause drama.
My family life is a drama. Not DH and Caeleb. That is pretty much perfect, most of the time. THANK GOODNESS! It's MY family that is the problem. I got a text from my Mum telling me to text my brother for new year and see how my nephew's teeth are (he smashed four front teeth the day before Christmas doing dangerous flips on a trampoline). I'd already messaged the day after he did it and wished him a speedy recovery. I got four text messages on new year from people and didn't send any back, because I really don't get into it. I went to bed at 10:30pm. Apparently, my brother is hurt because I didn't text him back, so he rang my Mum to have a whinge. She's now insisting that I text him and if I don't it's going to cause major drama... and according to her (this is her standard line) I don't want her to have any family!
WTF? Firstly, my brother is 45... grow up! Secondly... WTF! I love how everything is my fault. Grr... I'm pregnant, very uncomfortable (baby is laying across my belly) and hormonal and I so don't need this crap right now!!! I just want them all to leave me alone!!!
Sorry for the vent... I just don't have anyone (other than poor DH) to talk to about this right now...
 Celsie!! Ugh! Your family sounds like they need a swift kick up the bum, a flick around the ear and slap to the head!! Oh and then told to grow up for goodness sakes!!! This is the last thing you need love!! Vent away baby!! I completely understand as you could've been writing about my family  to which I began to speak honestly with them all and say either, "Between me and so-and-so so butt out" or "got nothing to do with me, not interested. Oh DD did this and this and this......etc". Oh and when I find out someone had been whinging about me to someone else, i tell the someone else to only say, "Well go talk to her" and then I contact the whinger and say if you can't talk to me, its obviously not worth whinging about :D I just don't have time for "Bold and the Beautiful" lifestyles, iykwim? ;) so have made it clear that I am too busy loving life with my little fam of DH & the girls and by all means, if others would like to come have fun then do......otherwise, you don't contact me. I just don't have time for family politics, seriously!!
Is it obvious?!?! *blush* :D
See me being me, I'd be calling and saying up front what hurt and you'd rather sort this out now than it be awkward when they come visit. Honesty and up front - but that's just me ;) I can be a bit too harsh sometimes, ooops *blush*
Thinking of you lovey xx
Bit the bullet today peoples - took out membership at the gym.... :o :o :o ....so of course had to buy gym clothes and.......... bathers :o haven't bought bathers in 10 years!!
Ahh just picture it now, Charlyfrog floppin' round on her lily pad & splooshing about in the water with her little tadpole (DD#2) Ah yes. Truly graceful.
Thank you so much Charly! *mwah* You're so gorgeous. I actually got a call from my Dad the next day after posting on here. Apparently my Mum had "words" to him and told him that I thought he didn't love me. I never actually said that... I think my words were... "He doesn't get me". Anyway, Dad called up all emotional, telling me that he's really sorry and that he didn't mean to say what he said and that he does love me and would be the first to jump to my defence if required. I accepted his apology, but I really am sick of the drama. I just want a peaceful life. Tate, Caeleb, No. 2 and Me... that's it!
Congratulations on joining the gym too! I had a membership for 3 months and someone (not mentioning any names!) would cry and cry and cry at the creche... so I'd finish my workout and come out to find a sobbing mess. I was actually really annoyed, because I said if he cries for more than 5 minutes, come and get me and they never did. So I got 10 sessions out of it and the rest went to waste. Guess it's good old walking and pushing the pram for me or nothing!
I feel SO rejuvenated since having Tate home for holidays over Christmas. I feel like a good Mummy again. I have energy, I'm happy and Caeleb and I are getting along better than ever. It's just wonderful. I hope it lasts! *sighs happily*
