I was advised by the childhood nurse not to give Diana any panadol before the vaccination as apparently it can mask the effects of any reactions bubs can have (or something - that is what I usderstood the reason to be). So I didn't give her anything before the shots. She seemed to handle them okay, but was a bit sooky later on that evening, so I gave her some baby panadol then (which she proceeded to spit back up). She seemed to settle afterwards anyway.
