Merry Christmas Charly. Thats such a great idea. Hope you all have a ball!

Feathertop sorry to hear DH wasnt well. Hope you all OK now

Sarah hope Lewis likes the video  Mikayla's starting to sleep with her bum in the air now too - very very cute!!

Celsie I just take the video footage on my digital camera because by the time I get the proper video camera out she's finished doing what I wanted to record anyway. I then upload them to photobucket so I can email or post the link. Give it a go if you've got a still camera that does short movies - I'm going to eventually put them all together and burn them onto a CD.

Debbie just sending you a PM...

Hi to all the June mums and bubs

sorry we haven't posted for a while the days seem to fly past so fast these days but I have been reading and catching up on all the happenings

Our little man is growing very fast - he's still not rolling yet but he has started doing a "worm" crawl and gets his bum in the air and then pushes off - its so cute to watch but every time I try and video him he stays where he is on purpose I think

loves his jolly jumper - he gets cranky when I try to take him out of it!!

we are going to look at MCN's soon - such a wide range so I'm trying to read as much as I can first

Celsie - I voted for Caeleb - he just looks adorable in that picture - and so tiny compared to your signature pic made me go awwwwww

Debbie hugs to you sweetie - best of luck with the GP and its good that you recognise it and are making positive steps - it sounds like you have a happy healthy little boy there

    Mum of Lewis
    - love the pic of Lewis and his cousin - another awww moment - sounds like you had a fab time with your sister and niece, I felt the same when my brother and sister in law went home to the states - feels like the time passes in a flash

Zofia best wishes for the wedding - will be thinking of you and can't wait to see some photos

Charly - thinking of you with DD#2's feeding issues - Jackson is the opposite- is having about 7-8 small feeds a day but if I try to give bigger feeds less often I end up getting vomited on in huge amounts - our paed suggested putting him onto solids will help so I'm off to get some bowls, spoons and rice cereal this week and will try that

Jen - glad to hear the op went well - and I'm sorry to hear about the mastitis hugs to you - the oral liquid Jackson got at his 4 months immunisations was for rota virus and the 2nd lot has to be given before bubs is 24 weeks - I know this was the one Jackson reacted to the most cos it all got puked up within about 2 minutes of being given and he vomited heaps the next day which he'd almost stopped doing before his immunisations

hugs to everyone - our babies seem to be growing so fast - I'm so looking forward to our first Christmas as a family

    Luv Mel and Jackson

Hi ladies. Gee its been awefully quiet in here. Hope everyone's well xx

Thanks for the info on the rota virus vacc I'm really concerned that Mikayla didnt get it. Our GP should have know about it! She's 18.5 weeks old and she still hasnt had the first one! I hope its not too late

Zofia congratulations your now a MRS!!! Hope it all went well and the rain didnt mess with your plans too much. Cant wait to see some pics

Mel & Zofia (and anyone else in Sydney!) not sure if you guys went to the recent Inner West meet but maybe we could try to arrange something again. Didnt seem to go to plan last time. Revesby Workers is usually a good
place to meet - as far as I know you dont need to be a member to get in which was the problem with Bardwell Park last time and its close to trains.

Jen how are things going?? I read your other thread - sounds terrible but hope its healing up OK. Thinking of you

Celsie looks like Caeleb is slowly making his way up the list I've thought of entering Mikayla before but it seems that unless you have a LOT of family & friends to vote you dont have much of a chance - its a real shame if you ask me because the really cute babies seem to get lost in the battle!! Its not really a true contest is it :P

Anyways gotta go but will try to BBL xx

Oh and Mel - love your new avatar!!

Ok ... Since when did our babies grow up so fast!!! It feels like Mackenzie was born last month and she is now getting on all 4's ready for craling soon... I can't believe it. I am happy but sad at the same time iykwim .. they sure aren't babies for long are they. We have no sign of any teeth at the moment although some very red cheeks .. perhaps that is a sign.

Starfish: WOW how exciting for you and Diana! I know what you mean about the biting .. Mackenzie thinks its fun to bite down then turn her head quickly sideways I get angry and say NO but she laughs .. About the university.. because we plan an TTC #3 and we have decided that I will be a SAHM untill all our little ones start school, I have lost motivation because I have soooo many other things to do and wont be going back to work for a long long time ... so I am not sure when I'll be going back although I do miss the brain stimulation.

MumofLewis: Mackenzie used to bury her head in the blanket too when I put her on her tummy, but after a few weeks the muscles seems to grow quickly and now she flips over to her tummy when I put her on her back and is practicing pulling her legs up under her. I wish she was still a newborn for a little longer

teepee2: Mackenzie is about the same size as Mikayla (6.1 kilos) and she turned 5 months on the 4th Nov .. I didnt think she was overly small but then again I have nothing to compare her with visually. She is having a check up at the paedatrition(sp?) in 4 weeks so if there is any concern Im sure he'll tell me. I love Mikaylas updated ticker photo I'll have to update Kenzies when I get a chance. I just looked at the video and she is definatly getting thoughs legs up user her .. You had better start putting in thoughs plastic powerpoiint safety things in! We have the same play gym! What a great idea about the capturing video on your digital camera .. I miss alot of stuff because by the time I get the video out she has stopped doing what I wanted to get on tape iykwim.

EDIT: I *just* measured Mackenzie and she has grown!! She weighs 6.9 kilos (exactly on the green 50th percentile line) and measures 68cm lon( A whopping 97th percentile for height!) She must have just had a huge growth spurt!!! Although for weight for height chart she is only on the 3rd percentile ?!?!

Celsie: I read that you have a photo of Caeleb on baby express? Can you repost the link so I can vote because I can't find it! Can you please explain to me what the difference between a pocket and a AIO is please! I am so confused, actually I should prolly post on the nappy thread should't I. Don;t feel bad about the baby book. I have scraps of paper in a little box on when Kenzie did what first and need to write it in .. I might do that today if I have time.

Debbie: How did the trip to the GP go? I hope you are OK :hugs: I alos am waiting for AF the return but am still BFing so who know when I'll get it .. We are TTC #3 asap too so maybe we will end up in a belly buddy group together  With you and your DH being so tall I think Aiden is defintaly not going to follow the "normal" line. My DD#1 didn't follow the normal line for height she was off the charts and about 60th percentile for her weight and she hasnt changed in 11 years. She is 11 and as tall as me!!! I honestly wouldn't worry. Why wouldnt they sell you phenergan ?? Maybe they are cracking down, I have heard of some parents giving it to their kids every night

Charlyfrog: How exciting about having your family over for an early Christmas I hope you had / are havng a fabulous time. I LOVE Christmas sooo much I can't wait till this christmas, we are travelling interstate to be with family also.

Mel: Gorgous avatar! I'm glad to hear jackson loves his JollyJumper! Kenzie is getting one for christmas... do you think 6 months is too late for her to have it?? Will I get alot of use past 6 months?

Feathertop: Hope you had fun Belly dancing! I have never tried it, but would be too scared with the remnants of the "babybelly" still with me!

*hugs* to all the bubs from Kenzie

    Hi girls,

Jen - I have been giving Lewis more tummy time and he is def getting stronger and putting his head down less. I reckon they can use the jolly jumpers for a good while after 6 months.. Anyway you can always sell it on ebay afterwards! I can't wait to put Lewis in his.

Lewis weighs 7.74kg now. I want to put the car seat in instead of his capsule but want to put it forward facing so i don't have to pay twice to get it fitted. Does anyone know if it's 8 or 9kg they have to be?

Celsie - Yes please post the baby express link, I want to see Caeleb in all his glory!

I took some cute photos of Lewis yesterday and have decided to make one into a canvas but I'm not sure if to do colour or black and white. If anyone wants a look it's the last 3 in his photo gallery:

MumofLewis - Awwwwwwwwwwwww!!! He is such a gorgeous little cheeky possum isn't he?!?!?! I'm thinking black and white for that artsy look......

Jen - wow!! sounds like Mackenzie is going to be tall like her sister! DD#2 weighted 7.6kg and was 64cm long on Oct 26 at her immunisations. And you're right how our babies are not staying babies for very long! Can hardly believe that DD#2 will be 5 months in one week!! Where is that time going?!?!?! Anyways, thinking of you too as you recover....how are you now?

Debbie - thinking of you lovely!! Sending xx

Zofia - ...."Mrs Zofia" ....hehehe!!! I hope you had a really special day! xx

Feathertop - I hope your household are all healthy now! Are you having fun Monday nights then?!?! I think I am the same as Jen though, forming a mental picture of myself bellydancing and not sure whether to wet myself laughing or think 'blerk' - just about me trying it btw!! LOL!!! I hope you're having heaps of fun though.....oooh!! Are you going to get to wear all those gorgeous outfits though?!?! I do love the trinkets and colours and the swish-swish!! So beautiful!!

Ok so update on my tribe ......

Well Monday afternoon/evening, Christmas in November, was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo wonderful!! It was so precious and special to watch my brothers 2 little ones (5yrs & 18months) play with my little ones!! Their 'baby' wanted to wrap her arms around DD#2 all the time and if you moved the baby away from her, well lets just say, she wouldn't be too impressed!! LOL!!! Their eldest really took my eldest under his wing and even though its been almost 2years since they've seen each other, they played like a house on fire!! It was so lovely to watch. Even my 18month old niece was happy as anything to come and get unprompted snuggles from her aunty

I have been worried about Christmas for my side as this is going to be the first year without my .......well, biological father around......long painful story but effectively, since July this year (so DD#2 was only 3 weeks old) he has removed himself from us all. But it really was the most beautiful, fun, relaxed time we have had as a family in years............makes me wonder...............it really did feel like Christmas as DH & I did all the hosting, prep, set up, cooking (even cleaning - thank goodness for dishwashers! lol!) but weirdly enough, we really didn't mind. We did bonbons, chrissy pudding....the lot!!! Of course of all the nights for DD#2 to be completely unsettled and not feeding well.............hehehe! Not to worry.

My brother and his family came over for a quick goodbye coffee yesterday afternoon and today my eldest asked if she could play with her cousins again. Sadly I had to inform her that they were travelling home today but we are planning a big trip over next year...........yay!!! It was so lovely to receive a text from my brother saying thank you and that they had the best time in Adelaide that they have ever had before!!!

So now just feeling really tired oh and DD#1 decided to stuff a sultana up her nose this morning.......................what the?!?!?! I still can't get over that she did that!! I laugh every time I think of how I had to tweezer a juicy sultana out of my daughters nose this morning!!! Unbelievable!!!

So now the next focus is DD#1's 3rd birthday in a couple of weeks!! I truly cannot believe that my first baby is about to turn 3 years old!! When I think about it, that means I only have her at home with me for another 2 years before she goes to school Time is so precious isn't it???

Well, I might go grab a cuppa before the hellish task of washing DD#1's hair begins........................no really, I will miss her when she goes to school......surely she can't scream for the next 2 years every time I wash her hair?!?!?!

    BBL lovlies!

    Talking

    Hi girls!

Okay, you've been chatting loads and I haven't had time to read all your posts, but here goes with the replies.

Sarah - I'm not allowed to post the link. It's not a personal site, so I'll get done by the mods if I do. But, if you type in babyexpress and add the rest of the jargon and then click on Cyberbabe Competition. It's a photo taken on him when he was 3 weeks old. His name is underneath it, so you should find it okay.

*Jen* - I'm no expert on MCN. Your best bet is to float around in the MCN threads. I'm still learning too, but I'm totally addicted!!!

Tina - We've moved up a spot on the list. We've overtaken the little spoilt looking girl. LOL. The leaders have about 700 votes compared to Caeleb's 140ish, but at least I know mine are semi-genuine. LOL - Thanks for the support Mikayla! Mwah!!!

Mel - thanks for your support. Caeleb was a little pixie when he was born. So so tiny! Now he's long and lean.

Charly - They say the best time for nappy free training is between birth and 6 months, so you're well and truly in the time frame. They do say you can teach an older baby, but it's not as easy.

Funny thing happened today... Caeleb discovered that he is a boy! LOL - I was changing his nappy and he reached down and gave his little package a 'squeeze'. I thought, "Oh no it's begun! He's never going to leave it alone now for the rest of his life!!!" ROFL

Okay, it's my 9th Wedding Anniversary today, so I'd better go and spend some quality time with my gorgeous husband!

    Have a great night girls!!!

Thanks Sarah & Tina. We had a quiet one this year as we're low on cash and Tate had to work, but we're going out for dinner on Saturday night to celebrate.

Tate had a CT scan done last week. Results show a small growth on his liver. The doctor said in 90% of cases, it will just be a cyst. They want to do an u/s in 3 months to see if it has grown and what it is. I can't wait 3 months to know if the cancer has come back. I've got him booked in for some time in the next couple weeks to get it done so we know once and for all. I'll let you know how it goes.

Okay, time is getting away from me.

Celsie - happy anniversary for the yesterday. So sorry to hear that they have found another lump, i think you are right to go get it checked out sooner, you dont need this hanging over your head for another 3 months. I will be praying that it is all ok.

Aiden has not yet discovered his crown jewells.. although, i bath him in the laundry tub, as he is to big for the baby bath, and i hate wasting water in the big bath, so, in the tub, he is sitting him abit, and i wash his fast, no play time or anything, so,he probably hasnt had a chance yet... oh, well, i am sure he will make up for it!

Charly - glad to hear that your christmas in november went to plan (minus dd#2 playing up.. but, they have perfect timing dont they).

I went to the doctors, discussed PND, and the other factors in my life that could be causing my feelings. She was very lovely, my gp. We decided medication is not the answer, which i am glad, but, something had to give. So, the next day, after much agonising, i rang my boss and told him i cant do it anymore. It wasnt so much the working from home, it was the fact that my boss was just abit dithery, changed his mind alot, forgot things, and generally in a round about way blamed me. He is a lovely old man thou, so, i told him that i wasnt able to give him 100% as well as Aiden 100% and that it was effecting my ability to work for him, and i was letting him down. Sorta suger coated it for him. And, i felt so so much better. Will probably still do abit for him, more bookwork type, but, i wont be tied to the house everyday now, and will be able to get out and see my friends again.
Have also looked at what i eat, and trying to be more healthy to make sure i get all my essential vitamins.

Oh, and AF has returned. Happy - now we can start ttc#2 ... and now I remember what contractions felt like, and i dont want AF any more. Very heavy, and getting alot of pain in my hips and thighs. (sorry tmi).

Anyway, Aiden is awake, must go. Will BBL, i notice alot of you have updated your photos, so, cant wait to check them out

    hugs to all.

    Hi,

Debbie - That is great that you can make changes without medication. I bet you did feel tied to the house so now you should feel alot better, especially with the weather warming up. I know if I don't get out every day I feel cr*p too. And I know what you mean about the AF feeling like contractions, it's horrible isn't it.

Lewis had his injections this morning. He slept for 2 hours afterwards but he's a bit grumpy anyway from his gums so I'm just going to give him panadol today and hopefully by tomorrow he will feel better.

Celsie - Hope it is just a cyst and everything is okay. You know we may all have things like that in our bodies and would never know because we don't have scans, but because he has had a scan your attention is drawn to it. So positive vibes coming your way....

Anyway must be off. I'm looking at buying cookie cutters on ebay in the shape of prams and baby bottles so I can make biscuits for Lewis's christening bonbonieres. It's not til February but I thought I'd have a practice.

I'm also going to make my own xmas cards this year with a photo of Lewis in a santa hat on the front Thought I should tell you in case anyone else wants to do the same thing! You can buy the blank cards with a hole in the middle to put the photo in from craft shops.

    Hey girls!!

Celsie - Happy anniversary for the other day - time flies when you're having fun hey!! Thinking of you and your DH Praying that is simply a cyst and nothing to worry about. xx

MumofLewis - I love the cookie idea! That's so sweet! We too do the christmas card thing and I set a chrissy theme and snap away to get that perfect shot! Its so much fun to mess with the pics in photoshop and then make those precious chrissy cards. Although last year I was in the throws of morning sickness (where has the time gone?!?!) but we still managed to take pics of DD, DH & I with chrissy hats on and then I printed a whole heap off, cut them out, stuck them on folded card and then shaped gold and silver pipe cleaners into bows above the pics so we looked like a present.......hard to picture but it worked, well everyone loved them so that's all that matters! I really am looking forward to making chrissy cards this year with my two munchkins! It's going to be so much fun!

Debbie - that's so great that medicine could be avoided and that you were able to take forward steps in giving yourself time! That's so important and I am really am so happy for you!! You're amazing! And on AF returning for you!! Woohoo!! Sticky vibes and baby dust all over again!!! Woohoo!!

Jen - have been keeping up with your thread re: Mackenzie and that is so wonderful and great to hear that she is coping with her little sling!! Been thinking of you heaps! So glad you both got some much needed rest! I hope you enjoyed your red! xx

Feathertop - how are you feeling chook?? Hope you're getting better love! Take it easy, well as easy as you can being a wife and mummy Thinking of you lovely! xx

Teepee2 - on your little one not finding anyone elses 'jewels' - oh that's a crack up!! DD#2 does seem to get her hands in the way though at nappy change time - mostly when there's is a poo spread from here to woop woop!! I know she has no idea what she is doing but I am forever moving her hands away! Actually, it's DD#1 who sat in the bath the other day and well.......I think she's just wondering what's what.......

DD#2 is having a slightly restless day today but I think that its because its warm and so she is dressed down and I don't think that she likes her arms completely naked. So have resorted back to wrapping her in a bed sheet and now she's fast asleep.........yay!! But the little munchkin has become much more mobile that I have found her up the top of her cot stuck on her belly as she hasn't quite worked out how to roll from her tummy to her back yet......gave herself a mark on her arm that actually looks like a "love bite" coz she gets her arms stuck underneath her when she rolls onto her tummy so sucks away!! Am already starting to train DD#1 to keep her toys up off the floor and put them away because before she knows it, her baby sister is going to be into everything!!!!!!!!!! So trying to prepare her for the shock of it all! Lol!!

Actually I was looking at my girls today and I thought oh my goodness how much I love them and how truly adorable and beautiful and cute and precious they are!! Not to mention completely cheeky!! Caught DD#1 peeking out of her door at nap time and I cracked up laughing as she bolted behind the door so as not to be seen!! Found it so funny that I rang DH at work just to tell him!! LOL!

Christmas pageant tomorrow!! Yay!! Not going into the city this year because DH is working, plus it's going to be quite warm so DD#1 & I are going to make a big deal of it at home and get ourselves all set up in the lounge to watch it together.............can hardly believe that 3 years ago, I sat like a beached whale, 40weeks pg urging DD#1 to come out now!! Although, have never missed a year of watching the pageant, whether it be at home or actually being there so I told her that she couldn't come out til after the pageant (if she did try we had to have a tv on at the hospital - that was DH's instructions...lol!!) but then I remember watching the repeat of the pageant later that afternoon and saying to my belly, "It's only a repeat, you can come out now!!" It was a whole week later and we had to kick her out in the end!!! LOL!!!

Can't get over the time whipping by!!

Must dash now that I have typed your eyes off!! LOL!!! Hope you are all having a great day and that you have a fab weekend as well!! Take care! BBL lovlies!

Hi all, just a quick hello. I'm still ill but improving, on antibiotics and it looks like I'll need another course to get over this bug.

Debbie - glad to hear aobut your drs visit, hope you're on the up and up now you've made some changes.

Celsie - fingers crossed it's just a cyst, thinking of you both (actually all three of you)

Jen - have been keeping up with Mackenzie's arm story, looking forward to hearing she's back to normal next week.

Angus had his injections etc yesterday, he did very well, didn't cry for too long. The anticipation was the worst thing I think as when he saw the 2nd and 3rd needles he knew what was about to come. Poor little love. He's been off colour all day today, hot and much less active and more sleepy than usual. He power vomited the whole first morning feed all over both of us, it was like throwing a full cup of milk over each of us! We gave him some panadol, let him have a quiet day, and put him to bed early, hopefully he'll pick up by tomorrow. I'm a bit worried about him as he wasn't right but I guess that's what mummydom is all about, you worry about everything.

Anyway, off for the dreamfeed now, see you soon.

    Hi Feathertop,

Glad you're slowly on the mend.

Two things, how come Angus had 3 needles? Lewis only had 2 plus the oral rotavirus.

Also regarding your dreamfeed, when will you stop doing it? I dreamfeed Lewis too, about 11pm, but was wondering how long I will have to do it for. Do you think when they are on solids they won't need it anymore? Have you ever missed the dreamfeed to see what time he wakes up? I often wonder what would happen but enjoy my sleep too much to find out!

Oh and Charly, I think I will steal your pipe cleaner idea, thanks!!

Charly - I did have something to tell you in this post, but DH is singing playschool songs with Caeleb at the top of his voice and has completely made me lose my train of thought! LOL I'm sure it will come to me.

Sarah - Caeleb had 3 needles too. I don't know what they were all for (I was just focusing on trying to calm him down), but it might be worth calling your GP. Maybe it's different for each state? Nah, that doesn't sound right. Maybe yours had all the ones he needed in two needles? Let us know how you go.

Thank you all for your kind words. I'm keeping positive, no matter what. In fact, I'm so convinced it's nothing that I'm sending DH off to have his swimmers checked, see if he's sterile or not after his chemo. If they are no good, we've decided that we'll get the IVF process started some time in the new year. There's just no telling how long it might take to get PG. Anyway, will cross that bridge when we come to it.

We had a gorgeous family moment in bed this morning. DH is not longer working Saturday's (YAY), so we were all in bed together, talking and playing with Caeleb. DH and I had our feet sticking our the bottom of the covers at the end of the bed. Caeleb was obsessed with our feet, so DH decided to do a "puppet show" and gave our feet each there own little voices and wriggled them about and told Caeleb a story. LOL

Caeleb has the lumpiest gums. He's teething! He's being really good about it though. I've given him a rub of Bonjela the past two nights over both gums so he can get to sleep. It's horrible seeing him in pain.

Okay, I promised to record the pageant for a friend, so must go!
