It was right with ashley though! lol
Dont know what we are having..... will you find out?
The squishy bit is when Dory sees a baby jellyfish and wants to adopt it as her own
Sorry only have seconds before girls destroy room and I burn tea......:cryinglaugh:
No, I won't find out. We didn't with Caeleb and I really enjoyed not knowing till his birth.
Hiya
Remember me?
Just had a quick look before i head off to bed - and wanted to say a big congratulations to Celsie! How exciting. Wishing you a H&H pregnancy!
OMG CELSIE!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!
I'm gone for a little while and I miss out on soooo much!!! Thats awesome news Sarah, you and Tate must be so excited!!!
We're just at the end of our TWW and I'm having a blood test tomorrow to find out if our last cycle has worked. The initial plan was to be strong and NOT use a HTP this time but I had one in my wardrobe and of course couldnt help myself :D I used it on Thursday (12dpo) and got a very very very faint line. I'm not getting my hopes up because it could have been the fertility drugs still in my system, which can give false BFP's. So tomorrow is the big day for us, where we sit by the phone waiting for results, and hopefully Celsie we'll be doing it all together again!!!!
I havent had a chance to read back on all the post - got side tracked by Celsie's news :D but will be back tomorrow night when I have more time, hopefully with good news!
Hope you're all well xx
OMG Tina!!! That would be SO amazing!!! :excited: I'd love to be your Belly Buddy again!!! I was 12 DPO on Thursday, so does that man we have the same EDD? :excited:
Oh I can't get the smile off my face!!! :D Best of luck for tomorrow sweetie!!! Make sure you come on here and let us know really soon, good or bad!!! :happyforyou:
:happyforyou: :happyforyou: :happyforyou:
Good luck Teepee, we have our fingers crossed..........:crossfingers:
Hi Debbie! Hoaw are you and little Aiden? I was wondering where you had gone. What is your news?
teepee
how wonderful if you and celsie got to share this journey again!!
good luck hun!!
Just checking in to see if Tina's been... not yet.
Oh my goodness Teepee!! I am hanging out for you lovey!
Must admit to feeling pangs of slight jealousy that I won't be in a belly buddies group with any of you lovely precious adorable wonderful friends  .....oh but :goodluck2: to you all!!!! :cheer:
MWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!! :happyforyou:
Still no Tina huh? I hope everything is okay...
Here I am Celsie :D
Well I dont really know what to think of my news. The clinic rang this afternoon and said that although it was a BFP, that my HCG level was quite low (only 97 - whereas with Mikayla it was about 350!) I have to go in on Wednesday for another blood test to see if my levels are rising. So it seems that for now I am pregnant but whether its a viable pregnancy or not remains to be seen :(
But on a brighter not Celsie, yes it seems we would have the exact same EDD. How great would that be!!!
Just off to see what some others think in the TTC threads about my HCG....
What day did they do your blood? I had a blood test with Caeleb at 13DPO and got a HCG level of 40.
Celsie I had a blood test this morning - so its 16dpo. Matt spoke to the nurse so I dont know what she thought the chances were of it continuing to rise. I suppose I only have my results with Mikayla to compare to (which would have been around the same time) so 97 does seem really low. BUT maybe I'm just worrying about nothing - look at Caeleb after all!!
Tina - just checked my pregnancy journal. At 3 weeks and 6 days, my level was 44. At 5 weeks it was 780. Does that help?
You've given me some hope Celsie
Tina - this is from a book I've got called Birth, by Catherine Price & Sandra Robinson.
:
Noraml HCG blood levels vary widely, so be careful when interpreting the numbers. The level itself is not as important as how much it is rising by every few days. Some healthy, normal pregnancies start off with quite low HCG levels.
I hope this brings you some peace of mind.:
Guide to normal HCG levels
Week 3 - (7 days after conception) - 0 to 5.
Week 4 - next period (14 days after conception) - 5 to 426.
Week 5 - (21 days after conception) - 18 to 7340.
Week 6 - (28 days after conception) - 1,080 to 56,500.
Celsie - those numbers are why i though for sure i am 1 week further than the drs tell me!
My HCG at 3 weeks 1 day was 200!
BUt i did bleed for 3 weeks which they say was an implantation bleed
Thank you soooo much Celsie. You're such a sweet heart!!! I will keep positive and wait for a huge increase on Wednesday!
I asked Matt exactly what the nurse told him and he said that she definitely said to consider it a BFP but they just want to monitor it to make sure that the HCG is rising.
So at this stage I'm proud to say that I too am up the duff :D
:bfp:
Wow that's great Tina, congratulations :bellygrowing:.
Miss Mikayla had better watch out, there is a new kid in town.....!
Thanks Sarah!!!
Now its time to get some more of you on the bandwagon :p
:hooray: HUGE CONGRATULATIONS TINA!!! :hooray:
So very happy for you!!! We're going to be Belly Buddies again!!! :woot:
p.s. I totally agree. We need a few more girls in here UTD!!!
i wish you were all already 7 months along like me! lol
But it is great i get to preg talk for another 10 weeks with you new utd'er!!! lol
Congrats tina!
Hey I would love to join you guys, but am on a pre conception health kick until December, by which time you guys will be big marshmallow bellies!!
I'm predicting 3 girls. Getting strong PINK vibes from all of you..........;) (I am always wrong though so don't go out buying frills just yet!!)
MofL
I hope i am not a marshmellow belly in december!!! lol
Ha yes sorry PP, you will have a completely flat stomach by then of course, parading around in a bikini no doubt?!!
i hope so! lol!
Just a quick update from me. Had another BT today and HCG levels have trippled since Monday so all is good. EDD 19/04/09!!!!!
LOL Sarah, if last time is anything to go by mine will be a watermelon not a marshmallow!!!
PP I'm sure yours will be well and truly flat by then :D WOW only 10 weeks to go!! Did time come around alot faster this time??
Congratulations again Tina!!! :hooray:
I really don't know what to put down for my EDD. My LMP was 14 July 2008, I O'd on CD 13, giving me a LP of 15 days. The hospital has given me and EDD of 21st April 2009 - don't ask me how... as every calculator says either the 19th or the 20th. What would you go by?
Celsie I would go by your LMP if you normally have the same length cycle every month. I just checked the calculator on babycenter. With a cycle length of 29 days (which would be right if you have an LP of 15 days) and it gave edd of 21st April -so looks like the hospital might be right.
With this lot of treatment my cycle was something like 45 days so they said to take the day of my trigger injection as the 2 week mark which would give me an edd of 17th April. But I've added an extra 2 days because I wouldnt have ovulated until 24-36 hours after the injection. I'm having an early scan at 7 weeks so that'll give me a more accurate date.
How bout we both just say 19th for now  Its not like they're likely to come on time anyway!!!
 - Tina - You're too funny! I don't find out if I'm allowed to have an early scan till tomorrow. The doctor didn't offer and when I rang back, the receptionist was a real B!TCH! Anyway, go introduce yourself in our Belly Buddies group! We have a man in our group this time too!!! :o
I'm feeling a little low today. Our playdate was cancelled, so Caeleb and I went shopping. I swear, every feral out there was at the shopping centre I went to today. I went to change Caeleb's nappy and there was a woman blocking the only spare change table with her trolley, so I thought, I'll just wait till someone else finishes. This girl was almost finished when her friend walked in with another baby and just pushed right in front of me!!! So, I thought... stuff this and left. I ended up changing poor Caeleb in the back of the car!
I'm also hating the fact that DH won't let me tell anyone. Kerry (Kbowman) and one other of my real life friends know and that's it. It's really sucky not having anyone to get excited with me. :( I'd love to tell my Mum and Dad, but DH and I both agreed that would be a bad idea, because they blabbed immediately last time, when they promised they wouldn't, so they can't be trusted.
*big sigh*
Yes girls I don't know why you are worrying about your EDD, knowing your past records Celsie yours will be born a few weeks early anyway and Tina, no doubt yours will be late! So you will have an Aries and a Taurus ;) (Taureans are really cool BTW!)
Celsie- can you imgaine my ?? with EDD... i havent had a period since September 2006!!! yes 2006 the AF before i fell pregnant with Ashley! lol.. be interesting to see when i actually go into labour !
Also we didnt tell anyonw until 18 weeks... that was interesting (seeing we lived with family from 7-17 weeks pregnant)... no one noticed and we had to keep it a secret until after my sis' baby shower as not to ruin her surprise! hehe.
I lurk more than post these days :) Good to see there are more slightly nutty women like myself who are walking the path to a new addition with the challenges of our 14 month olds. My EDD is the 25th December but the hospital has put me 2 days later too (27th) which is fine by me - less chance they will push for an induction early :) They say it is so many months (can't remember if it is forward of back) plus 2 days. Weird considering their *wheel of fortune* gives me the same date as I had in the first place :dunno:
Congratulations girls!!!
Wow...i have been away for a few weeks and all this amazing news comes in!!!
Congratulations to all the new mummas 2B, that is excellent news...how exciting!!
Its sad to think that Ashlyns pregnancy and birth were my last, as i really cant see myself being able to deal with having 3 children...there is a small window of maybe...but it wont be until Ashlyn is at school atleast haha
I hope everything goes smoothly for you all and you all get the flavours you want hehe
No real news on our front, Ashlyn has been walking pretty much since 10/11 months and nothing is stopping her, she only has 8 teeth and she is still a tiny little thing we are just cracking into the size 0s and maybe 1s..she tips the scales at approx 10kg!!! She doesnt really talk much she says mumma dada, taa, bubba and the rest are just little grunts haha
Well take care everyone...so happy for you!!
Woohoooooooooooooooooooooo on all those beautiful baby bellies!!! :cheer:!!! So excited for you all!!! Please keep us up to date tooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!
Rylansmum - same boat as you lovey  My GP asked me the other day, "So when's your next?" (have known her for years and now she asks me every visit, lol) To which I explained that DH would've already had the snip if I had said yes! :o She went all counselly on me and said not to let him until I was absolutely positively sure that I was done, lol. She said she had to negotiate for her third.......weird concept personally, hehe. I mean, how do you "negotiate" to have a baby?!? :D
Anywhos, missing my DH like crazy as he is away for a week leaving me with a 3&3/4 year old and 14month old...................again I feel the need to express myself = :o :cryinglaugh: well we're all still in one piece ;)
Love to all & chat soon,
Mwa!!
Hi everyone
Congratulations to the mew mummys to be - Celsie and Teepee (and a belated one to Michelle and PinkPalace)!  I must admit that I am slightly jealous, as although we are not TTC (haven't decided if we want to have another bub or if 1 is enough), even if I wanted to I couldn't as AF still hasn't returned (although that is a very good thing on so many levels).
Question - are any of you not planning on having any more children, i.e. stopping at one? We are still thinking about whether we will try for another one down the line or not. What are your opinions? What are the advantages and disadvantages of having only one child?
Charly - hope you're holding up okay with your DH away. You must be supermum. I only have one baby and am not sure if I could do a weekend, let alone a week by myself. Hope it goes well for you.
Rylan's mum - good to hear from you. Like Ashlyn, Diana is still only a little thing too - she is in size 0 mostly and weighs 9.1kg. She talks a lot, but is not quite walking by herself (loves to walk holding my hand though).
Debbie - good to hear from you too. Hope things are going well for you and Aiden.
Hi to everyone else. :)
Starfish - obviously we arent stopping at one. (lol - too late)... BUt we are stopping at 2. This is way we have having them so close (16 months apart). :)
