Kodi had a great weight gain, She now 5.9kg & 63cm long :)
She does have to see a Dr about her head circ as her head isn't growing, It's only grown .2cm in 2 months. You can tell by looking at her she had a small head, but i never thought i'd have to worry about it. Hopefully it's nothing to stress over.
Kell, i love(most of the time) having 2 girls. Maddi is a lot like Hannah, but being younger than Hannah, Maddi gets so jealous & doesn't like it when she has to wait for things so she'll take it out on Kodi. Most of the time M loves her little sister tho.
Hollo & JB glad you both had a good time

Hi all,
Doing well here, David had his 4 mth jabs Tuesday which didn't go to bad. Last time the rotavirus made him all spewy this time it was his bottom end with diarohea. Thankfully that seems to have gone/eased. He has been feeding much better since I've been expressing and the odd formula bottle its taken the pressure off too as hubby can feed him as well. David was fussing so much at the breast we were all getting very stressed out. I'm curious of how his weight has gone as got 4 month check next week (a bit early cos we're off o/s next weekend).
Hubby and I have started chatting about trying for second bub, thinking summertime when David is 8 months old so would be 17-18mth age difference. What do people think is best age gap between kids, as there is 9.5yrs between me and my elder sister and 6yrs between me and younger sis. Hubby seems to think 18-24 mths is good gap as that whats between him and his bro and they get along well. In a way it seems far away as he is only 3 mths at the minute but at the same time quite soon as well as time is flying!
Phoenix and Hollo- i noticed you both have two bubs how do you find it with them both being young.
-
thats great Mo, glad that kodi had a great gain. try not to stress about the head circ, i'm sure it will be fine! :-)
auzzie.chick- i think our age gap is great, hannah was 2 and 8months when chelsea came along, to tell you the truth i wouldnt have handled less of an age gap! hannah was pretty much toilet trained, good language skills, able to get her own food out of fridge and do other things for herself. but i know heaps of people who have a 12-24months age gap and they love it, so it just depends. personally almost 3 years is great for me!

We have an 18 month age gap here & honestly it's hard but you manage. Once you get a routine it's much easier.
I think being pregnant was much harder with a under one, i couldn't rest when i needed to & M/S was shocking! The end result was worth it tho ;)
If we do try for a 3rd i think we will wait till Kodi is at least 1yrs old this time, only because life is so full on with 2.
I've Booked Kodi in for her 4 month needles on Tuesday, will get the Dr to look at her head while i'm there. I'm not really worried as she is doing well with everything else :)
-
hey all,
Allyeria had her 4mth needles yesterday no drama only cried for 20 sec and then she was fine. she is 7.8kg and 66cm long. she seems to be growing 5 cm every 2 mths. she is starting to grow out of her 00 dresses and will need 0 jumpsuits very soon. even with nappies she is almost out of the crawlers - she must have a big butt!
still no complete rolls yet but she is still wanting to sit up all the time so we have started to put her in the walker so she can see everything.
we started farax this week and she really likes it.
mo- glad to hear everything went ok with the op!! Yeah for kodi's weight gain :)
aussiechick - we have 5yrs between the boys and jayden was just over 2 when ally came. i think 3 yrs is a good gap i really enjoyed having lachlan very independant by the time jayden came. am still getting used to having 2 so close together as they are both very demanding, but it will work itself out as they get older.
take care everyone

Just thought i'd bump us back to page 1.
Not much happening here, Kodi goes for her 4 month needles tomorrow & i'll get her head checked out while i'm there.
I'm trying not to worry about it, but a little bit of me can't help it.
Hope everyone is well :)
-
All good here. We have our 4 month needles this week too!
DF is working 2pm to 10pm... not very excited about that haha. Um what else.. we swapped the bassinet over to the stroller and Immy LOVES it, absolutely adores it. We went for a walk to PrincessXanthe's and she couldn't have been happier so lots more walks on the cards for us.
Hope Kodi goes alright with her needles and head check xo
-
Oh Jess so happy she loves hers Miss C and I are thinking of coming for a walk at indro next week if you are keen
-
Yeah, that sounds good! I honestly cannot believe how much she enjoyed it. I was worried because I had put my carrier through the wash so it was pram or having to lug her the 15mins each way... which I wasn't keen to do haha but she was happy the entire time, both ways! I really should have swapped it over sooner, my little bub is growing too quick!
-
Kodi's needles went well, only cried for a couple of seconds. Dr is just going to keep a close eye on her head. He can't feel any bones over-lapping & because she is doing all the things she should be doing he isn't too worried at the moment :)

hello,
mo- that is great news!!!!
Allyeria has finally rolled over from back to front, she was getting frustrated at one point as her arm was getting in the way but when she finally did it she looked at me a smiled it was soo cute.
I am going to the target sale tomorrow and unfortunetly i have to bring jayden and allyeria with me. it will be jayden that will be annoying as he loves to grab everything and throw it on the ground. i dont have to get any of the big stuff or have to lay-by so hopefully it wont be too bad. Fingers Crossed!!!!
take care everyone!

Thanks Ladies :)
Treena gl at Target today, hope the queues aren't too bad.
Hollo I remember you saying Hannah wouldn't take a bottle, At what age did she take a sippy cup?How is ahe going after her operation? Is her thumb all better now?
Hi to everyone else :)
-
mo- yeah hannah would never take a bottle. she would have a sippy cup only of water (refused it if it had forumla or breast milk) at around 6 months. went through a million different cups and finally found she could manage the straw ones. she finally had cows milk in a cup around 12 months i think from memory. had to start off by mixing water and milk together then eventually she would take full milk. actually now that i think about it she wasnt drinking full cows milk properly until after i weaned her so after 17months.
her thumb is going really well. she had the bandages off last week and her stitches are just about all out now. she is loving being able to straighten it out. she can do thumbs up, and make a diamond when doing twinkle. LOL
i am thinking car seats atm.. chelseas hired capsule is due back in a month. plus hannah needs a booster. anyone got any opinions on hipod brand?
-
Hollo i have no experience with Hipod brand so can't help you sorry.
Thanks for the info about Hannah, i have a feeling Kodi will be the same way. I was thinking of weaning her at 6 months so i could back on my meds but i don't think that will happen.
So glad Hannah's thumb is better, must be a nice change for her :)

Mo Miss C has a Nuby sippy cup for her water and loves it :)
