I still consider DD to be a crawler... although she can and has and does walk, its super rare! She can go whole days without taking any unassisted steps (still uses walker and furniture). She is still kinda awkward and wobbly... figure she will get there! DD was like your's Corelly for the longest time, I knew she had the strength/co-ordination but just was a bit reluctant to let go and really... not much has changed, she still prefers to motor around on all fours and she is super speedy too! If there is something to hold onto, she will hold on which when you live in a tiny apartment is 99% of the time. Apparently extended crawling is good for co-ordination? Or is that an old wives tale haha not sure...
JM - Surfing? Legend!!!! What things we have to look forward too. I've been thinking about what you wrote about how kids develop in other areas if one area can't develop. My cousin was born with juvenile arthritis and was pretty restricted in her legs too. And she could talk the hind leg off a donkey before she could walk! DD is the same.

We are still feeding to sleep here, back to 2-3 feeds a day and sleeping through most nights from around 10-8 (we like to stay up late and sleep in) Miss A is almost 12kg and 84cm tall. She is still talking heaps and my bro's gf taught her to say mine yesterday so she was walking around with her books offering them to you then pulling them away saying mine, mine, mine and giggling. I can't believe how cheeky she is, she will come and tell us when she's done a poo then run away and hide because she hates having her nappy changed.
FW - Love that Miss A comes to tell you when she's done a poo and then runs away again! So cute. I was talking to a friend yesterday and we said how we've both noticed our LO's have stopped complaining when they do a poo in their nappys and we think that its because it's so cold, it's keeping their bottoms warm!!!!
Posting again because I'm bored and it's Sunday and DH is out CFA training. He doesn't ever go on Sundays but he actually organised this training so he had to go. We went and saw Knight and Day last night, really enjoyed it, bit True Lies style in the action/humour mix. We went to the drive in and DD didn't fall asleep until about an hour into the movie, so I sat her on my lap in the front with me and she looked out the window saying "car, car, car" all the time Hosted a chocoholics anonymous party yesterday too, so it was a big day. Party went well, ate too much chocolate, topped off with Hungry Jack's for lunch and pizza for dinner. I feel revolting today. I never ever eat like that and I'm paying for it.
TMI warning here :P I'm getting ovulation pain at the moment and have never had it before, other than the last couple of cycles. Bit weird. A bit of blood too in the CM. Should I be worried? Cycle is like clockwork, always the same amount of days in between but AF visited for longer than normal last time. Woe is moi!

Corelly - Chocoholics party sounds amazing. I hope you have recovered! Your girl is a pretty advanced talker - wow!
Since my od obstetric stuff I couldnt tell you if you need to worry about pain and blood mid cycle but if things persist or other symptoms arise i would get it checked out just to be reassurred. Are you taking precautions re pregnancy at present?
JM - your poor DD! I hope she is through the woods now. She will be a toughy I'm sure with all these challenges.
Mo - your DD too! I dont think I need a 3 year old just now - unless she can sort my DS1 out for me! Anyone want a 20yr old who thinks he is sick all the time and does very little?
T has croup! A bit scary. I understand all the mums who have felt a visit to the docs was unproductive. We had 2 sleepless nights with 40 plus temps and then croup and she saw the doc who didnt get to hear her cough and temp had finally come down a bit so told it is a virus and to keep an eye on her. I'm glad he bulk bills.
SP - Hope T gets better quickly! I wish doctors would understand that there are some people who don't go at the drop of a hat. I'm not on any pills re pregnancy, trusting DH to keep his supply of "friends" stocked. I was on the pill years ago but was having migranes and other issues being on it so haven't gone there since.
Well better go, DD just woke up from a rare two and a half daytime nap!!!!
yep we braved the sale too - was madness people pushing and generally being silly over toys!
anyway she has a cubby, dora piano and little people farmhouse put on layby so was happy with that.
ummmm dont think i need anything else for xmas or birthday lol as already have stuff stashed away
Ella found her Dora pram last week so she already has it least the layby stuff she cant find :-)

Corelly - yeah we are using 'friends' too - lol - been on pills for years but not now that I had all the probs. DH said it makes it feel so 'casual' like! We have to be careful til October according to my ob.

JF - extended crawling has gotta be good for development. Corelly's bub is talking more than any of the rest of the bubs! T says about 22 words (we wrote them down coz a friend had her MCHN tell her that her bub needed to say at least 16 words) but nothing in the form of Corelly's girl. Too much time spent walking around I guess.
