Super pumpkin what a CUTE photo she is gorgeous

She was walking all over the pediatrician office today, so when i told him i was worried about her walking i felt like a bit of a dope - KIDS!!

He said she was advanced so it made me feel really proud of her!!!!

Parties are stressful i think well do something else next year like go to dreamworld or something that dosent involve organising, not my strong suit. my friend making the cake rang me Thursday and said sorry cant make the CAKE , so have got my sister onto it, lucky for her she has saved the day!!

KB - thanks. I love your Ellas photo too! Going to the docs always seems to bring out the best in kids eh! Lucky you have a cake making relative. That must have been disappointing to have to re organise at short notice. How is work treating you now?

Happy Birthday to all the bubs! I cant seem to keep up with them all!!

Ange so nice to hear from you, happy to hear Sas had a good day.

Looks like K may have a food allergy/intolerance to dairy, Hoping it's because of that really nasty virus she had a few weeks ago & in a few months she'll be able to tolerate dairy again. So for the time being she can't have any dairy.
Anyways we had her 12 month check up & she weighs 8.2kg & is 73 cm long.

Happy Birthday to Kodi and Saskia! We have been in Mackay for my sister's engagement party. The cyclone wasn't too bad but loss of power was the worst part.

Hi everyone and happy birthday to all the munchkins who have turned one lately! I haven't been on for a while, had our holiday and sort of went off into lala land when we came home!!!!

DD is one tomorrow!!!! I can't believe it! I keep thinking that this day, one year ago, at this time I was in heavy labour and pushing for all it was worth. Just incredible to look at her now and see what she can do and say.

We've bought her a sandpit and some books. DH is on a mission of his own - he wants to buy her a doll, so I'm excited to see what he finds. We've got 10 coming for lunch tomorrow so it will be a good day.

Happy birthday to all the bubs that have turned on or are turning one!

DD had her MCH appointment yesterday, she's 76cms long and weighs 8.8kg. Nurse said she's average height/weight but they're in proportion with each other, so that's good. She also said if DD is not walking by 15 months then we need to go back because it'll start being a concern. Even though DD was in leg braces/plaster for almost 10 months of her life. Hmmm. She showed me how to get her to crawl properly, saying she needs to be able to do it. DD commando crawls EVERYWHERE, but she has to learn how to crawl too. We'll see. She's figured out how to stand up on her own, so I'm really not too concerned. Last night I started a new sleep routine to try and get her to stay in her cot all night and I actually managed to get her to fall asleep there.....only after an hour and 45 minutes!!!! She's really clingy, so I'm hoping that once this passes, sleep will fall back into place. I always swore I would not have a baby in the bed with me, but I'm just so tired that it's always where she ends up!!!

Hope everyone is going well. DD's birthday was great, we had 10 for lunch and she was a happy girl all day.

Corelly that is so strange, i've known some babies not to walk till 18 months & no one has said anything.
Some babies never crawl, so i don't understand why she needs to crawl when she can commando crawl.
I think given the circumstances your Daughter is doing fantastic & i'm so happy your not letting her negative comments upset you.

I've co sleep with both my girls, there are times now where i co sleep with them both
