Well, things have settled down quite a bit. Will is so much happier at his new child care and he is finally feeling like his old self. That illness really knocked him around for a couple of months!!
Now he is walking all over the house, bending down picking things up and off and going again. Last night he was playing with his titans football - running along, dropping it, kicking it and then picking it up again - so cute!!
We are starting to get into a routine with work - Andie - it does get a little easier - or maybe you just get use to running around madly!!
nic - glad to hear bub is falling to sleep by himself! Even if I keep Will up for 4 hours he doesn't go by himself!!! Will is into the tanty too now! The other day I got a drink from Maccas and he wanted some and cried all the way to the car! Embarrassing!
Leesa - sorry to hear about your boss at work! At least your bub is giving you such a beautiful night's sleep!
Bec - glad to hear about DH's work - must be a relief!
Just wanted to pop in and reassure missbec that NO - you are not a thread stopper lol!!
And a thank you for the support re - the grrr of a boss I HAD lol. He's 'gone away' now and I'm relieving in his spot (I think he 'lost the plot' and has mental health issues to deal with)...
I am still under the pump at work - I hate waking up and worrying about things I have to do the next day, but I think I may need to start delegating a bit more now. This bump is huge - I'm larger than I ever was with Maddy at 31 weeks - and I'm only 23.5 wks now...Which makes sleeping difficult (cast your minds back ladies)...
Remember how small our bubba's were at Easter last year?? Maddy was in 5 x 0 clothes!
I'm just babbling now, sorry - I have a 10am GP check up appt today and with traffic (yes, even in Adelaide) I better get a wriggle on!
M2W - sounds like the lil man is growing up quickly already!!
njd - awww, how cute re - your lil flirt!!! I bet he gets his cheeks pulled often from the old ladies!!
andiE - must be going around. Maddy and I were feeling quite off food yesterday. I'd pick her up and she'd just cry - I put her in the high chair - she'd scream - took her out of it - and she'd still cry. I had bad belly pains so thankfully DF took over! Hope your all feeling better now!
I guess we can put the thread quietness down to running around after toddlers??
Hi Girls!
Sorry I haven't posted in ages. Time just gets away from me. The only time I can be on the computer is when Flynn is having a nap and I usually do heaps of other stuff first and then he is awake and that is the end of it!!!
So what is news with us?...Ummm. Well Flynn has had a runny nose and has just developed a horrible sounding cough. I had him to the Dr for the 3rd time in a week to be told (for the 3rd time...argh!) he seems fine. That is no temp and ears, throat and chest all clear. He is a bit grumpy and throwing heaps of tantrums/sooking. He also has this horrible rash/eczema which he seems to scratch only if he is upset. He is also cutting some molars which I'm quite surprised about they are on the lower gum on the left and the right. It's weird cos he only has the 2 front teeth on the bottom and now these ones with all that space in between! He's not too bad but I am finding it difficult with telling him off all the time His lastest favourite 'toy' is the oven/stove. He managed to turn the gas on the other day and last night while I was cooking dinner he made the flame in the oven turn off but the gas hadn't turned off. ARGHHHHHH. I don't know what to do. He got a smack on his fingers...which is probably useless but it was spur of the moment and I was shocked. 'No, don't touch' doesn't seem to work. If I move him and put him in with his toys he cracks it and ends up screaming which is not fun...argh. On the plus side he is gorgeous and loves dancing, playing peek-a-boo and a find of fetch game with some balls which he has. He is also 'chatting' heaps. We have lots and lots of different sounds which is really cute!
My pg is going well. My back/hip gets quite sore towards the end of the day which is no fun but if I can sit down it feels way better. Sleeping is getting a tad uncomfortable and I feel huge...I don't know how true that is but it sure feels like it!!!
We are thinking about buying a home. Our agents have recently informed us of an increase to our rent and while it is still reasonable for what we have and where we are located, we haven't got any more money and they haven't really maintained the property very well and we don't want to fork over more good money for 'nothing'. So we are looking at land closer to Josh's work and popping a relocatable home on it. Our figures are working out I guess it will be up to the bank and weather we can get the land a bit cheaper than the asking price. I'm a bit excited about it but also apprehensive at the same time.
What an epic this has turned out to be. I've got to go. Sorry I didn't do any personals.

i just wanted to wish you all a Happy Mother's day for tomorrow ! i hope you all have a lovely day with your little bubbas (and older kids) and get a sleep in or breakfast in bed or whatever you desire, we are going out for lunch because for the last 3 years everyone (mother and mil and all family members etc) have come here and i have waited on everyone hand and foot so i said that isn't fair and this year i want to go out so i get looked after !
Hahaha. Good for you Mel! I hope your lunch is wonderful, I'm sure it will be. I love having someone else do the cooking AND the dishes!
I hope all of the rest of you have a lovely day tomorrow too. My DH thought that it was last w/e! I'm expecting some yummy pancakes and jam which we bought at the farmers market today. The jam is strawberry and vanilla, it is so yummy!!!

I have just joined weight watchers so will be watching what I eat. I have already brought myself a new handbag for myself and will be getting some bathroom scales tomorrow - uhhh the things tha make me happy these days
Luey, I feel the same as you, I don't think I want another soon (or maybe ever!!) although dp would love to have one tomorrow but I have put him off until D turns 2 before we TTC. Glad Torrens House helped you, sounds similar to Trisillian and it does seem to have helped it.

I'm just hoping my DH thinks of a better spot to hide my pressie. Last year he hid it in the ironing after I'd said I was going to iron the few things there (well, that's what I told him, but I was actually thinking "ironing, bugger off, it's Mother's Day). Admittedly he took me out for lunch, but after a bit of a barney from me late in the afternoon about not giving me a gift, he basically put the ironing basket at my feet and told me to look inside. And there I found a lovely card and $100 voucher to get a facial etc. I'm still not impressed he left his gift giving/fussing till Mother's Day became Mother's Night (shallow, aren't I!!) ... so I'm hoping he learned his lesson! Guess we'll see. At least, the ironing is up to speed, so it rules out that as a hiding spot.
All well here. Cam and I are recovering from a nasty cold and cough. We've been off work/childcare all week. He's now ok, but I can't shake my cough. Bugger pregnancy ... I want cough medication, boo hoo!! Cam's walking about 90 per cent of the time and is into EVERYTHING! Are any of you having trouble with feeding your toddlers? Cam is going through a mega fussy stage - it's very hit and miss as to what he'll eat and how much. Thank God he loves eggs - he gets them every second day, at least. Anyway, if others are going through this, what do you find works to get them to eat?
Bub wise, I had a scan on Thursday as I've had some very light spotting. Everything looks good. I can't get over how different I feel this pg - so very tired, and continually feel off colour right through the day. Not to mention lack of appetite, unmotivated etc etc etc. I'm told all this is "normal" ... so my pg with Cam must've been a dream - all I suffered was some mild fatigue early on. Hopefully it nicks off soon! Bring on week 12-14!!!

Glad the scan gave you the ok catherine and hope you guys get better soon. I would like to say D is a good eater and mostly he is but he has his days where he eats less then others. I try not to worry about it too much, if after say 2 or 3 days he was being seriously fussy then I don't know what I would start to worry. Sorry if that isn't much help
Had a nice day on Sunday, spent mostly with D as dp was sorting out fishing gear. He is going away on Thurs for about 14 days. Not sure if I should feel this happy that he is going away but anyway we will see what is like when he isn't here.
HI girls, sooooo sorry I have bnne MIA for months and months.... I feel terrible, and you remembered Cohen's bday and still wished him a happy one even though I never check in anymore! Your all so sweet!!
I get so cought up in Facebook I never have time to do anything else online after I have finished there.
Are all our babies walking yet?? Cohen started on his 1st Bday! He never ceases to amaze me. Joel and I are trying for another baby. Hope to get a girl this time round. Fingers crossed.
I need some advice on an issue that Cohen is having...I still feed him during the night. 1-2 feeds depending....If his teeth are giving him pain he'll have as many a 4 or 5!! I don't know what to do. I am sooooooooooooo SICK and TIRED of waking up during the night!! O.V.E.R IT!! it's been going on over a year now. Sometimes he will wake up, have 200ml only to wake up 40 mins later for another 150ml! Don't know what to do, should I make him go cold turkey, or tey to phase them out'? If so, how? Or should I offer him water instead, although have tried that and he just cracked it big time. I'm scared because I know it's going to take sometime (whatever it is that I try) and I'm not sure if I'm prepared to loose any more sleep than I already am. HELP???
