SJ - mj's a good girl eating all her food. im sure she'll be rolling soon, and then crawling following closely!!
it has been tiring. worn out sunday, from travel and poopy didnt sleep well that night. monday was busy and cold! hehe no time for wink wink yet...lots of cuddles tho!
training's good, it's kinda nice to be with my friends and be able to sit down and have lunch leisurely and kid around. i;ve missed that. but it's also hard cos i cant really focus cos im constantly think abt poopy and it's exhausting coming home and trying to make up spending time w him and getting dinner sorted out and his feeds etc.
trina - how are the girls feeling.. hows the horse?
sj/trina - i have to learn the tricks of mixing vegies!
Hi all.
Jesse woke at 5.30. I dunno why but he winged til 7 when I gave up on getting some more sleep.
The music from last night started again at 7 this morning. Only for 10 minutes or so though.
I thought about ringing the police. I found out to day that half the town wanted to!!
Went down for dancing after school & they had to cancel coz someone stole their cd player & all their cds. B*stards!
Then went up to check out that thing to see what it was all about. It was Vibe Alive. It was actually pretty good. FREEZING though!
& guess what. Jaz got to meet Casey Donovan! She had about 30 CDs to sign & sell, but some bloke got in first & bought 24 straight up! By the time it was Jaz's turn there were none left. She was really upset, so Casey said she'd get our address & send us one as soon as she gets back to Sydney. Jaz agreed & Casey opened the front pocket of her bag to get some paoer for our address & there was 1 cd in there!! Jaz was so happy.
I forgot to ask for a pic after all that, so I'm gonna duck up in the morning & see if I can get one.
So exciting!
Anyways. Off to the paed & to get my washing machine tomorrow!!
Night!
I ended up taking Tahnie to the Dr yesterday and would you believe it I got that Di@#head Dr again I didn't realise he was there until his door opened and guess what he was a pr*ck again, i said i know it is viral and that there is no treatment but she has had high temp for three days so wanted her throat and ears checked (paige is prone to tonsillitis) and of course she had no temp cos i gave her panadol before we left..... Anyway he made me feel like a complete idiot that wasted his time for coming there and told me that it astonishes him how people come in complaining of being sick for 3 weeks it is completely normal. NORMAL MY A$$ i have never had a child have high temp for over 3 days that wont go down unless they had throat or ear infection. I got the practice manager's name and when i left i called back and complained about him and said i never want to see him again. I have had him the last 3 times and just after summer was born i had to go get her checked cos i left hossy early and no Dr could come and he was throwing things around the room saying this isn't my responsibility this is my retirement job! *Sorry rant over*
Just a quick one.... I have uploaded some new pics of DJ on my facebook page from our trip to Byron. We didn't get any pics down at the beach unfortunately doh!!
What an a/hole of a dr... a retirement job - get over yourself... he still needs to provide a service.
I guess he would prefer to look at corns and talk about hemorrohoids with old farts what a wa*ker...
I hope you get some good response from the practice manager.
I hope Tahnie is better today, poor thing
MJ started sleeping through when i chnaged er to a sleep suit - just have a big softies one, nothing fancy, i think she was cold in the night.
Wouldnt you believe tit though, she woke last night, but her grobag egg tempreture thingy was blue so she must have gotten cold and needed the feed.
Summer is almost crawling, she can kinda commando crawl and has gone on hands and knees and 'crawled' a couple of steps can't believe how fast she is growing up its not fair
SJ Summer has been waking anywhere from 11pm and comes into my bed so i just feed her then she wakes anywhere from 2-5 times to either use me as a dummy or have a feed, she is right under a window so i don't mind her coming in the bed but she wakes too many times, sometimes i try patting her to sleep and it works other times she won't go back to sleep until she has boobie, she doesn't have a dummy anymore might try that again not sure....
Tahnie had high temp again last night and it's so cold and wet here today so keeping them all home to fight off this virus so they are right next week hopefully. Paige's class has had between 9 and 13 kids away each day this week and Tahnie's class has had 9 each day away
Trina I'm with you they're growing up too fast. As a new mum I was so keen for them to move to the next thing but now I don't coz I know it means my baby is growing up. Paddy has dragged me into baby led solids. He is normally a very placid bub but DH was eating noddles for lunch the other day and Paddy basically demanded that he have something too. I just baked a potato in the microwave and just broke it up with a fork (took the skin off). I fed him some with the spoon and left some for him to pick up. Got a great spoon that goes pink if the food is too hot. I'm not going to bother with pureed food because he seems to 'chew' well.
Went to the paed yesterday. She's pretty sure Jaz's problems will just sort themselves out. She just said she needs to keep seeing the psycologist & to bring her back in 2 months to see if she's got add/adhd. She's going to talk to her teacher & the psycologist & work out what she thinks. The psyc was supposed to ring her & let her know what he wanted her to look at, but he didn't, so I had to try to explain it to her, but I didn't really know. Anyway.
Asked her about Jesse too & him not sleeping & the fact that he never really has apart from the first 10 weeks & she suggested giving him a bottle before bed & maybe even one through the day just for a break since he feeds every 2 hours.
I think I'll just stick to make sure he has something solid for dinner though. He was starting tp settle down a bit, but hasn't had much the last 2 days coz we've been busy. I think thats why he woke up 5 times last night too.
Waiting for my washing machine. Anths boss said he would bring it home for us coz he had to go to Dubbo to pick up his car that was gettingh fixed, but he hasn't been around to get the reciept yet. Its 4pm now, so I guess it'll be tomorrow. If he went in now he wouldn't get there til about 6, so mis car musn't be ready.
Anths mum & dad will be here tomorrow. They got the car sorted finally. I think I'll ring them & ask them to bring it over if he doesn't show.
I was so excited about doing some washing too.

Trina - i hope that w@nker doctor gets into trouble. gawd..... i cant believe he said that.
cant believe summer;s starting to crawl! good on her. i think im not ready for poopy to crawl nor is the house. im going to try to do a clean up this weekend. all the clothes he could wear before we went away are too small for him now. and all the clothes that were big before i had put away, which would fit him now.
steve bought some Bonds wondersuits, the 0 ones dont have built in mittens...
hope tahnie is better and sleeping well.
skye - glad the paed was good. the last thing you want is someone to put her on drugs unnecessarily. hope the problems she's been having goes away.
hoep you get your washing machine tomorrow!!
bron - thanks! he has changed a lot i think. i havnet weighed him in a mth, but his cheeks have filled out so i hope he's been putting on more weight.
yes, every day there were ppl fussing over him, i feel sorry for him here, it;s just me and him during hte day. poor kid.
i love the pic of Will in his high chair! he's so cute!!!
all we had was rain and rain. so cold and miserable. i wanted to go to the shops but didnt bother.
i have given just apples, wanted to get some fruits and veggies for him but weather didnt permit. will get some tomorrow. going to get avacado too.
Well I got offered an extension on my contract at work until end of November at this stage. The new director who I will be PA for is due to start in the next 2-4 weeks and after we get used to eachother I will probably be offered my position permanentley. But I also just looked out of interest today and saw a job that would be perfect for me on the Sunshine Coast. We've been talking about moving to QLD ever since we got married 3.5 years ago. The job in QLD is 10-20k more a year and starts in October. Matt said if we move he will look after Jazz full time.
After talking to my supervisor today, I've decided I will sign and accept the contract extension and also apply for this job. What have I got to loose. My supervisor said it's good to have many options in one's career and he totally supports any decision I make although he doesn't want to loose me. He also agreed to be a referee for me.
I'm happy and scared at the thought of possibly moving but it's a dream we've had for ages.
One step at a time. I'll send the application and see what happens!
Wow Danni! Sounds exciting!!
Hope you get it. Its a long way to move, but it'd have to be warmer.
I've always wanted to move up that way, but its too busy up there for me. Sad to say, I'm a country bumkin all the way. I might be able to handle living in Dubbo or Coffs coz I know them, but nowhere else that size!
Trina - Wow, crawling already! Good luck with that. I'll pass for a bit.
Hope your girls come good soon. What a pr*ck of a doctor! If Tahnie's fever doesn't go away maybe you should take her to the hospital. Hopefully he won't be there! Poor little thing.
Jesse is trying to get along the ground. He digs in his feet & tries to kick forward. He seems to go backwards alot more though!
Yesterday I left him with no nappy on for a bit & left him with some toys. We were sitting with him, but not watching too close. We started watching him trying to get to a toy, then he sorta got one side up in the air & I noticed that he'd pood! All over his play mat & he had it from his chest to his feet!! He'd been moving backwards & slipping & sliding in it for about 10 minutes!! But he kept it well hidden. I had SIL there & neither of us saw or smelt it. That was fun!!
Still haven't heard from Anths boss about my washing machine. Anth's gonna go get it. I'm not happy though. We don't have much money & it costs $60 in petrol to get there & back minimum. We've got $250 to do the weekly shopping & petrol & smokes for Anth & the $60 has to come out of that. Sad huh.
If he'd just ring & let us know we could get Anths mum & dad to pick it up. They are in there today anyway & are coming over here later.
Thay've already left though & til I ring Good Guys at 9 I won't know if the boss has already picked it up or not.
Bloody men! I swear they are all useless. If his boss would just turn the phone on everything would be fine.
Jazz is no where near crawling yet. She still hates tummy time and hasn't rolled over for ages. Should she be more interested in rolling and/or trying to crawl by now?
A friend of mine told me today that she was getting dressed this morning and suddenly thought to herself that I was moving to QLD. Then I told her about the job. Funny huh that she thought it before I said anything.
Prama - No I didn't think to take pictures! I was more worried about how I was going to clean it!!
Got my washing machine. Its so perdy!!
It talks to us (well it talked to Anth & FIL when they turned it on. Hasn't talked to me yet) & beeps when its finished. & it has a timer thing so I can set it to start in 1, 3, or 9 hours.
It's so sparkly & white!
Danni - how's she with sitting? I think they should roll around 4 - 5 months (she is rolling, so don't worry), then the sitting average is 6 - 7 months, then crawling is 8 - 10 months.
Those are only averages. Some are early, some are late. Its not too important. You know she CAN do it, so don't worry.
She has rolled twice several weeks ago. She's trying to sit up but still needs to be supported coz she gets very distracted. I do try and not support her but keep my hands very close so I can catch her. Sometimes she sits fine until she gets excited and starts rocking and kicking her legs.
