Hi all.
Went to the paed yesterday. She's pretty sure Jaz's problems will just sort themselves out. She just said she needs to keep seeing the psycologist & to bring her back in 2 months to see if she's got add/adhd. She's going to talk to her teacher & the psycologist & work out what she thinks. The psyc was supposed to ring her & let her know what he wanted her to look at, but he didn't, so I had to try to explain it to her, but I didn't really know. Anyway.
Asked her about Jesse too & him not sleeping & the fact that he never really has apart from the first 10 weeks & she suggested giving him a bottle before bed & maybe even one through the day just for a break since he feeds every 2 hours.
I think I'll just stick to make sure he has something solid for dinner though. He was starting tp settle down a bit, but hasn't had much the last 2 days coz we've been busy. I think thats why he woke up 5 times last night too.
Waiting for my washing machine. Anths boss said he would bring it home for us coz he had to go to Dubbo to pick up his car that was gettingh fixed, but he hasn't been around to get the reciept yet. Its 4pm now, so I guess it'll be tomorrow. If he went in now he wouldn't get there til about 6, so mis car musn't be ready.
Anths mum & dad will be here tomorrow. They got the car sorted finally. I think I'll ring them & ask them to bring it over if he doesn't show.
I was so excited about doing some washing too.
-

cant believe summer;s starting to crawl! good on her. i think im not ready for poopy to crawl nor is the house. im going to try to do a clean up this weekend. all the clothes he could wear before we went away are too small for him now. and all the clothes that were big before i had put away, which would fit him now.
steve bought some Bonds wondersuits, the 0 ones dont have built in mittens...
hope tahnie is better and sleeping well.
skye - glad the paed was good. the last thing you want is someone to put her on drugs unnecessarily. hope the problems she's been having goes away.
hoep you get your washing machine tomorrow!!
bron - thanks! he has changed a lot i think. i havnet weighed him in a mth, but his cheeks have filled out so i hope he's been putting on more weight.

Well I got offered an extension on my contract at work until end of November at this stage. The new director who I will be PA for is due to start in the next 2-4 weeks and after we get used to eachother I will probably be offered my position permanentley. But I also just looked out of interest today and saw a job that would be perfect for me on the Sunshine Coast. We've been talking about moving to QLD ever since we got married 3.5 years ago. The job in QLD is 10-20k more a year and starts in October. Matt said if we move he will look after Jazz full time.
After talking to my supervisor today, I've decided I will sign and accept the contract extension and also apply for this job. What have I got to loose. My supervisor said it's good to have many options in one's career and he totally supports any decision I make although he doesn't want to loose me. He also agreed to be a referee for me.
I'm happy and scared at the thought of possibly moving but it's a dream we've had for ages.
One step at a time. I'll send the application and see what happens!
-
Wow Danni! Sounds exciting!!
Hope you get it. Its a long way to move, but it'd have to be warmer.
I've always wanted to move up that way, but its too busy up there for me. Sad to say, I'm a country bumkin all the way. I might be able to handle living in Dubbo or Coffs coz I know them, but nowhere else that size!
Trina - Wow, crawling already! Good luck with that. I'll pass for a bit.
Hope your girls come good soon. What a pr*ck of a doctor! If Tahnie's fever doesn't go away maybe you should take her to the hospital. Hopefully he won't be there! Poor little thing.
Jesse is trying to get along the ground. He digs in his feet & tries to kick forward. He seems to go backwards alot more though!
Yesterday I left him with no nappy on for a bit & left him with some toys. We were sitting with him, but not watching too close. We started watching him trying to get to a toy, then he sorta got one side up in the air & I noticed that he'd pood! All over his play mat & he had it from his chest to his feet!! He'd been moving backwards & slipping & sliding in it for about 10 minutes!! But he kept it well hidden. I had SIL there & neither of us saw or smelt it. That was fun!!
Still haven't heard from Anths boss about my washing machine. Anth's gonna go get it. I'm not happy though. We don't have much money & it costs $60 in petrol to get there & back minimum. We've got $250 to do the weekly shopping & petrol & smokes for Anth & the $60 has to come out of that. Sad huh.
If he'd just ring & let us know we could get Anths mum & dad to pick it up. They are in there today anyway & are coming over here later.
Thay've already left though & til I ring Good Guys at 9 I won't know if the boss has already picked it up or not.
Bloody men! I swear they are all useless. If his boss would just turn the phone on everything would be fine.
-
I did it! I just sent my application for the job in Queensland. I'm buzzing with excitement!
-
danni- good luck!! really hope you get it!!!!xox
skye - ewwww but funny!!!did you take pictures?
hope the washing machine gets sorted out.
do they crawl or sit first?
-
Jazz is no where near crawling yet. She still hates tummy time and hasn't rolled over for ages. Should she be more interested in rolling and/or trying to crawl by now?
A friend of mine told me today that she was getting dressed this morning and suddenly thought to herself that I was moving to QLD. Then I told her about the job. Funny huh that she thought it before I said anything.
-
Prama - No I didn't think to take pictures! I was more worried about how I was going to clean it!!
Got my washing machine. Its so perdy!!
It talks to us (well it talked to Anth & FIL when they turned it on. Hasn't talked to me yet) & beeps when its finished. & it has a timer thing so I can set it to start in 1, 3, or 9 hours.
It's so sparkly & white!
Danni - how's she with sitting? I think they should roll around 4 - 5 months (she is rolling, so don't worry), then the sitting average is 6 - 7 months, then crawling is 8 - 10 months.
Those are only averages. Some are early, some are late. Its not too important. You know she CAN do it, so don't worry.
-
She has rolled twice several weeks ago. She's trying to sit up but still needs to be supported coz she gets very distracted. I do try and not support her but keep my hands very close so I can catch her. Sometimes she sits fine until she gets excited and starts rocking and kicking her legs.
-
Danni - Well I wouldn't worry. She's sitting about the same as Jesse is. He'll sit for a bit, then try to eat his toes! It all goes out the door from there!!
Poor Jesse's teething. Last night he was really upset. We did have a house full of people, which was out of the ordinary, but his cheeks were really red & puffy & he's got the runs.
He had to have panadol last night coz he'd just start screaming at the drop of a hat. He was too irritable to go to sleep.
He wasn't as bad tonight, but still had the red cheeks & wanting to chew on anything & everything.
He's not really interested in eating too. Poor bubba's gums are too sore.
Bri got her first at 5.5 months, Jaz was about 7 months. So he'll have one soon I reckon. I hope we don't have any probs with bf when he does start getting them.
-
danni - good luck hun, hope you hear something soon!! sounds great!!
skye - oh cool the washing machine talks!! it'll be nice if it can make dinner too.
poopy rolls and rolls but is no where sittingup on his own. he can if he's on my lap or we sit him up but for a short while only.
gotta run... he;s crying
-
Prama - I took a pic of the wash/mach & texted it to mum & told her what it does & she texted back & said 'cool, can it cook & watch the kids too!?!'
I wish!!
-
oooohhh watching kids is a much better option!!!
-
Well its been a huge few days in this part of the world. Thursday night i Get a call form the doctor to say my blood test came back with platlettes of 15,000 and suggested I go to casualty. I told her no *L* she was the on call doctor had no idea of my history and just hit the panic button.( I knew they were very low as I am covered in bruises but they havent been this low for 4 years.) Anyway I told her I would call my doc in the morning and get some steroids as I didnt want a transfusion she wasnt to happy. Next Day my Doc says ok you can have steroids 75 mg a day but only for 4 days( I dont sleep clean the house like mad and get migraines and heart palpatations) I had to beg him not to put me into hospital as we had my mums suprise 60th birthday party and people came from New Zealand and all.I then get a call to say he has spoken with my heamotologist and they are going straight for the big guns. Rituximab which they use to treat non hodgkins lymphoma with. I had it before and it gave me 3 years remmision. Unfortunatley it means I have to wait a minimum of 12 months after treatment finishes to even think about trying for another baby if we are allowed:-( we didnt want to wait too long as I am 38 next April. This stuff kills your bcells and also gives me lows neutrophils so I have to inject a cell growth stimulate which comes with a warning that can cause cells to mutate into cancerous cells with long term use. This wil be the third time.
My head is spinning.I know I have to be well for Will and will do what ever I have to but there is a very real possibilty we wont be able to have another baby and its been pretty full on. I will also have to leave Will once a week for 6 weeks whilst i have treatment and am usualy wiped out the next day and I am worried about he and I will handle it all.
Have been tired beyond belief which is one of the symptoms and WIll god love him has decided that 5 is the new time he will wake up *L* arghhhhhhhh
SO have to wait until Wednsday to see when the drugs arrive and where I wil lhave them eitherin the hospital or the cancer clininc attatched.
ON a high night mums suprise went off really well..not such a suprise as she gets so suspicious and said she knew somehtign was going on.. We had a dinner for 20 in an old Anglican chapel by candel light it was amazing. Will was so well behaved and gave everybody loads of smiles and laughs although he was abit thrown by all the candles. He went to sleep right on que and stayed that way for the rest of the night.
So thats me..sorry ot blab on about it all just been a huge couple of days and a lot to take in.Hope you have all had agood weekend

Bron - I hope you are feeling better soon. Be strong girl.
-
Bron - hun, you have so much going on! oh darling, I hope that with all that's going on, you will be able to have another baby..
Any chance you can try tonight???? ;)
It'll be tough having a week away from Will.
Is this something that reoccurs or just so happens it's come back?
Any way this can be avoided for the next time.
It really sux taking all that shots and medication.
You are a really strong person, you're amazing. You inspire me, Bron. Somedays I get so tired and exhausted, I feel it's the Lupus, and I get upset and think it's not fair. It's harder for you having to go into hossy and all. :hugs:
yes, it does make me tired even more so too, with Lakshman deciding to wake up at least twice in the middle of the night. The cold doesnt help, just feel I want to sleep and sleep and sleep. But as you said once before, even when someone else is looking after him and im trying to sleep, as soon as I hear him cry, I wake up and not feel rested at all.
This morning he woke up at 4.45 and went to bed at 5.30. i thot i slept for 10mins when he cried again and it was 7.45.
Maybe one day, I should get steve to take him out or to mil's and i can have a peaceful nap. if he's in the house, i dont feel i sleep so well.
anyway, sorry it;s gone about me. I hope things go well on Wed. xoxoxxo. im thinking of you, hun. i just think you're fantastic!!!
-
Oh Bron i am so sorry...
YOu just have had a really bad time of it lately havent you :comfort:
I know that you want another bubba, but it is so important that you get yourself better right now.
Hopefully the treatment will put you into remission for even longer this time.
You didnt think that you would be pg with Will, im sure that you will be able to have another.
As Prama said, you are amazing, i have nothing wrong with me and sometimes i feel sooooo damn tired i waant to sleep for a week, i cant even being to imagine how you must be feeling. Whinge and vent away on here, we are all here for you - just wish i was closer, cos then i would give you a real one of these
Danni - goodluck with the job application, what a change that will all be. Are any of your family in QLD or Matts?
Prama - Do you reckon that Lakshman is getting cold an dthats why he is waking? I have recently started sleeping mj in a sleeping bag and a sheet and light blanket and she is sooooo much better - i think that she was getting cold, using energy to warm herself and then getting hungry quicker so needing a feed...
MJ woke last night at 1am for a feed, DH snored all night so i really havent had that much sleep, i feel soooo tired... MJ isnt awake yet, i try and get up 30mins before DH and MJ so that i can come on here with no interruptions, I also make DH sandwiches for morning tea - he wont eat untillunch if i dont tut tut....
will be back later, sorry its a short one...
Oh i know what i was going to say - woo hoo :cheer: skye for the new machine !!!
We can put our on timer, i load it up at night, put it on a delay start for 9 hours, then it is done for the next morning, means that i can get a load hung first thing in the morning if its going to be a nice day - or i put it on a delay start and a soak, but its not going all day... its great for that.
-
heading out the door..
sj ive beenthinking that.. but he's in a spencer top, bodysuit, long sleeve sleeping bag, a sheet, blanket and wrap over him.
i might try another layer tonight. i knowhe's not hot...
off to dentist

SJ: No, neither of us have any family up there but I know my mum in particular would fly up to visit every couple of months. Matt lived in Brisbane for a couple of years before we met and still keeps in contact with friends up there so we'd know some people and would certainly get to know more.
I'm gonna ring the place in the next couple of days to make sure they got my application.
-
Thanks for all your words girls sorry my head was in such a spin and was having bait of a woe is me time hence the badly typed blurb. It will be ok drugs are starting to work just have to wait till the others arrive from Sydney at least I know what I am in for.
I gave Will some bananna this morning i wish I had a video camera I have never seen so many hilarious faces in all my life he HATED it. I kept trying as he usualy pulls a face with his start of a feed. I went and made up some apple and farex instead and he woolfed it down so its the first food he has refused.
Danni good on you wanting to follow a dream and move somewhere new I wish you the best of luck with the job
Skye I am with you on the teeting thing WIlls cheeks are glowing he looks like a bad cartoon of santa the dribble is unreal and he is whingy which isnt like him.I bought panadol today for the really tough times.HOws your machine going you washed out yet?

Prama how did all the training go?

Oh and hi Darlene if you are reading ;-)

Lol Bron. I'm still going, but now I've got the biggest pile of folding I've ever seen!!
-
Hi all,
Bron you are entitled to whinge geez woman! don't let us all take the whinge quota... Gotta get your share. Summer had banana for the first time this morning, she didn't mind it but not her fave, she hasn't really not liked anything yet, vegemite she pulled a funny face but she kept on shovelling it in. Its a messy business hey?
Tahnie has been off school for over a week, she has lost over 3kg's which is a lot for a little person she is so boney, going to probably send her tomorrow made her eat and eat today, had to almost force it on her to begin with. I have a sore throat too plus finally got AF for 1st time so generally feeling crappy.
Good on you SJ  what a good wife you are.
Yay on the washing machine Skye makes washing fun (well for a little while) you'll be over it soon so enjoy the fun.... My washing machine died then not long after the dryer poo'd the bed too. Summer's little teeth are sooooo bloody sharp, she has just rubbed me a few times when feeding and OUCH!!!! I hope she doesn't decide to have a chomp any time soon.
Summer is quickly mastering commando crawling, she is constantly pushing up on hands and toes or hands and knees and can do the crawling motion with her legs but not the hands so much so ends up going on her belly and pushing on her elbows and knees or toes luckily she isn't too fast yet, if she sees something she wants she will find a way to get there with a mixture of rolling commando crawling and wiggling.
Off to bed nice clean sheets awaiting my fave thing.....
-
Ah you just popped up Skye.... I like the washing bit but the folding is the worst i don't have much room and theres piles of clothes everywhere then messy rooms messy drawers BLAH!!!!!! Tahnie tends to pull all clothes out of her drawers too so all nicely folded things all over the floor...
-
I don't have drawers for Bri. No point! I've got a big pink plastic tub with a lid.
Jaz is hopeless with drawers to, but she's not in the house as much to pull everything out!
-
Hey girls,
DJ has his first real cold obviously got it from me. He has been really sooky and got some dimetap to give him before bed a friend of mine suggested it and said it will help his runny nose. Poor bubba :( so keeping him indoors for next few days and might sleep him with us tonight. He has been getting non stop cuddles as well.
This is my last week of maternity leave. Go into work tomorrow to meet with my boss about my projects etc for when I return. Kind of looking forward to it actually, especially getting back to work. I know it will be hard but I enjoy my job and I could never be a full-time mum - I always need brain stimulation. Typical gemini I suppose. Doni has promised to help me around the house as well.
Trina - oh wow on Summer's commando crawling that is fantastic. If I have DJ on my lap he tries to leap off to get to something but forgets he can't walk or crawl just yet. Don't think it will be long now, he is sitting up much better now.
Bron - isn't it funny to see their reactions from the different foods you give them. All learning...
Prama - are you going to class tomorrow it is the last one now. Ness isn't doing the personal training anymore..... I can't take DJ though he has a cold and I want to keep him indoors. Doni will look after him for me so I can do the class. I will feel odd without Dj though.
Skye - ahhhh teething.... DJ has been teething for almost 2 months now..... still no tooth though.....takes forever for those first teeth to come through.
Danni - good luck with your application.
Well I better go DJ is about to wake up for his last feed tonight.

I rang to make sure they got my application and told them again (even though it was in my cover letter) that I'm looking to relocate and really keen. But I got an email this afternoon telling me I was unsuccessful. I do wonder if it is because of my location. I've emailed back thanking them for taking the time to look at my resume and asking for feedback on why I was unsuccessful so I can improve for future applications.
I'm so sad. We've had a dream to move to QLD for almost 4 years. How can I make it happen? I don't want to pack up and move unless I have a job to go to, but it would be nice to just go and then look for a job but we can't afford to. One day maybe when we've paid a lot more off our loan we could take out another loan to move - that will be years away though.
Does anyone mix farax in a bottle with formula? If so, how much do you add to a full bottle?
-
I got a good response to my email asking why I was unsuccessful.
Hi Danielle,
Thanks for your email. We have had a HUGE response for this vacancy and
the applicants were of a very high standard. Your application was fine;
it just came down to who had the strongest skills and experience.
All the best.
So at least I know it wasn't anything to do with my location or a poorly written application or anything that I could have done better. I think I'll keep trying though and in the mean time, It looks like I'll be staying put at the uni which is good. We decided that if we don't get to QLD before hand, we'll wait till we've paid a bit more debt off (5-6 years) then take out another loan to get us there and help us live for a couple of weeks until I find a job. Although, I'd prefer to move before Jazz is old enough to start kindy/school and before we have number 2 (in about 3 years).
-
Hi Danni. I don't think mixing Farex to the bottle is a good idea. Don't worry, I've tried it, so I'm not just saying it out of no where.
I was desperate with Bri's colic & was willing to try anything to stop the screaming. MIL told me she used to put Farex in the bottle for DH to fill him up more. I did it for a bit - just about a teaspoon, but then I said something to my mum about it.
She said she'd seen people do it, but the ones she saw were the 'get baby to sleep longer so I can party' types. Which at 16/17 is the type MIL was.
They did it in younger babies too.
I don't think it'll be necessary. You're better off feeding it to her if you want her to have it.
-
Thanks for the response Skye. I have been using 1-1.25 teaspoons in the bottle and it doesn't seem to be doing any harm. I don't know that it's making any difference to her sleep. We still have to give her a bottle once during the night. (Matt tends to go to bed late so he has started just waking her up for a nappy change and bottle before he goes to bed).
-
Afternoon girls,
Just a quick one....I went into work today to meet with my manager and talked about upcoming projects etc, and I am really excited about going back now. Everyone commented on how skinny I look which was a great self-esteem boost considering I felt really bloated..... Lots of great things happening too which is even better. Still working 3 days per week which will be a good balance. Doni's work creche isn't opened yet so my stepmum and dad are going to look after DJ in the short term. I will probably look into another childcare centre just in case the creche doesn't work out.
DJ is now reaching out for me and taps me on the arm it is soooo cute, think since he is just sick with his cold and just needs his mummy all of the time. Don't mind but I am back to cuddling him to sleep only because he is sick. Last time I got him out of the habit and only took me a few days so hopefully will work the same once he is better.
Prama/Trina - what are your movements this week or Monday? Would love to see you :) maybe we can organise to see Trina :)
Hope everyone is well.

Jesse's started reaching for me to, but usually grabs me for a kiss. Well I think its a kiss. He could be looking for a feed on my face!! He grabs my skin with his nails & kinda looks like he's gonna latch on to me.
He's been grabbing me with his nails while feeding too. That's painful.
He's getting slowly better at sitting, & has only been waking about twice a night lately.
I was gonna say something else, but I forgot.
I'll come back later if I remember.
-
Jazz has been grabbing our faces for a few weeks now. I can't stand it when she touches my face after she's sucked her hands. She puts her arms out for me now too. I noticed it for the first time last week when I picked her up from FDC. The carer was holding her and she put her arms out for me, I was so stoked. Now when we put her on our lounge chairs and then say something like "do you wanna go..." she puts her arms up and leans forward. I think she is starting to understand what we are saying now, I can tell by the reactions she gives us.
-
Hi Danni - from what i've read, they've said not to give farex in a bottle as a meal. my mum said she used to do the same, giving us a tiny bit of farex in the bottle to help us sleep. Dont know if it made any difference tho.
we went to the paed this morning.
because of his excema, paed said not to give him any food which has tiny seeds, like strawberries, tomatoes etc. also to avoid egg, yolk or white till he's 1.
he also said since he's been on solids for a mth, we can hv 3 meals a day and inc meat/fish. he said give him his meal first then milk, and he will have how much he wants.
sj - i tried putting an extra layer for him but he was still restless. spoke to pead about it and he said, he's at that stage where wants someone to come pick him up. he suggested controlled crying. i find it hard, will give it ago tonight.
shell - monday is ok for me, will lunchish be ok. been having a very busy week and a busier weekend.
so good to hear them saying you look great and skinny.. that just makes you feel great doesnt it!! well done w your pole dancing and walking
we had his 6mths shots just now.. he's been clingy and just went to bed. i just made a huge batch of solids. pumpkin, turnip, carrots, broccoli, sweet potato all w different combo.
im going to get some fish and spinach etc tomorrow.
how do i prepare blueberries? thought of adding it into his cereal. should i cook it first?
danni - so sorry about the QLD job, but sometimes things happen for a reason. maybe there's something else for you here or you might get to qld when the sunshine coast is ready for you!
poopy grabs our faces and nose and hair. he's fascinated the way my hair moves in the wind! the other day, he grabbed my mother's face and pressed his face against hers. we've been teaching him to kiss.
also my mum taught him a song where you move your wrist in circles. he picked that up. and today, he was talking to his wrist and moving it in circles. i wonder if he's singing that song. sometimes when i sing him that song, he remembers and does the motions.
it's so amazing to see them do things!!
today he looked at me and said 'amma'
he's moved a few times while rolling and lifting his bum, not sure what that means. mil said he's not far from crawling. eeek. im so not ready, the house isnt ready!!! he was on his tummy today and kinda did a superman move forward. steve said he's seen him do that a couple of times.
he always waves his arms and legs like crazy w a huge smile if he wants us to lift him. and gives a deep throated grunt if he wants something and cant get it.
trina - how are you doing? how are they girls feelign now
skye - has the washing machine had a chat w you yet?
-
Prama - No! I feel left out!! What's so good about DH? Maybe its a girl & was flirting. :p
Oh well. It does as its told, so I'm happy.
The washing machine is the reason for my 'In Love' mood!
-
skye - hehe. maybe it just does what you say and doesnt talk back!!!
-
Hey...yeah. That'd be a first!
Everyone else has no problems sharing their opinions!!
-
morning girls,
Danni, sorry about the job, but as Prama says, maybe it was fo a reason, there will be something better around the corner.
Shell - i cant believe that its 6 mths already and you are going back to work! Great that everyone commented on your figure - i guess its all those kms that you have been walking :)
Skye, glad the washing machine is not answering you back  how are things on the home front? any improvements? I hope things are settling for you
Prama - how cute that he is saying amma! Mj lifts her bum too and has been moving around a bit more, she still does the lazy susan thing and spins around to get what she wants ha ha.
DSS had eczema when he was little and we couldnt give him tomatoes oranges or pineapple as it would make him worse, it seemed the more acidic the food, the worse he would be... he is fine now thou.
RE the controlled crying, how did it go? I dont want to tell you what to do, but there are other options than to just let your bubba cry it out, Paeds do know a lot, but rarely do they have to put things like that in to practice and do not always stay up do date with the latest information - i would also speak to your child health nurse as they are continually attending conferences and staying up with best practice...
i know that Mum used it with us and we are ok, but after reading up a bit on it, i am not so comfortable with it and will try other options. I was reading on here the other day that there was a girl with an 8 mth old and he still wakes every 2-4hrs over night, this is normal, sleeping through is not something that many babys will achieve until 2 yrs old. there is so much pressure to have a baby that sleeps through, that the women with bubs that dont, feel like there is something wrong, when in actual fact it is normal for them to wake.
A friend of mine was up no less than 4 times overnight with her second until he hit 2 years... controlled crying didnt work for them, her baby would wake the whole house crying hysterically until he wore himself out from crying and feel asleep - poor little mite thought that his Mummy was not there or didnt care to come in... i dont know, i just dont want to head down that track, i would rather be a bit more sleep deprived but have a baby that knows im there and will give her an extra feed if she needs it... sorry, didnt think i would write that much, just my opinion thou.
Trina - how are the girls? how are you? hope things are OK
Bron - hows the treatment going :hugs: hope you are starting to feel a bit better - take care of yourself, have a whinge on here and let us know how ou are going... im thinking of you
Oh and Trina - not so much a good wife for getting up, it just makes my life easier and DH less grumpier so just sensible
-
sj - not at all, i dont mind your feedback, i appreciate it.
im going to see the MCN tomorrow anyways.
He slept most of the night prob cos of the panadol after his immunisation.
he woke up at 6, and i gave him a feed. he had trouble going to sleep, and he just cries and grizzles in his sleep. i pat him back. i cant bear to see him cry and his tears flow all over his face. i did avoid picking up, but just patted him. it does quieten him when i pat him.
I know, it'd break my heart if i had to let him cry it out. even tho they say leave them for 3 minutes, it seems like eternity!!
gotta go. need to get organised.
xoxoxo
oh, how do you give corn? i gave him some corn the other day and hwen he did a poo his bum was all sore. maybe there was too much skin? i've steamed it now and put it thru a strainer to get rid of the skin...
should i steam blueberries or just puree them fresh?

Morning girls,
Poor little DJ still has his cold but I tell you what he is in high spirits, still laughing and smiling away. I had him in his cot this morning with his favourite mobile on and he was non-stop laughing. Made me feel better to know the cold isn't making him too weak etc. The other day he was just very limp and weak and not his usual self.
Prama - coolies on Monday - I will need to confirm on the weekend myself. That will be the day before I start back at work so need to make sure I am all organised. The only way I will be able to make it work is to be all organised the night before and have DJ's stuff ready and my stuff ready to go. Think I will get into a habit of washing my hair the day before. Oh wow on the changes in Poopy he has changed so much and I can't wait to see how much he has grown. Sounds like your paed apt went really well and good stuff on the solids. I am giving DJ at least 2 meals a day, this week he isn't eating much of the solids, more so thirsty and just wants fluids so that is ok. He is at least having 4-5 teaspoons on top of his formula feeds. They are so much more interactive now aren't they? I think that will be what will make it hard going back to work, but I just have to realise that I have a good balance 4 days at home with him and 3 days at work. I think it will work. I just couldn't be a full-time mum. Oh and on the corn, maybe he has had an allergic reaction to it? one of the recipe books I bought said allergic reactions can be diarrohea, nappy rash, runny nose or another rashes.... Just a thought.... Try it again and see how it goes though. Just try to blend it a bit more...
SJ - yeah time went by sooooo quickly that is for sure. Looking forward to some brain stimulation though. I will miss DJ so much though. I will just bring in a few photos to put up on my wall so I can look at him throughout the day :)
Skye - haha on being in love with your washing machine. I remember when we first got our dishwasher I was sooo in love with it haha ;)
Danni - that is soooo cute, they are just growing up so quickly now.
Well I better get some housework done. Doni has this week off work so we are trying to do stuff around the house before I get back to work. OMG guess what??!!!! Doni said to me yesterday that he thinks we should get a cleaner in at least every fortnight to give me a break and so I don't have to stress about making sure the hosue is tidy etc. I nearly fell off my chair. I have an ironing lady and now I have to investigate some cleaners. Once a fortnight to mainly do our floors and give the bathrooms a good clean is all I need really.
Ok girls, have a super super day
