SJ - I'm so jelouse! My dream car is a VW convertable!! Could you imagine me trying to fit 3 kids & all the crap that comes with them into a Vee Dub Beetle?? Lol!
Trina - I'm Ok. Car rego is just about organised. Still looking at houses near mums. I don't think I'll ever make up my mind the way I'm going.
Will had his 6 month needles today I cant beleive 6 months!! He weighed in at 7.5 kilos and 66 cm long. Health nurse said he is going great guns and impressed that he holds his own cup and dirnks water from it. ( little buggar will hold anything any stick it in his mouth) She suggested I start meat etc now in his solids so thats our next step.
Still no word on the drugs count is high but steroids causing havoc with sleep and body patterns will have another count tommorow and see what happens.

bron - yaay Will! he's doing great!!
we gave him some fish with potatoes and carrot. he cried eating it and then threw it all up.. poor bubba. I then ate it and it wasnt nice.. i tasted it earlier but not ate it, ate it. i should have added some cereal to make it yummier. maybe it was too bland for him.
my darling baby has a sore throat.. he sounds like joe ****er.. he woke up today and his voice went funny. im going to go to the chemist tomorrow and ask if he should have anything for his throat. thot of getting some teething gel as well.
oh, he did a caterpillar crawl yesterday! we were at mil's at he lifted his bum and moved his knees forward. he did this a couple of times. eeek.. im so so not ready.. the house is not ready. maybe this could be a blessing in disguise and steve wont leave his crap everywhere????
Prama - Jesse's been doing that for a few weeks now. Digging the feet in & lifting his bum right up trying to get around.
He's getting around a bit now. I have to make sure the girls don't leave anything lying around, coz he's getting too good at getting hold of things he shouldn't have!
The blankets I'm bringing out to put him on are getting bigger & bigger & he's still finding his way off pretty quickly!

Well back to work for me tomorrow, and I am sooooo organised kehehee washed my hair tonight. Got DJ's rice cereal in bowl, bottles ready, nappy bag packed, my clothes ready to go. kehehee I am sooooo organised. I even pureed some pumpkin!!! My mum is looking after him tomorrow and then my stepmum the other days this week. Doni is going to speak to his work about the creche but my stepmum is happy to look after him for me in the long term if need be.... so that is good.
I took DJ to Gymbaroo today and he loved it, smiling and laughing. We were dancing around and he did a leap out of my arms and I was lucky my arms were quick enough to hold him back.... arghhhh he is going to be an active one for sure..... then he was on his tummy and he tried to get ready to crawl. Just one small creep I was smiling but of course this was the first ever day that he peed on me !!!! It took 5.5 months but he finally did it. They had lots of equipment etc to encourage tummy time. It was great, lots of exercises to strengthen his shoulders, legs and tummy etc :)
Prama - oh no poor Poopy :( It is horrible when they are sick. DJ hasn't managed to get rid of his sniffles, but Dimetap seems to help if he is really blocked up and of course we love the Little Fess. And wow on the caterpillar crawl, looks like he might be crawling soon Wooohooooo but know what you mean about not being ready. I keep saying I need to babyproof house but never get around to it....
Bron - that is great news about Will's progress and what a star holding his own cup. I am trying to train DJ to hold his own bottle with the handles. Getting there..... I think the handles are too far, coz he can hold his bottle for a few seconds by himself.
SJ - congrats on the weight loss and just before your 30th birthday. Hope you have a wonderful birthday sweetie, in case I don't get on here before then. Congrats again. It is hard to lose the weight, I still have a flabby belly, that never seems to dissappear....
Trina - I am actually looking forward to getting dressed up and stimulating my brain. So yeah it will be exhausting but hey I have to take care of me. Oh bugger on Summer getting upset at creche while you were with personal trainer. Well done on your training, you are doing so well.
Skye - hope your dad gets better :)

MJ wok up at 5.30 this morning, feed change then didnt want to go back down, ended up taking her into bed with us, where she cooed and chatted... i managed to fall asleep at about 6.30, then my alarm went at 7 - bugger that i thought, i will sleep til 8am, but DH phone rang twice so i just got up... think i will walk around in fog all day.
I hope poopy is feeling better and his sore throat doesnt bother him too much - poor thing

Morning all
My little Summy is all of a sudden not going down easily during the day, I am still wrapping her during the day as she wont sleep otherwise and now she is ready to not be wrapped but if she isn't she just rolls over and plays and crawls all around the cot and just yells and yells. And of course last night she woke up and does what poopy does but in stead of the crying she YELLS so loud but nothing would make her stop so ended up feeding her about 4 times during the night.
She can sit now for long periods, she still falls forward if she reaches too far but sometimes can put her hand out and lean on it. She gets up on her hands and knees and rocks for ages its very cute and she can get around the whole loungeroom now which is a pain because i have to check the floor for little toys or fluff or food etc as she finds every crumb and goes play with it or puts it in her mouth, she is growing up way too fast she is going to be a mummys girl she is starting to get upset if she can't see me.
I put some pics in the gallery, i took them yesterday one of her rocking with bare bum.
Good luck today shell, you will be buggered but will get used to it quickly.
SJ yep summy is up between 4.30 and 5.30 nearly every morning and lays next to me babbling makes you so brain dead and not feel like doing anything until mid afternoon (well me anyway :rolleyes:)
Skye i have given up on the blankets on the floor, a few times i have found summy all wrapped up in it hehe funny girl. Hope Anth is back at work crack that whip :cryinglaugh: Do your girls have polly pocket stuff? Mine have so many tiny little toys doll shoes and crap have to be so careful checking the floor cos summy just finds every little thing and is so fast now that she can get to it in a second.

yeah, we hardly slept last night, as soon we put him back in his bassinet he'd cry again. so in the end, we did what we didnt want to do.. we took him into bed, and he managed to settle down. we were just too tired. he did the same at 6ish. i put him in bed cos i just couldnt cope getting out of bed over and over again.

i got back fr the osteo just now and he said one of my disc is drying out because the others are compensating that, i asked if all this could cause bf problems and even PND. he said yes. I guess a bad back is a contributing factor.
hehe, im in tracks all day and wear jeans when i go out. we can wear jeans to work so hehe not much will change. but nice to wear a nice top and some makeup..

Hi girls.
First day at work was great and I had two coffee's uninterrupted and ate my lunch which was still warm. Didn't have to worry about feeds or nappy changes, but I did miss him heaps. I have two photos up on my desk so I can see him while I am at work :) He was soooo good for my mum but I think he is starting to sense when he isn't in his own environment or when I am not with him. Mum took him for a walk in the pram and he looked shocked and looked around for me kehehehe so cute :) he expected to see me :)
SJ - I have had a few mornings like that and it wrecks you.... How did you survive your day? It is hard once they are in a good routine and then they break it....
Prama - how is Poopy feeling? how did you go at GP? Poor bubba I hate seeing DJ sick :(
Trina - oh that is sooo cute of little Summer.

Trina - WOW!! She is growing uo too fast! When Bri started crawling it was hands & feet! So she had her bum right up in the air when she used to rock!
I think Jaz has some polly pocket stuff, but those things usually fall to the bottom of the toy box & stay there. Its more beads & stuff lately. I just either vacuum them up or sweep them & they slowly disappear.
He's getting around so much more just in the last 24 hours. & getting more & more determined to get what he wants.
Shell - My Dads fine. He was up & walking around by the time we got there at about 11.30. I dunno. He might have probs, but it really doesn't worry me too much. He hasn't treated us very well over the years.
More Anthony than me. He actually threatened to kill him 5 years ago. We split up for a few weeks & he did it just after we got back together.
Some times they are really good mates, other times (more when Dad's showing off in front of mates) Dad rules the world & Anth can't do a thing right. He uses him as his run around/slave. Most of the time Anth lets him do it, but he does say something lately.
He treats us kids like we are here for him. Rings us up out of the blue to drive hours to pick him up from somewhere. & it usually ends up being me, coz everyone else is at work. So off I go with the 3 kids for a great day in the car.
I'm over it.

Anth's back at work today. Work is starting to pick up again now. Winter is usually pretty quiet, but as long as the rain stays away during the week things are looking good.
Prama - I hope poor Poopy feels better soon. When Jesse had a sore throat I just made sure I fed heaps & gave him drinks of water too.
I hope you feel better soon too. Your back sounds painful.

Jesse is sitting alot better now too. He looses his balance pretty easily when distracted though. But he was sitting & eating happily on SIL's table for a good half hour. I had my hand behind him paranoid he'd fall, but he didn't.
I was really p*ssed with Anth (again). The twit had Jesse on the floor in front of him, then went in to the bathroom. He left a pair of scissors (he reckons they fell) on the floor. I was cooking tea & went to check on Jesse & found him playing with them! They were open.
I stormed into the bathroom & threw them at Anth telling him to effing grow up. I was so p*ssed.
Just so you know these things don't normally happen. I'm pretty sure they did fall, but they shouldn't really have been left down anyway.
Anyway. I've had my winge. I even winged about Dad. That's something I try to pretend doesn't exist to stop myself getting worked up & stressed. Oh well.

Jazz was really good in the morning at daycare today but then she got very unsettled and refused to have much to eat/drink, I think it's coz her gums are hurting. She was much better after I gave her some panadol & teething gel.
shell - glad you had a good day at work! and nice you're having a break tomorrow to have a rest, well rest from work at least. so sweet that dj is looking for you.
poopy;s getting cheeky, as soon as i leave the room he cries. this afternoon he was asleep in his bassinet and i went to check on him. he woke up after 5 minutes, i was sneaking in and he was looking around and playing by himself, and as soon as he saw me, he started crying.. aaarrgggh.
it will be nice to have a webcam at work so you can see what he's doing at home!

Prama - Polly Pocket is a little doll set. The doll herself is about 2cm tall. Then she has her own little house sometimes with furniture & it all comes in a little case big enough to fit into your pocket!
Hope your PND starts to come good soon. I've been there with both the girls & I feel like I'm going down that track again, but trying hard to avoid it!

thanks skye - i rang tresillian, and she think he's crying in his sleep cos he's too tired. she asked me if he's having long naps during the day and i said no, the most 30mins. she said he needs to have at least an hr. if he wakes up after a short while, put him back to sleep.
anyway, she told if my pnd gets the better of me, the MCN can book me into the family care centre.. i think i might need that...
steve came back from a brissy fr a day trip and he bought a pair of opal earrings cos i was feeling down.. xoxooxo

Jesse went through a stage of sleeping 20 - 30 minutes at the most.
I stopped wrapping & had him sleeping in the lounge room. I started wrapping again & put him in the bedroom for day sleeps & he started sleeping heaps better.
He will still have 30 minute sleeps, but they are usually around 1 - 2 hours now.
You said he has a sore throat? Does he still have it? If he's feeling a bit off he won't sleep very well. Or has it been the same for a while now.
Hopefully its just that he's a bit off from the cold, or from teeth moving & he will come good in a few days.
I hope so anyway. Good luck.

i usually have him sleeping in the loungeroom during the day but have also put him in his bassinet but the same.
yest i put him in his bassinet and he woke up after 10mins. then put him in our bed and slept next to him and he slept for an hour!
last night he was restless, so we put him in our bed and he slept straightaway...
i really dont want to make it a habit of him sleeping in our bed....
Summer isn't sleeping well either at the moment geez i hope it's a stage cos its tiring..... Might have the day off work today just got too much happening and am sooooo tired. She won't stay still in her cot when i put her down for a sleep, if i wrap her she gets all tangled if i don't wrap her she crawls around in there or rolls over, I have done everything but lay with her so might give that a go, just scared that when she wakes she will crawl off the bed cos she isn't still for a second now. I think i might have to get a play pen cos she is getting into everything. I want her to be my little baby that stays where you put her :(
I went to the sleep clinic with Paige it was great but of course she was well behaved there and slept like an angel hehe.

I can't concentrate at work at the moment. Matt is looking after Jazz all day today coz the FDC lady is interstate visiting her sick sister. I rang before and they are doing well, he was about to give her some solids. I'm a bit nervous coz this is the longest he's had her. He's taking her to the doctor this afternoon for her 6 month injections. I hope she's not too grumpy for him.
I went to the gym for the first time today since we started TTC about 2 years ago. Felt great to get back onto the treadmill. I didn't do too much coz I don't have a program yet, doing that at lunch time tomorrow.

Happy birthday SJ :) Hope you have had a wonderful 30th today. and also happy half year to MJ :) it goes by so quickly....
Second day back at work today and got so much work done, two coffee's ahhhh was soo good. DJ was so well behaved and has been smiling and laughing all day. So full of beans. My stepmum said she left him for 30 seconds and came back into the room and he had wiggled his way to the other side of the room haha not rolling, just wiggling. He is full of beans. He is on his playmat now going nuts with his toys haha
DJ didn't have a good sleep last night either, he woke at 12am, then 3:45am and then again at 7am. I didn't mind the 3:45 and 7am but it was the 12am which was a rude shock to the system.... haha I am thinking the teethings is starting to really bother him..... No sign of teeth mind you, but he is definitely teething.
Prama - how sweet of Steve to get you some opal earrings :) hope Poopy feels better soon sweets.

Well its my 30th birthday today and it has been fantastic :)
The last 4 have been really average and DH really hasnt made an effort at all.
Today i got a lamp this morning and nothing else, he could see i was sad so he said i wasnt going to give you this til tonight, but i knew you would be upset... so here.
It was a beautiful gold chain (a thickish one, but still pretty) and a locket... would have cost a lot, he doesnt buy cheap jewellery and it is really beautiful, i told him i was worried that MJ would grab it, but he said thats why he got the better chain, its really strong for that reason.
Anyway he said, now you can only have 2 babies, as there is only room for two pics - not so i said, one side is for him and the other side is for my childREN :P
Mum arrived soon after he left so that i could go to the factory... i started to work and he asked me to come with him to a site inspection ... grumble grumble i though... but now, he had booked a table for lunch for yum cha - We have been trying to go for Yum Cha for over a year and something has always happend so it was pretty spech... Then i went home and did not much work at all
Anyway - got a little squirt from Mum and dad and a couple of tops.
A massive bunch of flowers from Nina (she tells me that my pressie comes tomorrow)
And flowers arrived from my best friend in England :)
I have bene so spoilt, its been such a great birthday - going to Ninas for dinner so that i dont have to cook too :)
MJ can sit for about 15 mins all on her own now... she is trying to crawl but hasnt got the idea of rocking yet so still a while off (hopefully)

ps I have a chain with a locket i have worn since I was 16 and its managed to stay in tact with 20 years of kids at work and with Will. It holds pictures too and I Love that its close to my heart..its such a special gift

Matt & Jazz were great yesterday. But when I got home I was holding her and she kept looking at him and giving the hugest smiles, it was almost as if they were sharing a secret together. I'm waiting for Matt to say it's time to drop one or 2 days at the childcare centre. I hope he does soon coz they are heaps expensive. We already owe them 3 fortnights worth of fees at $84 a fortnight! (compaired to $8-$10 at FDC per fortnight)
Poor girl was upset last night from her injections. I had a look at what they give at 6 months, one of them it tetnus, no wonder she was upset, her legs must be really hurting. Matt gave her panadol as soon as they got home from the doctor which was good except that we couldn't give her any at bed time coz it was too close to when she had the earlier. She slept well though.
Just rang to book Jesse in for his needles, but no answer.
Hopefully they'll ring back today, coz I'll forget. My brain is not working at all.
I've been down to the shop 3 times this morning coz I keep forgetting stuff & I said no to cash out on eftpos the first time. If I had've just got $50 out then, I wouldn't have had to use it twice more!
So after thinking I'd go to the atm & get money out saving myself fees I actually charged myself more!!

Well it is the end of my working week, I am loving working 3 days per week, it is exhausting but I think I will get into a routine and it won't be so bad. Danni - poor Jazz on her injections. I hate immunisation time it breaks my heart.... I have to get DJ done next week..... Trying to see if I can get it done on Friday afteroon next week so I can deal any problems from it over the weekend.

immunisation - ryde council here has a centre, where you can get immunised every fortnight, moning and evening. you dont hv to live in the council to go there. they keep bub's record and send a letter whenever immunisation is due.

Jazz was very sleepy today. She slept most of the day at day care. I did tell them she had her injections yesterday so they kind of expected her to not be herself. I'm gonna be sore tomorrow I think. I had a good workout at the gym duing my lunch break today. I had one of the trainers do a program for me. But I am looking forward to going on Monday morning before work...I love having a gym less than 1 minute walk from my desk at work!
