Was just reading about bubs hanging around toilets in some of your posts. We always keep our bathroom and toilet doors closed so we wont have to worry about that. We're going to get a child gate and divide the house in half so that Jazz can only be in the section we are in at the time (which will mostly be the lounge at the front of the house.

    Hey girls,

Well I am counting down the hours at work coz we are going to the Hunter Valley tonight for the Jazz in the Vines tomorrow - soooo can't wait Supposed to be nice weather too YAY So picking up DJ at 4:30 and heading home to pack the car up. I will schedule our departure so that DJ can sleep in the car

RE: bubs sleeping through night - it is soooo reassuring to read that I am not the only one suffering, it is really doing my head in..... I just need him to sleep through. Downloaded a cheap routine from Baby Sleep & Colic Resource -Save Our Sleep -Tizzie Hall's Official Website - not the full ones, just an abbreviated one, so I might give that a go. Very similar to his routine anyway, but I need to get back into the habbit of bathing him every night. When he was sick I was just giving him top and toe wash coz I was too afraid of him getting a chill.

Sounds like we are all having sleepless nights eeeeeek

Prama - so good to hear you arrived safely and you are having a chance to get a break hope you can get some good sleep while you are away

SJ - sorry to hear MJ wasn't well, hope she is better

Skye - wow on the lost tooth from Jaz!!!

Danni - hope you have a better night.

Trina - Dj has been the same, at least 2 feeds during night, and I am so exhausted from it. I have been reading at this age, they shouldn't be waking for night feeds anymore so I am going to try and wean him off it and feed him more during the day... ANyway worth a try....I will try anything to get him back to sleeping through the night.

OK girls, better get back to work so I can get out of here on time.

    Shell xxxx

Lol, unfortunately we don't have that choice. With older kids there's no guarantee the door would be kept shut & with a 3 year old it's impossible coz she can't open the door & would wet her pants alot more than she does now!
Going to have to invest in a proper gate thingy though coz the entrance to my mum & dad's house is about 20 stairs. Inside the front door.
So something will have to be done to keep Jesse away! It's going to be fun!!

    Morning,

Jaz, congratulations on your first tooth!!! how exciting, did the tooth fairy pay a visit? DSS lost his first tooth when he was with us, DH was so happy that he got to share that with him It seems so little, but really it is a huge thing.

Re the toddler and baby gates, i am not really keen on them, i am around MJ (and dont have other kiddies to run after) so will try and teach her where to go. It will be hard, but i am a believer that if you make something off limits and then they get through, they are more likely to get into thinkgs that they are not meant to... Other than steps where they can fall and hurt themselves (although ask me when MJ is walking i may change m mind )
SKYE - we had about 14 steps in our place in England, Mum had a gate at the top and Mid way down and my sister managed to scale them ebery night!!! use to freak them out I dont know what they ended up doing, i will have to ask.

Shell thanks for the post, soe of it was intertesting, others just isnt for me...
In particular, i think that the dreamfeed is a fantastic idea... i thought it was when they woke semi asleep and need a feed, but reading that you actually go in and feed them when they are asleep to prevent them waking... it might be worth a try. Might ask the question in a new thread...

Have a great weekend girls and stay cool, it looks like we are all in for a hot one today - especially you Danni...

It's warm and windy here and a bit overcast. Kind of perfect actually for doing washing!

Jazz went to sleep late again (11pm) but then slept until 7:30 this morning which I was happy about coz it's the weekend so I'm on night time baby duty!

I went to a friends house last night for a painting lesson. I've put a photo of my first painting in my gallery.

Went to the fruit & veg shop today to get heaps of stuff for juicing with my juicer I got a couple of weeks ago, it was so busy there. I also got some paint brushes to start my collection of painting gear.

Going to Ikea soon and then to a friends for dinner.

Yep Danni keeping the door closed would work if only one bub but impossible in my house too. Even if i tell the girls constantly to close the door one always forgets to latch properly.

Skye how cute Jazz losing a tooth they look so cute hey and sound hilarious when they talk.

Yeah its a bugger on the sleep thing Shell, im kinda used to it unfortunately so am coping ok most of the time it does catch up at times you are lucky to have someone to share the load with. Mum is going in under 2 weeks, so not sure how im going to be able to work i really need the cash even though its only a tiny bit im sure i'll work it out though.

SJ i know you did a course but don't know what it was DOH!!! sorry that's bad hey?? how is miss MJ?

Summer's 3rd tooth is right through now and it looks soooooo funny her other "vampire" tooth is going to be next i think so she will have full fangs then hehe she is being a PITA at booby time pulling off and she does this thing where she pushes my boob away with both hands and pulls back with nipple in mouth OUCH!! i swear my nipples are going to touch my belly button by the time she's finished with them lol. And of course my weight loss has left them looking a little deflated..... Paige said they looked all hangey this morning gotta love that....

So off for a riding lesson this afternoon, my darling horse and i have been having a slight battle lately, so hopefully we'll get back on track now......

So have a good one ladies xoxox

Jazz is really difficult to get to bed now and has been for over a week. I hate teething. Tonight I just stuck her in the car at about 9pm coz I was sick of her fighting sleep. We went for a drive just to calm her down. About 7 mins into the drive she was out like a light but I drove for a little longer just to be sure.

    Hey girls,

Jazz in the Vines was fantastic and DJ had a great time and managed to sleep for a few hours while we were there, which was great. Doni and I both took him up for a dance. I was too worried about him getting burnt so kept putting suncream on DJ that I forgot about me.... Very burnt on my shoulders and chest, not too bad though, but just a lesson there to everyone to also rememmber to put suncream on yourself as well as your babies kehehee

DJ is crawling!!!! Well going backwards and sideways, moves a ltitle forward but not too much. So now I am going out this weekend to baby proof the house!!! So much better now, and won't be long before he is fully crawling. He has been so cheeky this morning and lively it is sooooo sweet especially on my day off I pulled out his Fisher Price Laugh n Learn table and he loves it!!! He is pulling himself up on it as well, but falls down a few times.... keheheeI got that as a present from work when I left for maternity leave. Today I am doing a big clean-up so much washing to fold but also going to pack up some of his toys and take them over to mums so she has a good selection for when he comes over

SJ - yeah good idea might do that..... I just want his routine sorted and back to sleeping thorugh the night, my mum is looking after him for an entire weekend in November (can't wait!!!) we are dropping him off on Friday night and picking him up on Monday. Doni and I are going to Melb for the weekend. Just want DJ sleeping through the night again so it is easier for her.

Trina - you are superwoman in my eyes!!! You have to take care of those girls without any support and I just think you are an amazing mum Hope it comes through for you, extra cash always helps that is for sure. Looking forward to that payment from the government in December.

Danni - sorry to hear Jazz isn't doing so well with her teething. How is she going today? DJ has been teething on and off for a while now but no sign of teeth. Mum said to me last night that it doesn't look like it will be long now, but I will believe it when I see the first tooth come through. I don't even look anymore, just wait for a surprise kehehehe

Well girls, I better get stuck into folding and sorting washing.

Jazz sat by herself yesterday for about 20 mins! She cried when she fell over and I'm still not confident enough to let her sit up unsupported if I'm not in the room. But it was great. I didn't even sit behind her, I went and layed down on the couch.

    Hi guys!

    Guess what......JESSE'S GOT A TOOTH!!!!!!!!!
He cut his first tooth Sunday night. It was a bad night, but he had none of the teething symptoms, so I didn't give the poor kid panadol or anything.

Been a bit quiet lately. Sorry. I went & saw Anths parents on Friday night & stopped in to see my best mate on the way home. I've known her since I was about 2 & hadn't seen her for nearly 12 months.
So anyway I kidnapped her & she came home with me.
So, yeah, I'm a bit busy with hair dyes, nail polish, fake tan. That sort of stuff, lol!

    Hope you are all good.

Thanks Shell, sorry i didn't mean to sound like a bi#@h but you guys that have helpful supportive husbands are very very lucky, sure they may not be perfect but you know what i mean.

Another tooth on the way again here, i wish she would just slow down a little.

Yesterday i had all 3 home from school, Codie with CF complications quite sick almost off to the hossy, Paige with a swollen foot from a bee sting and Tahnie had a really sore neck so saw the chiro..... hmmmm so was a busy day.

    back soon

Trina, i cant believe another tooth already... i wish MJ would cut her first, for no other reason than they are really hurting her as they move around... PMSL on Paige's comment on your bb's!!! Kids really have a way of saying things. Hope the girls are feeling better soon... Codie must be a worry at times poor thing

The course that i did (thanks for asking ) was craniosacral therapy... the best way to describe it is its the really light work that Osteos do... very low pressure/manipulation to 'encourage' the body to realign itself - not force it or hurt it into doing what we want it to do. Have got some excellent re****s already, just need some guinea pigs (pity you guys are so far away)

Skye, sounds like you have had a reat time with your GF, really happy for you, things are certainly improving for you

MJ is moving forward also, not totally crawling, but will be there soon, she is all over the place and cant be left alone anymore (well until i figure out all the things tht she can get to and move them/make it safer!!!)

Prama - how are things? bet you are having a ball

Sorry gotta go, try and bbl

Do I dare say in case I jinks it...

Jazz fell asleep at 7pm on my lap and I put her in the cot. She's whimmpered once since and I went in to check on her, she was on her tummy, put her head up and looked at me then flopped back down and went back to sleep. It's been an hour! Fingers crossed!

Sad thing is that this trainign was on Sat so most of the girls I work with wont go int heir own time...really slack I think it was free it was catered it was amazing to network and be inspired they really missed out.

She woke up at 8:30pm so I had her sitting quietly with me while I watched packed to the rafters. Then at 9:30 I gave her to Matt, got stuff organised for today and went to bed. No idea what time either of them got to bed. She woke up at 5:30 this morning so I had to get up early, but at least I made it to yoga class.
