Skye, Summer is the same at the mo all wriggley and whingy and cranky has been for at least 1 week she is pooing heaps too has to be those teeth..... She is cutting on the cross up the top which is where the "fang" teeth come through before the front ones, i can see all four of them up top but the side ones are just under her gums and about to pop through. Yay on the move apart from all the crappy work to get there hehe. Paige is 7 and has lost 5 teeth. Both Codie and Paige lost their first teeth in kindy so around 5-6.
I only read a page back so sorry if i missed anything important lol.... hope all your bubbas are behaving at night. Summer isn't esp with these new teeth coming. Plus Paige was up from about 4am throwing up every 30 mins now i have 3 kids asleep...... so quiet love it. i should be getting stuff done but instead sitting on my butt hehe oh well.
Don't think i have any news.... My gym has been building a whole new section so it opened on Wed and it is HUGE two stories the ladies change rooms have ghd hair straighteners for you to use its awesome ill have to start having a shower and doing my hair there haha even though i am only 2 minutes away. I've lost a heap of weight, i fit into all my pre preg clothes, my trainer thinks i am smaller than before i was pg so that's cool.... My gym has a healthy eating plan that i am on and i have lost it all in about 4-5 weeks if anyone wants to see it i can e-mail it. im not being super strict on it anymore but still being kinda good its pretty easy too.
Sorry for waffling on about me hope you are all good
Double post
Your so lucky Trina! I wish all that was 2 minutes from me!
I am quite lucky & haven't put on much weight since the kids. I thnk I just need to get walking again like I used to & I'll be back to normal.
I do feel fat & frumpy, but I guess I'm lucky that I'm not really. Just not what I used to be. You'd think that I'd consider the fact that I've had 3 kids, but I dunno. Every one picks on their own bodies.
Had an interesting night last night. Not a fun one! Bri wet her pants twice, they tipped maple syrup all over the floor in the kitchen making them selves a sandwich. Then my attempts to clean it with a hot wet mop just spread the stickyness, so I had to do it properly, then my darling boy was having nappy free time & pood all over the carpet!!
Thank goodness for domestos coz the yellow wasn't going to come out!!
Jaz got the two teeth either side if her top middle teeth before she got the middle ones. She looked like a little vampire! Lol!
I did a great post which didn't come up..... here we go again.....
I had such a beautiful afternoon. Mum looked after DJ for me so I could attend my friend's daughters christening. Afterwards, we went to the reception and noticed a wedding aisle, flowers etc and my friends got married then and there it was soooo beautiful. Poor Doni missed out but I filmed the ceremony on my mobile phone for him. They always said they would do it when everyone least expected it. My friend Moni said to me when I told her I couldn't bring DJ along to christening, just see if you can get your mum to look after DJ so I can come along, not a great deal if I can't go to service, but as long as I was there for the reception. I thought that was weird since I feel that the christening service was just as important :) so when that happened I clicked..... I was so emotional because they are such great friends. It was just beautiful.
DJ is still unsettled and not well, now scratching at his ear so wondering if he has an ear infection or just from teething..... Will take him to doctors again to get him checked over.
I had such a bad night with him, mum helped out though thank god. He woke at 1am, 4, 4:30,5am, 5:30, 6:00, 6:30.... Mum took over from 6:30 so I could get some sleep. He was really good this morning and happy and laughing but then just got sick in the afternoon. He has been throwing up his milk as well...... The rash has cleared up though, so that is one great thing.
I can't wait until Doni is home on Tuesday :) Only two more sleeps now.
Prama - you must be wrapped since Steve is home tonight :)
Better go girls.
Shell xxx
hi all,
quick one, so buggered..
shell - wow, what afantastic surprise!! so sweet!!!
not long till doni come home now. steve's home, it's so nice... kinda feels like he never left...
dj and poopy must be on cohorts.. he woke up at 11ish for a bit. then wouldnt sleep from 2.30am. as soon as i put him in his cot he'd wake up... so he didnt sleep all night till morning, which means mummy didnt sleep at all.
he's also scratching his ear, i read it doesnt necessarily mean teething, it's also cos they discover their ears... it seems like poopy;s been teething for ages.. i can wait tho..
trina - wow, well done!! you go girl..
skye - syrup, yikes.. icky mess.. oh dear, i have all taht to look fwd to. how's jesse's sunburn?
time for beddy byes. so hot here, 35!!
Thanks Prama re: scratching the ears......I am still taking him to doctors later today to get him checked out only because he has daycare tomorrow and I can't take time off work. I am going to ask the doctor about some elixr he gave him coz I am supposed to give it to him in the morning after a feed (I have waited a bit afterwards) and he always throws it up everywhere...... including all over me...... so I am going to let him know because I don't think I want to give it to him anymore if all he does is throw it up.....
So happy that Steve is now home for you :)
I am very tired today, another bad night with DJ. Decided to put him in his cot tonight. I have had him with me while Doni has been away and since he is sick..... But I am not getting much sleep with him being next to me, so decided he can go to his cot.
1 more sleep until Doni comes home yipeeeeeeee
shell - poor dj.. maybe that's why he's so restless too. poor darling..
another sleepless night.. this time all night. aaarrrgggghhhhhhh.
at least steve and i took turns.. i think teeth might coming thru soon, his gums felt harder when i was bf..
yaaay shell - doni will be home tomorrow.... hurray!
off to the doctors.. ttfn
Jazz went to sleep really easily last night which was great, much better than the night before. She went to sleep at about 3pm for her afternoon nap. I woke her up at 5pm and straight into the bath and then a bottle and a bit of a play. Her and I were playing on my bed while watching TV coz Matt was watching the F1 on the lounge TV. Then at about 8pmish I put her in her cot and she was relaxed and when I went to check on her at 8:30pm she was totally out!
Matt's in the habit of staying up until about 11pm-midnight and then waking Jazz up for a change and a bottle before he comes to bed. That works out well coz then she sleeps until about 6-6:30am most days which is when I get up.
She's starting to move backwards when she's on her tummy, but it's not crawling, more like wriggling to try and reach for something but she gets further and further away from it.
She still loves baths and having water splashed on her face. She still tries to catch the water with her tongue which is so funny. I think I should get some swim nappies and take her to the pool some time soon. I really need to look into swimming lessons.
Took DJ to doctors, all fine :) and I only have to give him ventilator twice a day now or when needed. He said his cough is just mucousy - just the end of cold :) yipeeee I just washed all of his toys - well the ones he puts in his mouth anyway hahha I had to wash his sheets again, he threw up all over the sheets grrrrrr I think it was from milk then panadol. Oh well, much better now, all smiles :)
Hopefully I will have a good night tonight (fingers crossed).
prama - sorry to hear you had a bad night but yeah it is good you have Steve back to take turns.
Shell xx
shell - glad dj is getting better!! yaay!!!!!
1 more sleep and doni's home!!!!!! :D
let's hope poopy sleeps well..
Jazz was being really difficult to get to sleep tonight. I think I've discovered something...she seems to sleep better and get to sleep quicker if she has a bath. I only bath her every second day coz I've been told that bathing babies every day dries out their skin. Maybe I should start introducing daily baths. I always massage her with moisturiser and put baby oil on her head so hopefully she wont get too dry.
Danni I bath WIll every night now I find becasue he gets around so much he gets a lot dirtier. I use the Johnson bed time bath and the lotion and it realy does calm him own. I also find it nice as hubby and I take it turns in bathing him and its a nice time together.
Will gets a massage twice a day with moisture and his skin is great never had excma any sort of rash or nappy rash etc.We bought him a bath chair too which is great as he is much more confident.
We have been going into work to take the kids end of year photos every day for the past week and a half and Will has been spending time with the other kids and in the sand pit etc and absolutley loving it. I could go and come back in the afternoon and he wouldnt notice. I am pleased as I think he will really enjoy care next year.
Teeth issues here too copiuous dribbling and sore gums and unsettled a bit whingey.
Another hot day here today..I hate humidity and any sort of heat so not looing fwd to summer I enjoy nice spring but just not heat.
Hope you girls with sick bubbs and no sleep get a better week take care huh,
Bronxx
Thanks Bron. I will have to start daily baths now I think. I use bedtime bath cream on her. Thing is though that I will have to basically get home from work and go straight to the bathroom to bath her as soon as we walk in the door. Matt doesn't bath her, he's scared he'll drop her, so he makes dinner while I'm bathing her.
Hi all.
I bath Jesse every day usually unless we are out or something is on & we are too busy.
I don't really use anything on him, specially not J&J coz it is sposed to be the worst for drying out their skin & with Bri already having eczema, I don't want to risk it.
The last week or so I have started to use a soap that MIL bought for Bri while the girls were over there. Its 'Natural Selections Moisturising Sorbelene Bar'.
If you are worried about dry skin just sorbelene can be used as a soap as well. Just put it in the bath or whatever.
I'm thinking teeth will be here soon, coz I can sorta see the white line through his gum, but no red cheeks & the diarrhea has stopped. So maybe they have settled for another week or two & will come back to irritate him again.
Prama & Shell - Hope things are heaps better with your hubby's home. (Well almost home Shell!)
Danni - Jazz going backwards is great! Won't take long for her to start going forwards.
Bron - You have warmth? Its supposed to be hotter here & I'm freezing my butt off! Its nice though. There's a really cold wind outside, but I'd say that its just cooled a bit since it rained yesterday & that tomorrow it will be back to sweltering.
Trina, Jo & SJ - Hope you are all well.
Well I just found out that my dad is having surgery on the 4th of November, so he's going to have to come get my stuff earlier than planned. I wasn't planning to go til the 8th. So I think he'll come & get everything on about the 1st. (WOW! That's so close!!)
Then we'll just keep our necessities here while we do the cleaning & stuff. I don't want to leave til the 8th as planned coz its our 2 year wedding anniversary on the 4th. I'd prefer to be here for that, as excited as I am to go.
Sooo, I've got so much more to do now! I better go start really doing stuff. Hopefully Anth will get the stuff he needs out today so I know exactly whats here.
Can't wait til its all done!! I'm so over it already.
poopy has a bath every evening, and we put lots of QV lotion on him.
skye - great to hear that things will get sorted even quicker but sorry to hear your dad has to go for surgery :(
bron - any more news about your meds?
yes, it's freezing here today!! yikes!
shell - doni should be home now? yaaay!!!!
sj - how was your course? mj must have been overjoyed seeing you.:D
yesterday morning i had poopy in bed cos he thot 5.30 was a good time to wake up. he was lying next to me, and decided to suck on my cheek, like he would the boob.. boy, it IS painful, it's a very strong suck!!!
and later i noticed i had a hickey on my cheek. hahahahahah
PMSL! These boys learning how to give hickeys so early!!!
My dad & sister are both having surgery. On the same day as far as I know. Dad tore a heap of ligaments, tendons & broke cartlage in his shouder skate bording with his 10 year old nephew!
My sister is having problems with AF. She's already had a laparoscopy, but it found nothing. I'm kinda glad I'll be there for that this time. I won't be so stressed about her.
skye - eeekkk. sounds painful for your dad.. :( and poor sis :(
