Today at daycare Jazz moved backwards about 1.5-2 metres! It really upsets her though coz she's trying so hard to reach for something that's in front of her but she gets further and further away from it. It's annoying for us too coz she just cries all the time. FDC lady said she thinks Jazz is about to get another tooth coz her poo is heaps different to normal and she's very fussy. I think I'll trust her intuition - she's had 12 years experience looking after other people's kids and has 3 grown kids of her own.

YAY Doni is home, it was sooooo nice to have him home and good to have a little break as well, we had to go to his brothers place for his wife's birthday so was good for Doni to take over for a bit while I was able to just sit and relax a bit. Still had another bad night with him. He is continually waking at 2am for a feed now..... hmmmmm alot of people have been telling me to put him to bed at around 7'ish coz I normally put him down around 9pm.... But if I put him down at 7'ish then he will just wake at 12am or something, when I have just got to sleep..... I suppose it is worth a try.
What time do your bubba's go to bed? How long are they sleeping?
Re: bath - I have been bathing DJ every second night. When he was sick I was doing it less frequently and just giving him a top and toe wipe down - didn't want him to get a chill. He is having a bath tonight and hopefully Doni will do it for me all depends what time he gets back, he is off to Canberra for the day for work, should hopefully be home by 7 though....
Prama - haha on the hickey on your cheek - cheeky little boy ;)
Danni - if that is the case, then DJ should have had teeth a long time ago.... ;) I hope she is right though. DJ is going through the same thing and his poo's are different. Mind you he was sick last week so might be just from that..... He has been doing big explosive poo's - always have to give him a bath afterwards coz he gets it all up his back, and front.....argh
Skye - hope your dad and sister are ok with their surgery. Not much longer to go now for your big move, you must be soooo excited.
Bron - sounds like it is really hot - we have a miserable rainy day in Sydney, which is supposed to fine up on Thursday :) Doni and I are heading to the Hunter on Saturday for Jazz in the Vines, weather is supposed to be good, just going to be prepared for rain though since we will have DJ with us :)

Hey Shell glad doni is home its good to just be able to have some time to yourself
Umm Will goes to bed at 8 - 8.30 and wakes up at 6- 6.30 an donly ever wakes up maybe once or twice a week and just wants his dummy back in. I knwo this wont make you feel any better atm sorry but am sure DJ will get back to sleeping through. They seem to change their routines for a couple of weeks and then back again. I do find that on a coolish night wamrign the bed like sj does with a heat pack helps and I also wrap will and he has slept through this way since he was 12 weeks old and hee also gets a massage with JJ sleep lotion and has done since born. WHo knows mate they are all different I hope you get some better sleep soon.
SO excited I rang centerlink this moring to ask about the gov payment in Dec. SOme of the girls at mg told me that it was paid on percentage of the tax benefit a you get so figured we owuldnt get much. Not the case apparenlty no matter how much or how little you get we get $1000 yay a bit of a helping hand means will be abel to buy hubby a xmas present *L
No meds STILL they had a big meeting with the premier here last week re the clininc I will have the teatment in and he has uaranteed it wont close so thigns may mover forwar dnow.
BTW its bloody freezing here the wind is comign off the snow that fell int he mountains ridiculous weather I have had to put the heaters back on and Will had his tights back on *L*

i think poopy now only wants to sleep in our arms at night. he sleeps well during the day and initially at night. then around 2ish 3, he wakes up and he falls asleep in our arms and wakes up when we put back in his cot.. we tried to let him cry out for a bit but he still doesnt fall asleep. arrrggh
it's so frustrating. will have to try to refuse picking him up.
anyway, i'm off to malaysia for 2.5weeks for diwali (hindu xmas), i havent been back since i moved to oz. hope poopy is good on the flight.
getting ready to go.. talk to you girls tomorrow. :D

I'm so tired today.
Bron there was a thread on here about that $1000 payment. It ended up being closed as it turned into a huge 'discussion' about how much people make & how unfair it is that some get it & some don't.
If you get any amout of FTB part A you will get $1000 for each child after the 8th of December.
I'm undecided about what to do with mine. I'm keeping it from Anth. I don't want him knowing anyhing about it coz I am not buying him a motor bike & I'm not having him blow the lot.
I'm planning on going to Perth to visit my brother & SIL & the rest I'm planning on putting away.
Its cold here again too. That wind! Its freezing! I hope Jaz is OK. It was out of uniform day today & she only wore shorts & a singlet top. I tried to get a jumper on her, but she has her own ideas.
The little bugger disappeared yesterday. Got off the bus 2 blocks away from home at a friends house!! The stupid bus driver let her!
I went down to the bus stop to wait & when the kids got off one said 'she went with Lydia'.
I didn't know what to do! I looked at the bus driver & he told me the kids name & I just couldn't believe it!!
'& who's that?' I said.
He looked at me like I was dumb & said 'don't you even know who they are'.
You stupid man!! A six year old says I'm going to so & so's house & you just let her. No permission from me!
Then when I rang to say something to the owner of the bus company, I find out that there was a mother in there only the day before about the same thing!
Then they say to me that 'it has to come back on Jaz too'.
WTF!!! Jazmyne is an extemely nieve 6 year old child who doesn't know the town or the people she was going home to! She doesn't understand just how easy it is for something bad to happen to her. Then I find out this morning that there is a man living on that block that they have been trying to run out of town coz he has assulted kids!!!
I assured him that Jaz was grounded, she's not allowed outside to play for a week & told him that she wouldn't be on the bus again.
I'm so glad that next doors DS was on the bus (he's not on often) & that he knew where she got off & that his aunt just happened to be picking him up, so they had a car & went & got her for me straight away.
Anyway. Sorry, vent over.
Jesse the little bugger is going way too far too fast now! He found he front door this morning. & a couple of 10c pieces. He was going into the kitchen last night, but doesn't like touching the lino. It was funny. He's never tried crossing that line before. When he did & realised he was on the lino he lifted up so he was on his hands & feet & cried til I put him back on the carpet!

Prama - oh wow that will be such a good break for you especially to see your family again. The good thing about family is they just want to help out and hold baby so you can just sit back and relax a little :) Enjoy your break, you need it :) Is Steve going as well, or just you and Poopy? Hopefully the trip away might help with his sleeping :)
Bron - yeah it is frustrating, I miss the days of him sleeping through the night.... He went off his soids when he was sick and everytime I try to give him some solids he just closes his mouth because I think he thinks I am giving him medicine.... he is right after a few spoonfuls though (sometimes). Because he went off solids, he is back down to solid meals a day. I think that is also why he is waking up through the night.... I have tired to give him solids a few times and he just wouldn't take it. Might get Doni to try for me and see if he has better luck :)
DJ is definitely much happier now, not sick anymore, just a little cough I do think Doni being back has helped him be more happier :)
Better go, DJ about to wake up and I need to try him on some rice porridge :) hopefully he will eat it :)

Summy has cut another tooth she got one of her "vampire" teeth hehe same as Tahnie she is a lil happier but has a bit of a snotty nose from this change in weather.
found her up to her elbows in toilet today nice...... she is going 100 miles an hour all the time no wonder i am tired lol.

Crawling - something to look forward to kehehee sounds like a full time job in itself chasing them around the house.... DJ is getting up and moving himself around, not crawling just moving around with his hands etc. He really lifts himself up alot more now and tries to crawl.....
I worked out this morning that DJ hasn't slept through the night since I have been back at work.. Do you think he is punishing me? *LOL* I think I will take him to the community nurse on Monday afternoon and have a chat because he is waking at 1am then 4am hungry!!!! drives me nuts and he won't eat his solids....I think that is why he is up at those times hungry!!

Jazz learnt something new yesterday. I was going up to her to give her a kiss and she yelled "Argh" and pretended to be scared. Then I did it again, this time there was a slight delay and then she went "Argh" then I did it again, she looked and laughed and then went "Argh" and it became a game.
I think she's also trying to wave.

Last night he was in the shower with Anth & said Dad!!
Its so cute! He's doing the 'd' sound all the time, but its usually de de de. But then out of the blue he said dad.

Shell Summer hasn't slept through the night for nearly 5 months. She wakes EVERY night at least twice.She eats so much food during the day but still wakes up for a feed or two.
So over this cold weather how crazy is it??

Yeah, Jesse hasn't slept through since he was 10 weeks. Every few weeks now he will only wake once, but its usually at least twice a night.

Hi all. I had a terrible sleep last night. Jazz just wouldn't got to sleep so at 10:15pm I handed her to Matt and told him I had to go to bed so I could get up for work. She was still screaming at 11:45pm so I got up to help. She'd had nurofen about 2 hours earlier, so I gave her panadol and a cuddle then she went to sleep. She screamed in her sleep at 4am which woke me up, then at 6 the cat was playing so I got up to let him out, then at 6:30 Jazz was making noise again so i put the dummy in her mouth and then got up just after 7am!

The course was absolutely fantastic and i learnt so much - just need people to practice on now!!!
MJ hasnt been sleeping through since about 6.5mths, it has been worse this last week as she has a irus, Monday she spiked a temp of 38C and it stayed anywhere from 37.5-38.9 for the next 24hrs... poor little bubba. Her temp is better now, but she is still clingy and whingy and not sleeping well at all.
She has taken to wanting to sleep on me, like on top of my if i am lying donw, or my arm has to be under her... i am sooo tired, there has not been much seep in this house at all. She is awake every 45-60mins :( i hope this passes soon.
Her teeth are moving around too, not sure if they are ready to come up yet, but moving in there and making her uncomfortable, lots of chin and ear rubbing.
Skye - you must be so excited about the move. Did you hear anything back about the bus driver? i would be ropeable
Crawling - she is sooo narly there, i think that this week being unwell has put her back a bit, as she has not wanted to be on the floor, but she is up and moving a bit... more bunny hopping and then collasping again! its funny to watch.
Bath - i bath MJ every night, either in the Tummy tub or now she is having occasional baths in the big bath alone... she loves it, the other night she was in there an hour!!! on her tummy mostly and movig around in it... i put QV in the bath and then she is lathered in sorbablene cream to help prevent ezcema (DSS and my sister suffered with it and she has slight signs behind the creases of her knees)
Trina - the toilet ohhh yuck! im not looking forward to that!!! how are things going at your place?
I would love a copy of the eating plan... its creeping back on, i thinki am eating more as i am sleep depried and my body thinks that it needs to eat for energy...

Jazmyne lost her first tooth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She lost it in her sleep last night & found it on the other side of the room!
I think it must've come out & coz she was asleep she just felt something in her mouth & spat it out. Lol!
I think my dad will be coming down on Monday now to take some stuff. So hopefully the kids beds, swings, trampoline, washing machine & a few other things will go. I'm getting nervy about getting everything done.
I'm going to see how much the carpet cleaner is today. Then again I'm probably better off waiting another week in case the darling children spill something on it.
I've got sooooo much to do in so little time now!
Anth is keeping some of the stuff here like the fridge & lounges & our bed :( I love my bed!
Coz we will be with mum & dad we will have all that stuff & I'll be ble to save my money to get more when we get our own place.

we are doing well, so nice to be back w family and poopy getting lots of attention and me a break. he was all right on the flight, just super wriggly the first 4 hrs, my arms were so tired. and he slept the next 4...
sorry to hear the lackof sleep all round. im so exhausted as well.
poopy still commando crawling and rocking on all 4s. mum said she thinks he's going to try to sit as well.. eeekk.
and still NO teeth.
