Bron - that's fantastic news!!! HOORRAYYYYYYY. I'm happy to hear it!!! YAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY

Thanks girls, we are doing well. looks like poopy's doing things so much quicker when he has so many ppl around him.
in one week, he's gone from kneeling, to lifting himself up and standing now. he's also waving bye-bye.
BUT still no tooth or sleeping thru the night.
I'm having a good time being back and seeing everyone and poopy having so many ppl around him, he's lapping up all the attention. he had a good time playing w my cousin's grandsons too.
but, the same ppl telling me what i should be doing etc.. at least this time im letting it get to me as much.
bbl.. his lunch on the stove..

Hey girls,
Been so busy sorry for no response..... I was flat out yesterday luckily Doni dropped DJ off at daycare and picked him up for me. I had to swap my days around so I could work yesterday for a big event. I was in at 6:50am and didn't get out of here until 6pm. Doni was great he got up through the night when DJ woke up for a feed, so that was so nice of him.
DJ is good, still attempting to crawl forwards.... He moves a few paces and that is about it.... gets frustrated because he can't move too far. He moves alot sideways and backwards though and still does he is pelvic thrusts when on his back kehehee He is back onto eating his solids (finally!!!!) I spoke to one of the carers at daycare and she said when they are on antibiotics they can lose their tastebuds and solids may taste yucky to them etc. So that is something to keep in mind if your babies go off solids after being on antibiotics ;) Oh and he is starting to stand by himself (as long as he has something to hold onto) for at least 30 seconds. We are always behind him to catch him though.
Prama - OMG what a big development milestone for Poopy :) That is so cute he waving bye-bye awwwwww and kneeling and lifting himself up to stand - WOW!!!! Don't let the advice (you don't want to hear) get to you, just listen to what you want to listen to and enjoy the time out with your family doting over him ;)
Bron - that is super super super news!!!! Thanks for your compliments, I am getting back to my pre-pregnancy body, almost there only 4kg to go!!! The vines were great!!! Loved the jazz, need to get some good jazz music on my ipod!!! How is Will going?
SJ - oh awesome that MJ is moving around too. Don't worry about first tooth DJ' hasn't got his yet either grrrrr and pity we are all so far away coz I would be your guinea pig. I need to see my osteopath, my back is all over the place....
Trina - wow on another tooth!!! sorry to hear about your other kids home from school, Are they feeling better?
Skye - sounds like things are going really well for you :) when is the big move again?
Danni - how is Jazz's sitting going?
Well girls, I better get back to work :) Have a great week :)

Woo hoo good day here today Will has two teeth op up over night god love him and my meds are booked to start on Monday the 10th yipeeeee
-
Things sound real good for you Bron!
Well...Mum & dad are coming down Wednesday & they are taking the girls back with the trailor load, then I'll stay til Friday or Saturday & do the cleaning then head off.
So by the 10th I'll be on the beach!
-
shell - yaay that DJ is eating his solids again!! has his rash gone away?
he sounds so cute trying to crawl. poopy still commando-ing, doesnt seem to be interested in going on all fours. he's a lazy bugger i think, he commandos and moves 1 leg and drags the other.
So glad dj enjoyed his jazz concert, it must be stimulating for him! how's your sunburn?
yup, i have 4 kilos to go too, that doesnt seem to want to go away!
it's getting a bit scary that's pulling himself on the furniture and his cot. my parents have old style rattan furniture and it's light and low. easy for him to pull himself up but cos it's light it moves at the same time and they have tiled floor... plus the lounge/dining area is huge so he's everywhere, and the other day he was trying to get to the stairs. cant leave him alone for a sec now. and im scared he
s going to fall over his cot, he pulled himself up when he was half awake. it's sort of a cot/portacot so we have to make it really low now.
He's going too fast for me, im SO not ready for him to walk for a few more months yet.
Bron - what a double bonus, or triple with your meds and Will's double tooth emergence!!
skye - not long at all now!!! YAAYY!!
hope to see you at the chrissy nsw catch up..
shell - some of the BB girls are planning to meet up at chrissy

oh shell -thanks, yeah sometimes everyone seems to think they know your child better than you.. ppbbbtttt
better to check on the sleeping cheeky monkey. he's really wearing me out now.
im so exhausted.

Hi all.
I just posted a vid on my face book page of Jesse crawling. Well we've started calling it the caterpiller - its not really crawlng, but not exactly commando crawling either.
Just a warning - Jesse himself is going commando in the vid, you get a full view of his bare backside!!
-
Skye, that's so cute. I think it looks like a frog type thing actually.
Jazz is still not doing what I would call crawling backwards or forwards. She squirms a lot and ends up in strange positions but there is in my opinion no actual deliberate "I'm gonna move to another place" thought.
-
Lol! I reckon he looks like a frog too. My mate was the one who started referring to him as the caterpiller & it just kinda stuck.
-
Tonight Jazz said something that sounded a heck of a lot like dada. It was slightly more of a dawadawadawa but that's close enough I think to say that was the first time she said dada...and she was saying it more when Matt was in the room.
-
Well MJ is crawling for real now!!!
i actually got quite excited, but sad at the same time, my baby is not really a baby anymore
This weekend is going to be spent baby proofing!!!
Prama, sometimes babies dont get past the commndo crawl as there is no need, they are mobile, can get to where they want to and from there just go onto standing and walking (watch out ;)) soounds a bit of a worry with all the pulling up on light furniture, at least there are a few more eyes watchin him there thou.
Long weekend here, we were meant to go away, but DH has to work :( :( :( i just selfishly want some time out with him and MJ... oh well.
at least we have 4 morning where he doesnt have to rush to work, although he is there now.
have a good weekend everyone
-
I posted a couple of photos of Jazz that I took last night while she was sitting on her dora couch. She's definately saying dada now!
-
Got my 20 year school reunion tonight..wish me and my liver luck *L*
Hope you are all having a good weekend
Bronxx

Hi all.
Well our fridge, bed, lounges & a few other things are gone. Not much to sort now & we will be left with what we are taking.
I'm excited when I've got 5 minutes to sit around & think about it.
Jesse's started saying Dad too. He's having a go at Nan as well. I wish the little bugger would stop pinching me! The whole time he feeds he pinches my boob & the back of my arm. I try to keep a singlet or something over my side or he pinches that as well.
He's just started pulling himself up on things more.
He's learnt that Taa & Yucky mean to drop or spit out what ever he's got. Makes life a bit easier with all the hidden mess coming out of the wood works!!
Good luck tonight Bron. Have fun.
Cute pics Danni.
Hope you are enjoying yourself Prama. Sounds like Poopy's keeping you busy!
Pitty about the ruined weekend SJ. Don't you hate it when work stuffs up your plans.
Congrats on the crawling!
Jesse attempts it for a step or 2, but goes back to the frog coz its faster!! He goes down steps & all now, cheeky devil!
Hope everything is ok with Codie today Trina.
Hope everythings well with you & DJ, Shell.

Hi All,
Had a busy couple of weeks, just caught up on all of the posts!
Re the Sleeping thing, I have the book save our sleep, a number of friends recommended it to us so we decided to try the theory this weekend as it is a long weekend and we can sleep during the day if the night are rough! So far it hasn't been too bad! Last night she went to bed at 7pm as the plan says (I also followed the feed and sleep routines during the day) and she woke at 7.45pm and we followed the plan for her age and it took 2 hours for her to go back to sleep but she stayed in her cot and just lay there until she was ready to sleep. We had to wake her this morning to stick to the plan but for all of her sleeps today, she fell asleep on schedule except tonight she woke after at 8.20pm but this time it only took 40 minutes for her to go back to sleep and again she just lay quietly in her cot. So I hope I don't mozz it but it seems to be working. We don't do a dream feed as she doesn't need it but on this plan she should sleep for 12 hours overnight and 15 hours in a 24 hour period, it used to be rare to get her to sleep for 12 hours in a 24 hour period!
I am wondering if I haven't been feeding her enough solids because the plan tells you to feed her 2 courses each solids feed which I am now doing and she eats the lot - she always seemed full after 1 - 1.5 courses! Fingers crossed that it goes well for the rest of the weekend. The good thing also is that you don't have to get stuck at home when a sleep is due. Today I went out when her sleep was due and she slept while I was out and transferred out of the car without waking!
Re teeth - Caitlin got her 2 middle bottom teeth a day apart 2 weeks ago. They still are only sticking through about 1mm above the gum but at least they have broken through and she is not miserable anymore. The 2 nights they were coming through were hell!
Bron - hope the reunion goes well and you have a great time. My 20 year reunion is due next year - haven't heard if they are doing anything though.
SJ - Congrats to MJ on crawling. We are not there yet, she is trying hard but hasn't worked out the whole moving the hands thing yet! Goes backwards though she she manages to get to the things she is not supposed to be touching!
Danni - Caitlin says Dadda all of the time and the other day she said Bubba & Hello but she refused to say Mumma! Little ratbag! It is good to hear when they say a new word isn't it.
Prama - Hope the trip is going well - enjoy. I am sure you are making the most of it!
Skye - Hope all is going well with the move and happy anniversary for this week! (in case I don't get back on for a week or so!)
Well that's enough of my essay - have a great weekend all - Jo.
-
Thanks Jo! I almost forgot about our anniversary!!
-
Jazz is having another sleep over at grumpy & gran's next weekend and we are going away! I so cant wait. It's a weekend away with a whole group of photographers from another forum I go to. Should get heaps of great photos! I have not done any creative photography since before Jazz was born so I'm looking foward to getting back to it!
-
Skye Summer is pinching me too geez it hurts, she grabs hand fulls of skin or will scratch a spot on my arm over and over little chickens they are. Nearly ready to go now hey? bet you cant wait to be moved in... Codie is not too bad going to wait until tomorrow and call her specialist and see what he wants me to do.
Bron hope the night was good and you aren't suffering too much
SJ good luck with baby proofing its such fun when they start getting into everything.
Jo hope the sleep gets better not much improvement here, little rascal wakes so many times.
Back later better put a nappy on bare bum
-
I wanna cry. Anth went pigging with our dog last night & she got burnt. Really badly.
They were cyphening petrol & one of the twits lit a smoke. She was tied up above it & it went up.
The next door neighbour got burns on his hands untying her so she could get away.
I feel so horrible. She's so sore. I got no money for vet or anything. I dunno what to do.
