    Afternoon girls,

I called daycare and DJ is doing fine and isn't wheezy anymore and has been really happy. Still having long sleeps because the ventilator makes him tired, but that is good he needs good rest. So, yeah I think I was just sinking into motherhood worrying.... I am still sleeping him with me at night, gives me company while Doni is away anyway. My mum is coming over tonight for a few hours to give him some cuddles. It will be a nice break for me. Luckily I have tomorrow off from work so I can just rest.

Will do personals tonight, leaving work now.

sj - it will be hard being away from mj, but you'll be busy and teh hours will go by quick. and you could ring her at night, and sing to her good night. it will really nice to get some quality sleep. I cant remember the last time i did!! Just think of the big smile and cuddles and kisses that will await you from MJ!!

jo - wow, i had a look at your website, and caitlin is doing so great!!
i have a journal i started for poopy the day i found out i was pg. i havent updated it in a few weeks, i will do that tonight!!

shell - glad dj is sleeping better. hope he sleeps well tonight. poopy woke up again at 4ish but i was already awake waiting for him to be awake.. lol.

Danni - They can't give anything for Bronchiolotis as it is a virus. Caitlin still has a rattle and an occasional cough from when she had it also. This is a link to the info sheet that the hospital gave me - Kids health info for parents
Thanks for the link. I have heard from some that they can't give anything for bronchiolotis but then others say they can. I'm confused.

Matt's gonna take her to the doctor on Friday anyway just for some more advice.

I'm so looking forward to tonight. I'm going out for dinner with old school friends, most of whom I haven't seen for about 8 years.

Well although i dont want to be apart for MJ much, i am really looking forward to a full nighst sleep, she has been waking 2hrly for the past few nights, she fall straight back to sleep if we pick her up, so im not up for ages, but its the waking and not having a long stretch of sleep that takes its toll... Im going to take ear plugs as i cant wear them at home and hopefully sleep straight through.

i need to be up at 6.30am in the morning, and i will have to express over night so i think i will be fairly tired tomorrow... just need to finish getting my stuff organised and then i will be set.
Cant wait for Saturday night when i get to cuddle my baby again, tomorrow morning will be hard saying goodbye

Hope everyone else is doing well
    xoxo

OMG I am in sooooo much pain and I am talking about aunt flow type pain and it hurts sooooo much almost borderline labour pains!!!!!! crikies. I just started taking a new contraceptive pill last night and now this!!!! I wonder if that was from taking it or if I just have a bad spurt of pains..... I had two nurofens this morning and they did nothing so just got two more from one of the girls from work. The only thing that normally fixes it is CHOCOLATE!!!! so if all else fails I will just grab a bar kehehee

Otherwise I am pretty good, getting much better and so is DJ. My cough has subsided heaps now. DJ still has his cough, so hopefully he is 100% by the weekend. Missing Doni though, still another 5 more sleeps to go....... arghhh can't wait to have him home Think I will cook him something extra special on Tuesday night

Prama - how you coping with Steve away? When does he get back?

SJ - enjoy the extra sleep You will be feeling nice and rested by the time you see MJ again How is the course going?

Danni - my doctor just gave DJ a ventilator with mask and spacer for his breathing. He wasn't very bad though with his bronchilitis, only mild. Maybe ask your doctor about that.

Well I better get back to work. Just wanted to take my mind off the pain....

Thanks Prama, the pains finally eased up after lunch, but they were really bad - I even had 4 nurofens and that didn't help at all.
That sucks on your bad night, I understand how you feel. It is really hard when they are away. My mum is staying over on Saturday night I am going to see some friends for a few hours. Just need to get out of the house. I just get so lonely at night and I am sure you would know how I feel. At least you have Steve back on Sunday How was your lunch with Steve's mum?

    We were so amazed!!!

It will be so nice for you to go out on Sat night.. it will be nice to have a laugh and a drink with friends..

What is that saying? When it rains it pours, welllllllll it is pouring here!!!!!!

I took DJ to daycare this morning and he was fine (was unsettled last night - not unusual for him) and then within one hour of being at daycare I got a call that he had a rash all over his body so I picked him up and took him straight to docotrs and he has a viral skin rash!!!!!!! crikies!!!! He said he will be fine within 4 days but to keep checking his temperature but OMG I was shocked..... He is happy and smiling still so that is a relief. Called daycare and she said another baby came in with rash and the mum said it was a heat rash but they are going to call the mum up and tell her that they think her baby was the cause of it etc..... I mean talk about being a responsible parent, that mum obviously isn't....... arghhhhhhhhh I am soooo stressed........ I have aunt flow pain and feel miserable, arghhhhhhhh

sorry just needed to vent....... Doni away until tues next week my mum hoping to come over tongiht though.

hope there arent any more children with the rash.. that mum should have been more careful...
can he have something for the rash, chalomine lotion or something?
i know for heat rash, tapioca flour is really good... but dunno about viral rash..

Yes it is very frustrating but doctor said one thing - at least he is strengthening his immune system for when he is older......I suppose that is one positive

No he said not to put anything topical on it, it will heal itself in the next few days.

I can't wait for Doni to return home on Tuesday!!!!!!

Mum had some work drinks this afternoon, really hopign she will come over tonight. I am so lonely at night get so bored.

Poor DJ. Hope he's better soon Shell.
Don't be too hard on the other mum. Rashes are hard to tell the difference. Bri had a rash on her bum a few weeks ago that I thought was nappy rash.
It took 2 weeks for me to see that the sudocream wasn't getting rid of it completely. I decided to try her cortisone cream for eczema & it was gone in 3 days. Poor bubba has little scars. I'm hoping they will heal better, but sometimes these things are really difficult to pick.
There isn't much that can be done for a viral rash, but if it is viral, it shouldn't be itchy or bother him anyway.

How you going Prama? Keeping busy?

3 weeks to go! I was thinking of a countdown ticker til we move, but theres not enough room!!
Jaz is back at school & got home with 2 loose teeth. I was 7 before I lost my first tooth, so I wan't expecting that just yet!
Oh well, these things have to happen huh!

Jesse is a bit difficult again lately. Hardly slep at all last night. He's got a runny nose, so it'd be hard for him to breath, but he's been off since before then.
He's been riggling as if he's got a bad belly ache. & pooing all the time. Everything else seems fine.
I'm putting it down to his teeth for now. No fever or anything else, so he'll be ok.
    Just need some sleep!

My SIL just texted me from perth. They have been there about a week. Having a great time. I'm glad they are, but I'm still trying to make them feel guilty for leaving me!
I think I might use some of my handout from the gov't to go visit them after christmas. If I can save a heap to make it worth the trip that is.
My cousin over there just had a little boy on Tuesday too, so I might go pay him a visit. They called the bub Ethan. First cousin & person I went to school with to have a bub out of the people in my grade.

Better get going. Jaz'll be home soon.
    Hope everyone else is well!

skye - yaay on the move!! 3 weeks isnt long!!
i cant remember when i lost my first tooth, younger than 7 i think. i remember being 7 and my 2 front teeth wouldnt fall and the new one was starting to come out. so mum took me to the dentist, and i was scared that i ran out of the dentist, down the stairs, and out to the streets.. ahahhahaha
i lost my last milk tooth when i was 16, they had to pull it out!

my cousin's grandson's also called ethan.. he'll be 2 in january.

poopy's excema is never healing, keeps coming and going.. even w the creams.. poor bubby.

shell - i can understand it must have been frustrating... this is the last thing you needed at this time...
i have an early start tomorrow, meditation class. i have to take poopy along as steve's not here. it starts at 6am tomorrow of all days!!!
yes have foxtel... ive started watching crap, was it yesterday that i watched 'make me a supermodel' hahahaha

oh, poopy is getting more cheeky. i was out at the shops and got a choc milkshake, and was giving him his milk.. he didnt want to drink his and kept reaching for my drink.. sigh.

Jazz has had a rash on her neck for ages but it's just because of dribble. She scratches it and it's all dry. We put cream(s) on it. Sometimes sorbaline, sometimes the Johnsons pink lotion. Our FDC lady tried QV cream and it looked better within about 30mins so she gave us some of that and we're using that at the moment.

About to finish work and go to my body balance class.

Sorry Shell. I wasn't trying to have a go at you! I know how hard & frustrating it is, trust me.
As I said, hope he's all better soon.

I can feel the flu coming on. I know why Jesse's been so grumpy now.
