You know this week is the first week I have started to feel a bit of separation anxiety for DJ. Normally I can't wait to get to work for the break. But in the last few weeks I just would prefer to stay at home and snuggle up to him or play games. He is just going through such an adorable stage and all we want to do is hug him and play with him. I haven't stopped thinking about him all morning so much so that I am thinking about his first birthday..... kehehe and when I start thinking I really start thinking. Been trying to think of a good first birthday present for him keheee not too much, just 1 big thing and few little things. We are just going to have family and very close friends over to our place on the Friday night (of his birthday) for cake and coffee and finger food. Don't want to do anything flash for his first birthday since he still doesn't know what is going on yet. I will make more of a bigger deal next year when he knows what it means
Ohhhhh I miss my baby boy *cries*
The last two nights we have been able to put him down between 7-7:30pm and he is sleeping right through. The first night he grizzled at 2am but was fine when I went in there to settle him down and then woke at 5am for bottle and back to sleep until 7:30am, then last night bed at 7:30pm then woke at 7am this morning I was sooo happy He is finally sleeping through and going to bed earlier. Now I just have to wean him off being patted and rocked to sleep because it is frustrating for the carers at daycare. He won't sleep in the cot at daycare, but just falls asleep on the cushions in the play area. When they put him down in the cot he just stands up and won't sleep. So this weekend I am working on that, have to get him out of the habit even if I find it comforrting.
