I have my specialist appointment today. At least it's a lovely day for the walk from my office to the medical centre down the hill.

I got a lovely message from the bride today on facebook
    Hey Danni,
I just got on facebook and looked at your album. I love the photos. it's so nice to be able to see some before I get back.
They are really special. you have done an amazing job. your photos made me cry
    Thankyou
    That really made my day.

Jazz fell asleep before her normal bath time last night and had a couple of instances where she would cry in her sleep (at 8:30pm and 2am) but sticking a bottle in her mouth fixed that.

When she woke up this morning and I went into her, she did her usual pointing and asking "dat" at everything in her room. Then she was crawling around the house calling out "dad" until Matt got up. She's really a daddy's girl at the moment and if we are both standing in a room she will usually crawl straight past me to get to him. I love watching them together, they have such a special bond.

Appointment went well and very quickly. Doc confirmed that it's some mild tearing and has prescribed a couple of creams which should fix it up. He said that the cramping and bloating is not related and I probably also have some IBS as well and suggested I control that by diet.

danni - glad to hear you are doing ok and it's nothing serious..
re bottle in sleep, it's not good for a baby's teeth. but ok if you use a wash cloth to wipe their teeth afterwards.

    thanks so much girls..
poopy's asleep now. we go to the ryde council immunisation clinic. we love cos the nurses are so brilliant. they always give bubs needles just at one go. this time he had 3 nurses, giving him needles 1 in each arm and 1 on the thigh. 3 needles in one go. he cried when the needles went in, then was happy as larry.

im not feeling the best tonight. i guess im so overwhelmed w working full time and rushing home to poopy. im lucky steve gets home earlier and picks him up and starts dinner.. i just feel it's go, go, go all day long..
im going to bed soon.. will talk tomorrow. love you all.xoxox

I try that but she doesn't let us near her mouth with anything. She will only take things in her mouth on her terms.
At the moment too, a bottle in bed is the only thing we can do to get her to sleep if she wakes in the night, especially with work the next day. I know that all I have to do is make the bottle and give it to her, don't even need to get her up, so I can be back in bed usually within 5 mins. I know that must sound selfish but it's what works for us.

Thankfully usually she doesn't wake at night much anymore.

We bought Jazz's birthday present today and we just had to give it to her straight away because she wouldn't let us take it way and cried the whole time we were at the self serve checkout paying for it. It's a giant Iggle Piggle toy. She loves him and when she stands she's only about a centremetre taller than him too. When we gave him back to her after paying, we stood him in the trolley next to the seat and she hugged and kissed him all the way to the car and kept saying "upsy"
