    Lol, Danni thats cute!

With teeth cleaning I let Jesse play with/chew on the tooth brush, then I'll try giving them a quick clean when I can.

Skye same with Will on teeth cleaning he has had his toothbrush since he could hold it and I just put it it in the steriliser. I have tried to put toothpaste on it once but he hated it so at least he is putting it in his mouth.

I was giving Jazz a bath earlier and one of the most annoying things she sometimes does is stands in the bath. I tell her no and to sit down which she understands. Tonight she was way too active in the bath though and was standing a lot, then she slipped and hit her lip on the side of the bath and of course she screamed! I hugged her until she stopped crying and then I saw that half of her top lip is all swollen and I just started crying a little. I hope it doesn't look too bad in the morning. She didn't let me put an ice pack on it. We gave her some nurophen to help with any pain she might have and also there is anti-inflamitory qualities in nurophen which should help with the swelling.
My poor bubba, that's so far the biggest, most obvious bump she's ever had. I know it wont be the last. Every part of the mum in me just wanted to take the fat lip away and have it myself just so she didn't have it.

I read somewhere that they don't recommend it until the child knows how to spit properly.

Don't feel guilty about taking Will to care even though you are at home. You need to rest and I don't see that happening if you have an 11.5 month old wanting attention all the time. You can't tell a kid that young "mummy needs some rest" and expect them to play quietly and not get into things they shouldn't while you are recovering.

Thanx Danni..dam this guilt thing who invented it. YOur right I woudlnt be resting especially seeing Wills latest trick is to take the cusions off the lounge and climb up on them and then onto the lounge. Al becasue he is desperate to get into a ginger jar i have on our lamp table. Little buggar finaly got it the other day and emptied its contents out. ( full of loads of little stuff not for kids) I wish I had a camera he was like a cat that got the cream.
At least I have managed to get a few hours rest.
