Yes, yes they are. Jazz does that too.

We bought Jazz's birthday present today and we just had to give it to her straight away because she wouldn't let us take it way and cried the whole time we were at the self serve checkout paying for it. It's a giant Iggle Piggle toy. She loves him and when she stands she's only about a centremetre taller than him too. When we gave him back to her after paying, we stood him in the trolley next to the seat and she hugged and kissed him all the way to the car and kept saying "upsy"
danni - oohh that's sssooo cute!!!
Lol, Danni thats cute!
With teeth cleaning I let Jesse play with/chew on the tooth brush, then I'll try giving them a quick clean when I can.
Skye same with Will on teeth cleaning he has had his toothbrush since he could hold it and I just put it it in the steriliser. I have tried to put toothpaste on it once but he hated it so at least he is putting it in his mouth.
I was giving Jazz a bath earlier and one of the most annoying things she sometimes does is stands in the bath. I tell her no and to sit down which she understands. Tonight she was way too active in the bath though and was standing a lot, then she slipped and hit her lip on the side of the bath and of course she screamed! I hugged her until she stopped crying and then I saw that half of her top lip is all swollen and I just started crying a little. I hope it doesn't look too bad in the morning. She didn't let me put an ice pack on it. We gave her some nurophen to help with any pain she might have and also there is anti-inflamitory qualities in nurophen which should help with the swelling.
My poor bubba, that's so far the biggest, most obvious bump she's ever had. I know it wont be the last. Every part of the mum in me just wanted to take the fat lip away and have it myself just so she didn't have it.
Double post. Don't know why, I only clicked the button once
Yeah I thought that too then the health nurse said to give him a little taste on the brush every now and then..its just scrape.LIke I said he didnt like it anyway *L*
Felt a bit guilty today as have an horrendous sinus infection and really needed some down time as am off work. Have taken Will to care so can have a few hours in bed got a head liek shrek today black eyes and red cheeks a nice look.
Don't feel guilty about taking Will to care even though you are at home. You need to rest and I don't see that happening if you have an 11.5 month old wanting attention all the time. You can't tell a kid that young "mummy needs some rest" and expect them to play quietly and not get into things they shouldn't while you are recovering.
Thanx Danni..dam this guilt thing who invented it. YOur right I woudlnt be resting especially seeing Wills latest trick is to take the cusions off the lounge and climb up on them and then onto the lounge. Al becasue he is desperate to get into a ginger jar i have on our lamp table. Little buggar finaly got it the other day and emptied its contents out. ( full of loads of little stuff not for kids) I wish I had a camera he was like a cat that got the cream.
At least I have managed to get a few hours rest.
Lol, Jesse gets up & down off our lounge now :)
He thinks he's so clever!
While Jazz was at my parent's house on Valentine's weekend she was learning how to get on an off a little kid seat they have (it was my dad's seat when he was a kid, then me & my sister used it until we were about 7, now it's sitting right between mum & dad's chairs at their house for the grandkids.
She learnt to get on, turn around and sit on her bottom, then slide forward to get off (after apparently trying to get off head and hands first a few times). Now she slides off the couch at home nicely and deliberately, she'll go from sitting, turn around and push herself off feet first while she's facing the couch and can hold onto it for support. Matt's seen her climb up the couch (while he was laying on it), but I haven't seen her do that.
I might move her little Dora couch around so it's facing the TV and see if she sits on it - she doesn't normally, but if we put her boyfriend (AKA: Iggle Piggle) on the couch, then she might sit on it.
oh, im so annoyed today.. i went to the early childhood clinic and our fav nurse wasnt there and some other woman has taken over. met her once and didnt like her. now i think she's there full time on thursdays. she actually lost lakshman's file!! and then measured his head circumference less that the last 2 nurses before! and then kept saying THEY were wrong and scared me into thinking something's wrong with poopy. poopy was also having a bikkie when we got called in and he was restless. so i let him crawl on the floor and got crumbs on the carpet. and she made a remake like you made my carpet all dirty, i got it cleaned the other day. i picked up all teh crumbs and she didnt even say thank you or anything. im going to see the other nurse on monday (dont care if i have to take the day off) whom we know very well since we started going there and complain to her. the actual nurse on thurs was not been well so there have been other nurses filling in. the actual thurs and monday nurse we know really well.
aarrgghhh.
just got back fr woolies.. had poopy in the trolley sitting, so he could look around. i got him secured w the belt but somehow he kept wriggling and standing up on the trolley and looked like he was sssoo smart. ppl said he was so cute. but i told him if he keeps this up, he's not going in the trolley anymore!! arrrg
Bron - i hope you are feeling better, try not to feel guilty, i know why you do cos i would too, but as Danni said, you would not be having any rest (that you need) if Will was at home.
You especially can not afford to have less rest, you need to look after yourself
MJ has a Dora couch too!!! she loves it, she sits in it every evening with her Doll Doll, she loves it!
She hasnt figured out that she can get on the couch yet, i am sure she could if she tried.
Last weekend we got a new cabinet put in (it inserst into a hold in the wall) DH spennt all weekend on it, anyway there is a shelf in there and she climbs up into it and sits in there, its so funny
Prama - MJ manages to swivel around in the seat too, cant have her in the little lie down thing as she has been sitting up in it for ages, i have to take a rusk to the shops otherwise she grabs EVERYTHING!!! and will reach around into the trolly and try and grab things out
Oh i would be mad at the CMHN - what a nasty cow!
Im tired, MJ is still sick, but almost sleeping through the night, her cough wakes me so i am having less sleep.
Shell - how is sleep for DJ... how is everyones else doing with sleep???
Skye, how many BF's are you doing now??? I am finding it exhausting to get enough EBM for when i am at work and thinking of cutting back one of the day feeds (she still is on 4 in a 24hr period)
SJ - It depends on the day. Some days every 2 hours, other's, like today, only 2. I have started him on full cream milk though. He probably only has 50 - 100 mls of that a day.
Skye did you find that Jesses bowels changed at all when he had the cows milk? I am not sure if WIlls poos are changing colour becasue of teeth or the milk I am introducing
