Yay jazz you go girl.

Oh god what a weekend..3 nrma call outs 2 tows and a 7 hour trip home for Sydney with a melted bumper bar after the tail pipe fell off.OH and top it off left my mobiloe phone in the park where w were waiting for the last nrma guy at glenbrook. By the itme I realised I had lost the phone I was over it.( 11 hours of waiting in total for weekend) Will was so amazing thorugh the whole thing and I managed not to cry *L*. It really was a nightmare but get this..we are nearly home and get a call form my dad in NZ and he says somebody has found my phone called some numbers found him and is driving through bathurst about and hour after we get home to go to orange so will drop my phone off. Cant beleive it. SO go and pick it up with a bottle of red as a thankyou. I thanked him said it was such a nightmare day and had a moan when he tells me his car had been broken into today and his stuff stolen including his camera which had his wedding and honeymoon pics on the from 2 weeks ago. I felt so bad poor buggar took the time to help me after all that. Still some nice people in the world and good to be reminded that how crap a time you have had there is always somebody who has it worse.

Happy birthday Summer

Hey girls,

Hope you are all well. I am doing better, cold seems to be at the tail end of it - thank god. I never go off food but this head cold has made me not so hungry and I love my food. Starting to get my appetite back :)

We checked DJ's mouth out and he has 5 teeth all coming through at once, so that will be 7 teeth in total.... or maybe more the way his teeth are now cutting through. My mum said he is doing exactly the same thing that my brother did. Too funny but explainsn everything, the whinging, clingyness, teething poo's (OMG!!). Just seems to affect him more at night though.

Trina - hope Summer had a wonderful birthday - loved the photos on facebook :)

Bron - OMG that sounds like a terrible time. Go relax and make yourself a cuppa ;)

Skye - oh wow Jesse is 1 in a week's time. DJ's birthday is next week Friday soooo can't wait. I am taking the day off. Still taking him to daycare for half day and picking him up early. I want to get the house all cleaned up for family and friends coming over for cake and coffee and plus I need the day off to make the cake haha

Prama - hope everything is ok, take it easy ;) It is hard because Poopy isn't well and you are juggling work and home on top of it. I hope he gets better. I am also hoping DJ doesn't get my head cold. Fingers crossed. Hope all is ok, and if you ever need to talk let me know. We are always here for you xx

Jo - ouch on the biting and I so know what that feels like. That is a new thing of DJ's too only in the last week he has started that. I think with 5 coming through at the same time he just wants to bite into everything.

SJ - yeah his sleep is still a problem. Some nights are good and some nights are hard... I think the teething doesn't help. Been giving him bonjela and on the really hard and painful nights I give him a little panadol to calm him down which seems to do the trick. Today he missed his morning sleep. Didn't get him down until 11:45 but he ended up sleeping almost 2 hours, so think he will go down in the next hour again.

Jazz is having her first haircut tomorrow night...should be interesting.
There is a lady up the road from me who does hair & beauty from her home and has a room set up as her salon, very professional looking. She's gonna do it for free.
Anyone got some gaf tape so I can restrain Jazz? LOL. I might have to bring Matt with me incase I can't hold Jazz...she's very strong!

6 days! On the count down & dreading it! As much as I can't wait for him to grow up its going waaay too fast. I don't like it :(
He's trying to blow kisses. Well I'm trying to teach him. Its so cute. Earlier he was putting his hand to his mouth going mwa, then he put his hand to my mouth to get me to do it! Aaaawww!
Mum took the 2 little ones to her place for a few hours today & when he got back the first thing he did was leant in & gave me a big kiss! His kisses are more like rasberries though, lol.

I think Bri's getting sick :( Hope its nothing bad. She's always caught anything & everything going. Even if the rest of us don't get it. I thought it had something to do with her heart murmer, but they reckon its an innocent murmer, even though its actually the second type of murmer she's had since she was born. I hope she doesn't get the condition mum has & that we are pretty sure I have. I guess we'll find out when she gets older.

Sorry for the erratic posts - going back to work is exhausting!

Its Mj's birthday tomorrow, i cant believe it, this time last year everything changed, i went to bed and woke up in labour! its amazing how quick it has gone and all the things that have happened over that time (and the friends that arent here anymore - reading over some of the old posts and there are names that kept poping up that we dont hear from anymore... i wonder how they all are)

Anyway, just baked a carrot cake so that she can eat it... its also a trial run for Saturday, as i am doing a carrot cake for the party too.
Mum and Dad are going to pop over in the afternoon and Nina and BIL are coming for dinner (spag on toast - got to do a kiddy meal for her!) but it will be a quiet day - the weather is going to be awful so maybe we will head to the pool... dont know.
DH has bought all her pressies, i have not done any as i just dont know what to get her! We got this really big super soft puppy dog and an Elmo DVD (an obvious DH gift - MJ doesnt watch TV with me :rolleyes:)
I have decorated the lounge room with balloons and streamers so it will look nice when she gets up in the morning.
Anyway, going to head to bed - having a glass of wine tonight, i feel a bit on edge, not sure why.

Bad night again last night. Poor Jazzy has 4 teeth coming through all at once. One of her top teeth has cut through but the other top ones are just breaking through slowly. Her gums have gone slightly clear and you can see the teeth through the gums, but they haven't broken through yet.

Hi girls

All of these first birthdays are taking me back to our discussions on this board this time last year and all wondering who will go next kehehee ahhh memories.... I am closer to you girls than my own mothers group. They are now meeting on Fridays (my work day) so don't get to see them anymore and don't get included in anything anymore... Oh well, that is life, can't do much about it, I have to work. But I feel like I have created a better and closer bond to all of you. You have always been there to vent and just talk about the same things I am going through with DJ, so it has been sooooo good. Just wanted to say thank you to all of you for your support :)

I better go and check on the monkey. He is always sooo cheeky.

Had a great day with MJ yesterday, DSS (and the ex) came for cake and Mum and Dad were here too, then they all left and my sister an BIL came over and wer ahd dinner with MJ, she loved the spag on toast, sucked up the worms and she was soooo messy! it was realy cute.

She loved the cake, i made a carot cake, iced it with a cream cheese topping and then stuck fruit n it, as soon as the cake was near MJ she reached out and started pulling the fruit off and eating it!
Going to make a similar one for her party but decorated like a butterfly.

Yep reading back over the posts, i cant believe how far we have come, what a journey we have all been on together. Somedays i honestly dont know what i wouldnt do without you guys, even though we have never met (cept you Jo - and BTW i think we are long overdue a catch up :)) i feel closer to you than some of my friends irl!!!

anyway, im off to playgroup this morning (like you shell our MG has died out so dont see them anymore),been up since 5am mj woke for a feed and i couldnt go back to sleep - she could!!!

i do miss being pg and am looking forward to having #2 but not for another year or so.

poopy's still sick, poor darling, it's been a mth. went to his gp yest, no anti-biotics again, of cos he's just had it last week. could be a combo of his needles and day care germs and all. maybe girl germs too. his "girlfriend" zara comforts him by holding his hand and this morning he was a bit whingy cos he was still sleepy and saw his carer getting his breakfast. she reached out and touched his shoulder as if to say it's ok! LOL. so cute!!
his carer also said that she can see his personality traits - independant, dominant and intelligent. he also seems to be the 'ringleader' lol..

back to the grinding stone!
