Yay for Violet's 2 teeth!! Hope that you at least get some sleep tonight now that they are both through, Tanya.
Gabby drank her bottle by herself this morning for the first time. I got up about 1000 time to the dog and to Gabby (did I mention I hate teeth??) so I was not impressed when Missy Moo decided to wake up at 6:30am! I made her bottle and put the handles on it, propped her up on a pillow, gave her the bottle and walked out. Half an hour later, I went back in and the bottle was on the floor and empty!! Not bad for a bub that has made no attempt at holding her own bottle ever!
-
hello girls
A very quick pop in from me - sorry - time is jsut a luxary I don't have much of these days.
James going really well - still the 10 teeth, the other 2 are STILL threatening to break through - no idea when they'll come through though.
He is crawling all over the place now, pulling up to stand against everything and walking around holding onto anything he can grasp onto.
I recently bought a playpen to contain the little monkey whilst I'm cooking at night because I nearly had a repeat of when Luke burnt his hand on teh oven door.
1st birthday coming up soon for all the bubs - we'll be having a little party with friends at a local park - getting everyone to bring a picnic mat and a large toy for each kid and thats that (loads of party food included of course)
um what else - oh we've got a home loan pre-approved and are currently in the process of looking for a house - very exciting.
Ok thats dh home with dinner - gotta love having the kids in bed by 7:30pm - nice quiet evenings to do as I please for a change, so its dinner then SCRAPPING !! lol
Zola - congrats on your pregnancy, only just saw your ticker.
Sarah - good luck with ttcing #2 - had a squizz at Zander's piccies quick - what a gorgeous little man.
Ok thats me - oh btw - our photos can be found here and I've managed to load all the photos from my sister's wedding here if anyone wants a stickybeak.
Ok girls, take care and keep well
Love to all
Colleen
-
wow - quiet in here isn't it.
Just wanted to come and wish my littl eman a happy 11 months today, his little present to me, he cut tooth number 11 - yay.
Off too bath my troop - later all
Hope everyone is keeping well.
-
Hi guys :)
yeah... I know.... you're all thinking "bugger off zola... you're taking up the whole thread with your mindless chatter"... but I just couldn't help myself.
yup... I'm a commedian.
sorry, bit of a spastic mood today. Have been feeling really down and emotional and that has now resulted in terminal spasticity, which I've come to share with my baby buddies :)
Yay for all the standing / walking!!! They think they're soooooo clever when the do it, don't they :) It's so cute though. Bas took his first steps across the kitchen last week and nearly cracked his face with the "I'm so clever" smile.
He's now *finally* gor 4 teeth!!! And he had his second haricut today.. he was quite well behaved.
Tanya... glad Violet's teeth have finally decided to behave... bet all the others will come all at once and she'll have the most teeth of all of our bubs ;)
Deb... go Gabby with the holding her own bottle! I bet she was just being lazy and letting Mummy do it. I kniow Bas will do it himself at home, but as soon as he gets with Nan he forgets what his hands are for!
Colleen.. happy 11 months to your little man.. not long til his birthday!! How exciting!! Thanks for the congrats too... I'm still in denial I think ;)
Yeah...so....and that....
Hope everyone else is doing well and bubs are having heaps of fun. It won't be long and we'll be having heaps of 1st birthdays!!!
Run out of babble now...going to go eat stuff.
-
How sexy am I?? :D
Good to see you again Zola! Talk about me being a slacker!! J/K
Only a few days till your little boy turns 1...eeek!!
Happy 11month b'day to James! Great to see you in here Colleen... things have changed since our pg days where there was always something to catch up on... now you only have to check in once a week!
Tanya
-
WooHoo Tanya - I didn`t recognise you, your gorgeous ;)
-
Woo hoo!! Go Tanya!! Congrats on going platinum!!
Zola - lol @ the terminal spastcity!! You're a dag...
After my excitement of Gabby holding the bottle all on her own, I went to pick her up at childcare yesterday and had a bit of a brag. One of the childcare workers said "Oh no... she's always fed herself here. We've only ever fed her the bottle once..." WTF??
So... my bubble was burst!
She better not take her fricken first steps there!!
She's only there one day a week!! Sheesh!
So she's been holding her own bottle for a good couple of months now. Cheeky little monkey!
-
Deb... Why do it when mum will do it for you!!?? LOL
Tanya
-
Yay for sexy Tanya ;) When were you going to say things about "my chart" in tiny tiny little wee letters?? PMSL - you're crazy my dear!
LOL on Gabby Deb - I feel the same way about leaving Jenna at home with Shane - at least he will see things, but I miss them. Not so bad since I can come home for lunch most days, but I would rather be at home withmy family.
BECCY!!!!! Where are you?? You better not be sneaking off for any latte's with my bloke ;) Nice of him to call around, I'm trying to convince him to go to Newcomb playgroup, maybe you can help me?
Zola - yay for preggie brain, I'm hoping I can join you in the next few months. We'll try again - and I'm sure if we keep giving that poor little eggy a bashing like its had this month, my belly wont stand a chance ;) Hope you are doing well other than that.
Where is everyone??? Is it going to be so dead all the time?
Happy 11months to a few bubbies, and almost 12 months to some others.
Fi
-
Fi, Glad you have dropped by... tis dead hey!? As for my teany tiny 'my chart' link... well there are a couple reasons for trying to make it a little less obvious; 1. I am going to get a lot of "your crazy my dear" comments ;) ...lol 2. I didn't really want to rub anyones nose in it (namely you!) I know you the loss of your bub has been hard and I didn't want to make a big deal out of the fact that we are tring for another bub, sorry if that sounds stupid, but I have been really worried about you 8-[ .
Anyway I am thinking I am going to sit this cycle out... not sure about having a pre-chrissy baby...
Anyway... gotta go and ... do... something...lol
Tanya
-
Oh Tanya - if you only KNEW how much sex I have had this month from TTC, you wouldn't feel like you were rubbing your nose. PLus its been kinda good to get bck to work and earn some moolah.
I think its great you are going again, but you know it will be another girl. ;)
And as for the pre-chrissy baby. Well at this point we'll take anything thats coming our way! Even if that means labouring on Christmas eve (ornew years... hehehe)
On the TWW now. C'mon double lines.
-
Fi, how many DPO are you (do you think).
Aaaaaand! Don't jinx me!! lol!!
Tanya
-
Fi - Good luck, I hope those 2 lines come up bold and strong. Thinking of you and sending you all my baby dust and some of my sticky vibes for a sticky bub. How`s Jenna?
Tanya - I hope you get that little boy soon, how lovely that would be the girls would love a little boy to bits but on the other hand if it happens to be a girl they will love her to bits too, look who`s jumping the gun LOL
LOL Deb @ MIss Gabby, sneaky little girl
-
If I keep saying its a girl, it will be aboy. I have fuzzy logic.
I'm 2 weeks yesterday since my period, so I must be CD15, but I have no idea how many DPO I am. Too technical doing all that calculation stuff. We just have sex lots, and we conceive ;) Its lots of fun too.
We DTD every day since about CD6 (it had been awhile since we could - pregnant, didn't want it, m/c couldn't, after d&c couldn't until bleeding had gone a week, after that had to watch contraception.....) soI admitwe went kinda nuts for a few days.
Oh well -if not this month than maybe next one. I'm not phased, it will happen when its right.
Dee - Jenna is great. Bad sleepign ATM, but other than that, taking lots of steps everywhere. Most is still 8, but she is always doing 3-4 now. V cute. :D She came into work with me this morning and had a ball, only there for 15mins, but all the old fuddy duddy engineers in my office were playing peekaboo with her. Pretty cute. They are all grandaddies :)
-
Well Fi if your on CD 15 I would keep BDing.. sounds like you will be anyway!! ;) My last cycle was 29days and I O'd on cd18 (but I think my cycle was a little all over the place from the previous cycle... another story).... sucks waiting for O, but at least my ttw is a little shorter! Fingers crossed you have already caught the eggy tho!! :)
Dee, how is your little jumping bean? Not long now until you know what flavour bean you are having :D I hope you get a strawberry one ...lol!! But seriously, the amount of BDing you guys did when you conceived, it has to be a girl :)
Tanya
-
Ok.... this feels like the twilight zone in here.... TWW... TTC... BDing.... O'ing - arrrrgh!! It's all coming back to me!!! hehehehe
Fi - sounds like things are going well for you guys. I hope you can convince Shane to take Jenna to playgroup. She'd just love it. So is Shane getting up to her during the night or are you still having to do that? LOL @ all the blokes doting over Jenna at work. Here's to a speedy BFP... a BFN won't be for the lack of trying!! LOL
Yeah... where is Bec??
Tanya - sending you loads of boy vibes. I still say you will "do a Trish" but opposite...
Off to a first birthday today. One of the little boys from MG. There's only 2 more birthdays to go (and one of them is Gabby's!).
-
Tanya - I thought the amount of BDing we did would mean a boy, obviously I`m one confused person LOL I do have a feeling it`s a girl (they also say girls are the stronger sex and it`s shown me how strong it is, I also have a feeling it`s twin was a boy as they say vanishing twins are often the boys being the weaker of the two), he/she is very active like it`s big brother (Fi I hope I`m not upsetting you, sorry if I am). I do feel more positive now it`s jumping around like a mad thing but then when I go for a few hours without feeling it, I worry again. Mark wants another boy, 3 boys apparently aren`t enough for him, I don`t mind what we have.
Fi - You sound more like yourself, I really hope you caught that eggie and as Tanya has said keep BDing, last time I O`d on days 11 and 19 so you`d be in the middle of your cycle anyway. Good luck. Hope Jenna`s sleeps better soon for you. Yay @ her taking so many steps, she`s a very clever girl but you already knew that. How cute of the engineers playing peek a boo with Jenna
Deb - Have a good day today.
Oh, I can hear my pegs going everywhere, this child of mine is so full on and hardly sleeps during the day now, I`m lucky if I get 1 hour in the late afternoon but I wouldn`t be without him
Hope your all well
-
Fi - YAY for Jenna taking steps. What a clever little bundle!!!! Good luck with trying to concieve. Sounds Like you're having lots of fun trying.
Deb, Fi & Bec - Can you believe that our babies are nearly 1? It's only 21 days for Ella. Boy time sure does fly. Are we going to have another get together? Was thinking that if we have it at the end of March we could have a cake for them all.
Ella has cut her second molar. That makes a total of 10 teeth at the moment, but her bottom gums are very swollen and more teeth are on the way.
Keep well and will try to post again soon.
-
Wow Ange!! 10 teeth!! I can't believe how long Violet is taking to get hers! it was a whole month beween her 1st and 2nd!
Dee... well going by Shettles, the more you BD, the lower the sperm count on each BD, this equates to a higher level of X spermies! But I suppose the closer to O you BD it also increases your chance of a boy. I suppose we can only wait and see :)
Violet almost walked up a step yesterday! It's so cute watching her plod around... still very slow :)
Tanya
-
Angela - I can't believe Ella has so many teeth!!! My god! Jenna is still thankfully just on the bottom two, but the top ones are closer. Maybe no more than a month away I guess.
Dee - itwill be very interesting to see if your preedictions run true. And you dont upset me, of everyone I know you know how I feel, so how can I begrudge you some happiness.
Tanya - I thought I o'd several times this month, but thats just plain confusing. I'm pretty sure I o'd fridaycause I had lots of cramps in my right side. We last dtd on Thursday am, we were fighting on Friday night and I slept on the couch - so we may have missed htis month unless those little fullas on Thursday am are tough ones. If so - I guess a girl! Nah - I reckong it wont be this month. We'll see. How long are your cycles? When is AF due for you? I'm due 9th March, and usually pretty much on time. How cute on Violets steps. :)
We have been looking at this AWESOME catelogu for a company called Judius - do a search and you'll find them. They supply kindies, playgroups, childcare etc, and we have found an amazing set of those vinyl blocks that we want to buy. They are about $600 though, but would last a lifetime I'd say. I'mnot sure if they are cheaper as they are expensive on some other things I've seen around, but I'll do a search adntry and find somethings. Jenna LOVES climbing up things, specially steps, so I figure these modular things would be great fun.
Shane is still getting up to Jenna. I just roll over and ignore her, so he has to I'm afraid. I'm not sure how I would go back to feeding 3 times a night again!! I'm a bit spoilt.
Righto - better bath and bed the child.
Fi
-
BOO!!!
He he he I was hiding..lol
Hi girlies it is nice to be loved well missed at least
How is everyone? People that are bding for a purpose [-o< good luck those for recreation ;) have fun. And me well guee beds are for sleeping!
Miss Eliza has been alittle plain teeth and a cold with a cough again!
So sleep has been my main ambition, it is a real killer when you get so use to not walking the floorboards with a screaming child.
Deb: Hope the last party for your mg was good, not long till Miss Gabs
Fi: lol I said to Nick that if the nieghbours pull him aside and start telling him about my afternoon visitors 8-[ to act really suprised
Tanya: Oooh nice ticker so "official" Hows the new house? And yes I love your look :p
Dee: Nice to see you again, hope you are keeping well. Everytime I weigh Eliza I think of Matty..lol I want her to add a few kilos
Zola: Hope you are keeping well!
Ange: Another tooth she is really churning them out, she will be the first to eat a steak
Better go and catch some sleep I suppose..then again I might just catch up here for another few hours.
I bet my bug is past the end in Eliza's ticker..sighhh
Bec
-
Hi Yu Bec :) Sorry to hear Eliza has been a bit ill...not fun!
Yes it's offical... I am still a bit scared tho... 8-[
Fi, I hope the 9th of march turns into the 16th of November :) . I still have AF atm... if I have a 28 day cycle it should be due again on the 24th (hopefully I O early!!)
Those Judius products look really good!!
Violet has been really good the passed week *knock knock*. Ever since her second tooth came through!! Yay! I hope the others don't take as long!
Tanya
-
Yah another tooth through ,I was starting to think that I was going to have to go in with the plyers and pull the damm thing out.So now we have 7. Please let the others appear overnight so I don't have to deal with them. On a good note she went down at 8 and woke at 6 and is back down again, if only we did nothing but stay at home 8-[
Have a great day
Bec
Tanya: I am petrified at the mom, I think my IVF doctors receptionist is ready to punch me if I cancel another appointment
-
Tanya - isn't it nice when you get a small break from the teething? Gabby has been delightful in the last week or so because her teeth have settled for now. I suppose I should make the most of it! Yay for the ticker... hope you don't have to have it for long! Is Wato looking forward to you being preggo again or is he scared too?? LOL
Bec - sorry to hear that Eliza has been giving you hell with the teething. It's so hard to see them in pain, hey? Lack of sleep certainly doesn't help. LOL @ Nick acting surprised when the neighbours tell him about your "daytime visitors" hehehe.
Fi - those vinyl blocks sound fantastic. I saw some big blocks at a dentist waiting room once and thought that they would make for excellent entertainment at home. They looked like giant dice. They are expensive but I guess worth it if they last through all the children (and grandkids at a later date??). How long until your back room becomes a rumpus room?? hehehe - As for you being "spoilt" with Shane getting up to Jenna... I hardly think it's being spoilt when you have to go to work the next day! Good on him for doing it tho. I'd still have to get up to Gabby if Neil became a house husband, I reckon.... although, he does get up to her on the weekends so I probably underestimate him. Actually, he reckons he wakes up to her crying at night now when he used to sleep through it. I think it's because their bond is so much stronger that he is more receptive to her needs. It's nice... but I know he needs his sleep so I told him to wear ear plugs, LOL..
Ange - wow @ Ella's 10 teeth!! She doesn't like doing things by halves, hey? Yep... all our bubs will be 1 so very soon.... it's scary but exciting at the same time.
Dee - sounds like Matthew is keeping you on your toes! Pity he doesn't sleep during the day for you. Too much to do and see! I'm glad that the baby is being really active and putting your mind at ease. I don't blame you for worrying when you don't feel it after a while. I doubt you can go through what you have been through and not worry.
Just had a friend come to visit with her 4 week old bubba, Alana. She's sooooo tiny!! Gabby was heavier than her at birth compared to what she is now! It was nice to have a cuddle but I have SO forgotten what it was like to handle a newborn!! I guess it's only such a short amount of time but, at the time, it felt like Gabby was so little forever!
Ooo excitement plus at the Morris household. Gabby took her first little shuffles on her feet yesterday. A couple of times we encouraged her to walk to us while she was standing and she shuffled both her feet, one at a time, trying to come toward us! I wouldn't classify them as steps yet but, sheesh!! I don't think they are far off!!
She's a little monster at the moment. She says Mum and Dad lots now and will point to her nose and my nose when I ask her where they are (sometimes....). Just a bit clever!
-
Yay Gabby, sounds like she is really getting mobile Deb!!
We almost have a top tooth!!! And I should've knocked harder, another crap night from Violet... poor bub, hopefully the tooth will be through tomorrow!
Tanya
-
Awww poor Violet! When it rains, it pours, hey?? Hope you get a better sleep tonight, Tanya.
Gotta go and clear out all the bedrooms because we are having the carpets cleaned tomorrow (a LONG time overdue). It's going to be great once it's all done. Almost like a spring clean!
-
We now have 3 teeth!! It was that close to the surface, it broke through this evening :)
Yay for getting your carpets cleaned Deb. It's amazing what a difference it can make.
Just thought I would pop in to tell you all that :)
Tanya
-
Fi - Perhaps your doing a Dee if you think you O`d a couple of times. Did you get EWCM each times plus cramps on the opposite side? I hope AF doesn`t arrive for you. Thanks Fi, I try not to mention bubs too much in here as I`m worried about upsetting you.
Tanya - Looks like I could be in for either sex as we BD`d every 12 - 18 hours in the first 2 weeks of my cycle so we hit O both times. Yay for Violet almost walking a step and double yay for 3 teeth.
Bec - LOL @ thinking of Matthew each time you weigh Eliza, would you like some of his length too???? He was 79cms @ 9 months, he was off the chart so he has plenty of length to give away if you`d like some too LOL. Hope Eliza is feeling better soon, I was going to ask how is she settling at night now but with a cold I`m sure settling isn`t easy atm. I`ve just read your 2nd post which tells me how Eliza is sleeping, I`m a bit slow atm!!!!!
Deb - Yay for Gabby taking a couple of shuffles. Is that Gabby on the front page of BB, it looks like her and Neil? Or do I have the wrong Gabby???????
I better get myself moving, getting some pixie photos taken today which are our first professional photos so I hope they turn out okay. Oh talking about photos I`ve updated Matthew`s site if anyone wants to take a look at my little monkey.
-
WHOOHOO its Miss Gab, we have a celeb among us.
Hi all just a quick post, the teeth are finally all settled down w have a hearing test today so I can't imagine her failing as she can hear a tin top being pulled..lol
Tanya: yah on the few teeth, lol about knocking harder
Dee: Hope the pixie photos go well, big smiles and all
Better run ...little girl pulling at me leg AGAIN
Bec
-
Dee - yep, that is my gorgeous Gabby on the main site. I was just about to come in and brag about how she is the baby of the month but you beat me to it!! We have that photo on our desktop because it's just too amazing. She only closed her eyes for 5 seconds so I was lucky to get the pic. It was when we took her to the beach for the first time in late December. Hope the pixie photos went well. Will have to go and check out Matthew's site after this.....
Bec - somehow I don't think Eliza needs to borrow any length from Matthew! She's a tall one! Have fun at the hearing test. Glad to hear the teeth have settled down - a long time coming, hey?
Tanya - yay for tooth #3!! Hope you get a bit of a break (and at least a few decent nights sleep) before #4 makes it's grand entrance!
I've cleared out all the rooms of furniture so the lounge and dining room (where we have floorboards) look like a furniture shop, LOL. It will be soooo nice to have all the carpets clean and fresh. The only thing I couldn't move out of the room was Gabby's cot but it's on wheels so I figure that's ok.
-
Hmmm... I think I have confused you all a bit... Violet is already walking... has been for almost 3 weeks. She almost walked UP a step... does that make sense?
Deb, I haven't seen the front page of BB yet... well done miss Gab tho :D
Bec, it's great to get a breeak form those nasty teeth, huh?
I hope Matthew behaves for his photo's Dee...
Tanya
-
Yep - Eliza will be tall, skinny, and probably blonde. Her mate Jenna will be brown, short, chubby and curly. Poor child. :)
Must go and look at the front page Deb - clever Gab
I got that Violet was walking Tanya - and that she walked UP a step!!! Jenna is starting to lift her feet toget over things, but shes still too clumsy.
Gotta go and get ready for work!!!! ARGH
Fi
-
Hi Hi Hi!! I'm still around :D
Sounds like we have quite a few walkers now YAAAAY!! Zander is walking as well, in the last two days moreso than he has been crawling! He's finally figured out how to get down off the lounge feet first as well - clever little monkey.
So how are all the 1st birthday party plans coming along? I've finaly organised a sort of theme for Zander's - it's Ollie from Nick Jr. He just loves him, stops what he's doing every time he comes onto the TV. So his invitations have Ollie on them & I have an Ollie cake pattern too.
Zander is into steps as well Tanya. Did you mean she walked up a step upright?? Cos Zander has discovered how to crawl up steps - goes up mum's 16 and sits at the top grinning like he's sooo clever LOL! Yaaaay on the new teeth Violet :D
Hehe Deb, it really looks like Gab's asleep in that photo, like she is soooo warn out from being at the beach!! Well done. BTW I think it would make a gorgeous scrap page ;) We had the same issue with the cot when we had our carpets cleaned just before Zander was born, silly thing wouldn't get out the door! Yaaaay at first steps, it's so exciting & scary at the same time!
Hey Bec, why is Eliza having another hearing test, did I miss something? Are they supposed to have another one?
Matthew sounds ike one of the bubs at my MG Dee - super tall! Funny thing is his mum is this tiny little petite thing so he comes up pretty high on her! How did the photos go? Hope he was a good boy for the photographer.
That website sounds great Fi, might have to check it out :)
Wow at 10 teeth Angela, I thought Zander has alot!! He has 8 and has done since he was 8 months old!!
-
Well Eliza passed her hearing test, I think she worked the system out pretty quickly. In Vic we have a standard new born and then again at 10-12 months just to confirm hearing is to adequate speech and development. Hope all is well with everyone....the shop just rang to let me know that Elizas birthday present is ready whoohoo!! I'm not going to pick it up yet as I will weaken and give it to her.
Birthday plan is well nothing yet hope people are good at short notice!!!
Bec
-
Hi girls
Bec.. yay for passing the hearing test... there is always a niggling doubt until someone says they are fine... well thats what I think anyway 8-[
What did you get Eliza for her Birthday? I am not sure what to get Violet... I am sick of all these toys... Maybe something she can keep... dunno yet.
Sarah, good to see you in here... we miss you O:) Yay for Zander walking!! They are so cute when they walk... you really notice how small they are!
Yeah I ment Violet tried to walk up a step... upright...lol. Didn't quite make it tho. Wato put shoes on her this afternoon... that put a stop o her walking...lol... but she like them on.
Hope you are all doing well
Tanya
-
Fi - LOL @ Jenna being the opposite to Eliza in features... you just neva know tho! My sister's BF was white blonde as a child and now has really dark hair! They can change soooo much.
Sarah - you guessed it... that pic is going to feature on her beach page (when I get time to get some more done!). There's no way I'll have it done before her birthday. Wow @ Zander walking more and more! Clever little monkey! Gabby is standing up heaps more (she loves to squat and stand then squat again... she thinks she's soooo clever). Sounds like Zander's "Ollie" birthday is going to be a hit! Good on you for finding a theme. I was going to do a bugs n' bees theme but decided against it because we're doing the naming day thingy aswell. I've sent out all the invites and have started buying bits and pieces. I've turned the spare room into a toy room so that the littlies can go and play in there safely (and the toys stay out from under our feet). Well... that's the plan anyway!
Bec - yay for Eliza's hearing test going well. Gab is going for hers the day before her birthday. I'm going to leave the vaccinations until after her party, I think. I don't want her being all sick and grumpy if I can help it! Yay for Eliza's birthday present. What did ya get?? I wasn't going to get anything for Gab but I was in Target yesterday and couldn't resist. I got her the peek-a-blocks train because she doesn't have any of the big toys that go with the cube blocks (her Uncle got her one for the round ones after I asked him to buy one for the blocks... urrgh!!). I also got her a pair of winter PJ's. At least she'll have a couple of things to open on her bday.
I became an Aunty again yesterday... well, a step-Aunty anyway. My step brother, Zach, and his wife had a little girl - Keleah Jane Marie. She was 9lb 7oz so a big girl. She's a little sister to Tayeanne who was just a bub when Zach met her Mum but Zach has adopted her. All very exciting. I'll probably go visit them tomorrow. She had a c/s so she'll be in hospital for a while.
Ooops Tanya... missed you cos we were posting at the same time! Doh! Sounds like a keep-sakey thing might be the go for Violet. I imagine after a couple of kids, the toys pile up mighty high. LOL @ Violet not walking because she had shoes on. It's almost like they have to re-learn how to do it with those strange things on their feet!
-
Hmm, I think I might have to check if the hearing trst is the same in NSW...
I'll try harder Tanya, I swear ;) Wowee at Violet trying to walk properly up a step, now that's scary!
Hey Deb, Zander's best bud Piper was doing the stand then squat thing for a few weeks & now she RUNS!!! So look out LOL! I bet Gabby will love the beek-a-block train, Zander has it & he loves it to bits. Are you not buying her many presents?
I'm such a shocker with presents LOL!! I decided to get Zander a few litle things plus some winter clothes because MG does a $110 voucher ($10 from each mum). Sooo I have bought him heaps of winter clothes (gotta love ebay - I got 2 BNWT jeans for $15 inc postage \:D/) and pyjamas. Other than that I have bought him a Little People doll, a photo album that's like a bath book, some cars and a ittle piano thingy. From MG I'm going to get him a ball pit & one of those little sofa thingos.
-
Wow! Lucky Zander! That's a good idea doing the $10 from everyone at MG, Sarah. $110 is a fantastic amount to work with! We were meant to do $5 in a card (so it would only come to $35) but the concept was lost on a couple of members. Some of them only give the $5 if they go to the child's party!! Urrgh! Sometimes you wonder where people's heads are at, hey? We're not getting much for Gab because we just can't afford it. The party will set us back quite a bit and, I figure, she won't remember it anyway. If money was no object, she'd be spoilt rotten!! LOL I almost bought heaps more yesterday but was a good girl and settled for the train (which I am sure she'll love!).
-
We have downplayed the party, because I prefer the present thing LOL!! We are going to the Botanic Gardens near us for a BBQ, I'm supplying soft drinks & salads, everyone has to BYO meat & alcohol if they want. It's a shame that your MG thing didn't work out, our biggest problem is the birthdays are so close together, last month we had 4 in a row!

Sounds like a good idea with the party, Sarah. I'm sure you'll have a blast (and your house won't be trashed in the process, hehehe). Urrgh @ 4 birthdays in a row... nothing like a $40 slog, hey? Still... it's better to contribute a little $$ than buy a cheap and nasty present, hey?
LOL @ you and the presents. It's fun, isn't it? Almost like we get more out of it than the children.... neva!!! *wink*
