Hey everyone :)
OOoooooooOoooOOooOO!!!!!!!!! All these birthdays!!!! Isn't exciting.. but a bit sad too... our little bubs are growing up!
I can't believe Bastian will be 1 tomorrow!! Time seems to have gone sooo quickly, and it'll only get worse.
Sounds like everyone is having a ball with the walking! Of course, ours is a lazy little bugger and has figured out that even though he can walk if he wants to, he still get to everything faster by taking a couple of steps then dropping to his knees and hooning off!
Anyway, just wanted to say a quick hello! Got to get back to cleaning for the party... I think we've got about 14 kids and 20something adults turning up to our place!
p.s. Gab is absolutely gorgeous in that pic Deb!! If I were Neil I'd be the proudest Daddy around ;)
Awww fanks, Zola.
Happy birthday to Sebastian for tomorrow! OMG... I can't believe he is 1!!
Really? It doesn't seem that long ago that we were all going through pregnancies, labour and coping with newborns. Now I really know what people mean when they say, "They grow up SO fast!". Sheesh!
Happy birthday Sebastian!!
Hi all, not much time. I'm not sure where it all goes these days - something to do with working full time and doing silly stuff like netball. I'm not sure when I'll realise I'm too old for this stuff. The body is aching this morning and I could barely pull myslef out of bed. Ahhhhhh it all hurts!!!
I've been selectedfor the D grade side - again. But as I said to Shane, I'd rather get a full game in the D's then a part game in the C's and besides - I'm hoping to only play a few months of the season.
Deb - You wont be long before Gabby is taking little steps I'm sure!! The squatting thing adds to their balance act, and I think its one of the last stages before they can start moving feet. As for MG presents - we are all buying on $20 (Ithink??) present, andwrapping it, and having a group party at one of the indoor centres, and putting all the presetns in the middle. The babies can go for the presents, and the first one they touch is theirs. And we have a rule - no presetns if you go to the parties.
Its too hard otherwise I think. Your $5 rule sounds great - bummer people didn't understand it.
Sarah - WOWmore posts from you in one day than the last month!! ;) Nice to see you, and glad that Zander is doing so well. Your party sounds wonderful, I'm sure you'll have a great time.
Bec - I haven't got a hearing test appt. Should I be worried??
Last night at training we took the girls to the beach (only 100m or so) for training in the water, it was just too hot for them otherwise, but I have Jenna until senior training at 6:30 cause Shane has to watch cricket training. Anyway, I new she would crack it not being int the water, soI put her suit on and let her play. She wasn't even a little scared of the water!! Even the waves! She went under, over, splashed and drank. Had a ball.
Righto - time to get ready for work - TGIF
Fi
I'm on a roll Fi ;) Sounds like life is very hectic for you at the moment. I suppose that's better than being bored LOL!
HAPPY BIRTHYDA SEBASTIAN :D OMG Zola, I can remember when you sent me that email waaaay back when, yup I kept it ;) I just had a look over the emails back & forward & had a bit of a teary moment seeing you saying you wouldn't take it as positive until you had done a 2nd test, cos Bastian is now 1 year old!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BASTIAN!!!!!!
We love you heaps little man !! :D
So far he's opened his pressies (50% of them dump trucks!) and had his bottle. Daddy has gone off to the bakery to get fresh bread for toast!!!
Thanks everyone :) I'll pass on the birthday wishes to our Schnerkle!!
Hurry up & change ticker!!! I want one of our bubbas to say 1 YEAR OLD!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SEBASTIAN
Hope you have a wonderful day Zola doting on that beautiful 1 year old boy.
I had a teary moment this morning , I said to Nick that this time in a week we were on our way to the hospital thinking how our lives are changing. His typical response was yep it was like Surviour at the end where you see all the people and they reflect..hmmm NO!
Typical response from him
Shushh Eliza is getting a bike..lol well not really a bike it is a bike but they are strapped in and you can push it with the big stick. Its so cute with a flag and tassles, Nick still begrudges the fact he has never had a bike that cost that much..pmsl well at least it isnt a pony another of my smart ideas.
Have a great day at work Fi I think I might need a debrief this weekend some time pmsl
Bec
Oh Fi hearing tests wait another week or so and give them a call I think they might be a little behind
Oh also Angela just rang and said Ella is in hospital with a virus will hear more today sometime.
Happy Birthday Sebastion!!
Ange... I hope Ella is ok!! Poor little mite!
Fi, sounds like Jenna had a ball at the beach!! It's kinda scary when they have no fear!
Bec... you have built a rod for your back!! You are going to be pushing that bike around for HOURS!!! lol Good Idea tho, I wish I had've gotten one for Em... and yes they are expensive!!
Sent out Violet invites a couple of days ago. We are just doing arvo tea on the Sunday... Still not sure what to get her...?
Tanya
Tanya:This ones rod is really high its from a proper bike shop, and I have now declared it a Daddy Daughter activity..lol
Bec
Happy Birthday Sebastian.
Bec - Yay on buying a bike for Eliza, she`s going to love it. How much are they? My Dad is buying Matthew a bike for his birthday, I haven`t seen anyone around here selling them though, well not the type you`ve brought Eliza :-k
Fi - OMG @ that child of yours having no fear, glad she had a wonderful time at the beach. Your body sounds like mine after a days work looking after 14 children at work, it aches for days on end, silly old body!!!!! Anysign of m/s Fi? Your AF is due soon isn`t it?
Sarah - The lady at your MG sounds exactly like Matthew and I but I`ve got a bump now so don`t look as small as I did against Matthew, well I don`t think I do, when Matthew stands his head comes up to just under my groin, I`m 5'7 so only average, I agree it looks so funny and even funnier when I come across a 14 month old, half Matthew`s size, shorter then Matthew and is walking, it was a boy at work yesterday. You sound like your going to have a ball @ Zander`s party, I`m like you I love giving presents.
Deb - Yay @ becoming an Aunty and what a big girl too, I love the name.
Happy birthday Sebastian!! Go nuts with those dump-trucks!!
Fi - LOL @ Miss Jenna down the beach! Sounds soooo cute! Clever chicken. It's good that she has no fear. Gabby is such a sooky-la-la and it drives me batty! Wanna swap?? LOL j/k Sounds like D-Grade is better with your netball. Better to be the best of the worst than joe-average, hey? That's the way I justified it when I was put in the bottom level when I played basketball. Had nothing to do with the fact that I am unco, unfit and useless, LOL. Oh and you'll get sent out a letter for Jenna's hearing test. I got Gab's last week (I think) so you'll probably get one for Jenna in a couple of weeks time.
Ange - hope Ella is ok.
Bec - yay for Eliza's bike!! I love those things. You see people pushing their kids around them at markets and stuff. More fun than a pram I suppose! LOL @ Nick being resentful at the price. Explain inflation to him - he probably DID get a bike that cost that much in relative terms.
Dee - we're just about the same height! I am like half an inch taller, LOL. Wow, Matthew IS tall!! Yay for the bump getting bigger too!!
Tanya - yay for getting Violet's invites out. Sounds like a Sunday arvo tea will be nice.
We skipped playgroup today.... oooeeer! It's too fricken hot and Gabby is being a pain. More teething me thinks. She won't go to sleep!! Grrrr! And the snot.... OMG.... it's everywhere!!
Just had to duck in and wish Bastian a HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Zola - I hope you guys have the best day, it is heaps of fun and this starts the roll on for March!
Hi All,
Dee - I thought you were short!! Turns out you are taller than me - PMSL. I think next to Sarah I am the shortest on this site. :( Oh well - bigger things to worry about!
Sarah - I love seeing your posts here, keep them coming!
Zola - sounds like Bas had a great day :)
Debbie- Oer skipping playgroup! You can have jenna anyday. She is asooky pain, plus she goes a million miles an hour. She is pretty much walking full on now. Only crawls sometimes. Rascal.
Bec - Eliza's bike sounds great. Do you reckon she will share? I'm up for a debrief. No doubt you will quiz me on my cycle. BTW - I'm 6 days off AF, and I've been crook as a dog for 2 days. Not sure if its psycho-semantic (is that the word?) so I'm ignoring it alland drinking too much wine tonight. Well it worked in Vietnam. If only you SAW how much alcohol I had when I was preggers with Jenna. I cringe now, but obviously she isn't scared forit all.
Tanya - great on the afternoon tea. I hope you have a lovely time.
I'm wondering if my hearing test has been posted to Lara.... ? Someone email me who I have to call please?
And my only other news is my brown cat is gone. She has been missing for over 24 hours, which is most unlike her. I'm thinking the worst, and I know it sounds terrible, but I wont be too sad if shes gone. The cat has cost me a fortune over the last 4 years!! And I'd just been told it was going to be $500 to get some teeth out, and add to that she chews clothing. I swear that is a $5000 cat - absolutely no exaggeration.
But jenna will miss her as she lets her do anything to her.
OK - thats me.
Awww... poor Lily. Maybe someone has taken her in?
LOL @ Jenna going a million miles an hour... has she ever stopped?? Bit like her Mum, I reckon *wink*.
Don't stress about the hearing test. Like I said... I got Gab's just last week... seeing that Jenna is 3 weeks younger, you'll probably get it next week or the week after. I've got the number if it doesn't show up tho.
I think I was drunk a couple of times in early pregnancy with Gab too... I can remember the last time I drank... it wasn't going down all that well and I just wanted to sleep. How valuable is hindsight, hey??
Your symptoms sound promising!! I bet after all that BD, Shane is secretly hoping there's at least another month of TTC, hehehe.
Went into the hospital to see my new neice. She's a cutey. Lots of dark hair and a cute button nose. She looks soooo big! I got to have a cuddle but not for long because she wanted booby.
I went in via the MDAU and I shuddered as I wandered past the door. I hope I never have to set foot in that place again!! Urrgh! As it is the Post Natal ward brings back memories!
Ha Deb - try walking past all those beds into the U/S room, only to find out your D&C has been bumped for a day. The MDAU will always have a nasty feel for me, nastier than just being in induction pain (which I got too..... ;) )
Lily just walked in the door. A part of me says Damn. I am a bad pet owner. Well maybe not. All of my family has been telling me to get rid of her since she started this chewing fetish about 4 years ago. I just can't do it. I know if I drop her off somewhere, the new owners would put her down for the neurosis, and I can't do that. :( She is sooooo hard to handle. But a very, very affectionate cat - to the point everyone says they love her.
Fi, I think I am glad to hear your puss came back...lol. I'll swap you my gingetr female for your nutty cat... she ****ed and ****s on clothes!! I am almost fed up!! I think her problem is that when she was a baby she wasn't house trained... I got her at an adult and now she just finds a pile of cloths and uses that for the kitty litter!! I am going NUTS!! It's absolutely disgusting! Any ideas??
Yay for Miss Jenna walking :)... sounds like she needs to... to keep up with mum!! :)
Deb congrats on being a new aunty :D My sister rang last night (no-one knows we are ttc) and she said "you'll have to have another baby... they have 4d u/s here now" she is a nurse. And I told her I want another...lol she thinks I am crazy!! Well... I am. I can't remember why I was telling oyu that...? lol
Tanya
Tanya: I just had a mouth full of coffee and laughed about your puddy that does unsightly things to your clothes what a hazzard.
Dee: Elizas bike was $170 I havent picked it up yet, mind you I think they start at about $90 its all the optional extras that I think Eliza needs..lol
Deb: Yah we got out invite, so looking forward to it, your neice sounds devine.
Fi: Poor puss, Jenna would miss her is it the one that goes meeeooooowww all the time. That one annoys me pmsl. My cat costs me nothing, I pray for the day the run away too. Ohh signs are promising if I come over with a HPT and a bottle of wine I reckon I could convince you to test early.
I haven't heard from Angela re Ella, I was going up to visit and it came to me that I really don't want Eliza sick aswell so we decided to stay away.
Hmm better organise Eliza party after all it is on Friday, is it bad to just go to a play centre. I would rather the kids have fun and the adults have coffee...hmm wonder if you can have alkiehole there!!
Bec
You're all going to die from shock when you see I'm back again ;)
Tanya, my cat was blamed for doing the same sorts of things when I was living with my parents. Except that when we moved out it kept happening, turned out it was actually my brother's norti cat!
Fi I know what you mean about your cat returning. Mine is an absolute shocker - screams literally all day long, so I can sympathise with your feelings there.
YAY on the bike Bec, sounds great to me. I think a playcentre party sounds good. That's why we're going to the gardens - no mess for me to clean up!
Awww poor Gabby with her teeth again. I must say that we have been luky with teeth, we have a bad week beforehand but he tends to get them in lots, 2 then 2 then 4 so with 8 teeth, we've had 2-3 bad weeks.
Am I the shortest LOL!! Ha does't surprise me!!
How tall are you Sarah? I am 5'5... I think... or 5'6... Cant remamber I think I am 165cm...?? Poor ALecia is 5'1... I know she is only 13, but I don't think she is going to grow much more!
Emily is going to be short too... she is tiny! Violet i think will be a bit taller.
Tanya
I'm 5ft 1in, hehe so about the same as Alecia!
Fi - Against Mark yes I am short, I know all my children are going to tower over poor Mummy  I used to be tall in my day at school. I`m glad to hear your pussy is back even though she`s a very noti girl. I have my fingers crossed for you.
Sarah - I have my fingers crossed for you too.
Bec - THe playcentre sounds like a great place to hold a Birthday Party - oh talking about party`s I better book Michael`s, otherwose I might be a badddd step Mummy.
Deb - Your neice sounds like a real darling.
Tanya - Ewww you`ve got a very norti pussy cat there.
LOL I'm not allowed to wear heels around Fi anymore 8-[
I'm lucky as Nick is so tall I never notice that I'm 5'10.
I went and saw Miss Ella in hospital today, she has lost so much weight but hopefully will be home soon. On the up side Angela got the "hottest" paed ever as Ella's doctor :-k might have to visit tomorrow on the odd chance I get my yearly drool in. Yes I am pathetic, everytime I'm in a hospital I think that George Clooney is going to come and "whisk" me off. I hope he is understandable that he won't be my first (hide child).
OMG this post is showing my real side..lol
Bugga it going to post it
Do it
Done
Bec
PMSL Bec - you crack me up. I wil lnot be testing early. Just so you know. And today I dont need the wine, so maybe I should bring a bottle over to your place, and then you dont have to drive. LOL. Shane is out fishing again. Lets see if he can catch 20 undersize snapper again and bring nothing home. I would really liek fish for dinne at some point this month. Maybe I'll be going to the supermarket huh? Playcentre sounds great - wanna make it in the weekend so I can come? You know - just organise your life around me please ;)
Sarah - You are definitly the shortest, but maybe Tanya is just shorter than me. I'm 166 I think..... I always say I'm 5,5 or 5,6.
Tanya - friends of ours have had their daughter on HGH for the last 3 years or so to get her to grow. She is 14/15, still short, but not as bad as she would have been. It cost them a fortune. And your cat sounds worse than mine!! Well maybe not. I'd go spastic with the pee too. Thankfully mine use their litter try really well. Well sometimes one pees up the wall a little, but at least its in the same place.
I've never been able to figure out how to make a cat stop peeing inside - its usually a mental thing - like they are marking territory or something. You have a few animals, so maybe the poor thing has just never felt at home?
I played netball yesterday for the club - a practise match. I got a full game which was awesome, since it was C grade and I'm D grade! They are pretty happy with my GKing, so hopefully my flexibility will get me full games every week :D Sore bones today.
OMG - I am going tokill the dog over the back fence!!!! It wont stop yipping! ARGHHHHH STOOOPID DOG!
Fi
Fi -grrrr silly dog! Our neighbour's dog does that too. When Lucy barks, I tell her off... wish others would do the same! Yay for getting a full game in C-Grade! Not a bad effort. Fingers crossed you will keep getting full games.
Yes... I guess the MDAU has scarred quite a few of us. My fear and loathing of it isn't just the painful induction (even if it did last for 5 days...), mind you. There's more to it than that. It's just a room full of midleading information, false hope and disappointment. I know it doesn't compare with what happened to you (which still gets my blood boiling) but you can only live what you know, hey?
Hope you get some fish for dinner!!
Bec - LOL you are such a dag!! Glad to hear that Ella will be ok. Thanks for keeping us informed. Hope you get to see the hot doctor again, hehehe.
Tanya - grrr @ your cat. My Mum's cats went from being really good cats insofar as using the litter tray to little ferals that did their business everywhere when she moved! It was aweful. The previous owner must have had cats or something... they felt the need to mark their territory all over the place. She has since moved and they have calmed down but they are getting old (I think they are about 15) so that's another can of worms. Ah pets, hey? We love em but sometimes they make life difficult. I tell you what... I swap you the cat for a little mongrel 13 year old maltese-shih tzu?? hehehe
And I bet you need a panadol now :cryinglaugh: cause I do!!:
PS Eliza got some cut Nike of her aunt and uncle, Nick thinks they will be good when she starts to hit a tennis ball or swing a golf club...Yes Mr Williams / Mr Woods
Bec
Here again!!
So did Shane get any fish this time Fi?? And well done on the netball game, sounds like you had fun.
Not alot going on here. Zander has a cold which isn't very nice at all, but he seems to be trying to sleep it off which I guess is good.
I just can't believe that he's going to be 1 in only 2 weeks. What happened to my baby???? He was in a sleeping bag last night (getting cold of a night here now) and I said to Aaron he just looks so tiny in it. Worst thing is I keep thinking, he's too little how can I thrust a new bab upon him when he's so small. Then I think awww I want a tiny bubba again. I don't know what I'm doing these days *sigh*
Birthday week has offically started and I have a dirty hangover, but then again it might stop me from drinking to celebrate in the future.
Bec
Ohh and I'm sunburnt but look skinner..pmsl
Sarah - awwww.... it is scary that they are all turning 1, hey? Zander sounds so cute in his sleeping bag. From what I can gather, most Mums go through the whole guilt thing when they start TTC or are pregnant with #2. It's completely normal - after all, you love that little bundle sooooo much, how can there possibly be enough left over for another?? Just think... if you do get pregnant soon, Zander and the new bubs will be nice and close together in age and keep each other company. That's an awesome gift to give him! Also... he won't be so widdle by the time bubby comes along *wink* Hope Zander's cold buggers off quick smart!
Bec - lol @ the hangovers. They're not pretty, hey?? Darn @ the sunburn but YAY for looking skinny, hehehe.
Gab vomitted last night so I was greeted with a delightful smell when I got her up in the morning. How she slept in it, I don't know! I am just hoping it wasn't for long. Had to strip her bed and clothes and wash her sleeping bag. She had to sleep in a 00 sleeping bag during the day because it wasn't warm enough to dry her regular one (it can't be put in the dryer). It's so lovely. My step Mum (of all people) bought it for her. Not sure what brand it is but it's kind of like a gro-bag. She should fit into it for quite a while. The only problem is it doesn't have sleeves so I have to make sure her arms are warm enough with a jumper. I guess once winter comes along it will be easier to keep her warm. She won't sleep with a blanket over her yet so I don't bother (she just ends up crying). She seems ok now - just a bit sooky today. Hopefully no more spews tonight!!
Hey Bec - I've been sick all day - thats a good sign for being pg huh??
For all those that care - I told Bec to come over, I had the wine. She turns up with ANOTHER bottle, that was nicer than mine, but not as cold, so we had to drink mine before attacking hers.
Before we knew it - both were gone. I've been SOOOOO ill all day, and I told you that the sun was attacking you!!! I bet you are a skinny looking lobster! LOL.
Sarah - once you are pregnant, it will all feel right. And I'm not sure how many babies you have been playing with - but ours aren't little anymore!! They will all be walking and talking by the time the next ones come along, and throwing tanties no doubt. Bummer on the cold - but YAY on him sleeping it off. I would love a sleeping baby at the mo. She is shocking.
Oh Deb - yucko on the spew. I'm sure if it was upsetting her, she would have let you know by crying. PJ's should be fine under the gro-bag thingy. You dont need anything too warm. I have 2 room thermometers, so you can have one of those if you are worried.
Gotta go umpiring tonight, on a sick gut. I've told Bec - no more Sunday drinkies, it kills Monday at work, and she just gets to play with a delightful baby all day. Actually, I know which is harder......
Fi
Ouchies on the sore heads ladies but I am sure you had a wonderful time which is the most important thing I say.
I was a dirty stop out myself Friday night. 8-[ One of my closest collegues was leaving us and we left work at 3pm for 'a drink or two' hmm... a few drinks later it was 9.30pm when I was walking in the door! How lovely of hubby to put little man to bed for me. I was rapt and had a lovely time.
Sarah - yep Zander is going to be one. OMG - where on earth did that time go!! I hear on the 2nd baby thing. Will we or won't we? I still can't bring myself to check in at the TTC threads!
Deb - poor Gabby, hope she is better. I'm with Fi - I am sure it wasn't too long.
Yay for looking skinny Bec!
Fi - how is work going? Hope netball wasn't too tough on you.
Hi All
Ella is home from the hospital now. She had a gastro virus that only caused her to vomit. No poo thank god!!!!! She lost 600grams in 4 days and is still very weak, but is on the road to recovery.
Ella says "Thank you for your get well wishes".
CONGRATULATIONS GABBY!!!
Just saw she is Baby Of the Month!!
WoooHooooo!!!
Ange... I am glad to hear Ella is out of Hospital. I hope she stacks on the weight now she is feeling a bit better.
All you poor women with hangovers!! LOL... It's been that long since I had a drink I don't think I could handle 2 bottles of wine.. maybe a glass!!
Eww @ Gab's Vomit!! Yuck!! I hope she isn't sick...
Sarah, it's scary taht they are almost 1!! I am sure Emily wasn't this small when she turned 1!! I think it's cause Emily is older that Violet still looks like a baby. I am completely opposite to you... in the baby thinking area... didn't even think it when I wanted another after Emily. Not sure why. But I know my best friend thought exactly like you... You'll be amazed at how Zander will cope, and what is even more amazing is that was can still love our child as much as ever and love the next one (or two or tree ;) ) just as much!! O:)
Fi, maybe Jenna is teething? I hope she starts sleeping better for you.
Tanya
Hi all,
Well what a busy day for us MCHN this morning and Paed at noon.
What can I say ...my daughter has porked on some weight and is a healthy 12 month old. Her feet although look funny are normal and I wont be putting shoes on her till she can walk ( scrunches her toes under and walks on the side of her foot) her heart murmour is still there but not effecting anything her black circles under her eyes are just her and her bruise on her ribcage is a "blue nevis" like a strawberry one but under the skin...bit like a birth mark but all in all she is very heathy girl. For once in the 12 months I feel like I have done a good job, somehting that is easy to doubt when you have a scarred child rearing attitude like mine.
Yah bring on the cows milk no more formula
Bec
tut tut tut to the drinking girls, the thing is that if I hadnt had to go I could of done another bottle lol
What's this, hey?? Having a drinking session without inviting yours truly along?? LOL j/k... I am still drunk shy from last time so I would have been no fun.
Bec - glad to hear that Eliza is fighting fit and you are feeling good about yourself and your mothering ability!! It must feel so nice to walk out of that MCHC with a smile rather than feeling inadequate! Hooray! Yay for the cows milk too. It's going to save us quite a bit of money once Gab is on it full time. I can't wait either!
Tanya - LOL @ not being able to handle one glass of wine. I'd love to be a fly on the wall the next time you have a drink! I bet it will be a riot.
Chrissy - fanks matey!
Ange - glad to hear Ella is on the mend. Poor chook! Gastro is nasty!!
Nell - yay for having drinks and coming home to Matty all snug in bed! Topped off a nice evening, I bet.
Fi - how did umpiring go?? Hope it wasn't too icky.
Haha Deb - It would have been a long stagger home for you! At least Bec can drag herself home. Umpiring was fine - thansk for asking. Hard way to earn $15 though.......
Still, once I stop working, I can umpire and potentially earn about $150 a week if need be, so its kinda good.
Tanya - yes, a seasoned drunk over here. Its amazing it only took a couple of months to get back into my old ways. The binge I partook in over the m/c period certainly helped my capacity. How long did it take you to conceive Emily and Violet? Do you htink you'll be TTC for long?
Bec - yay on the MCHN appt. Sounds like it went well. And yay for a healhy girl. What did they say to do about the cows milk? Fill us in.
Angela -I'm glad Ella is back home. How long do you have to keep her away from other babies? I know I was told with our gastro it can stay in the system for 2 weeks afterwards!!! Mostly in the poo, so wash your hands lots :D Hope she porks up again soon.
Nell - yay on thr drinkies, and double yay on the great hubby.
So we are still getting terrible nights here. Its just so hard with work too, I reckon I only got 4 hrs last night. She is going down, and then waking up a couple of times a night screaming!!! last night it was 3am, and then by about 4am I finally checked her nappy, pooey, and then Shane tried again to settle her. Finally at 4:30 she was being fed in bed (I gave in.....) and back to her cot after that.
Teething?? I dont know, but its been bad since I went back to work. The front ones are looking more swollen, but no white bits yet.
Fi
Fi, Violet would wake crying and not give up until I got her up... So now I just giver her a drink of water... not that has been happening very often of late. I get her up... walk her to the kitchen, get her straw cup, put some water in it and give rher a drink (most of the time I'll warm it in the microwave for a sec) then put her soundly back to bed... it takes two minutes... maybe it will work for Jenna...? Better than putting her in bed with you, unless you like having her there odf course.... I hate sleeping with them!
I didn't ttc Emily 8-[ I went off the pill... don't ask why! And next thing I know I am pg! Whoops! Violet took two cycles... the first cycle was a **** poor effort tho! The second cycle I reccon we just made it! Wato and I had a bit of a wild session and he couldn't BD for a while after... meanwhile I O'd, while he couldn't dtd. Didn't think I had a chance... but just goes to show never count your chickens! So after my weak effort last cycle (I wasn't going to ttc, then at the last minute...) I reccon well have a real go this cycle.. only BDing once over O tho.
Deb.. yes I am a funny drunk... very scary! lol Good thing is tho... I don't usually get hang overs (Dunno about now tho... it's been a while), just the major dries!
Glad to hear all is well with mis Eliza and your parenting Bec!! :)
Are any of you geelong girls going to the Melbourne meet in a couple of weeks time??
Tanya
Fi with the cows milk my paed said I could do it either way, reduce the amount of formula each day and substitute with full cream milk, so last night I only made up 3\4 formula and top up today is half and half tomorrow is quarter three quarter and then all milk. She has had no reaction so I'm taking she ok.But he did say with the amounts of cheese and yoghurt she eats swapping her straight over would be ok, just watch her after first consumption. She should only be on 3 bottles a day so that will be interesting how I am going to drop her from 5.
But last night whhooohooo she drank 280ml of milk formula, which coming from my 120ml max girl is quite good. I wont mention that she also woke at 1am for another and again at 5 lol. They told me when I was in SCN with her that one day it would all click.....only taken 11 and half months.
Enough of me going to kill some spideys
Bec
Ewwww... spiders!! Are you not scared of them, Bec? Glad to hear that Eliza is enjoying her milk. Gab is down to 3 bottles (though I think she'd happily drink 5 if I offered them to her, LOL). I have put some cow's milk in her arvo bottle the last few days and no reaction so I am hoping I can swap straight over when she hits that illusive 12 month mark (which means only 1 more tin of formula! Hooray!). Hey, you never know... the cow's milk might fill Eliza up more and she won't have so many bottles?? At least you'll know she's getting in all her calcium! LOL
Tanya - sounds to me like you'll be preggo again pretty soo with your track record!! LOL Easy-peasy! Not much fun for Wato tho. I'll have to check out the Melbourne meet but I probably won't be able to go. Too hard with the 2 girls (and Paige gets picked up at 2:30pm) and lack of $$$ with a crapola petrol guzzler.
Fi - very handy to earn a few extra $$ with umpiring when you stop work. Any extra $$ you can make come in handy. Just the $20 a day I get from Paige has helped lower our mortgage payments - better than a poke in the eye with a burnt stick, LOL. Ick @ the crappy sleeps! I don't envy you. Come on Miss Jenna! Mum and Dad need their sleep!
Baby free day today! Yay! I've been to the gym this morning and that's about all I have achieved so far, LOL. My street is being re-asphalted because our neighbour has been hassling the council about it (I don't think there is anything wrong with it!) so my car is parked around the fricken block! Such a hassle! Ah well... I should be glad it was done on a day when the bubs aren't here.
