Heya girlies and babies :)
Wow Sarah, Zanda sure has a lot of teeth. Have you tried clipping your puss's claws? They only need the very tips off them to make them a lot less sharp! Chamba, doesn't care what the kids do to him (I think it is the bast thing about the Birman... sooo placid), Mod-Z on the other hand HATES the girls and has scratched Emily on many occasions.
Bec, have fun getting some Chrissy pics of E,iza, I hope you get at least 1 good one :)
Fi, Violet is stiiill teething. Not as bad atm, but still a bit grumpy, so it's been about a week now. I can see lumps at the back of her gum, but not at the top of her gum yet... so I think they will still be a while #-o
So the MCHN says three feeds huh? Stoopid woman!! Violet is still having 4; 7am, 11am, 5pm and 8pm (or there abouts) I think your MCHN is too stuck on rules! go with Jenna, she knows what she wants not the MCHN!
Playgroup break up yesterday, Santa came along and gave out pressies. Emily got a bit sunburnt, I'm a bad MUm, forgot to put sunscreen on... it was hot, windy and sticky... bluh!
Been a bit tired still, and been having a few headaches, I think I am not drinking enough water... norty me!
Going to Shep to get my hair done tomorrow and do a little bit of Chrissy shopping :)
Alecia's old primary school has their concert tonight, so I think we'll pop along, the girls will love it. PLus Santa will be there... poor Emily will be so confused with all these Santas!!
Tanya
-
Oooh Tanya - tired and headaches?? Maybe feeling a little queezy?? ;) Trying to hint about something?
Wowo on 8 teeth Sarah!! Its oonyl now that we realise that they are growing up so quickly. :( Dont ya just want to hit pause for a couple of months? I'm not looking forward to the top teethies. More for her to bite my bbs with. Myabe Bear isn't feeling well atm?
Yay Bec on the peaceful Sunday night. Did you have a hangover?
Shane is insisting on a nap, and thinks Jenna needs to have one with her. She is in there screaming - but oh well. His problem!!
Fi
-
LOL @ Shane trying to get Jenna to nap with him, Fi. Sooo cute! LOL @ getting preggers after stocking up on AF gear. That happened to me with Gab. I went out and bought a whole bunch of stuff cos I swore I felt her coming! Even the HPT was done just to bring dear old AF on.... always the bloody way! (and I mean that in the "oh darn" sense... not the literal "bloody" sense... 8-[ LOL ). As for dropping a feed... Gab is still on 4 milk feeds a day too. I have been diluting her afternoon feed (the 3rd one that will get dropped... hopefully after Chrissy) but that's because she won't drink much water. Ah well... uno the drill.... the MCHN has no idea! It doesn't surprise me that Jenna is only 8kgs... she is soooo active.. she doesn't have time to put weight on, LOL.
Sarah - OMG @ 8 teeth!! That's a whole lotta teeth! Well done, Zander! Grrr @ the cat bashing Zander up. It won't be long before he'll be able to get his own back tho! The minute Zander starts walking, he'll probably start wandering around with the cat under his arm... or holding it by the head, LOL. Maybe the cat knows what it coming? We had a cat when we were kids... Maggie. She wasn't the sort of cat that ever got picked up. But Erin used to wander around holding her by the neck! She was the only one that could get away with it. They had a special bond.... both psycho, I'm sure ;)
Tanya - hope you feel better soon. Yay for Santa giving out pressies at playgroup. Gosh it must have been fun to watch. I can't wait until Gabby gets excited about Santa. Right now she'd probably just try to pull his beard off (it's what she does to Daddy all the time). Ooopsies @ Emily getting sunburnt. You can't remember everything tho! Have fun @ the concert.
Bec - woo hoo for Eliza's toofies!! Clever chicken! Any wonder she wanted to suck on the antlers. They probably made her teeth feel cushy for a little while. Have fun doing your Chrissy cards. I haven't bothered with them this year.
Dee - how are you going, matey. Been thinking of you! How's Matthew going?
Ok... you guys HAVE to go and check out Gabby's portaits. I got the CD back so I have all the photos that were taken. Some aren't worth it but there were a few that were just adorable. There's one of Gabby and Neil and she's looking up at him and he's looking down at her. SO cute! Then there's one of her snuggling up to me and it looks like she is saying "Awwwww" because she has her mouth open. I am going to get them printed up and frame those rather than the posed ones. Mum and Dad will have the posed ones at their places.
Had a full-on day today. Gab slept until 9:45am this morning! But it was good because we headed to Werribee as soon as she woke up and hung out at my old school for the day. Gab loved playing with all the kids. My old students have all grown soooo much! Gosh I miss them soooo much! And my little boy that couldn't speak English at all last year?? Well, you wouldn't know it now! He was speaking fluently! His teacher was rather surprised to hear from me that he barely knew a few words just last year. SO nice to see. I tell you what, visiting the place has made me more confident about going back to work next year. Even if it is just one day to start off with. I am sorta looking forward to it!
Ok... gonna shut up now! hehehe
-
Oh Deb,
The pics are gorgeous...you and Gab oohh it is cute
Bec
-
Fanks, Bec :) I think so too.... only a little biased ;)
-
You are right Deb, those pics are sooo cute!
Went to get the hair done... aahhhh... much better! So much lighter.
I also got a $105 parking ticket!! I had to pick up some bulky stuff from Target, so went to the loading bay. There was a semi in their and a car parked beside the drive way so I pulled up a little bit away in a loading zone cause there was nowhere else to park... I was gone 2 minutes MAX and there is a parking officer ticketing my car! GRRR I am going to write a letter... not happy! There was noone loading in the loading zone, which is 20 metres long. Oh well.
Tanya
-
Tanya;Oh yuk, pretty pricey for a ticket too, puts a bit of a dampener on the day.
Weeeellllll,
This morning my not so Dear Husband more like a DH, forgot to snib our sliding door to the back and miss clever decided to push it open and tumble down the stairs...brick stairs. She has an almighty bruise near her eye, I'm sure she doesn't have concusion. Pfffft not sure whether I am going to talk to him tonight!! He has rang to check how she is so that is something. Christmas photos are off ...DHS will see them and come and check me out 8-[
Hope everyone else is good.
Bec
-
Oh no @ the fine, Tanya! Definitely write a letter to get out of it. Bloody parking inspectors! Yay for the hair cut tho!
Bec - omg... poor Eliza! I know which stairs you are talking about. Naughty, naughty, Nick! Hope she's ok. LOL @ no Santa photos incase DHS sees them. You are such a dag!
I have Neil home today with gastro. Lucky for him he hasn't vomitted at all - just had it out the other end. Of course, his work has been calling him all day. Why can't they let the poor bugga be sick in peace?
-
Poor Neil,
Hope he is being a "pleasant patient"..lol. When Nick is sick all I hear is BBBBbbbbeeeEEEEEeeeeccccCCCCCCCC. My tummy hurts do you think an icypole?drink?lolly?muffin? ect will make it feel better..Pfffttt as If I know..eat it and see if you spew!!!
I'm not a patient nurse...lol
Bec
-
Poor little Eliza!!!! Jenna and her will have matching bruises I think. She slipped over today and banged the side of her noggin on the windowsill. ARGH!!!! She is sooooo clumsy (and Shane is soooo slow)
Sorry about the ticket Tanya - horrid little parking nazi.
Deb - I hope Neil gets back to work nice and quick for you
Fi
-
Deb - I`m gathering by your question you haven`t come across my post in the miscarriage and loss thread about my OB appointment yesterday. To cut a long story short........ I conceived twins and on the scan yesterday it picked up 2 gestational sacs with 1 live baby with a good HB in one, the other sac was empty, what a difference 13 days make where before the u/s only showed 1 sac which was empty. The look on our faces must have been classic, the first thing which went through my mind was um why are there 2 sacs????? LOL Could you imagine what my life would have been like with 3 children under 15 months  How`s Neil today, I hope you wasn`t called into work.
Bec - Oh no poor Eliza I hope she`s okay.
Tanya - Sorry about the parking ticket, that`s all you need at this time of year.
Sarah - OMG @ Zander having 8 teeth, I bet your glad your not feeding him yourself.
Fi - I think I`ve mentioned before our MCHN told me at 6 months to only feed Matthew 3 - 4 times, I didn`t listen and neither did Matthew but the last few days he has dropped down to 3 feeds a day, I was a bit worried about him doing so a few days back when it was so hot and he went from 6amuntil 2pm before he wanted a BF. Keep doing what your doing and feed when Jenna wants it I say. Glad MCHN didn`t mention about stopping BFing, unlike my Mum she doesn`t approve at all. Ouchie`s @ Jenna`s fat lip.
Deb - Matthew`s doing fine, he`s over 10kg now and I think about 75cms long, so he still doesn`t look fat, I don`t think he`ll ever look fat he`s too long. But I`m not suppose to be picking him up (pg is at high risk), I mean to say how can I not do that.
Take Care everyone
-
Dee: I will say it again, it is fabulous and although one little one hasn't made it, one determained little one is hanging in there. From a high risk pregnancy mother to another, depend on people, I wasn't allowed to carry grocery bags, umm well really do alot including being on my feet. I'd ring my family , neighbours , pretty much anyone to help. Its not for a lifetime and most people like to feel helpful. As for the lifting that is my only concern in ttc again, although Eliza is a lightweight she still needs lifting.
I'm so happy, take it easy
Bec
Hi to everyone.....hmmmm housework is calling but I'm pretending to be deaf..lol
-
Yuck. Hot grotty day, I have have had shocking m/s alllllll day. YUCK!
After Dee, shane and I are joking about my twins. We've decided that its going to be twins, and poor me will have 3 under 16months, and shane will go back to work. Sooooo not something to joke about!!!
Dee - i agree on the feeding. Jenna just knocked me back for her afternoon feed, I'm thinkin she is too hot. Oh well - it'll be me thats leaking before her last feed tonight!
Hope all are well 8-)
-
Ahh it is a little on the warm side,
Had mothers group christmas lunch was noice but I find none of them talk so there was long periods of silence ( cause I was sick of my own voice).
Pitty I don't have that problem with you guys  .
I'm thinking before christmas comes around I am going to post all of these emotions just for the fun...let it be my gift to you all :cryinglaugh:
Hmmm going to have to post some more if I want to meet my deadline. I must go and put up the stoopid christmas tree :fuming: It is a delicate piece of art and I get a bit ancie if Nick puts the decorations in the wrong place...imagine when Eliza wants to do it  or when they bring home those chains made from paper :-k , well I have enough time to think how I will deal with that.
Oh well enough of me :smt039 :funny:
LOL I'm going to book mysef in somewhere they can help me
:hbeat: Bec
-
Oh and Fi sorry you are feeling  , must be all those triplet hormones flying around
Bec
-
Hi girls :)
Fi, sorry to hear you are suffering from m/s, only another 2 months of it :(
Bec, I can remember our christmas tree, with 5 lids there were planty of crappy homemade decorations to plast all over the tree, I think we had the most.... ummm... colourful tree in the street :)
Thought I broke my finger the other day... I hit it relly hard ('crunch' sounding) on the grear stick in the car... it was really sore for two days, but it's much better now. ... thankfully.
Cut a pine off the side of the road, just a feral one, not a native... it is now our christmas tree :) tis bigger than it looked on the side of the road 8-[ . With it in the pot it is about 9ft tall.
Violet is so funny when she claps her hands... you say 'YAAAAAAAAAY' and she thinks she is just the best...lol
Anyway, hope you are all prepared for chissy

I'm looking forward to getting to know you better and hearing what your gorgeous bubbas have been up to.

Dee - I am so sorry I missed your wonderful news! I guess with being sick and having my internet down yesterday I have been a little behind. Many apologies and a huge congratulations! What a miracle! :happy4u:
Hi babymakesthree and Alannah (love, love, love that name!). Welcome to the forum! And congratulations on your pregnancy :)
Tanya - ouchies for your finger! Sounds like it would have hurt a lot! Woah @ your 9ft xmas tree! That's a fair effort! Better than our one. It's barely 3ft. Last Chrissy, Neil decided that if he was going to pay $30 for a real tree that he wanted it alive. So we have one that I have to try and keep alive all year round
Bec - LOL @ trying to use all the emoticons by the time the year is out. A tad bored, were we?? ;) I think you may have to "let go" of your decoration control.... Eliza will soon be making all kinds of "pretty" decorations. I remember one year when the 4 of us covered our tree in finger knitting. It was the ugliest Christmas tree on the planet! Still... we were SOOOOO proud of ourselves (and the 30 balls of brown and mustard-yellow wool we had turned into 'decorations' ;) ). Actually... it sounds like a tree that Shane would love, hey Fi? ;)
Fi - LOL @ the twins. Don't joke... that happened to a friend of ours. Although... her first child was almost 2 so not quite as young as Jenna will be. It would certainly be a 'challenge' for you!!
We had MG today. All the kids are getting so big now! They are all starting to sort of play with each other too - it's nice to see. One of the Mums wants to start TTC again soon... she'll be the first one in our group to go back for seconds. The thought still frightens me. Even though she wants to be preggo with one of us, I pointed out that it will be handy for her to have us all there to help her. We can have MG @ her place when she has the baby and help with her housework and stuff. We can't do that if we all go and have another baby now, can we? ;)
-
Shannon - only thing with mine is Gab's head circ. It was 34cms. I think I was meant to fix that up when she was a newborn (I didn't have the info in front of me when I signed up). Have only just noticed it, LOL.
Other than that, it's all still the same.
-
Gab has been a bit of a sooky la-la the last few days and now I know why! I just had a feel and her top teeth are coming through! One has broken through and the other is trying to. They look soooo cute! I can't wait until they are right through. Gosh these bubbies are clever, aren't they? It also explains the wake-ups I had last night (though I just had to pop the dummy in and she went back to sleep.... so it's not all that bad!).
-
ahhhh - clever miss gab-gab. I didn't think she was all that sooky. You should have seen mine tonight Deb. Give me patience!!!!!
I am sick of feeling crappy. How many more weeks to go?
-
They're such funny little things these bubbas.
No sign of top teeth for us, but I do think it is why Alannah was waking so much the other week....
Crazy girl tonight, had only 40mls of milk before bed (last feed) couldn't get her to take a drop more, am excpecting to be woken tonight!
She does have a bit of a cold at the moment, so maybe she just didn't feel like it.
She suprises me every day. I read her books every night before bed and one of the ones we do quite frequently is a Wiggles book. The last page has a picture of Geoff, and I always tap her hand on it and say 'Wake up Geoff, Wake up!'. So tonight, we got to the last page and she started tapping away by herself! So cute. I went back through the book again, she doesn't do it to any other page but that one, so she must have learnt that that's Geoff and he needs to wake up! Such a very proud mum tonight.
Wishing you all a good nights sleep.
Suzi
-
That's pretty clever of Miss Alannah, Suzi! Sounds so cute! Don't stress too much about her not drinking all of her last bottle before bed. Gabby has been doing that lately and still sleeps through. Actually, she has been sleeping more than ever! Not sure what's going on there. 8-[
Fi - awww.... icky ms stuff, hey? It felt like forever that I was sick with Gabby.... yuk! LOL @ Jenna. She's soooo full of beans! Just adorable tho!
Gab is being a pain in the bum getting to sleep. I think she was too hot to start off with so I stripped her down to her body suit (she's still wrapped so she'll be warm enough). She's had some bonjela for those toothy-pegs but she's still grizzling. I've told Neil to pick up some panadol from the chemist on the way home jic we have a wake-up or two tonight. Poor little sausage! It must be so painful having teeth come through.
-
HoHoHo
Hello mummys and bubbys,
Deb:Poor little Gabbler, it seems like she is coping ok.Good to see you have Dad on the trail for some panadol just in case. Lets hope a few toothys appear in the next few days [-o<
Fi:Feeling alittle better today.Hope Jenna was a angel today
Babymakesthree:Welcome to you, Alanah and bubs to be!
I had Angela over today and now are convienced that Eliza is vicious, she trys to rip faces and pull hair, the worst is that she smiles through it.
no one will want to play with her :( . At least tonight I put my christmas tree up, and finally wrapped afew presents.
Other than that I am absolutley buggered, 2am,3am,4am play till 5.45 and then wake up at 7am. Those nasty big teeth better be good for something other than biting.
Better go and  , in preparation for another night of drama
:heartbeat:
Bec
Day 2 = 16 emoticons whoohoo :smt082 17 lol
-
Oh Shannon,
All's good with me too.. :cheer:
Bec
-
LOL Bec... go the emoticons! Yay for getting some prezzies wrapped and your tree up. Urrgh @ all the wakeups last night tho! We had a shocker too. I tried to put Gab to bed at 9pm but she grizzled until about 10pm. I got her up and brought her to our bed to wait for Neil to get home with panadol. She just sat, propped up on a pillow and stared. Poor sausage. The panadol must have helped because she went to sleep around midnight and is only just waking up now. So, not bad really - but a shocker for her. We've got our last swimming lesson this morning so I hope she's happy for that.
-
Shannon, Violets length was 53 cms
Welcome Babymakesthree (I think I'll shorten that to BMT next time :) ) Violet stil has no teeth too... She was the only one with none, but now there are two with none... Congrats on your pregnancy too.. I think it's great having them close together :D
Deb, I hope those teeth don't give gab too much more grief!
Better go Alecia is pacing, BORED!!
Tanya
-
Fi - LOL @ your twin jokes, it would be lots of work but fun, fun, fun, I`m missing my loss twin :(
Tanya - LOL @ Alecia pacing being bored, oh I remember those boring teenage days.
Bec - LOL @ Eliza being vicious, Matthew`s the same, nothing gentle about that child of mine. Yay for putting the christmas tree up and wrapping presents, I haven`t done my Christmas cards yet, I was thinking about doing it today but I feel yuck. I hope Eliza sleeps better for you tonight. Thanks for your tips re high risk pregnancy, I`m starting o panic about trying to clean the house before Christmas Day plus cooking all the food forChristmas Day, not sure how I`m going to do it all when I`m suppose to be resting.
Thank you Deb and thank you for your lovely SMS, I`m still having to look at the u/s photos to believe it all.
Welcome Babymakesthree - as Shannon mentioned I`m the other mummy to be but I belong in the May group and try to pop in here to visit my BB friends when I have the time.
Take Care Girls
-
Hi everyone!
How are we all doing today? I've done most of my ouse work and am getting the last of my Chrissy cooking done.. before the arvo tired patch comes ;)
Deb.. sorry Gab is having probs with her teeth... hope they poop through soon!
Fi... IKWYM about being tired! Had to leave a friends b'day drinks last night at 8.30!
Tanya... glad to hear things are better with you and Wato.. will reply soon.. promise!
Bec.. Bastian isn't very gently either.. hopefully it's something they grow out of!
Dee... congrats to you again! At least your bub will have someone watching over them as they grow :)
Welcome BabyMakesThree! Your daughter ahs a GREAT birthdate!! It's my little boy's birthday too :) I'm also expecting our second.. due in August.. so you're not on your own in being crazy!
 to everyone I've forgotten!
Better go get these cookies out of the oven before they burn!
-
OMG Zola! Congratulations! I had no idea you were up the duff again too! How slow am I?? LOL Sheesh... all you nutters going for round two ;) j/k
Dee - no worries about the SMS. I felt rotten that I hadn't tried to keep up with the news! Just so rapt for you guys.
Tanya - I hope Alecia found something to do. I can't remember the last time I was bored.... funny how kids fill up what little spare time we have, hey? ;)
Gab's swimming lessons are over for now. It was an ok last lesson. I'm still pretty disappointed with the lessons as a whole. She got her certificate and a lollipop. Hmm... now, every baby there was well under 12 months old. Why hand out a lollipop?? Maybe for the parents?? I thought it was odd n e way.
Gabby is exhausted and went to bed without a fuss. The weather outside is crap. Hmmm... maybe I should go to bed too?? hehehe
-
Hi girls, hope you are having a nice Saturday.
Well Alannah has a cold and a cough, so wiping running noses today -joy!
Did sleep on the 40ml last night so don't know what's going on there.
Debbie Lee - Sounds like you did have a shocker last night, we've had a few of those of late and I do think it's teeth.
I'm sure Gab will appreciate her lollipop in another 12 months...lol
Bec G - I think Alannah is vicious to as well, but only to me! She takes the greatest delight in trying to gauge my eyes and scratch my nose! Laughing even harder when I say no!
Tanya - Nice to meet you, you can call me Suzi if you remember. Pretty confusing user name I've got here!
Deejoy - Nice to meet you in here, and congrats on your pregnancy! I hope you are feeling ok? Sounds like you've had a surprising/sad/happy couple of weeks!
Zola - How funny our bubs both have the same birthdate and you are due again with not much difference! we must be in the same zone..Congrats on your pregnancy also!
-
Hello everyone,
Deb: Those toothys appeared, poor little sausage staring it must realy hurt, I think we are over the worst of it, well until the massive molars appear.
Zola: Hope the cookies are yum, hmm if I wasn't so lazy I would make some, Thanks for making me feel better about Eliza viciousness
Dee: Take it easy over chrissy, I suppose it might be hard if you haven't started to tell people, It is so normal to miss your little one that sadly isn't here. Thankfully little sticker is behaving him or herself, although I am having girl tendencies only because girls always cause trouble
Babymakesthree: I hope Alanah is feeling better today, I am a ml freak, Eliza only drinks about 100ml in her bottles at the moment. I have to trick her by putting cheese or white sauce in with her vegies and meat..ah therer is another 125mls. 1 tub of yoghurt = 250ml bottle tada.
Tanya: hope Miss Violet is doing all her clever things, so cute to clap ...yahhhh clappp.lol
Fi: Hope Jennas egg on her head has gone down!
Well we had a great night, I put Eliza down at 8 and gave her a sleeping feed at 12 and then she woke at 6.30 shoved another bottle in and she slept till 8.30 OMG how great is that.
I have given up trying to feed her when she doesn't want it and it is working so much better...fingers crossed it continues
Better dash have to buy one more present...I keep looking at Elizas pressies and think ooohh maybe I should buy more than 2 toys..arhhh it will never end
Hoorooo
Bec

Hi,
Dee - I wanted to make suere you didn't think we were being flippant about the twins. :( After reading your post I felt really bad that you might think we were making a joke at your expense, which is of course not the sort of thing I would do. I'm so with you on missing your other baby. :( Its just we sort of think fate could bite us on the bum for trying to be clever and having bubs close together. I had a dream last night about having twins. They were bananas....... Very strange I know. And the first one came out, and I started feeding it. It had a tiny little mouth and was really pinchy. And becasue I was still feeding Jenna, my milk was still iin, and this poor little nana got flooded in all my milk!! And the other twin took 2 days to come out.
I know - very strange dream.
bec - your last post had nooooo emoticons. Very disappointed!!
ARGH!!! Gotta go - Iron Chef is on!!! Its prawns tonight. YUM....
-
I know Fi...lol
I thought people might start to think that I was seriously loosing it. :smt100
So I chose to thow a non-emoticons post ...I think if I train hard, I will still make it, or you know I will post about 20 times on 24th December..lol
Hope your dinner was lurvley, still havent managed to iron yet, thankfully otherwise the "triplets" would be in 0's by the time I returned it.
What a spaz my comment about the ironing hd nothing to do with the iron chef pmsl
Better go before I get in trouble 8-[
Bec :af: pmsl again
-
Fi - No all`s cool, I`m just having a bad few days and my continual bleeding doesn`t help either especially when it decides to get heavy, but I`m suffering from constant m/s and feel icky all the time plus extremely tired, I could sleep standing up at times so hopefully they are all good signs. LOL @ the dream. Twins never entered my head even though I wanted twins desperately when Matthew was conceived, I`ve also worked out I`m actually 100% certain that I O`d twice, a good 8 or so days apart, so you never know you may have also.
Bec - My Dad, Mum and Mark`s Mum knows but for some reason I`m not getting any support from MIL, I`m still waiting for a sorry and hug from my original miscarriage now Mark and I are both waiting for congratulations from her, it would be nice if she came out and did the house work and help me cook for Christmas Day but I think I`m being too hopeful there. We both think the same way re girls always cause troubles LOL Yay fo the great night.
Babymakesthree - AS I said to Fi I`m feeling really icky, guess that`s better then having no symptoms at all when I started bleeding @ 6 weeks. Sorry to hear Alannah isn`t well, hope she`s feeling better soon.
DEB - LOL @ giving the babies lollypops, you`d think they`d know better
Zola - Hope you and Bas and your growing bubs are ok.
-
Poor shane is on his death bed. He's been spewing and pooing all morning!! Great! I get two of them!! IOh well, thats what being a mummy is all about.
I'm hoping its food poisoning, not gastro. I dont want what he's got!!
Dee - I feel like crap too. There was an amazing show on 10 yesterday afternoon - the human body. All about pregnancy and the growing foetus etc. AMAZING!!!! The guy threw himself into a dinghy in rough sea - one of those life boats with the covers?? ANd said this is the closest I'll get to feeling M/S. Thats about how i've been feeling.......
Sorry about the spotting, I hope it settles down.
I'm being called.... baby orDP?
Fi
-
Awww poor Shane. Hope it's nothing contagious Fi.
Zander is the opposite Bec - he's getting 23 presents that I know of 8-[ Not all are from us though!
At least you guys got a certificate Deb. Our kids got NOTHING. We asked & were told that they only get a certificate when they go to the next stage which is at 2. Fantastic when none of us are goin g back there :(
LOL at Eliza being vicious Bec, Zander is pretty placid except with one fried. It's hilarious Zander & Piper (she's 10months) wrestle, steal each others biscuits & generally bash eachother up, but both are gentel with the other kids!
We had our first first birthday party for MG today. It was really good. Emily was due just before Zander & her birthday is tomorrow, so yeah she was 11wks premmie. It's amazing to look at photos when she was just born to the litte girl she is now.
-
Oh no, Fi!!! What if Shane got gastro from us??? If so, it's a mean and nasty bug, that's for sure! Lauren (my sis) got it too - and we were all pretty healthy by the time she came to see us. My apologies if that was the case. I hope you and Jenna don't get it.... it's horrible!
Sarah - that's sooooo mean that Zander didn't get a certificate for his swimming!! I reckon you should make some up yourself! Sheesh... it's not like it's hard, hey? Some places are just so thoughtless! Yay for your first MG birthday! Ours are all coming up soon. The first one in in January. My gosh... it's gone fast!
Dee - as much as it sux, I hope that MS sticks around for a bit longer to give you reassurance that everything is ok. You must feel like you are on tender-hooks most of the time. I hope the next few weeks go by really quickly so you can start to feel more confident. And I hope you MIL wakes up to herself!
Bec - glad to hear that you have found a little routine with Eliza's feeding. Not long before she is 1 and you won't have to worry about getting that formula into her. She'll probably always eat like a bird. A friend of mine was telling me about her first-born. She never really took to the bottle. She said by 9 months, she was only having 2 bottles and it would be an hour-long battle each time. She's a perfectly healthy little 6 year old now... and as skinny as a rake, LOL.
Babymakesthree - I hope Alannah is feeling better. Colds are yukky! Combine them with teething and it's a recipe for disaster.
Well.... I have an announcement to make...
Our little bee is CRAWLING!! \:D/
Yep... as of yesterday, Gabby decided that she would just "get-it". No more backwards shuffles - forwards is the way to go. She's even got the arms and legs moving in unison like a pro! Neil and I were watching her play when she suddenly crawled over to where the remote control was laying on the floor (who needs expensive toys, hey?). We were rather shocked! We knew she was getting close to it but we thought it was still another couple of weeks off.
So, today was spent exploring the house. While I was out cleaning, Neil said that Gabby decided to visit him in the kitchen then she headed to the bathroom and back. She's quite proud of herself.
And, uno what?? She still doesn't roll, LOL. Talk about doing things arse-about. So I can still lay her on her back and she won't go anywhere.
We went to see Santa today too. We only had to wait for one baby before us. Gabby wasn't phased one bit! She smiled for the camera and tugged at Santa's beard. It was so cute. When I tried to pick her up, she wanted to stay with him! I am wishing we took the video camera now!

Hello Buddies
Deb: :happy4u: clever little miss crawling, I give extra points for the non- rolling aspect she is still confined.lol Glad the Santa pics went well, I must do that this week
Sarah: Wow 11 weeks early, hope the Birthday party was fun ,lol at Matty wrestling..esp for the bikkie
Dee: Families are funny people, out of our whole family my MIL was the best. My mum could not deal with it and just pretended it didn't happen. She just told me that after I had used up the tissue box to wipe tears that was it no more crying..yehh not too good.
Fi: Hope the gastro is subsiding in your house, I saw the guy in the boat ..hehe and thought of you!.lol
Well we had a good day here we went of to the markets and then finished :smt041 my christmas shopping.ILs have just called around for about the millionith time this weekend, and Nick wants to move closer not likely. :fuming:
Eliza has been really good of late pulling herself up on everything. I have a christmas get together with my girlfriends tomorrow morning and then take my mum to hospital in the afternoon. I'm sure to be tired
It might test the limits of how much she can cope with..ahh practise for next Sunday..lol
Hope everyone is well and is soaking up the chrissy spirit

LOL @ getting practice for Xmas day, Bec. It's sure to be a huge day for all the babies, hey? Hope you have a good time at your get-together and I will be thinking of you this arvo with your Mum. Hope she's ok :)
Fi - hope you guys feel better soon! Sorry for passing the gastro joy onto you all! Who would have thought I would still be contageous!? Damn germs!
Gab's teeth are still giving her hell but I think she is coping with it a little better. She's just so dummy-crazy atm. This morning she managed to get hold of 3 of them... one for the mouth and one for each hand, LOL. I had to be all "secret squirrel" and take them off her if she got distracted by other toys. Hopefully her top teeth will be through by the end of the week. We have Neil's work break-up on Friday night. Gab is going to Mum's for the night again so it would be reassuring for me if she was 100% by then.
Can anyone believe that Christmas is coming up so quickly?? Arrrgh!
