Hi Ladies, good to hear you are all doing well and survived the silly season. Ours was fairly mellow. DH worked xmas but have NYE off. Both the boys are well. Brad is getting a little bored with the hols i think and is starting to wear me down. Liam has decided that our house is a gymnasium and climbs the back of the lounge and either junps or rolls down and is also hanging off any benches and vanitiy bowls he can reach. His talking is coming along slowly but steadily. Still only single words but they are increasing by a handful a week. I'm getting a little over hearing "mum" then he does something, "mum" does it again...etc...!
I had a really scary thought today.....My baby will be 2 yrs old in 4 1/2 weeks i can't believe it has crept up so quickly . I had always planned putting him in a big bed for his birthday but he is still so all over the place when he sleeps. We have a bed rail but that won't stop him falling out the end. plus if i am going to order one i should probably do it soon so it will be here in time.
I think i have decided to start a new business venture. i looked into it when Liam was a few months old but it would have been far too difficult. I am going to start doing a Homewares party plan that sells, wrought iron, timber, jewellery, beading, oils, linen, craft kits, scrapbooking. ceramics......can't think of anything else....?!?!? It will be something i can fit in around DH's shifts my other job 2 half days a week and most importanyly the kids, give us a little more $ to save, no probably spend (haha) and just to give me a better sense or independance. The company is local (1 hours drive) so I plan to go and visit them next week to have good chat and get a proper run down.
