Rachel, sorry to hear you didnt get the cut you were looking fwd to. I hope Grace is back to her usual self again too. See you Wednesday!
Karina, I bet the reunion was interesting. We were due for our 10yr reunion last year but everyone was too lazy to organise something. I was secretly glad because I wound have been pregnant. I would much rather go after I lose 10kg's and can have a good drink! ;) So hopefully I start losing some weight and they organise one this year. Knowing my luck I will be breastfeeding, unable to drink, and havent lost an inch!
Caro, hope your little man continues to be pain-free.
Tate was good again last night, 6 and 6. Cant complain. He makes my heart melt with his big blue eyes and cheeky smile. I was singing Gwen Stefani this morning to him and he thought that was great, crazy kid!
-
Hi everyone. I'm still getting back to health at the moment... ongoing problem which flared and caused me some anxiety and stress. Very concerning moments, but hopefully we'll find something one day which will manage it all better. Man, I soooo can't remember what's been said since I was here last!! Looks like for most that bubs are getting more settled now. I've noticed that Oskar is a lot better now and is happy to lay on the floor with his toys and have a chat while I have brekky or go to the toilet etc. So that is nice. I think it's a lot to do with their eyesight developing and they don't feel like you've left them alone in a place where they can't see properly?? That's my theory anyway.
Jessica, I'm so glad that Tate is sleeping better for you hun. I did the same with Oskar but during the day instead of feeding when I used to all the time I divert his attention so he's feeding better instead of grazing and allowing me time to do things.
Must be off, Oskar is waking up now... LOVE my baby monitor - I can HEAR him now when he wakes...woohoo!!! He has such lovely smiles now and I love it... oh I updated pics too... click his name and I think pics from number 13 on are the newies. ;) Hugs n kisses to all of you and bubs too ;) Sarah... you are most welcome honey.
-
Hey everyone,
Who would have thought that after 3 days of Kailee not feeding properly and being a pest, that today she would come out with chicken pox. Fantastic I say. And the worst part is that the ECHN discovered it at the Early Parenting Group this morning, so now the other 9 babies have to be watched, how horrible do I feel.
Its so horrible for her, she isn't settling properly and so we are having temper tantrums because she just doesn't know what to do with herself. Not nice!
Ooop screaming again....
-
Richelle, thats terrible about the chicken pox - I hope everyone is ok and it doesnt last too long.
Cass,I hope you are feeling better. How cute are their conversations! Claire is a talkative one. I reckon she is saying "hungry" sometimes lol. Cute pictures!!
Jessica, the reunion was 'interesting' for want of a better word. I only went so I could see like 2 people. It was also meant to be our 5 year reunion which *should* have been last year so if it was, i also wuld have been pregnant. Wow on a nice big sleep. Awesome.
Rachel, argh about Geace being canky and not feeding - glad you sorted it out though. bum about not getting your hair cut, but yAY on getting the colour done! I should get my hair cut , its awful.
ok someones waking.. better go

:hello: Girls
I GOT THE JOB!!! :confetti:
20hrs per week and they are flexible with what days I want to do. I start in two weeks so now have to do something about EBM/Formula not sure if i can get enough supply up in the freezer. K is three months today, god its gone so quickly. He has his 3month check up on Wednesday cant wait to get his weight/height measured to scale to see how he is going.
we had some professional photos taken, the are only up on this website for about 1 month so if you would like to go on and have a look go to: http://www.members.westnet.com.au/he...mmerellfamily/
Dinner was great on Saturday night very hot hot hot though so didnt eat too much, K has been pooing big time hehe.. Babysitting was good for my parents, a bit of a crying streak but soon settled to sleep so they arent scared to babysit again.
Sarah: Hope the feeding settles soon. Im still feeding K every 2 hrs during the day then he sleeps around 10hrs during the night. I dont know when he is going to miss a few feeds during the day, thought he might my now being 12 weeks but no still wanting that feed.
Nat: YAY for 7hrs sleep thats fantastic. Have fun in Tassie.
Jess: YAY for getting more sleep it feels good doesnt it, i love my sleep!!!
Karina: OMG reunions, i had my last year before i feel pregnant so was very happy indeed that i was looking ok cause i was so scared to see some of the people. im glad i went though. Did you get numbers of the 2 people you saw? did you click again or had things changed between you guys? We had a baby market too but we slept in till 11 so missed out,.. OOPs.. hehe Yay on the clothes from target, i want to get some more wondersuits for K and also some singlet suits from bonds.
Caro: Sorry i have to read yours after i post.
Rachel: OMG i would be freaking out to, im glad things worked out in the end for you and I hope you can get your haircut this week too. Can your sister come to you??
Cass: I hope your feeling better soon, its not good that you arent feeling 100%. Good to hear Oskar is going well.
Jess: so cute about Gwen i sing alot to Kaiden, he must think im crazy mama. I love Groove Armada and Jamiroquai so play that alot in my car.. i really should be playing baby stuff but oh well he will be a groover when he is a toddler.. hehe
Richelle: - EEK on chickenpox, its not your fault though you didnt know, the other mums cant blame you for it. Its lucky they caught it when they did otherwise things could have gotten worse.
:bedtime:
-
Caro: WOW just read your post. Yay to Michael feeling better thats fantastic news.
-
Sonia, wow well done on the job! Thats fantastic, adnd even better that they are flexible and let you choose your days. With expressing, I have been trying to express just a little bit each day as I *might* have a week or so of work sorted out next month, so I am trying to stock up! On the days you are working you can express when you'd normally feed, and then Kaiden can have it the next day that you are at work? Is he staying with your parents or a childcare centre? yeah, it was good to see the few people I actually wanted to catch up with at the reunion - it was like old times and we laughed about the horrid english teacher we had in year 9 who spat so much we needed an umbrella... though one person who I particularly wanted to see didnt show up :( I am guessing she couldnt be contacted, as she left in year 10 and moved house since, like I did, and they had trouble finding me. Wondersuits are great - I have several. Not for me, for Claire. DH doesnt like them as he cant get Claires hands through the cuffs. We had this great wondersuit with stretchy cuffs, but its too small now. Your photos came out well - Kaiden's such a cutie and you all look so happy. Was he happy or cranky for the photos? Its great that he's awake for most of them, lol. I love the one of him lying down and you're kissing his cheek and he's smiling. Its one of the ones towards the end of the list. Sooo cute. Theyre all great shots.
I just cannot sleep tonight. Its terrible. Claires been doing longer sleeps, which is great!!!.. I'm just not used to it. Its 1am, and we put her down to bed about 8 or 8:30pm. I have worked out the reason. Well actually my Mum told me... she told me to make Claires room warmer at night. Such a simple solution! But, it has been working. I've been putting the heater a bit warmer and putting her in a fleecy bag thing and she now sleeps longer. Why couldnt I think of that myself earlier?! I think the room is 23 degrees now. Previsouly it was about 20 or 21, so not much difference really.
Still trying to convince hubby that he should change nappies occassionally. He will be holding Claire and we'll both hear her do a monsterous poo (dont they do such funny faces when doing poo!), and then he'll tell me she needs to be changed, or will give her to me (think that Babylove nappy ad) or sometimes he wont tell me and will just put her in bed with a full nappy.. um, cant you change her? So she ends up being in a full nappy for ages because he'll just put her in her bed without changing her, then she fills up her nappy even more (as they do), and then he wonders why her nappies leak. hmmm MEN! She is also getting bad bum rash, but the Curash cream helps that. Now, if she didnt have a wet bum for long times, there would be less bum rash! I have some educating to do I think lol.
omg I am getting random let downs right now. Does this happen to anyone else? Just really random times?
Can I also ask - did anyone else get the line on their tummy while pregnant and is it still there? I got it and its still there. Not as dark, but still very much there. Anyone else?
ok well, goodnight all.
-
Richelle, I hope you get through chickenpox without too much of a problem. She should start to feel not as bad in the next few days though.
Karina, I still have the line.
What I was actually just quickly popping in to let you all know is that Supa IGA stores... now I can't be sure if this is only QLD or if it's Aust wide... not even sure if they are Aust wide... but anyway, they have the bulk box of Huggies nappies on sale for $29.95 at the moment.
Later all you lovely mummies and bubs, gotta go and feed my little man... AGAIN..lol.
-
Good Morning
Karina:- Yep i can express while at work, i have some already in the freezer i have six 180ml cups at the moment and i have a week and half before i start so will do a cup or two everyday so stock up some more the only problem is that he is still feeding every 2hrs so that means about 4 bottles a day and thats a lot so will have to keep expressing everyday which can get a bit annoying at times. My mum and DH mum will do the days im working so i dont have to worry abut daycarwhich is great. bummer about the friend you wanted to see. Have you tried schoolfriends website? I know the photo your talking about, i love it to. so many i want to get printed. what time did you get to sleep?
OMG on hubby not changing nappies.. i would be telling him a few words if i was you.. why doesnt he want to change them???? I still hae the line on my tummy its slowly fading though.
-
Thanks Caro.
I know so many photos to go through to choose.
Its a sister of one of the girls i go swimming with at SJOG Murdoch, she came to our place for $100 sitting fee then each size print has different costs... i am getting 3 of them put on canvas so will be a little more expensive for those ones.
Kaiden is also in infant size and im not happy about them coming in the bags and not the boxes, huggies knows how to rip you off thats for sure.
-
Hi all,
wow I can't keep up with you all!
Congratulations Sonia on the job! Great that you don't have to do daycare, I'm waiting to hear back from two places if they have room for Sebastian for when I start at the end of July, so fingers crossed. Photos are just gorgeous! What beautiful eyes he has!
Caro, so good to hear that Michael is doing better. What a legend that pharmacist is!
Karina, bummer that your DH won't change the nappies, perhaps if you mention to him (subtly?!) that it will make her nappy rash worse? I still have the line quite dark, I guess it will go away eventually.
Richelle, bummer re the chicken pox! I guess you won't need the vaccination now!
Cass (ozzie), I know what you mean, S is much better about occupying himself for a few minutes while I go to the loo or whatever. Sometimes he still wakes up and he's upset, but I just go up to him and hold his hands and stroke his head and he's fine again. We have some great "chats" - he never shuts up! Hope you're feeling much better now and back to health.
Jessica, S loves singing too. He seems to have some favourite songs but he'll pretty much jig along to anything!
Rachel, S had one of those meltdowns a while ago, wouldn't feed, just screamed and screamed. I think it must have been some very painful wind that wouldn't shift, after about 45 minutes he stopped and fell asleep. Hasn't done it since, so hopefully it's a one-off for you too! Bummer on the haircut, hope you get it done soon.
Was supposed to go to Mothers' group today but have this stupid cold, it's not too bad, but I don't want to spread it around. We spent today at home and tomorrow we're going to school to meet up with my friend whose classes I'll be taking next term. Just had an email from him saying that the deputy principal wants to have a meeting beforehand, that's a bit scarey! I mean, I know him quite well, but you know, it's all very official. And because S will be coming along too, hopefully he doesn't get tetchy! I'll take both pram and HAB I think, just in case...
-
Hello just quickly popping in to say hi, this business thing is really taking up a lot of time but it is heaps of fun! We are up and running with a few lines already however if you girls want to order something email me at sales@nappybucket.com and you can pay via credit card or paypal on email as I will give you a 10% discount and haven't set that feature up at the store yet.
Ari is doing well, pushing up nice and high on her arms and trying so hard to roll. Good to hear everyones babies are doing well
Rachel - oh hope Grace is feeling better, Ari has been fussing like that and we put it down to her teeth moving around.
Sonia - wohoo on the job, with the expressing you might like to look into hiring a double electric from ABA that way you express both sides every four hours instead of one side every two and it's a lot quicker. Apparetly you can express handsfree with them as well although I don't know how comfortable that would be.
Karina - Oh I hope DH gets over that soon, that's one thing my DH aually does :-) My line has nearly gone but I still have the pigmentation on my face
Richelle - hopeyour little bubba is feeling better soon.
Caro - Glad to hear Michael is doing well
-
Sarah, yay on the nappy business, thats fabulous news. Is you website up yet?
Sasha, hope your meeting for your job goes well. It might be just an informal thing so they can meet you and give you a quick breifing or something. I'm sure you'll be fine. Hope your cold goes away soon.
I was so excited today!! I gave Claire some tummy time and she pushed up on her arms and pushed herself over onto her back and then laughed. She did it a couple of times. So proud of her! It was so cute. Yay! Shes now started chatting to us too.
In a couple weeks, our mothers group is going to have a bbq on the weekend so the Dads came come too and meet each other. Should be good.
and... omg... Claire slept from 11pm to 8 am !! I had to get up at 3am to express though as I was so full that I was leaking and my breasts were like rocks and it was damn uncomfortable!! lol. But I was so proud of her for sleeping all the way through the night!
-
OMG - I can't keep up with you girls! I will try to write as much as possible but I expect grace to wake up anytime, she is in my arms asleep- so cute!
We've been good. Grace is liking tummy time more and more. She too is working on rolling from her back. She's almost got it, gets herself so frustrated when she can't do it! Grace slept from 6.15pm to 5.30am last night! She started to make noises at 3.30am so i jumped up to get to her so she didn't wake DH and she was still asleep just restless, so i gave her the dummy and she went back to proper sleep. Then we slept in our bed from 7am to 8.30am as dh had gone to work, i love this part of motherhood, don't you! i love it how she needs me and wants me and i can settle her when no one else can. it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside! Getting ready for this trip is taking up all of my spare time. I've also been organising a photo board for F-I-Ls 60th birthday which is today - very time consuming. I used TEDS online to order prints last night then went and picked them up today - so easy and 16c cheaper per photo than if you go instore. they will deliver the photo's too if you want too. getting my haircut tonight - yay! sister is coming here - i'm cooking dinner she's cutting hair - fair deal!
Richelle - bummer about chicken pox. hope it clears up soon.
Karina - yay on long sleep. yep, the only downside of longer sleeps is painful full boobies! Wow, that is great that claire rolled - you must be so proud. that bbq idea sounds good. one mum in our group doesn't have a partner, do you think she would feels funny if we did that too? I would definitely be sorting that behaviour out in your DH now! I understand (although don't agree) that some dads won't change nappies but to purposely leave a dirty nappy on - that's horrible. ask him if he would like to sit in his poo!
Sarah - what lines are you selling already? got my BBH the other day - haven't tried them yet though.
Sonia - CONGRATULATIONS!!! love the photo's. we really want to get some done too.
Bec - hope your cold clears up. hope the meeting is ok.
Oops, someones awake...
-
Karina - wow on the rolling over! Ari is trying so hard and woohoo on the sleep. I am just please Ari is going to bed at 8:30 and not stiring every 5 min :-)
Rachel - what a lovely idea for your FIL birthday, will have to check out TEDS as my mum and MIL like prints.
Yes our website is now up and running at nappybucket.com and so far we are stocking Natural baby company, Motherease, Imse Vimse Jamtots (berry plush and baby kanga) we are still waiting to hear form the main US suppliers and BBH (she is in Townsville so I'm hoping she will let me distribute) we are having a stall at the baby expo here in Townsville on the weekend so will be very busy for the next few days
-
Hi everyone! Sorry, it's been a while, we have been away.
Sonia - I can not believe this, I just clicked on your photo's and when I saw you and Mark, I was so surprized! I used to go out with Paul Biancuzzo and I was at your wedding with him!! What a small world. I wondered if it could have been you when you said you lived south of the river. Click on Jo & Keyt and you will see our pics. If you want to email me - keytandjo@iinet.net.au
Oh, gorgeous pics by the way! Kaiden is beautiful.
-
OMG... OMG OMG..
Jo.. how are you honey... jesus.. cant believe it.. what a small world perth is.
I still see Pauly, he is living in Success with his girlfriend.
I will email you at your home email.
-
Wow, it really is a small world!
Off to Adelaide tomorrow so won't be online for a week. Hope everyone has a good week. I just hope we have a good night as not looking forward to long drive. Take care.
-
-
hi girls
well Kailee survived the chicken pox with only about 15 spots so was a very mild case!
but now the girl is wanting food, not bottle and of course i can't even think about starting her for another 5 weeks minimum so we are having lots of fights to try and get her to drink the bottle! Is anyone else having problems with bubs not being interested in drinking and just playing with it? It took me an hour and a half for her to have a bottle because she didn't want it tonight.
-
Richelle - Poor Kailee! I can't imagine dealing with chicken pox with a baby so young. Jas was 4 when she got them (and I got them then too!) and that was horrible as she was so sick! I am glad to hear Kailee is ok now. With the feeds, sometimes Nicholas can take forever to have a bottle. I just wait a while and then try to give him the rest about half an hour later. Sometimes he fusses around with it a lot, but I think that may be due to his reflux as sometimes swallowing may be uncomfortable for him. My MIL suggested giving him solids already, but I am definitlely waiting until 5 - 6 months.
-
Richelle Kaiden takes milk no mater how it comes he isnt fussy with his food so we are pretty lucky. Im sure Kailee will settle soon, speak to ABA or your health nurse..
-
Sarah, unfortunately Claires big sleep was a one off :( Back to the feeding every 2-3 hours overnight. IKWYM about being excited when she doesnt stir every 5 minutes though lol. Hope your stall runs smoothly at the baby expo.
Rachel, i hope adelaide is great and the drive is not too horrid. I couldnt imagine doing a long drive like that right now lol.
Richelle, poor little Kailee :( glad the chicken pox werent too bad for her though but still theyre never pleasant are they. hmm no Claire is still loving booby and bottle though yes she does play with boob sometimes , or gets really fussy with it (she'll normally take bottle straight away though, but she doesnt have bottle often). Sorry i cant remeber if you breast feed or formula feed? Anyway just wanted to say that yes Claire likes playing with it too. She puts her mouth near boob then licks or moves her head back and forth, and also looks in the other direction (distracted maybe?). Its so annoying. When she is like that, it takes a number of attempts before she will feed properly. I just have to put her down in her bed and try again later and after a while she will finally have a proper feed.
Went to the health centre today to weigh Claire and she is now 4.9kg. porker!
I had to go out today and get one of the tyres on my car fixed (they fixed for free and told me to "go get something nice for the baby instead", lol) Anyhow, I saw another baby there (10 weeks). So cute, but much bigger than Claire. Its interesting how some babies grow long and some grow wide. Claire is long.
ok wierd question: does anyone elses baby do green poos, or is my baby wierd?
thanks for listening. :)
-
Karina - Claire is not weired, Nicholas does green poos too! Quite normal according to my CHN.
-
Hello, OMG poor Ari has been unsettled today. It seems she is going to be lke her big brother when it comes to eeth, she just keeps crying out in pain, even during feeds. Went and got some bonjela today, hope it helps.
Karina - I think I heard green poos means too much fore millk? Check with ABA but to boost your hindmilk put her on the same boob for two feeds in a row for a day or two.
Richelle - Ari sometimes plays aroun when she is on the boob, even talks with her mouth full it cracks me up :-) It is much bettr if you can hold of on the soilds until 6mth as their gut isn't fully mature until then.
-
Oskar plays around sometimes too and if I take him off he cracks it...lol. He talks with his mouth full too and looks up at me and grins, so funny! I won't be putting Oskar on solids till 6 months. A baby will not starve themselves though, so don't worry about that. Maybe Kailee is still getting back to herself and just isn't too interested in eating much yet.
He's started to laugh this week which is so adorable!! All 3 times have been at his dad (I laugh when I look at him too...lol)...one time Andy coughed and Oskar thought it was hillarious and then last night Andy was in the shower and I took Oskar in and had him peeking around the corner into the shower and he just started laughing at who knows what but I was in hysterics cos he sounds so cute and he was just laughing and laughing!
On the lovely subject of poo.. Oskar does green ones sometimes too, but I thought it seemed to be when I had eaten a fair amount of chocolate?? Maybe I'll run a little experiment...lol...poor me having to eat chocolate to check it out!!!
Better go cos I have to get a scan done this morning and I have to get dressed and everything yet...love being in my jimjams but can't go like that!! Have a great weekend and shall speak to you soon.
-
Cass, how cute that Oskar is laughing! Claire has started laughing too. I think its hilarious! But unfortunately she only does it when DH is not around so he hasnth eard her laugh yet.
We,ve decided that we are going to buy a sleeping bag for Claire, like a Grobag or something simialr. She always wiggles out of her wrap and kicks the sheet off her and ends up cold.. its very exciting to buy another item for her!
-
Karina - I put Nicholas in a sleeping bag now as he always unwraps himself and gets cold too. Are the grow bags the ones with no arms? I think this might be better so their hands don't get cold. I will have to check these out.
Cass - How cute! Nicholas has started to laugh a bit now too. He cracked up yesterday at a girl I was showing through our house (to rent it out). I don't know what it was, but he really giggled at her.
Caro - I was just reading iin the colic/reflux/teething threads that you have found a colic/reflux natural remedy from a chemist. What is it called? And have you found that it is working for Michael? I find the Losec works fine, but just the last week we have seen a bit of a drop in its effectiveness. I saw that Scarlett mentioned this happens with the compound.
-
:hello: Girls
Down at Bridgetown (3hrs south of perth) for the long weekend, on my friends laptop so thought i would pop in to say hello.
Kaiden has also green poos mostly pumpkin colour ones though.
He has been so good this long weekend, feeding, sleeping and laughing.. such a good boy for mummy, im very proud.
I gave him some formula for the first time lastnight as i had two glasses of wine, wasnt sure if i was going to have any more than that so thought i better be safe, he loved it, and didnt even have any reflux after so im guessing the flow from my boobs is just way to quick for him and that is what is causing his spewing /reflux,poor little fellow.Back on the boob though thisw morning when i go back to work i think i will give him one bottle of formula out of the 3 feeds he will miss.
Thank you all for your congratulations on my job.,
I must go and be social.
Love Son
xx
-
Jo, yeah the grobags are the armless ones. Theyre like a singlet on the top half and the bag for the bottom half.
Sonia yay about Kaiden being such a good little boy! And yay that he likes formula too.
I am confused. I posted some photos of Claire to my dad and he sent them back. He must have thought they were not for him to keep, even though I told him they were for him to keep. I thought he would want to keep them because he kept on asking my mum for them. wierd man.
Other than that Claire is doing fabulous today. I went out for a few hours so spent the day with her daddy. She is looking so much like him.
Who do your babies look more like - you or their dad?
-
Hi girls, just ducking in before I go to bed - we have a public holiday here tomorrow so I could stay up but I find it just makes me more tired... S doesn't change his routine for the weekends or holidays so I would just end up having to wake up at normal time anyway (and then feel really tired all day!)
He's not laughing yet - although he might have had a chuckle the other day but I couldn't be sure. Can't wait! Smiling loads though.
Sarah, have checked out your site and will hopefully be able to order some nappies from you within the next two weeks. Are you going to stock bumgenius AIOs? I got one last week and it is brilliant, I love it! But I've got a pocket change one and will probably order some of those from you anyway. I'll let you know - hope business is booming!
Well, starting to flag a bit so it's off to bed! Have a good week everyone :)
-
hey everyone
Karina - Kailee plays with it the same way you said Claire does, she just gnaws on the top of the teat of smiles and talks mid feed before punching the bottle away!
It's so funny that you girls are saying bubs are porkers at 4.9kg and 5.15kg etc... Kailee now weighs 6.36kg! But then she started at 4.25kg! Thing is she still fits into 0000 clothes apart from them being 3/4 pants now instead of long pants!
I thought we had gotten over the chicken pox, but suddenly she has got spots again, and I can't tell if they are bites or not but don't want to rush off to the doctor and pay a fortune to be told its mozzie bites! Oh well, looks like I'm back under house arrest for the time being to be on the safe side!
Well better go get the bottles washed and sterilised now she is asleep.
-
Hello, just popping in to say hi, had a HUGE weekend at the baby expo - have to order more stock already! Poor Ari is having a rough time, not sure why and DS is sooooo tired from being at the expo all weekend and DH is about to start 17day straight yuck!
Got ari's 3mth paed appoint this Friday, she has a little bit of a turned eye so hopefully we can make sure it's nothing.
Richelle - Ari is a poker too she hit 6 kg at 10wks, I shudder to think what she weighs now.
Sasha - We have just got Bumgenius online so it will be about 2wks before I get stock in
Caro - I hope you get a nice Paed
Cass - I have lost your address and DH won't get off the computer so I can get your email - bloody World of Warcraft! I have something here for you and Oskar could you email me at sales@nappybucket.com
-
Hello Everyone!
I havent posted in a LONG time but i have been reading along every so often to see how you all are (even though its hard to keep up sometimes as you all "chat" soo much!). Nice to see all is going well with you all and all the little bubbas.
Emily is doing well, sleeps through from 10.30pm - 6.30, 7am, she's just gotten over a cold but otherwise all good.
Must be off to bed now,
Take care.
-
Shell so good to hear from you, pleased to hear there is another night owl around Ari didn't go off until 9:30 tonight.
Finally finished fluffing with my site and computer went blah and lost it all :-( Off to bed now
-
It is so hard to keep up with everything if you don't try to get on every day!! lol.
It's great everyone sounds like they're doing well.
Richelle, how's Kailee? Has she still got the spots or did they turn out to be mozzie bites or something?? I am so over cautious at times...lol..I'll see a spot or something on Oskar and get Andy to inspect it as well cos I'm like...omg what is this!!
Sarah, I just emailed you... twice actually...lol.
I was at the shops yesterday and Oskar was in his capsule on the end of the trolley. I was putting the shopping into the boot and he was watching and then when I closed the boot he found it very amusing and laughed at it!! I am unsure if it was the noise it makes or what but he thought it was funny and so then I laughed cos it was funny that he was laughing at something which didn't seem funny to me... I don't think he associates what the laugh is yet though cos it's all very random still and only occasionally, but very definitely just a reaction. I can't wait till we can "make" him laugh!!
I got my hair done yesterday and he was soooo good. He got cuddles from the girls and LOVED that and even fell asleep oh and went 4 hours between his feeds... so he can do it but I think it's cos he was distracted and VERY tired so he slept through about 40 mins of that time...I feel heaps better having my hair done!! I highly recommend it to make you feel human again.
-
Hi everyone.
Cass - I am booking a hair appointment as I type! My hair is out of control at the moment, and the colour is SO boooring! Nicholas laughs at random things too, and I haven't been able to "make" him laugh as yet, but I am working on it.
Shell -WTG on the long sleep at night! I can't wait until Nicholas decides to do this. He still wakes at about 3am, but we will get there. He goes straight back to sleep after a feed, so I am usually only up for about half an hour with him, so it's not so bad.
Sarah - congrats on your success at the expo!
Richelle - I hope Kailee is getting better.

Oh we have had a huge couple of day Ari started rolling again (after stopping at about 7wks or so) and tonight she laughed, unfortunately it was while her brother was trying to read, luckily he didn't take it personally and thought she just liked the book.
We have finally had a cold snap tonight and now I don't have any cold clothes OMG, I just heard thunder!!!! I have not heard thunder in years!
Speaking of hair anyone else loosing it in clumps - it's so yuck.
oopps got to go

Hi all,
Sarah, I am losing hair too! and I have to get it cut, but it's just so expensive around here and we have been spending up a bit lately on stuff like cot and drawers etc plus have a few bills coming up so I'll put it off for a while I think.
S is sleeping in his cot for the first time tonight! But is still in our room with us... well, there's nowhere else for him to go! I just put him to bed as DH went to bed just now, I didn't want him to be all alone in the bedroom with it being his new bed and all. Today he freaked out a bit since the dog barked at something outside and he was fast asleep, and it woke him, he screamed his head off and I came over to pick him up and he was almost rigid, he was so frightened. We had a cuddle and then I brought him round to face me and made happy faces and smiled a lot at him and he calmed down. Poor baby, he must have had such a shock!
Caro, checked out your photos - Courtney is such a cutie in her little dress! How is she liking Michael now - getting more used to him?
Spoke to MIL the other day, they have just returned from Thailand and are coming to visit us towards the end of July. Looking forward to them seeing their first grandchild! Also it works out well because she said they will come at the end of the school holidays and then stay for about two weeks, so it means the first week of school I don't have to worry about S going into daycare, because M will take holidays and they can all look after him together. Makes me somewhat happier knowing that he will be spending one less week in daycare.
Anyway, had better go, sorry haven't replied to everyone, I'm so tired! Can't wait for the weekend to sleep in a bit (we get up at 5 for DH's work and right now it's a bit of a struggle!)

Sarah, YES I am loosing hair in huge clumps. I was just about to ask the exact same question. I feel like I am going bald and I need to vacuum ever day because of my huge clumps of hair everywhere. Woohoo on the rolling and laughing! How cute!
Cass, how cute about Oskars laughing. Its so sweet isnt it. Claire laughs when I bath her.
Shell good to hear from you! Yay that everything is going well!
omg Claire has been so feral the last few days. Cant handle much more of this. She'll scream for 2 hours then sleep for 1.. and so on. I have no idea whats going on :(
