Wooohooo I'm first for a change!!

Well not much to say, same stuff different day....Lily has slept ok today, she's had two forty min sleeps. No matter how hard I try though she will not sleeo through one sleep cycle, even though she's still yawning after her cat nap. We were up at 5:30 again, but with only one wake up in the middle so I don't know whats better, getting up twice in the night and sleeping til 7ish or getting up once and being up at 5:30.... She's been eating every two- two and a half hours today for some reason since 3:00 this morning, but only about 100ml, rather than the usual 150ml or so.

It's a very wet and miserably cold day here in sydney, and I have sooo much washing to do. I have no more pj's to wear and no comfy trackies to wear instead.... I will have to raid DH's wrdrobe. That will be attractive, me in his clothes, he's 105kg!! LOL!

Ok gotta go, hope you are all well an warm!

    Kellie.

    Hi!

Not much from me...Dylans being a little terror with daytime napping as well but luckily is ok overnight. Although he's usually a bit unsettled after his early am feed and I end up at some point bringing him into bed with me to try and get a bit more sleep. Although last night he went 8 hours then 4 1/2 so thats good!
Went to the gym again this morning - nearly had a heart attack! LOL! It's so good though...although I haven't lost all of my weight I'm feeling a lot better so thats good!

Melissa - Thanks...sorry can't remember all your post it was on the other page...

Kel - Bugger at being up at 5.30am! I just won't do it - never did with Louis either...if they wake up that early I treat it as a night feed and just put them back to sleep...Louis has only once every woken up that early and I couldn't get him back to sleep! In fact I refuse to get up before 7am! hehehe. Louis went through a stage of 6.30am wake ups but that was just too early! hehehe.
It's so hard to get everything dry in winter - I have a clothes horse over our ducted heating vent and then I go around to all the other vents and put single items of clothes over all the other vents! hehehe. So our house looks like a mess but at least everything gets dry!

    Chat later!

This is from the last thread... i spent ages on it, so i thought i wont waste it...lol

    Good Morning,
I actually got a reasonably good night sleep last night... Olivia slept from 1030pm til 230am, fed, slept from 3am woke briefly but settled til 530am and is now asleep... I will be going back to bed as DH just left for work and its cold, but I thought I would pop in seeing i have free hands

    Kristie, Dylan is just georgeous

To all those who are still b/fing, well done, you're really doing well despite the issues you are having. Cherie good luck on weaning him off if thats what you choose to do. I remember doing that (actually it wasnt weaning but stopping after mastitis and attatchment issues). It hurt a little as my bbs were full, but after a few days it settled. I still have a little milk after 6 weeks of not b/fing....so Adam told me after dtd!!!

Danni, great news on the reflux. I didnt realise it could come and go that quickly, but you must be relieved.

Hey Kel, isnt it hard when the are awake all day... nothing gets done, but I guess at least you get a good night sleep too!! I'm sorry to hear that Lily is screaming after a b/f, sounds like reflux to me if shes doing ok on the thickened formula, but I'm no expert. Good Luck.

Krysalyss-wow on Iggys weight gain. Would be lovely to have a big cuddly baby- small cuddly babies are good too!!!! (Olivias small, lol)

Hi Caro, sounds like Michaels doing ok. Hope you are well

MMM, I think I did personals for everyone on this page. Hi to Deb and everyone else I have missed....sorry bad memory!

We have our 5 week ultrasound today at 3pm, so am very excited/apprehensive. Hopefully we get an idea if the harness has to stay or go. Think I would be better prepared if I found out today that it needs to stay on as opposed to next week at the specialist review coz Adam wont be coming. Hes having an echocardiogram at the same time....to make sure his heart is ok after last weekends scare...
Well, am off this time, dont want to waste precious minutes being awake, when I should be sleeping
Love to you all and kisses to bubs,
    Melissa

    Good morning everyone,

Well, we had a wonderful night after an unsettled day yesterday. Lily slept from 6:30 last night to 6:30 this morning, with only two wake ups! Just like an 8 1/2 week old baby should!! And now she's asleep again.....I feel like a new woman, LOL!
She was unsettled yesterday though and I really think that she has reflux. She's showing most symptoms, so it will be off to the Dr. on Monday. I still have to have my check up too, so we'll both go.

Kristie, I wish it was as easy as me refusing to get up at 5:30, unfortunately my little maddam has other ideas and refuses to go back down, even sleeping with me. She will yabber away for about 5mins then get cranky and cry, so we have to get up, especially if my DH has to work or has done a night shift.
I have a gas heater and I try to put things infront of it on the airer, but the bigger things get stinky if I do that, so I can't do things like jeans and alot of my DH's stuff. Plus we don't have it on until the late arvo usually and our unit gets musty if I put things inside without it on...I will be going to mums to use her dryer today. I have no clothes left to wear and it's supposed to rain for the week here.

Melissa, no I don't get much done with Lily awake for most of the day, my expectations of how my house should look have dropped considerably, mind you it drives me nuts, but there's nnot much I can do about it!
That's great that the harness is working for Olivia, I hope it can come off soon.

Caro, I'm sorry that Michael is sick again, I hoep it all settles down again soon. Just hen you thought it was all good.... it happens to me too!

    Ok I'm being beckoned...

    Kel.

    Hi!

Had a bit of a rough night - Dylan was about how he normally is but dh and I had an argument right before bed which made me anxious enough to have trouble sleeping. I was so upset because for once I was relaxed and looking forward to sleep and then to have an argument right before just mucked me right up. It wasn't over anything important either - he just doesn't understand what sleep means to us deprived mothers!! Hopefully he'll make up for it and give me a sleep in tomorrow morning...right now he's still asleep!!

Caro - LOL! You certainly can post! hehehe.

Danni - Glad it all went well! Wow...a commercial would be awesome!!

Iona - Thats great he coped so well with his needles

Kel - Hopefully she just had a bit of an upset tummy for the day and doesn't have reflux! Glad you had a good night! Hopefully she keeps it up! At least you can use your mums dryer!

    Gotta run...

    Hi Ladies

Sorry I have not posted for so long. I hope all the bubbas are doing well and the mummas too!

Danni, just caught the end of a conversation but are you looking at getting some modeling for Mason? How do you go about that?

As for us, well Rhys is getting into a routine. He sleeps from 10pm to about 2:30 or 3:30am then wakes at about 5:3oam when DH leaves. He cluster feeds in the morning and during the day only has a sleep longer than 20 mins if he is in the car or baby bjorn. He has a good sleep at night after tea, so basically my DH just thinks he is a good little man!

He is certainly better than my neice born 11 days before him. She has colic and reflux and is giving her mum a hard time.

I am hoping to take Rhys to Adelaide in August to meet his grandparents. That should be an adventure!

    Take care lovely ladies

    Hi!

Dee - Glad things are going well! You sound well! Re: the modelling - you just need to find a reputable agent...don't pay too much money! The one Danni and I are with only charges $140 for the year and you don't have to pay for photos you just submit your own...

Louis and Dylan just had their first bath together! Sooo cute! I've updated my ticker again but it's not showing up yet...the other one took a day as well hopefully by the time some of you read it it will be up!

yep dee thats right. I actually paid $200 kristie, the price went up. But still worth it i reckon

love the pic...i cant believe how much he smiles!

Ok i can FINALLY say Mason has a night time routine. He will sleep for 6 or 7 hours at night, then feed ALWAYS at 3:30am, then straight back down to 7:30am.
during the day will not sleep for longer than 20 mins unless he is in the pram or in the c ar.

im so glad im not the only one with a non-day sleeper.

today we are off to get some professional family photos. I pray there are some nice ones. I am really self concious since I am not pregnant anymore. I am much thinner than before pregnancy but I miss my bump....I always felt beautiful then

    Hi!

Danni - Thanks - wow at the price going up by sooo much! I'm not sure if we'll renew Louis anyway...an awful lot of money and we got his target catalogue so thats really all I wanted...we shall see! I mean, he only made $65 or so for it so it's not even like he's making more than what I've paid...(not that I get my money back - it goes into his bank account!)
Have fun getting your photos taken!!

Hi everyone. Hope you all had a great weekend! Ours was just average. I went to a workshop on Saturday and DH looked after little Iggy. It was such a good workshop although I missed my boys. We were just doing some tummy time and Iggy did his very first roll over from front to back. He just needed the tiniest bit of help but we are so proud. Isn't it weird how they will just all of a sudden do something new. You don't even see it coming or them practicing. Its like a little light suddenly goes off. Anyway hope you are all great!

    Hello ladies

I had a weird experience last night. Rhys slept from 9:30pm to 4:30am (2 hours later than normal) fed for 20 mins and then I had to wake him at 7:30am! He did have a marathon feeding session yesterday afternoon but it freaked me out.

Danni, Rhys is like Mason. Sleeps a lot at night then during the day only when he is in the baby bjorn or car.

This Thursday we have his 8 weeks immunizations- not looking forward to that!

    Take care ladies

    Hi everyone,

Well, we have had a very busy day today. We went to see a friend this morning, had lunch there and then went grocery shopping. Lily has been such agood girl, though she's unsettled now. I think she's got reflux. I'm going to the doctor about it tomorrow. We also have immunisaitions tomorrow morning, so another busy day. I'm going to talk to the dr about trying to bf Lil again. I emailed the aba yesterday and will call the lc I saw when I got out of hospital too.
Ok gotta save DH from Lily!
