LMK- I have been looking for SM33- used with with DS but it seems around here all i can find is bonjella and the curash brand 1. will keep looking though i know its great... Also wuth the ears pierced. I'm wanting to get DD done but am waiting till 6 months i think. i heard its best to get them done early as they dont tug on them but i have seen a bubs get done and the noise of the gun scared her and she jumped and it got the lip of the lobe and jammed the gun and ended up riping her ear when they tried to get the gun off... I still see imagies in my head... I'm sure thou if you go to a professional person the job would be good. my DP is the opposite he doesnt want it done til she's much older...

Glad things are going ok with you... Its weird how bright their cheecks get when their teething. DD go so bright they look like there glowing red.

Abb- i was told honey or gliserine but my mum used this and my sis's teeth cam in rotten. (although she did seem to use it alot. (as my lil sis was a screamer.) was thinking maybe if i start using the breast shields again she may get used to the feel of the silicone and may help her accept a botle or dummy. have tried the silicone and the latex and wont take either.

Jess yeah i was told 6 months too,i am just worried that she will cry for a long time. I think is a good idea cause whe they get older they will play with them and pull them and make them infected, but as they are young now they don't know where to pain is so they will just leave them alone. Not sure its a big decision

if you can't find the gel just let me know maybe i can send you some in the mail cause the chemist near me always has it just let me know if you can't find it. It is my saviour sometimes. Good luck

lmk- ikwum i'm worried bout her crying also... i hate needles and she has to have them... i think 6 months is when we might get her's done... i'd rather get them done when she cant touch them.... my chemist here is fairly good at ordering things in... i just havent asked them... i was told bonjella the the other 1 were the same but they dont seem to work much so will see if they can get some in for me... thank for the offer... if i have trouble i'll let u know.. alwso i also saw the new thread... its weied... i joined up last yr in Oct... so its almost been a yr since i've been a member... time flies...

Anyone else planing another yet??? lol

Nicci- Yeah i would love more. Even though my DS is a handful i couldnt imagine stopping just yet. I'd like to have 1 more (maybe 2 more.. hehehehe... i know crazy)

It just depends on how DD goes. I guess if she keeps being a handful then i may reconsider... hahaha....

My DP was always apprehensive at first about having #2 until i had issues TTC then we talked and he said he's love a big fam... We then fell preggas with DD and he still would like another (but just not yet) ... I'm a bit worried as i was getting AF every 2 weeks but havent in 4 weeks... ARRRGGGHHH i'm just hoping things are just back to normal i think i couldnt handle being preggas just yet...maybe another 12 months time perhaps... everyone keep their fingers crossed i'm not just yet...

SO Abbie is your last end of story or mite there be a glint of hope for #4???

    Thumbs down

Well DH asked if i wanted one more and i would love another girl but abbie was really stressed in labour and nearly went for a emergency cs and i had problems too, so i think
it was someones way of saying no more. I am very happy with the three have. Atleast if you were pregnant you do want more so it would not be that bad, good fingers crossed you arent just yet.

lol LMK my sister said that after having her 3 boys and then she went on to have 2 more and all boys. I guess your lucky you have your girl.

We are undecided on having anymore, will just wait and see although i think if i was to have another it would be soon as i am 35 now, dont want to be an old grump with little kids.lol

On the ear piercing i had my dd's done when she was 3 and i can still remember her she sat up on the chair nad they did both ears at once she didnt even budge, and as we were leaving she said that didn't hurt can i get one in my belly next time like aunty amy, the chemist looked at me and couldnt help but laugh it was very amusing. She wasnt shy and came out with the most funny things.

abb yes i am very lucky i had a girl, we actually tried for a girl, like at the right time of the month correct position, so i am lucky it worked for me, i can not imagine what 5 boys would be like, my boys are actually getting along really well i am lucky, lachlan is just getting old enough to play with cody and not try and take everything off him.

Nikki- wasnt aware you had complications with Abbie. I guess if i had complications i would reconsider. People keep saying were luck we have the "pigeon pair" i really hate that. MIL seems to think cos we have 1 of each that we shouldnt have anymore. i dont see my fam anymore so i'd like to have a big family of my own. I never really cared what gender the kids would be. but its nice having a girl after my son. Also having 2 boys must come in handy thou... at least they can play together and with the same kind of toys. we had to buy all different things for DD.

Abb- WOW at 5 boys...i have 3 sisters. so i know what its like. My parent tried for the boy but didnt happen. not thatthey were any less thrilled over my sister. i think you just have to do what feels right for you. I dont seem to feel fulfilled just yet. maybe after #3 i might decide 4's out of the question also. its tough having lots of kids.

I have 3 sisters and 1 brother, in total we have 13 kids amongst us so i am use to big familys, in the 13 there are only 3 girls. I think i would like another one, as i always wanted dd to have a playmate but she had to wait 12 years.lol Wont make hamish wait that long.

    Hi All

There is always so many posts to read when I've missed a day, it takes a while to catch up.

Taking things day by day with the feeding, and trying not to worry about it. For the last couple of days I have just alternated with breast feeding and express bottle feeding (as sometimes I've felt deflated - and want to make sure Cameron gets enough). We also only do 5 feeds a day, for the last 3 weeks or so it has been pretty much 7am, 10, 1, 4.30 and 8pm. But first and middle feeds are usually bigs one and the last feed we do a rather big bottle.

On the ear piercing, I had this discussion the other day, for one day hopefully when we have a girl. My friend had her daughters done at 1 year, and it seemed to go ok, so I would probably do that to if I had a girl, for her 1st birthday. I had mine done when I was 3 and it took me a while to have my second ones done - as i was scared (as I remembering it hurting). But not against having them done at 6 months either, I'm just a chicken when it comes to needles and things that might hurt. Will probably have to get my husband or mum to take her. I have decided though that Cameron can have his done as soon as he asks (even if he is 2 or 3 years old), as my husband, dad and brother all have theres done - it's kinda the thing for boys to have there left ear pierced in our family.

On having more children, I will definitely want more (would love a girl). It took us 3 long years to conceive Cameron (eventually through insemination), that we are not even bothered to take any precautions. Who knows I may even be pregnant now (it is possible), have not had a visit from AF yet. I would prefer a bit more of a gap, but if its meant to be it is meant to be.

On the teething thing, do they nessarily dribble more. I've been getting a feeling Cameron is starting to teeth, as he has had occassional grumpy for no known reason lately and has got rosy cheeks most of the time. He also constanting is gnawing on his fingers and seems to chomp on my finger when I put it on his gums, but he is not drooling as much as I thought they usually do.

It funny to think that for me this time last year I was still getting over another negative pregnancy result and yet it was also the beginning of the Cameron journey.

Well better go, Cameron has just woken. Not sure I'll be back for a few days (so I'll have even more to catch up on I'm sure). Will be busy day this arvo and tomorrow (need to get myself all pretty this arvo as it is my birthday tomorrow and will be going over to a friends for morning tea and lunch, then out for dinner at my favourite seafood restraurant).

    Bye for now

    Bec7- happy b'day for 2moz...
This time last yr we were thinking that the med s hadnt worked and we'd need to look into other ways to get preg... I had/have poly cystic ovaries and never got AF for 2 yrs. i'm on the mini pill only becausse i'd rather have a bit more of a gap and concentrate on DD for a bit. but within 12 months i hope to be planning #3.

also with the dribbling... My DS and DD are both major dribblers. But i dont think all kids dribble when teething. i read that some kids dont get any issues at all and the teeth just appear without any real trouble. Also My DP has his ear peirced... My MIL would kill me if DS got his done but like you if he wanted it i'd let him i guess... Actually been looking round for DD 1st pair of earings.. I want little butterflies but cant find any

Abb- i have a 25 yr old sis, me 24 an 18 yr old and a 9 yr old. i know what its like to have a big gap... I was in Yr 10 when my lil sis was born... everyone though i had a baby... i was off ill with phnemonia (spl) then had schol holidays and when i came back my mum had my sister... I was a bit chubby and after being sick i lost alot of weight... needless to say teachers and student thought she was mine when i brought her in (we lived at the back of the school)

holy doly u girls can talk lol.

i am just goign to write in general i just read through so much and cant remember who said wat lol.

Ears: i was thinkin the other day about gettin jaydas done but DH was like no not until she wants them, said its not fair to get them done when she might not want them done later.

more kids: i want another. we had orignally said that we would wait until jayda was about 4 because we both have 4yr gaps with our siblings but i am thinking in a yr lol.
I guess when i really think about it i have just paid heaps and doing it tough to get this weight off so i would want some time to flaunt my new body before i fat it up again lol.

somethign said about someones bub saying dad. is this early? i have no idea about ages for all these things i am always asking everyone lol. last night i was in teh bath with DD and i yelled out daddy come get bubby and i swear she said dad but i doubt it. lol ill just say she didnt and wait for mum hahahahahaha

last night she was on her belly and she kept kicking her legs moving her self forward and would look up at us with a really cheeky look. is there any chance she would crawl b4 sitting?
Anytime i put her on the floor or her mat she is straight on her belly she can gether hands out from under her now and in starting to move her hands alot more. i just cant wait till she can roll herself back over, im sick of her gettin cranky every few mins from being stuck lol

i think she might be a bit sick. she has had a snottie nose for the last week but it hasnt bothered her but last night she woke 3 times for a bottle and she has been really cranky today. might be a growth spirt not that i think of it. if she was sick she prob wouldnt want all her bottles let alone extra bottles.

lmk: when did u start back at work after u had bub? i am wishing i didnt go back early next time i am saving up and taking heaps of time off lol. all the kids love jayda and r so protective of her. do u still only have skool age. is it worth doing only b4 and after skool
wow i think i should write anovel next time lol.

Hey Sassy just a quick one i went back only after 2 weeks i think, but yes i do only have school age kids and i LOVE it. It is worth it but i do have an 8 seater car so i have 4 school kids plus one of them her mum works shift work so she sleeps over 3 nights a week so that gives me a bit more money. Have you thought about having a few school kids and only having say one day child for only a few days a week, it gives you a break during the day. I Hope that this helps you goodluck its so hard .

I thought it was a bit early to talk but every baby is so different
Also i put abbies dummy out infront of her this afternoon when i boys were outside and she was on her tummy i just went to check on them and came back and she had it so i think that she moved forward a bit as well. i want her to stay stil for a bit longer i don't need to be chasing her right now.

    Take care Nikki

    Hi mothers,

I've been so busy lately. I have not had the chance to come here or study since completing my assignments. My baby girl has been crying more than usual. She cries and cries and cries. Mothers with babies of 3 months, are mentioning teething and dribbling. I am already aware of my baby girl's dribbling, but teething? Is it possible, at 3 months?

    Afternoon Gals,

This cold sucks. I feel like crap. DS is all clogged up and green and poor DD is also clogged up and coughing as she's so congested. I have the vaporiser going and chest rubs, i had her in she shower with me yesterday arvo... just letting her breathe in the steam... Although there wasnt much as i didnt make it too hot. SHe loves a shower so much... Had a day out yesterday with a friend and her DS, and after a chat with the Ntropath at the chemist about DD's cold and what to give we got talking bout the reflux. She mentioned that zantac can affect the liver and i have decided to try the brauers stomach calm and colic relief( i brought the essentials pack) . After 2 doses yesterday and also the doses of cough relief(also brauers they have an offer with a free pain and fever relief also) she seemed to be doing ok. Today i have given her the stomach calm again before her feeds and she hasnt been screaming much... (a little sooky but no where near her usually scrwaming self... The test will be this arvo when she's at her worst... I'm hoping i'll be able to give the zantac away and stick to this. Also she suggested i take some inner health plus cos i'm BF it could help her.

I was worried about maybe being UTD... gosh DD is only 3 1/2 months... I've been getting AF every 2 weeks but havent in 4- 5 weeks... Did a HPT and it was negative... Hoping that its all just my body playing tricks... as much as i'd love another bubs i'm just to ready just yet... i want to enjoy my little girl and spend time with her. hoping to TTC in 12 months or so... phew... i just hope AF comes soon... (never thought i'd say that... HAHAHA) i think for my sanity and DP's that we'll have to use other methods just not the mini pill...

DD went from tummy to back yesterday at my friends. i wa shocked. hasnt done it since so i'm thinking its a 1 off for now. She's been so happy today, she just fell asleep playing on the matt (That has never happend)

Crap best be off, i sold some things on ebay and the guys here to pick it up

    Hi All,

Wow it's alot quieter then I expected in here, I thought it was going to take me ages to read the posts. Either everyone's been busy or we've become a bit shy after the comments about being very talkative bunch.

Jess - Thank's for the birthday wishes, I had a lovely day. Hung out at my friends house - who has a 6 month old daughter. I decided to take expressed bottles, so I could have a stress free day (which it was). Hope you all feel better soon. Yay on the negative HPT (if that's want you wanted of course). Guess you would never had thought you would be relieved not to be pregnant hey. Not sure how I'd be (who knows, might find out in the next few weeks if I don't get a visit from AF soon)

Sassy - Also hope your little one is feeling better soon to. I think this hot cold weather has really confused our immune systems. Sounds like you have a rather quick to learn baby on your hands. I was talking to my friend yesterday about her 6 month old baby talking, as she has said dadda as her first word, but at first wasn't sure if it was a fluke. But she is starting to say it a little more and only when daddy is around, then smiles straight after saying it. I can hear Cameron is getting close to saying something, as can hear lots of D, M and O sounds (wondering if he'll say Dadda, Mumma or Hello first).

MisTree - Hope your DS is ok and that as you say is only tendons causing the problem. Yay on the self settling.

Girl22 - Cameron has been a little unsettled lately too, seems to be crying for no obvious reasons sometimes. It might just be a new phase - testing to see what they get out of it maybe. My friends 6 month old has also been a little unsettled lately too (apparently she is not usually like that) - so I guess they all have moments at times like this. Just hope it doesn't last for too long.

Well, better go wake Cameron up - he didn't sleep too well today, so have let him sleep a little longer this arvo.

    Bye for now
