WOW you ladies have been chatty... weekends are a bit difficult for mr to get in ad DP b!tches that i'm talking to my other family,,, HAHAHA...

Went to the markets and brought some plants and yesterday we did the garden... Gosh it was hot... My head is sunburnt... (where my part in my hair is) ... need to wear a hat...

Girl22- Dont be silly, we love having you and anyone else popping in... as you can see we are all just blabbers... hehe feel free to pop in as little or as much as you like... I dont have a walker as we have heaps of carpet and i thought DD would hurt herself trying to move it (hard enough to slide the computer chair on the carpet) We have a jolly jumper for the same purpose as to give her a different view of things, also i use the highchair and the swing anything different is good for her.

Bec- I know what you mean about ear pearcing singing... My gosh but SOOOO sute at the same time... she's also started doing this goofy sounding half a$$ed laugh... with like a cough in it... cracks everyone up when she does it... She's laughing like that at people and also when everyone else laughs she does too like she gets the joke... YAY on the farex. Alot of us had constipation issues with farex so just keep an eye on that but i dont see an issue offering it again... DD was 6.05kg's at 4 month needles... she's bigger now (havent weighed her in a while but i'm pretty sure she'll be bigger then cam...

NaNa- still dont know what caused the rash... its gone again now... quite worrying expecially cos its like needle pr!cks all over his face and neck. DD is SO different from DS. He fed every 2 hours morning and night till 4 months then started having bigger day sleeps but still no longer then 2 hours at night. never really made noises except grunts, not really interested or bothered by anyone would go to ANYONE, never crawled early walker. DD seems to love the communication (wonder where she gets that ) very inquisitive, is a mummies girl wont go to anyone, rolls over and moves round (DS did the same) DD has just started lifting her knees while on her tummy like she's going to crawl but cant get the arms going yet.

Miss-YAY on stanky being so good for you... DD actually prefers to be out and about also. Your right about the walking on toes...

I used the walker with ds and it was a real issue... when he did start walking it was on tippy toes and we had to start him with heavier shoes earlier to correct it. The only advice i can give with the walkers is that you have them lower to the ground to bubs is flat footed and not stretching their feet to touch the floor which promotes the tippy toe walking. (dont make it too low that bubs pushes of the ground and lifts up out of the seat either as it can topple the walker over. same with the JJ, have to have them at just the right height. Also with bubs back muscles not fully developed and having them use the muscles early we have been told it can cause curviture of the spin. Having said that i dont see why 10 mins every few days would be too bad. But i have heard numerous people including chiro's, GP, peads, other mums etc warn people off of them. Walking to early can also cause bowed legs and it isnt easily corrected. I use our JJ for about 10 minutes about once a week if that. best thing for bubs back and neck is tummy time.

Abb- i think that with the 2 solids a day plus 4 BF with both sides that it does seem like its enough now... I guess i'm just used to 2 so far that feed and feed... i'm sure that if he's having plenty of wet and dirty nappies then things will be fine... when you get him weight you'll know... DD is only having 1 side a feed and will feed for MAX 15-20 mins but its usually more like 10 mins if that. were doing the ocasional solid feed ( mainly when i think DD is still hungry or is a bit grumpy) SOme days she wants it othersrefuses (just like the bottle ) I'm sure if he wasnt getting enough he's be letting you know... YAY on the awesome sleeping too.. thats great... wish little miss was back to sleeping... she's still waking at night and now wont settle again without that feed. but oh well...

Well best be off, have to do my Wii fit this morning.

mis: not sure by wat u mena how it will effect it. even if u have a doc cert it still counts as a day off. u also still pay as u have contracted that day. you get 42days per yr. it used to be 30days but if u had a cert or a pub hol it didnt count but they have changed it to 42 days no matter wat. there r certain things that u can get extra days for if u had a child with a ongoing illness that needed alot of days at the doc.
Have i confused u yet lol.

i miss my bubby so much. cant wait to go pick her up. after having the night away from her sat night i am all clingy to her lol. she didnt even care that we went.

    Hi All ,

MisTree - hope Seth feels better soon. You seem to get a lot of hurdles to jump - but you seem a rather strong person to cope ok with it all. Is that 20mins feeds during the day or night as well? Do you get much sleep?

Sassy - Well that confused me, i even read it 3 times but still didn't get it . Might be just me though, ain't got the brain like I use to. I understand what you mean about being clingy with Jayda, I was only away from Cameron for a couple of hours when I went out those times and really wanted to wake him for a cuddle when I got home (but fought the urge and just looked at his pictures instead)

Jess - I think Cameron will be tall and skinny (just like his father - minus the beer gut). He was 6pound when born- but who knows now we have started solids he might just absorb it all. He was 6kg at his 4 month needles too though (that was 4weeks before this weigh in).

How long do you think it would be to see the effect of the farex (regarding the constipation issue)? I bought some children's pear juice just in case and I am still taking my metamucil which hopefully will continue to help.

I gave Cameron a little more farex this morning. This time he ate more then he wore. I think we were putting too much on the spoon, its been 15 years since DH fed a baby and my only experience was with a baby alive about 20 years ago! He really loves the spoon going to his mouth though, he starts to smile when he sees it coming, gets excited. I will wait til Wednesday now before offering more.

That's all from me for now,

    Bye for now

Hi again... Just thought i'd pop in while i was entering the Maxi bond competition... WOW an advantage to having a famous name

Mis- childcare *****s me sometimes. With the place i take DP to i pay if he doesnt go... even if he is sick which REALLY *****s me... even with a Doc certificate. I hope Stanky is ok, do you have a vapouriser??? they work wonders when bubs cant breathe. try the chest rubs also... or if you dont have a vapouriser have a really hot shower and have stank in the bathroom too, the steam will help clear the congestion. Big hugs stank... poor bubbs.

Bec- Wish i had the tall and SKINNY genes... ...with the constipation DD didnt go for 10 days after 2 feeds of farex. i also brought the pear juice but i water it down as it is recommended for 6 months... (its already watered down but i add more) it maked DD fart alot (even though she hardly drinks any) i tried her on apple custard yesterday and the day before. this morning she had a poosplosion.... all up her back on the back of the singlet and through to her pretty tutu onesie. have it soaking in nappisan now... It was so bad i almost threw up... So if anyone needs bubs to poop try it... worked a little too well thou...

Well I picked up DS's old baby swing from MIL's and DD Loves it 3 days of using it and it makes her fall asleep almost instantly... wish i had of picked it up sooner but i thought MIL sold it at her garage sale. anyways best be off, I'm searching for new plants for our gardens sick of the horid flowers that were in there and the damn skinks that hide in them... i need plants that arent ground cover... :shudder: hate lizards... eeewwweee

jess: i know it sucks having to pay but it stops the carers gettin stuffed around. Your contracting that day so u always have it. if u dont wanna pay u cna always go on a casual contract and u will more then likly have that spot everytime but they have the right to tell u not to come one day.

mis: get one of those nose sucky things that helped jayda so much when she was stuffy and the vaporiser.

off to bed now night night

Mis_t- I BLOODY hate lizards... *scratches all over and looks around shuddering* freak me out. The poosplosion i can handle but skinks, snakes, spiders well basically any creepy crawly... YUKKYY

AWWWWEEEE Stanky is SOOO cute... YAY DD's first christmas... Best thing is she'll be a bit older then DS was for his 1st... My DS turns 4 on Nov 16... OMG he'll be in big school the yr after next...

DD loves her sppons too.. she grbs hold now and tries to help feed herself. She also tries to grab drinks off me also.

Sass- I understand but when it costs me $52 bucks a day its fairly annoying... (he's at a daycare not family daycare. My CCR is like $10 off that. which is why i'm considering not returning to work as i't be 52 for DS and $55 for DD 2 days a week

Also i agree the asperators that suck the stuff out of the nose are good as is the fess for little noses

A vapouriser is an ASSET. The best investment in bubs health that i can think of... VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED i guarentee it will be used alot

jess: i think it is slack that the centers do it. i dont see how 1 child out of over 50 makes a dif. I was just saying from the family daycare side of it, because we only have 5 kids it makes a big dif if 1 is away. also i have found u get some slack parents that dont work and book the day but only bring the children when they feel like it, but there is a working parent that really needs that spot. so i think that it helps to stop people abusing the vacant positions. ***i dont think peopel that dont work r slack just the ones that dont use their vancany prop (didnt want anyoen to take it the wrong way)

mis: how is Stanky going any better? also if u get the euky bear rub(sp?) they say to put it on their chest, their back between their shoulder blades and on the bottom of their feet. sounds stupid but i did it with jayda and it helped lots.

Sarah: how is everything going? i think ur too busy in the christmas social group to come in here lol.

omg last ngiht i was awake from like 2 till 430 then feel asleep and DH's alarm woke me at 5 then jayda started stirring. AND i am not even tired. I had the erge to go run on tread mill at 2 in the morning. very very weird lol.

i have decided now jayda is sleeping through i might get up when Dh goes of a morning and get some exercise in hahahahahahahahahahahahaha nah seriously if i can stop laughign at myself i mgiht get it done.

i have a week off next week. i was thinkin last ngiht i might beabel to try her on food that week. that way if she gets unsettled ill have to time to sort it out. wat does everyone think.
